"David! David! Wait up!" Candy shouted, running in her high heels and trying to catch up with him. He always seemed to walk so fast. By the time she got to the bar door leading into Gambits, it had closed in her face.

Tutting, she growled and opened the door herself making sure she didn't hit her nails and chip them. It took a lot of work and money to make them that perfect. "David! You didn't hold the door open for me!" She shouted as seh walked over to where he'd seated himself at the bar.

"I invited me here. Like I have to invite myself everywhere just to get a chance to be with you. You never bring me out anywhere." Candy refused to believe that they were truly over. In her eyes she was in love with David and they were going to get married and maybe... maybe have children - only girls - and only if she could deal with being fat... But she refused to believe that they weren't dating.

"My name is Candy, not Brittany. Stop calling me that ridiculous name please." She begged him. "And I don't have school, or practice or anything. Cora is out with Fillipa who is also out with Tula. Tula is the girl I don't like. Remember last year when..." She drowned on. "... and so that is why I'm not with them."

Candy leaned over and kissed his cheek, deliberately of course, trying to provoke him into some sort of affection for her. "Come on, Davy... Relax. It's just a name. I'm not using it as a stripper name. I just want to be called Candy. Brittany is sooooo - well, plain." She frowned. "All my friends call me Candy."

She wrapped an arm around him, letting her fingers press against his shoulder and play with his shirt. "And our kids will call me Candy... Well our girls... If we decide to have children. I think girls are less messy than boys. And better behave. I'd like a girl. I don't know if I could be fat though. It might ruin my figure."

Candy rolled her eyes. "We need to get you a better job then. Cassie knows someone that knows someone who's wife's best friend's cousin works for some pretty rich guy in the computer business. If we tidy you up a little I'm sure we could get in contact and get some strings pulled. Then you wouldn't get so messy. You'd have a suit and a desk." She grinned.

"Oh... And I've started moving my things to your place today. And I need some money. I've seen the cutest little things for our house. I want to replace your bed too. It needs to be a little bigger. And I want to move rooms around. The master bedroom is a little too small for my things." She continued.

Candy frowned, pulling away from David. "Too late... I hired a few friends to take my stuff over. They said that they'd leave my stuff inside." She grinned. "They were so nice to me. I said you'd tip them too."

"And why do you have to be so grumpy all the time David. I'm just moving us in the next logical step towards our future. You act like it's the end of the world. Like you don't want me." She frowned.

Candy looked at David. "I know you're a little mad at me for that, and I'm sorry. It wasn't my fault though. Brandon was just... I don't know. Anyway, it's in the past. It's you that I want." She told him. "And we'll look for a new place together then." She added.

Sitting down, she took out her phone, something which she'd contracted under David's name so he was paying the money bills. That was quite high each month. "I know the perfect place to start looking for. Jenna lives there. We could be next door buddies. You'd like her husband Greg. He's into tennis and golf. You could play together."

Candy frowned. "Come on, David. I said I was sorry. I love you, baby. You know that." She stood up and wrapped her hand around him once more. "Please forgive me. I won't do it again. I promise." She told him, making her poutty face and trying to get him into doing what she wanted.

"Don't be too long, sugar bunny." She used one of her pet names for him. "I'll miss you. I'll wait here for you." With that, she sat down and waited for David to come back, ordering herself a drink and putting it on David's tab.

Candy still sat on a barstool waiting for her boyfriend to reappear. She was all alone and still waiting. Deep down, she knew he'd deserted her.

"Have you forgiven me yet?" Candy asked. She wasn't giving in until he announced they were boyfriend and girlfriend again. She wanted him and only him. She didn't like that he'd broken up with her. And truth be told, he didn't know the full story. Not that he'd believe her anyway. She knew that. So why bother telling him the truth?

"I'm not getting off of this bike til you say we're back together again and you've forgiven me." She added. "And I'm still pissed that you didn't tell me you were leaving. Do you know how it feels to be left in a bar like that?" She yelled at him. "And this better not make me break a nail!" She added, clutching onto him tightly.

She was afraid of his bike, her grip iron on his waist! "And drive carefully! I don't want to fall and ruin my image!"

"DAVID!" Candy yelled as the bike roared. "You better not be getting ready to speed off on this bike. I want us going slow. I'm not going to risk falling of your stupid bike. You'd mess up my image." She snapped at him, wanting to sit up but at the same time not daring to let go of David.

It was at this moment that she noticed others around and though she'd never seen any racing before, even her airhead no-brain worked out that they were preparing for some kind of race. Call it male testosterone or something.

"DAVID! You better not be planning on doing what I think you're about to do. You just take us home, slowly. You even think about having a race and you'll be in the doghouse for a week!" She cried out. "Ya hear me?"

"You idiots. Think I want to go anywhere with your sorry asses? The only person I wanna be with is on this bike. Whether he loses or wins." Candy was doing all the talking for David anyway that she didn't even notice that he was giving her a chance to get off the bike.

