Image
(Best Picture I could find)

Name: Crimson Reaper (CR is his most popular nickname, but he has a few)

Age: Appears eight, might actually be eight, might be older then the universe.

Height: Lower then 4 ft., can only be described as short.

Hair Color: Bright Red

Eye Color: Crimson Red, Bright Red when "active".

Clothing: Dark Black Cloak/Coat that goes down to his knees and the sleeves are way too long. Dark pants, and black sneakers. He also has a red T shirt.

Weapon: A large Scythe that has a red handle. Magic Power: Error....unable to calculate or quantify.

Known Traits: Mostly inconsistent. Tends to act childish, but has some level of decent decision making at times. Loves ice cream, is short for his age, and tends to slaughter people who he considers enemies. His father is Death itself, and his mother is unknown (technically). Although even sharp people would easily mistake him for a simple, goofy child with short height and somewhat long hair, only the sharpest of the sharp would be able to tell his real power and abilities, and realize that contradicting to his young, fresh body, that he is derived from Eldritch Power not of any part of the multiverse, but something beyond even that.

He does get along great with animals though, and likes to enjoy life. He also is enrolled at school, though it seems strange he can wander the streets at any time of day anywhere in the universe and not get into trouble.

Because of his age, power, and abilities, he is constantly sought after by multiple organizations and people to use as a weapon. However, he has to date either evaded or slaughtered anyone who came after him. He doesn't like people he considers "jerks", but likes people he considers to be "nice".

It is believed he lies between the crevice of sanity and insanity. However, despite his power, it is also known he is not invincible, because he often blocks or dodges attacks against him indicating he can be hurt.

Family History: His father is one of the most known things in all of existence, Death itself. It is an entity(?) both ageless and timeless with no clear defined existence, and will exist beyond the scope of forever. He is responsible for keeping the all the universes, not just the ones in the multiverse, in check, and prevents the flooding and overflow of souls. Even gods someday die, as if there is too much of the same for too long it can get worrisome. Although he knows there are those who claim to be immortal out there, a few specs wont matter too much. That said, if someone tried to create an immortal army or race, he might have to personally interfere as it could cause calamities to occur randomly in the universe from the lack of progress and flow. His manifested form was given the name "Grim Reaper".

His mother is what is known as the Flame of Life, and named herself Filianna. She is responsible for the creation of new life, and making sure that the soul is capable of enjoying life in the best possible way. Although she governs life, she herself is a similar entity to Death, an Eldritch being that cannot be classified even in the Multiverse. However, she is upset that Death has to constantly reap her creations, even though she knows what would happen if he did not.

Acknowledging this, Death decided to try and cheer Filianna up. As a result, he tried to do all sorts of things, including music and art, or make it so that at least there was a higher chance of people passing peacefully. And although it did not alleviate much, it did lead to an unexpected development...they fell in love. For Eldritch beings, who had been around for so long, their relationships and views on another had stopped changing. This was probably the first time it had happened in over one billion years. And as they fell in love, Death thought of an idea. Using their great power, they both managed to manifest themselves with all their power, and for thirty days straight made love to each other. And then, at the very end, their excreted essences fused together and became a new Eldritch being, the first born since long before time started existing.

He gave Filianna not just love, but also a son. Although Filianna was worried at first as she believed Death would take their son too, he explained it was impossible as the baby was of their essence. He would maintain a manifested form, but he was a new Eldritch being with no lifespan. Death could never take him into the place where all the dead go. Instead, he would possess abilities of both of them. The ability to kill anything, whether it be spirits, immortals, or even Gods, would be under his power, but he would also have the ability to enjoy life. To create, and sing, and dance. He would have a disposition to slaughter those who would upset people's life and happiness, but he himself would not be a tool for Death unless he chose to, and would be something Filianna would never lose. He would be the one child she had that she would never have to cry for his loss, and that he might even be able to delay the loss of other innocent lives.

That was Death's gift to Filianna, and as thanks and in recognition for their love, in what might be the first time ever, two Eldritch beings got married.

