Two Figures entered the bar quickly surveying their surroundings.
K'kas Ei Lar'r'res.
the first one spoke in a heavily accented and sharp voice. This one was wearing an armored uniform. He was very much resembling of a Human, but had noticeably paler skin, and was slightly shorter than the norm for Males. He was in possession of two ears blended into his short hair, and had a scar down his left cheek. He was also in possession of a rather bushy tail.

The other figure wore a similar outfit, and responded
K'kas Ei Tev'sis.
. He looked different however. He was extremely tall and slim, exactly like a snake, and had two beady eyes. He had no hands or legs, a true serpentine form, however, he had several tendrils expanding from his back. He was a pale green color, the eyes blue.

Both of them had three weapons on hand within sight, and had an array of contraptions attached to their belt (belts for the serpentine figure), and confirmed the bar as being clear of hostile figures.

The Figures both kept an eye on everyone in the bar. The Serpentine in particular didn't even hold his weapons, all of them floating beside him. Both of the figures possessed weapons that resembled a Shotgun, an Assault Rifle, and a Contraption with Two Outputs. On hand equipment consisted of more crystalline weapons, possibly grenades and other various objects.

The Serpentine one spoke up to his partner, taking note of other soldier types in the bar.
Ssssay, watch for that ssssyborg sssstanding right over there. He lookssss ssssusssspissssoussss.

The Other Figure, the short one about as tall as Werat'te, who also had a tail and ears, nodded. He wasn't as good with the standard language as the others were, but he understood.

Tein's'q'wis Rez'z'por performed a heavily modified version of a Roman Salute.
K'kas Ei Tev'sis!
he exclaimed before he approached the bar counter.
Fres'de lash'd'f deh'c'fys t's'kia coror isal'ki, gor'soda?
he asked the Bartender.

Shi! Yas'h'l os'n'd'p. Fres'de lash'd'f deh'c'fys t's'kia coror isal'ki, gor'soda, nei s'jas.
he stated, seeming to get a bit angry.

One of the Continuum soldiers spoke up here.
But, Vivaz'q'w'pi Rebekka! Vivaz'q'w'xi Werat'te! We can't award a medal to a non-Continuum cit-

He was cut off by a sharp *ping* noise as she grunted. Looking down, a small hole was now in his armor, a light flashing within before shards exploded out of the man and he fell to the floor. He looked similar to Werat'te.

Vivaz'q'w'xi Werat'te Ev'riae Ngeli stood around completely unamused by the location.
[Aww...why do we need to sight see here Rebekka~?]
she spoke in a tongue so foreign and bizarre sounding, that the only word decipherable was "Rebekka".

Werat'te was about 5'2" by Human standards, and looked relatively light. She also had the most perfect hourglass of a body, certainly a good ratio. Curvy and attention grabbing. Also of note was her two ears and her tail, these a trait universal to all At'tecian. Her uniform was a dark gray color; a militaristic shirt and skirt combined, the shirt being somewhat tight. She also sported a plaid tie to compliment plaid shoulder and wrist cuffs. Her skirt too bore strips of plaid material, and all this lovely plaid was a hue of red similar to her eyes. She also possessed gloves on her hands that were light gray in color, and both flexible and comfortable despite covering the entire hand.

She notably had dull gray thighhighs and combat boots in a matching hue. The boots appeared to be mostly made of material, but had wicked amounts of metal placed on them for protection. A garrison hat finished the outfit, dull gray with a plaid covering. The state of the uniform and it's logo was befitting of a high ranking official.

Her aside, her compatriot responded in her best rendition of the tongue, which was really darn good.
[Lady Werat'te, one of the easiest to find groups that would pose non-hostile here towards us resides in this area. It's a matter of finding them, then we don't need to visit the capital for a repeat of your past experience.]

This lovely figure was definitely Human. She sported a black military uniform and a long coat that were very badge and medal decorated, as well as a peaked hat with the Attecian Insignia emblazoned on it. She had an oddity in a monocle as well. She walked with a careful posture, and was almost trying to avoid exaggerated motions when possible.

With both of them was four other individuals. All four were identical hovering brown pillars with a purple and glowing energy line flowing down one side, a rounded bottom, and a flat top. Hovering a short distance above the main pillar, a small orb with a small circle carved into it could be seen. Each one was making a bizarre and downright disturbing whirring sound. Low and constant, without pause. The four pillars hovered in a perfect square around Werat'te and her companion as they wandered, none of them speaking.

The Human spoke again in the weird tongue.
[Lady Werat'te, I don't recall this area at all. I apologize I cannot be more help.]

The Lady herself spoke in the bizarre tongue too.
[It's okay~! We'll find our way~! Hooray hooray hooray~!]

She seemed unhinged...

