Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"But she took the wedding plan-thing out..." Well, kinda. Ginny had put the wedding planner on the table with plans of hiding it when Cerenah had returned from her grandmother's house only to completely forget about it... Cere didn't know that, though. "Is it 'cause you don't like G'andma? I won't go to G'andma's house any more," she promised tearfully.

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"But Daddy doesn't ever see me!" Cerenah hadn't yet had a school play, and any birthdays she was far too young to recall in their entirety. She couldn't understand what a let down it might turn out to be if Sedra didn't turn up. "You see me more than Daddy does. You're a better Daddy than he is."

Cerenah looked at her coin, but didn't do her usual clapping or giggling. "What if she's already sure? V'ass and Mummy were talking 'bout it yesterday here! Before the sca'y thing came."

Cerenah figured that it must be an adult thing. They got married all the time at school when they played house! "D'you want to look at the pictures?" she asked. "S'when Mummy was at G'eat Uncle David's wedding. I was too 'ittle to go."

Cerenah put the planner onto the floor (it was far too big for her to hold when it was open) and picked up the front cover, allowing Sedra to see the various pictures and cuttings stuck to the faintly blue pages.

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"That's 'cause Mummy's pretty and the lady getting married to G'eat Uncle David was 'twenty yea's too young to be getting married to a old man.' G'andma said so," Cerenah assured Sedra.

Cerenah giggled, covering her mouth. "Okay. Is you arm better yet? Did Cee fix it?" Cere held a lot of stock in her doctor's talent. The man had managed to fix her mother, it couldn't get better than that. "Can you and V'ass still be my Daddy and Uncle even if you don't get married to Mummy?"

Cerenah took that to be a semi-good thing, and flipped a few more pages of the planner before hugging herself to Sedra's uninjured arm (she'd been given a severe warning from her mother not to touch, jostle or jump on Sedra's sore parts).

Cerenah may have only been five years old, but that didn't make her a complete nimrod. She noticed the sudden cold, curling nearer to Sedra automatically. "Don't know... Mummy wore a big foofy dress. It made her look like a meringue."

Cerenah shook her head, giggling. "S'a dress for weddings! S'too big, I think it should've been not so fat."

"Green!" Cerenah said enthusiastically, giggling happily and gesturing at a particularly soft shade of green on the page before them. "That colour! Is pretty, see?"

Cerenah looked at Sedra's hair, the page and back again. "We could dye your hair V'ass-coloured!"

Cerenah pouted. "But V'ass the Donkey is V'ass-coloured," she pointed out. "V'ass is a pretty colour! What colour would be nice with your hair if green isn't nice?"

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"Birthday cards are lots of colours!" Cere didn't play much poke, understandably, and so she was quite oblivious to what Sedra was actually referring to.

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"Ask Ass. V'ass knows everything," she nodded. Yup, at five years old, Cerenah was more than happy to believe that the man was indeed the best thing since sliced bread (probably better than bread, because Cerenah loathed the crusts).

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"Why're we going to see V'ass? I thought we were planing Mummy's wedding!" Oh well. If they went to see Vrass, she could tell him how far she was getting with their plan!

Cerenah did not enter as soon as she approached the door. She actually had to spend several minutes trying to reach the door knob, but eventually she managed and shouldered open the door with her arms full of what appeared to be... wedding magazines?

"Sed'a!" she called loudly, voice childish and high-pitched. "Sed'a?"

Cerenah looked quite confused, her brows furrowed. She'd been so certain that Sedra would be here. "Sed'a..." she whispered; perhaps he was hiding from someone? "Sed'a?"

The little girl was becoming more and more upset the further she walked into the. It was more apparent as she did that Sedra was not here. "Sed'a?"

Character Portrait: Cerenah Cerenah says,
"Sed'a!" Cere knew how to get to her Grandmother's and the Bar from her house... but from Gambit's to either of those places? She wasn't sure... "Sed'a!" Her voice had risen again, still high-pitched, but now it was with rising fear than excitement.

The little girl walked past various patrons, checking the Sedra was not in fact hiding behind them. "Sed'a!"

Cerenah blinked at Rylous, startled by the appearance of the 'heavenly' creature. "I can't find 'Da..." she whimpered. As with any child, addressing the problem appeared to intensify it, and she burst into tears as a result. "I can't find 'Da!"

Cerenah sniffed loudly, holding her various wedding and bridal magazines to her as best as she could. "Sed'a looks like V'ass," she stated tearfully. "But with red hair! V'ass has green hair..."

Cerenah placed her magazines on the floor and, rather startlingly, simply shifted a good bit closer to attach herself to Rylous' leg. "Ban'a milkshake?" she asked quietly, still giving the odd hiccup of a sob of sniffle.

"Is Sed'a going to come back? Not like Daddy, right?" She didn't seem to get it that Rylous had no idea who any of her family, nor her family-to-be, were.

"Mummy's s'eeping at home! She said Gran'a'd be here soon, but she had 'meds' and she fell as'eep... Gran'a didn't see me when I left!" she giggled. The young girl appeared to have sneaked out of her home. "Sed'a has to pick marriage-wedding things!"

Cerenah blinked at the offer to be lifted, but decided that getting a milkshake and finding Sedra was far more important than her magazines. She lifted her arms, staring up at the angel with watery eyes.