Special Abilities:

Soulbound Weapon: Can summon and store his Scythe at any time or point he wishes, even if time is stopped or space is isolated. Even if Magic is negated.

Stupidly High Resistance: To everything.

Unrealistic Physical Stats: Although there are beings tougher, stronger, and faster then him, he is tougher, stronger, and faster then most beings, to a point of it being unrealistic but still comparable.

Magic?: Is capable of using abilities that can only be described as magic, but are not affected by things that target magic as it originates from an existence outside of the Multiverse's reality. Magic Barriers and other things can still block some of these attacks, but the abilities and powers themselves seem to operate on something that cant be nullified or negated directly.

Dimensional Tear: Can drag others as well as himself into a small pocket dimension, and use it to travel between places.

Cursed Eye: An eye that holds unreasonable power, if activated it would drive someone mad when looked into, and could induce both natural hallucinations and illusions to appear.

Immortal?: Is he immortal? Supposedly he is the son of Death itself, so it might be possible. He can be defeated though, unless the definition of defeat is death, and he can still feel pain to some extent.

Reaper: Whether it be Spirits, Immortals, or Gods, he can kill anything. Whether it is easy or not depends on their skill and compatibility, but it is impossible for one not to be at least somewhat effected by his attacks.

So begins...

Crimson Reaper's Story

In a dark back alley, there was a scene of fresh blood which had just a few moments ago, been a bloody battle. That said, it was only in the sense it was a battle that had been bloody. For a single side. There was a boy that stood over a group of heavily injured and dead Mafioso that had gone after him and tried to kill him after he had come up and asked them a question the moment after they had executed someone they wanted erased.

"Now...let me ask you, one last time...where is the ice cream shop already!"

Crimson looked around as he hopped, skipped, and jumped across the town in the early morning. As the city was becoming lively with music, it filled him with energy and delight, so much so that he felt like dancing. As someone who enjoyed life, even though his father was Death itself, he was someone who tended to be considered odd and eccentric.

But as he summoned forth his scythe in the middle of the street, he began his footwork as he swung his scythe around. At first, the people nearby became concerned that he might hit someone, but it never even came close. In the first place, Crimson was not holding it combat style, with a hand facing either side, but both hands were facing up when he first gripped the handle, and he held it in the center of the handle. This was the position of a Scythe Dancer, something he learned long ago from his father.

As the song commenced, many were even taken aback by the innocence in his smile, the amazingness of his appearance, and the elegance of his movements. Although most of CR's movements were often silly or childish, or brutal and efficient when in battle, this was just another side to him. It was a way to use a Scythe without taking lives, but instead enjoying life. And as he danced and danced, he encountered many types of people who enjoyed and appreciated it, that it made him smile just a little bit more.

"What trouble?" Linus scoffed and leaned back, trying his best not to appear nervous and throwing on his poker grin, "Nah. No trouble t'be had here."

Inside the pirate was sweating bullets. He would not want to get on this guys bad side, or even worse bounty list. Maybe there was some sort of parlay he could pull here. He did show the kid around. Gave him something warm. Hell, maybe Linus could pay him off enough when the time came.

Out of the corner of his eye, Linus noticed a spectacle out the window of the cottage-like establishment. Someone was juggling scythes, and what a show! Wow...Linus got a little distracted and didn't notice the waitress come up for their order. He pointed out the window.

"Check it out! Oh uh, sorry ma'am, uh, grits n'butter please."

Unlike Linus, who regained composure at the sight of the waitress asking for his order, Cam completely ignored her at the spectacle being displayed outside.

"Woah! That's so cool!" he stared in amazement at the fluidity of the boy's movements, the eb and flow of the sharp scythe he was twirling, and the charisma in his endless smile that attracted everyone to the show. The townsfolk let the music continued at the hope of not seeing the kid stop his dance. His bright red hair seemed to bounce in time to the beat as he went on, the black clothes providing a stark contrast to the energy he was putting forth. He looked younger than Cam did...and definitely shorter. Almost like he could pass for his little brother or something.