A gray-clad figure was nervous about coming back here, and it showed. As much as he wanted to, he just couldn't leave his mother planet in its moment of need. He had to do something. Maybe get his belongings together for a permanent vacation. "Now where did I put that little time capsule of mine? I know it's here somewhere." He was looking at the scribbles of his younger self, trying to find a few keepsakes while oblivious to the presence of Weratte and her entourage.

"Dammit, I can't make any of this out. Was it three to the right and two over, or two to the right and three over...oh, these were my pace lengths at that age!" The frustrated Lawrence took a spade and started digging at a random spot, trying to get to the buried treasure before a Vankoryth patrol did.

Werat'te had the group stop for a small break against trees, as they sat and managed to keep above the fog.

[Are we there yet~? It's so boring walking around these trees...and scary fog~]
she spoke in the foreign tongue. Her companion replied likewise.

[Almost. We'll finish resting here, and then continue. It can't be much further based on what information we got from inelligence.]

Conveniently, the tree they chose to rest by was right next to Lawrence, whom they did not see, as he dug at ground level partially shrouded by fog. Fortunately, this meant that should he look up, he'd see a very alluring woman sitting down, her tail wrapped carefully around the tree she sat in front of. She was an hourglass, and curvy of course. Perfect (mayhaps almost inhuman) really when compared to an average Human.

The other woman leaned against another tree and was looking towards the sky...or the trees that blocked it off. The four pillars began a small patrol zone as they waited, at Werat'te's orders.
You guys patrol this area while we rest~ I don't need a repeat of last visit~

Clump after clump of dirt flew in various directions, some threatening to get in the eyes of Weratte herself. Fortunately for the lot of them, he stopped shoveling for a minute and crouched down into his hole, thinking a patrol was coming his way. Well, he was right, but they weren't part of the Forces Vankoryth. Instead, there were two hourglass-shaped women and four crystal-like beings forming a defensive perimeter...just who were these guys, anyway?

He nervously held his shovel as if ready to use it as a weapon. "Wha-? Who are you guys? You're not with them, are you? I just wanted to dig up my time capsule and get out of here, I don't want any trouble!" The hole was barely large enough for him to use it as a foxhole, and sweat ran down his face from the heavy labor he had been doing. A few more sweat drops were because of the beautiful woman looming above him, but hey, who's counting?

A slick black sports vehicle came hovering through the fog, casting a purple glow on the ground it exposed in wake. Inside sat a lone man dressed in navy blue and gold. His hair was pulled back into a small tail: It matched the auto. Today the man had chosen to wear sunglasses which masked his eyes completely, and was debating on how they really looked when he whirred past quite the scene.

...

Throwing the vehicle in reverse, Reisel slowly backed up and maneuvered towards the things.

Rebekka Seibicke, the Human, was no hourglass. She was rather statuesque, sure, but no means anywhere near the level of perfection that was Werat'te herself. However, it seemed that Rebekka stood in excess of six feet herself.

She adjusted her Monocle as she saw Lawrence converse with them.
Relax. Anxiety is NG. We don't mean direct harm yet.
she stated in the language that Humans used often, so called English, or Common, or what have you, albeit with an odd alien accent that was somewhat staccato.

That meant Rebekka was Human, that was for sure, just like Lawrence. She did adjust her monocle again as she turned to observe the vehicle approaching.
[It is time...Tein's'q'wis, perimeter. Protect the Lady!]
she spoke in the alien tongue.

Sure enough, the four pillars flew to form a pyramid of sorts around her and Werat'te, leaving space for Werat'te to get up and prepare for talk.

Werat'te herself seemed upbeat all of a sudden as she too regarded Lawrence. In fact, she addressed him in her alien tongue.
Ahh~! Eig Werat'te Ev'riae N'geli~! Fres'de lash'd'f Eia deh'c'fys isal'ki g'rilas'k gor'soda~?

She was practically cheering, sparkly eyes and all, suddenly oblivious to why her guards were moving to form a perimeter.

Now Lawrence was even more on edge. As the four Crystonlis guards went into a pyramid formation, he regarded the shapely stranger with a lot of apprehension as it tried to communicate in a strange language, with lots of glottal stops. And was that a car approaching?!

"Listen to me. I'm just here to get my time capsule that I buried here as a kid," he managed to say to Rebekka. "Could you tell your strange friends to, uh, leave me alone while I do that? Also, sounds like the Forces Vankoryth have embraced modern tech--I hear a car coming." As he fumbled around, his hand hit a small rock. Or was it?

"Ow!" The pain seemed to wash away the fear, and it in turn was replaced with curiosity as he attacked the area with a pocket knife, which then gave way to joy. "Yes! Yes! This is it! This is what I was looking for!" he exclaimed as he pulled out...a plastic lunchbox with a faded design that looked like a cross between an armored human wielding a sword and a fighter jet. Probably one of the legendary Gundams, from the looks of it and its age. However, instead of leaving with his prize, Lawrence's warrior senses told him to stay in the hole and let the girls on the surface handle any trouble.