"You men and your big-ass bad machines, think you're all that and that racing is all this." Candy rolled her eyes and rambled on as if people were actually listening to her. "My David isn't stupid enough to race your sorry asses anyway. We're heading home."

Though she fell silent when the engine revved up. "DAVID!" She yelled, grabbing onto his shirt as if she was clinging for her life. Once the light went green she'd be screaming for her life, too!

"DAVID STOP THIS BIKE RIGHT NOW!!!!" Candy screamed, her hands a death grip around his waist. Never had she been on his bike when it was going this fast before. And she was never doing it again. She was going to kill him. She really would.

"STOP THE BIKE! STOP THE BIKE!" Was all she screamed as they went, unaware that he couldn't even hear her.

Candy was off the bike faster than a speeding bullet when David had stopped. "Are you trying to get us killed? What were you thinking racing like that. I think I had several thousand heart attacks!" Of course Candy was over reacting.

She poked him hard in the chest, giving him a good telling off. "Never, ever, ever let me see or hear about you doing that again." She threatened.

Candy was about to fly off on another rant at the woman that approached them and started talking to her. But she didn't get a chance. David was in there immediately flirting with the woman! Candy didn't know whether to be angry or hurt. Truth was, she was both. So she was going to get all possessive. That would show the stupid little bitch where to go.

"I'll be there with you next time too, that wasn't so bad, sugarbunny." She deliberately called him that stupid pet name as she wrapped an arm around his shoulders and tried to plaster her body against his while kissing his cheek. "That was fun. We should do it again one day..."

David practically threw her off him and she barely kept her balance in her stupid high heels. Frowning, she just stared at him for a second, watching as he continued to talk as if she wasn't there. And the dead weight comment... Candy may act stupid a lot of the time, but she still knew that he was referring to her. And that did hurt.

"Well, this 'dead weight' should just go back home so you can hang out with your new buddies. Have fun, David. I won't bother waiting for you." With that, she just turned around and started to walk away, detemined to not show that she was upset. No, she'd just go shopping. With his money. She could and would do that. They knew David well enough around town. She could just set up a tab in his name.

Perfect revenge. Her own shopping spree.

Candy sat in David's apartment on the bed silently trying to decide what to do. She now knew what he thought of her and sighed while she waited for him to return home. She was going to talk to him when he got back.

He thought she was just some dead weight. A dead weight. That made her feel so good about herself. She didn't even know how to explain what she wanted to explain to him. It was hard to even try and get coherent thoughts. After all, David just thought she was stupid. So, when she thought she heard him, she called out.

"David, that you?"

"Yeah, the dead weight's here in the bedroom." Candy repeated his words with venom in her tone. "Have fun with your new date?" She aksed though she didn't want to know at all. "That was so embarrassing. Do you have any idea how that made me feel?" She was immediately into attacking him for his behaviour earlier. Acting like they were still together and he was the one cheating on her.

"Am I really that worthless to you?"

"I'm trying to make things uop to you. How can I do that when you go about sleeping and flirting with other girls. How does that make me feel when I love you!" She shouted, the tears coming into her eyes easily like aways.

"You're mine! I just want you!"

"I said I was sorry! What will it take for you to forgive me! I'm trying to do everything you want and you're not happy with any of it. None of it. What do I have to do for you to take me seriously? You don't believe anything I say. It's like you laugh at everything I say or do." She frowned.

"No, David. That's not it. You treat me like an idiot, David." Candy was in full swing of another tantrum. "Like you refuse to call me Candy. It's just a name. Like when I call you snugglebunny. Why can't you respect me? Maybe I wouldn't have looked for attention else where if you'd taken me seriously and with respect!" Candy immediately regretted the words as they left her mouth.

"I'm not a slut. Do you know what happened that night? Do you even want to know? Actually, forget that. You wouldn't even believe me anyway. You never believe me. I'm just stupid girl that you." She ignored his hand. "Don't you dare leave, David. Don't you dare!" Candy yelled at him.

Candy stood there shocked for a moment. She frowned. He had found her with him in his bed. "I came over to talk to you, and Jeff was already here. Don't ask me how he got in, I don't know how. He invited me in and like usual, he was on some beer and I'd poured some wine. Before I knew it he had led me to the bedroom and trying it on..." Candy looked at David to see if he was believing her.

"I was waiting for you. I had a couple of glasses. Yes, it was too much. I shouldn't have but he was your friend and I thought that him being your friend wouldn't try a move on me." She sighed. "Forget it. You don't care. I get it. Just go as you want." Candy frowned stalking back to the bedroom.

"I never saw it coming. We were talking about you and Jeff was talking about you and I don't know... we just ended up in your room and I took a seat on the bed. I like your bed because it smells of you. As stupid as it sounds, when I miss you I like to have something that smells like you. You're bed did. One minute we were talking... The next he was on top of me. I'd had a couple of glasses of wine. I'd been talking about you. I was confused long enough to end up naked.. And then you walked in. Everyone's right. I'm just some stupid bimboheaded dead weight." Candy frowned trying to decide what to do with herself. "If you want me to pack up my things and leave you alone then I'll get out of your way."