Immediately he took his phone out, activating the "Camera" function and began recording some video, "Better start filming," he half thought to himself, half informed Linus, "Documenting the process."

His view of the dance was from the cottage-like diner they were situated in, so his seat to the entire show wasn't the greatest. But he'd long perfected the zoom and enhance technique on the lens and that was all it took to make the recording as if he was standing in the front row.

Crimson was in full blast now, as his Scythe dance picked up into the most energetic part. Conveniently, the singing and the music also appeared to be approaching a similar stage, so it was meshing well with each other. As he did, it also became one of the most difficult movement's to master. It was a part that was difficult to pronounce in this reality...but Shelesha Mosayia would be the closest. It's closest meaning would be "The Song of the Death Blade, Returning the Lifeforce back to the World to Begin Anew".

It was a dance that celebrated the coming of new life into the world, and continuing the tale of the old. The dance itself was known to show a poetic feel, and would even make onlookers cry of joy. It commanded such a powerful emotion such as that in it's mere performance. And as one of the main parts of the Shelesha Mosayia, the Scythe was spun into the air and he jumped up into the air along with it. The people were so entranced, or maybe so used to the abnormal, that no one questioned a physical ability beyond that of even high schooler students. After all, they were still enjoying his smile.

And as he landed, he had the Scythe handle come down and hit the ground first, with then the edge of the blade pivoting as he slid down the handle and slowed himself down using the grip to just have his shoes rest on the blade, without it cutting into them. He then stepped off of it as it swung around and forward, returning to his grip as he performed the final bow. It was convienent the tune stopped right there, but there was no lack of applause as everyone enjoyed the performance. A number of people came up and patted him on the head, giving him praise like "That was amazing, kid!" and "Such a cute boy with so much talent..." and "Here, for you! You earned this!"

And he could have stayed like that forever, except...his stomach began to growl. And so spotting a nearby café with a warm feeling for it, he decided to head over there, skipping with joy as the crowd that had applauded this whole time finally realized they still had work to do.

And so sitting at an empty table nearby, he immediately ordered...

"One Ice Cream Sunday Please!"

...his usual favorite, ice cream.

"Damn," Linus muttered as the scythe-weilder outside finished their dance. It was an impressive display of weaponry. Something about it that brought a tear to the eye. Linus wiped it away and hoped nobody noticed. The waitress certainly hadn't: she hadn't heard the order and was instead completely entranced by the display outside, cheeks wet with emotion.

The door jingled and in came the impressive scythe dancer, who upon closer inspection wasn't a small human but a child? A wrinkle formed between Linus's eyebrows. Children were impressionable. He needed someone skilled with weapons. This kid was alone.

Abandoning them entirely, the waitress rushed to fill the order of the scythe dancer. A scribble and a ding later, "One Ice Cream Sunday! Coming right up!" Linus resurfaced from his scheming long enough to realize his grits were not, in fact, on their way at all. Hey wait just a damn second!

"Uh...MISS?" Linus called after her, then to Cam, "Didja get a good shot?" His eyes kept wandering back to the scythe-dancer.

"Think so," Cam replied as he brought up the video for Linus to see, "A bit of a weird angle thanks to that curtain in the way, but I got it."

As he was showing Linus the playback, he also kept glancing in the direction of the redheaded boy and the amount of attention he was getting for his performance. Many of the people in the establishment were patting him on the back, complimenting him on a job well done. Most of them had wet, salty cheeks. In fact, it seemed like he had garnered the attention of the entire town as others came crawling in from the streets just to see the boy. The place was getting more packed by the minute...a little too packed for his comfort. Not that Cam had claustrophobia or anything, but he didn't like so many people in one place. It was a weird social threshold he needed to cross one day.

