Atani Berentes's Story
Atani Berentes had it up to her ears with these people. How dare the post be delayed, again?! She await a package from her lover across the narrow sea between Freeport and the rest of Vintu on Meaza. She shook a hateful tear, resisted assuming a full pout, and looked down her nose at the postal worker behind the glass.
"Have a victorious day."
All she could think as she head for the exit was that there existed glass between the public and the workers for good reason. Unable to procure answers of accurate measure- incompetant! But Atani didn't say these things. Instead the woman maintained an icy composure.

Ramuki turns to Atani curiously, just flaring his foxy ears curiously to listen for a bit. He does not know this place at ALL.

Atani Berentes continued to grumble under her breath as she wrestled a bag from the hover convertible. She didn't care that she was in a no parking zone- she wasn't even supposed to be on this side of Freeport anyhow! The vehicle beeped security engage as she huffed away from it. To hell with the thing. She could care less if she got a ticket! Or worse! This city was hell bent on inconveniencing her today, so she was out to give it a taste of it's own medicine.
"Can I help you?!" She incredulously asked the purple kimono's bipedal fox. She stood with a hand on her hip, bag jutting into a passerby and sending him stumbling. She shot him a glare, too, before returning her gaze to the fox.

Ramuki was speaking in Calabrese before to the spirit...when he arrived in this town. He has not actually said a word of English yet
Ramuki stares blankly in confusion at Atani. Unfortunatley, this place's Common was not yet among his languages of expertise. He blinks, and says "uhh..."

Atani Berentes waved a hand in front of her at Ramuki, and was hit with a pang. She was at the Cosmodrome. This...fox, guy, might really not understand her.
Atani Berentes gestured for Ramuki to follow her to a nearby bench. She glanced at her hovermobile, glad it hadn't caught the attention of the authourities, and gestured towards the bench, pointing at it and nodding. She started off for the bench and hoped Ramuki followed. Her hormone fit was starting to flare down, motherhood instincts raging through. When she got to the bench, Atani threw down her bag and rummaged through it.
Ramuki then idly licks his muzzle in a foxlike manner, anad decided to follow cautiously. He's VERY skittish it seems...eyes flitting all around in a nervous manner. Atani could, if her senses allowed it, smell that he was a fox, and a male at that, though his incarnation left him at least a clean fox for the time being. He does take a seat on the bench, but as soon as his fluffy rump behind the silk of the kimono lands on the place, his stomach emits a growling sound.
Atani Berentes fished out a small device and attached it to her ear. She fiddled with it for a moment, and then realized it would still only be one way. They had to get him one, too. Ah well. It was a start. She turned it on-and heard his stomach growl.
"I...can....understand.....you," Atani said it slow, pantomiming along and tapping her ear to get the point across. She then mimicked eating and pointed off.
Ramuki doesn't understand, but does peek at her pointing to her ear. The pointing however confused him, so he pointed at the device with one hand and then pointed into his open mouth with his other?! He does also now reveal that his mouth is full of RAZOR sharp wolf fangs, but his expression seems friendly at least. Pink tongue, clean mouth...and for now, fresh breath.
Atani Berentes sighed and gestured for him to follow her inside the Cosmodrome. She had to pick up a package. Luckily it was waiting at lost and found. It wasn't ever lost, it was just the closest point to the exit someone could possibly pick something up from, and due to the inconvenience strings had been pulled. She still didn't care and proceeded with her nose in the air.