Reisel stopped the vehicle a few feet before the formation of beings. There it hovered, staring, pyramid reflecting in the ever-shining hood of the car. The fogs began to gather again as the craft idled. Then, the front viewing port of the sports vehicle rippled and...Completely disappeared. There sat Reisel, dark shades covering his face, mouth a line, staring out at the scene.

He hadn't spoken since the landing, and half wondered if he could still. These people certainly didn't speak in his tongue, or whatever they were.

"Greetings," He spoke to the party, as another party approached in the distance.

Cuspid, however, could smell another vampire. A Detente vampire, to be exact. "Yeah, I suppose so," She said aloud, sharply looking ahead and spotting the glows of technology. "I'm ready to walk around in the daylight with my partner, he's a wolf an-" Her heart sunk as she spotted a vehicle ahead.

"Ah...Hey, that's...Detente up ahead. I should... probably best be off," Cuspid had been avoiding interaction with the group specifically. Now that she had her UV protection, she was eager to return to Canine. Before he found her.

Boyfriend? Cuspid stifled a laugh and shot up into the trees, fleeing the scene. She reeked of Vampire, and was in no mood to tangle with a Detente vampire, especially not in front of a crowd. Bad publicity waiting to happen.

Reisel caught the scent of strange vampires, and turned his head to greet the newcomers. What a busy day in the Cursed Wood. When did the trade route become so...populated? He made a mental note to mention higher patrol of this route later.

"Hello there," There was quite the assembly outside of the vehicle.

Reisel heard the screeches from afar, and knew it could be nothing good. His senses heightened, and he shot a wary glance around the crowd. Damn his car for being so small.

"That sounds-" Gunshots. Reisel swore to himself and slammed the center communications module in the descorp vehicle. The face of Sergeant Dermaud swam into focus. He seemed slightly alarmed to see Reisel, but hid the emotion fast. As the Sergeant opened his mouth to speak, Reisel cut in with firm instructions.

"Armed escorts," Reisel tapped the display to send his coordinates to the Sergeant. After the coordinates were acknowledged as received, he signed off. The com blacked over Sergeant Dermaud's salute. No use for formality, not now.

"It's not safe out here," Reisel said to the two strange parties he had hovered across. His voice was monotonous in delivery, the grave implications didn't need any emotion to feel real. "Backup is on it's way but it's likely best we move towards the Castle." Could he bring all these people back to the Castle? Like hell he couldn't. He'd like to see someone stop him.

Werat'te managed to hold meaningful conversation that involved only herself, lost in her world. A babbling wall of text in her bizarre alien language.

Rebekka on the other hand took note of the other parties.
Not safe you say? Very well. For our sakes, please do lead the way. Lady Werat'te, let us go with them.

She turned to the other crystalline structures and spoke in a bizarre tongue, signalling them to keep an eye on Werat'te as they followed this strange group. Should anyone try anything funny, they'd react accordingly.

Reisel arrived in Verinotte Hollow with the guests. This wasn't Castle Vankoryth, but would accommodate better. There was a tavern here, a hotel, winery, even a square. Scenic and lively, for the residents were recently satiated with UV shots courtesy of Descorp and the Vankoryth Detente, East Lanterna Way was quite a place to arrive.

He parked his hovercar, and another two sidled up to park as well. Reisel climbed out of one, and waited for the others to assemble before he introduced the town.

"Welcome to Verinotte Hollow, brought to you by my family the Draculs, and the Vankoryth Detente."

A light dusting of cherry blossom petals carried across their feet. Reisel seemed unaffected by the beauty of it all.

"I've been here before. Well, not this particular street. But, Verinotte Hollow's not exactly a new sight to me." Lorelai shrugged.

Blair simply looked around with her one visible eye, as one side of her face was covered by her bangs. "Hmm...h-hey, brother? Could we rent some place and move here?" she asked, apparently enjoying the scenery here.

"Hey, what is this Vankoryth Detente anyways? It seems to be a pretty big deal on this world." Jude asked, curious as to what kind of organization the Detente was, and why Cuspid had left while they were in the woods, as she seemed to want to avoid contact with any representative of the Detente. He wasn't sure how much he trusted the Detente either, having only heard of it recently.

"The Vankoryth Detente," Reisel began, "Is a noble alliance of creatures of the night. All are welcome, and protected, so long as they follow the Creeds," He gestured, "Basic societal laws."

He then looked to Lorelai and nodded. It was a nice town, Verinotte Hollow. He was to reside here eventually. Moving here didn't seem as such a horrid option.

Suddenly, Terra quaked as Descorp left the planet. All of the technology they left behind would still work, however no new technology would ever appear. Reisel clenched his jaw, there was something very the matter.

"Protection for creatures of the night? I guess a necromancer like me with an undead sibling wouldn't be too out of place here, then." Lorelai said to Reisel.

Blair seemed to not have much to say at the moment and just looked at her brother, Lorelai, and nodded.