As for why he was seemingly unaffected by the power of that dance...well, the lens helped. A lot of his focus was spent on his technology, like always. In this instance, making sure he had the proper zoom placed on his camera and keeping a low enough angle to avoid that blasted curtain while keeping the scythe dance in frame was enough to keep him from getting too emotionally attached to the performance. In fact, he hadn't even seen the whole video yet. He was only showing Linus because he asked for it. He wasn't even watching the playback.

But he was watching the boy order an ice cream sundae and the entirety of the staff scrambling in the back kitchen to make it for him. It was almost as if he was intentionally bringing people under his spell, making them easy to manipulate and get what he wanted. But then a question remained...

What did he want?

His mindset turning more professional, Cam pulled up his phone, checking the charge to see he was at an 89% battery life, and activated the camera function again. This time, he wasn't recording a video or even taking a picture. Instead, he pulled up a simple energy radiance signature to try and pinpoint what kind of power he was pulling from. He figured the more he knew about this boy's make-up, the better chance he could find a motive. He simply needed to know everything he could about him before he dared attempt conversation.

But his brow furrowed slightly in confusion and his eyes pulled up a questioning look at what he saw. The way the technology worked, it pulled up a heat signature from the life form and started scanning for anomalies, applying the proper energy filters until it landed on the one that actually showed something. Even standard humans with no impressive abilities had a standard heat signature as their body was silhouetted in a light blue aura. But this boy...

This boy gave off nothing.

No heat reading. No energy supplement. No apparition in human form or anything of the sort. The camera told him this boy basically didn't exist, but even ghosts had an ectoplasmic tint shadowing their body as that was one of the filters.

It was like he was a dead man walking.

"Huh..." Cam verbally claimed his puzzled demeanor as he held the phone in front of Linus for him to see, "He doesn't put off anything. No energy, no life reading. Not even a pulse."

Where does his power come from?

Eventually the waitress returned with CR's dessert while mentioning it was on the house, and so he began to eat. It wasn't even normal sized, but jumbo sized. And he was devouring it like it was nothing. As CR started to finally notice the two people staring at him, the waitress who came back to supposedly take their orders focused more on CR instead, and broke the ice.

"How did you learn that...it was so...moving..."

CR looked at the woman, and subsequently the two others, and just smiled in a way that radiated innocence.

"Well, I guess it's part of the dance. It communicates the concept...I guess is the best explanation. Some might call it magic, but it's not. There is not really a word for it. As I dance, the concept gets communicated to those nearby. It doesn't force or manipulate people, it doesn't use mana. It simply is. The concept for that dance is celebrating the lives that people lived, as their essence is born again into the life of the new generation. It's...sad, but a happy song also. It's happiness being formed from sadness, might be the best way to describe it. I probably am not describing it the best, but that is the best answer I could give".

And after that, he took another bite and finished the ice cream.

"Can I get another, please?"

"Sure!" She said, running off again. "Another jumbo ice cream Sunday, on the house!"

And she forgot about the other two again.

Linus grunted and scooted his way out and around, over to the scythe weilding kid. He motioned for Cam to follow. The pirate had an idea. Linus pushed his way through the crowds until he fell into CR's booth.

"Eyyyy," Linus grinned at CR and made room for Cam, "That looks good."

Cam listened closely while the redhead provided an explanation to the dance and how it worked, but was a bit skeptical of it. No force...no energy relay...no mana...just compassion and the purity of the movements themselves. It just...seemed a bit too far-fetched to qualify as the answer to the question the waitress asked. But then again, he didn't know exactly how this civilization dealt in dances of that magnitude and skill. And Cam was uniquely immune to it. He couldn't speak for Linus as he wasn't paying attention to him, but a dude with a hard exterior like the one this man presented himself with, he couldn't see a tear brimming there.

Perhaps it was possible.

Only one way to find out, he thought. But Linus was quicker to the draw as he got up from the table and motioned for Cam to follow. He was a little hesitant to approach, given what little he did know, but he knew the best way to obtain information was from the source itself. Examination from afar wouldn't cut it.

He took a seat on Linus's right, but didn't say anything. He would let Linus make the first interactions.

CR just looked at the two who came over, and shrugged.

"But like I said, I am not the best at explaining it...or maybe, there are no words that exist to explain it...how would one explain memory to someone who holds no memory, or sound to one who cannot hear....its kind of like, that difficult question. Well, each 'Concept' can hold a different meaning for people, and even the same 'concept' may hold a difference in meaning for two different people. That dance holds more power in those that have experienced loss, so that was probably why most of the people that approached were adults or the elderly".

After explaining a bit more, CR then proceeded to continue to devour the ice cream, which Linus seemed to show interest in.

"It's very good! Ice cream is the core essence of life! Truly, without the existence of this perfect food, the universe would not be as great as it is! With ice cream, we shall forever...mhgfgmhmhm....gulp....forever have hope, prosperity, and joy!"

And then, he added....

"...which is why theft of ice cream from me is punishable by death..."

...something really scary at the end.

Linus slowly moved his eyes from the waitress's back to the sundae. They slipped slowly up the dripping deliciousness, landing firmly on the gobbling mouth of the scythe twirler. He watched, unblinkingly so, as the kid all but inhaled the ice cream.

"Yeah yeah," Linus waved a hand, never losing eye contact with the ice-cream, "ice cream's super ehyaah...important, eh. Suppose you've another round comin yeah? Suppose you don' mind adding one on ya bill and i'll throw ya the cash for it, eh?"

Cam shrugged, the explanation of the dance going over his head, "Sure...I guess that sounds fair." He also dismissed the tone change as an attempt at a lighthearted joke. which made more sense in the bounty hunter's rationale, despite having seen a lot.

What was grabbing his attention, in an amusing way, was watching Linus eye down that ice cream sundae as if it was the last thing of pleasure that existed in this world. He put his head down in laughter as Linus began to try and be coy about the redhead ordering him some ice cream or grits or a sandwich or anything that could possibly sate his stomach. In response, Cam leaned across the bar and broke the ice with the boy by giving it to him straight.

"I think he's jealous that you got the waitress's attention before he could order and has been starving ever since," he said, a smile escaping his lips. "It's up to you whether or not you can save his life right here and now," he added in fake dramatic fashion.

Crimson continued to eat the ice cream until he finished, at which point....

"AHHHHH! I just realized we have not introduced ourselves yet!"

One of the most common manners had totally escaped him.

"My name is Crimson! Crimson Reaper! It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Crimson just smiled like nothing was wrong, and extended his hand to shake. It appeared he was genuinely nice, but even that might be misinterpreted. Cause if you squeezes his hand too tightly, he might do the same back...and accidentally crush it.

His smile was one hundred percent innocent though as well.

"Oh...I see...well, I just finished this one, so she should be back soon..."

No sooner did he say that, did the waitress appear.

"Gigas Machina cloaked and ready to go".

"All food is prepared and ready!"

"Extra mana reserves are set and ready".

Akio' three maid reported in, as Akio prepared for the opening entrance show. This was all a part of the plan after all, but he decided to wait for a few people and the cameras to show up first. He wasn't particularly submissive or patronizing, but no way was he going to deny Dae some camera time. That would make things more difficult for him after all.

And it was during this time, two others were arriving. The first from an interdimensional portal opened up like a cut mark. He stepped out with red hair, a large black coat way too big for him that went down to his knees, black pants, a red shirt, and bright red sneakers. He also had Crimson eyes, and held a Crimson colored scythe in his hands that looked bigger then him, but he held it with no problems.

At first, one might think he would be turned away for his attire...until he showed him a certain ID, and the bouncer himself, along with anyone else, noticed the quality and design in his clothing. His ID stated this seemingly eight year old boy to actually be an Eldritch being, the son of the very concept of death, above all gods, beings, able to kill even true immortals. As they existed outside the normal universe or even Multiverse, it was possible their idea of attire would be different or that their "clothing" was actually a part of their form.

But even if this was ignored, anyone who paid attention to his clothing would notice it was formal attire, as they saw the patterns and craftsmanship. In fact, they might start to think it was some of the highest quality clothing they had ever seen. It was truly incredible, holding great detail into the form and elements expected in formal wear.

"Yay! We made it on time!"

"Hey, don't be too loud! You will disrupt everyone Crimson!"

Suddenly another being came out of the portal...and it was a young boy, but older then Crimson by a few years. He had white hair and red eyes, like those reported to have been appearing in the area out of seemingly nowhere lately. He was dressed in a seemingly normal tux, but it was clear the level of quality was equal to Crimson's.

Ivera had just started a private investigation business, and his first job...was to uncover any real plots of the vampires if they had ulterior motives. He was also asked to babysit Crimson, as the job came from his father. And when the concept of death itself given consciousness, an Eldritch being older then time itself, if it even has a concept of time, gives you a job, you very damn well take it, especially when you still get paid.

He showed the bouncer their invites, and between the official invites, the quality of their clothes, and the fact one was Death's son, he let them in without any hassle.

Getting reports of others arriving, Akio turned to face the others.

"Thank you for the compliments, but that was nothing. I will get to you all in a sec, but first...allow me to show you something truly amazing".

Akio turned out to the door, and having given Daemala enough time he figured, immediately swung the doors open to invite them in...

...when suddenly two dragons made of pure energy and lightning shot out from behind him at the crowds and the guests! Yet seconds later, right before impact, they exploded into a beautiful cloud of lights which then raced through the crowd, not touching anyone but swirling through them as a smoke trail, before "exploding" once more into a large display of lights that everyone had become a part of. Simply letting them watch it is one thing, but Akio made them part of the display, without harming anyone. Furthermore that move would usually make a magic user feel some stress or strain, but Akio looked fine...and he also looked unfinished...

He raised his hands, and suddenly fireworks shot out from behind him, appearing from nowhere, and radiating him in it while giving everyone a close up view. But even more, they then blended and turned, becoming a pathway of lights that led up to the door.

"Welcome one, welcome all! I hope you will enjoy our food and entertainment tonight! My name is Akio Revela, one of your hosts this evening!"

Both of the werewolves whistled softly in amazement. There was no other way to put it as they watched the amazing displays of lights and fireworks. Carnidine taking a puff from his pipe, and as he let out the smoke from his mouth, it changed into a small rainbow of different colors. Nothing flashy, not something that most people would even pay attention to. "Well, to each their own style I guess." He muttered under his breath. Not being one for most flashy types of magic, he shrugged it off seeing as it was a special event. "Now lets just hope that the cameras don't focus on either of us, yes?"

Temperance had gotten caught up in the excitement. Cheering along with most of the crowd as the fireworks and dragons of light and smoke went everywhere. Like a child watching in wonder as a fair walked passed them. Her blue eyes looking all around in an attempt to catch it all.

Carn sighed a bit but gave a half smile as puffed from his pipe again. Making sure not to blow any smoke into other people's faces. He didn't want to be rude after all. Watching Temperance from the top of his glasses, wanting to make sure she didn't get into trouble as they slowly walked inside to enjoy the food and other entertainment.

Ondona clapped her hands at the spectacle in the air. Fireworks, such a simple but wonderful display. As they lit up the night sky her attention soon returned to the many guests arriving. Dragons, more people human or not. This party was now getting into full swing.

As she looked around, her butler got her attention. "Would you like tea? Or would you like the refreshment provided here? There seems to be a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages." He spoke as he motioned to the table.

"Oh, just tea would be nice...Actually, lets make things special. Alcoholic tea would be delightful Royka." Ondona spoke with a grateful nod as her butler nodded before suddenly vanishing.

Maybe she should have picked wine? No need, she never did well with heavily alcoholic things. Still, the crowd was lively, the entertainment was good, and the guests were all varied. She decided to take a seat on the sides to watch. No need to tire herself out standing around. Who knows, there could be a dance.

This was so exciting!Boo had been on her own for so long and in one evening she had met Vance, gone for a ride on his ship, and arrived at ball! The bubblegum ping ball gown Vance gave the cat sized girl was a far cry from the dirty, ragged tunic she had been wearing when they met. Granted, she was still bare foot, but the length of the gown should hide that well enough. Boo managed to brush most of the knots out of her unruly pink hair so, aside from a little dirt on her cheek, she actually looked like she belonged here. Or, at the verey least, it would be hard to guess that Vance had plucked her off the street mere hours ago.

Boo hitched a ride on Vance's shoulder as they made their way inside. Big, violet eyes scanning the party with excitement. There seemed to be a particular fuss made about one ladies arrival "Vance-kun look! A princess! And a dragon! Look! Maybe She'll get kidnapped and we can save her! What'cha think?" If Vance didn't stop her Boo would climb right onto the poor man's head so that she could look at him upside down for a moment, but the miniature feline quickly returned to his shoulder.

Once introduced to the food, Boo easily hopped onto the table. At her size it was the only was she could reach anything. Then the child proceeded to load up a plate with sweets. Finally! Food! Well, Vance had said he would feed her! Still, Boo was use to having to fight and cheat for every bite. So even as she was loading up her plate, a few little cakes vanished into her bottomless bag for later; just in case. Hay, everyone needs to eat!

Destin’s eyes widened in disbelief as he watched Akio’s fireworks show. He stepped toward the hall’s doors to get a better view and fetched his phone to record the event so he could watch it later. Among the crowds that had gathered to attend the ball was a towering draconian that moved with a sense of purpose into the building. Then there was the woman who had arrived in the limousine and stopped to address the denizens who had gathered there.

He could practically feel the power and importance in the air. These were all people who, in many respects, seemed to be better than himself. Destin didn't intend to let that get to him, however. Clearly the people responsible for this event weren't considered with the social status of those invited if he, a newcomer, had been invited.

After a quick scan of those within and just outside Verinotte Hall, Destin inferred from her entrance that Daemala was one of the more important figures there. That's who he would approach--especially since Akio was occupied and the other two he had approached appeared to be caught up in their conversation. Destin assured that Daemala had finished speaking into the reporter's camera before he made his approach.

There was something about being in a nice outfit that made him feel like a totally different person. There was a palpable aura of confidence radiating from him as he moved past the partygoers with long strides. He swiped a champagne-filled glass from a passing platter during his approach and took a swig.

"Nice ride. How much did that run you for?" Destin asked, gesturing toward the limousine that had just begun to pull away.

The smell of Magic in the air turned Irral's head towards Akio, Glowing, Golden eyes tinged with purple focusing on the boyish Vampire hastily. As he approached, Irral did not change his appearance nor stance; doing so would cause his body to implode upon itself by trying to contain his sheer magic power; and that would cause half the continent to be wiped entirely in the ensuing explosion.

Kneeling to sort of level with the boyish Vampire, Irral looked him in the eyes; looking particularly at that wand in his hands. It had a familiar smell to it; a familiar feeling. Irral slowly gestured to the wand, and the thing would likely gently vibrate as he approached it, magic power colliding with Magic power the closer he got. Irral paused for a second before moving his hand away, looking to the boy once more.

"Tell me, Vampire. Where did you acquire this ... Wand?" he asked, a low rumble echoing in his throat as he spoke, his draconian pupils narrowing into slits as he took in the sight. "And do you know just what it is?" he asked. His voice rumbled forth; not human, vampire, or most other mythical creature the boyish Vampire before him would likely be familiar with. It was a hearty, throaty bass that conveyed wisdom and unfathomable power.

Akio was first visited not by the boy that send shivers down his spine, with red hair and holding that scythe, nor was it his companion...but, it was the dragon with the golden, glowing eyes. However, Akio stood there, even as he spoke, with a smile that had not changed since he finished. The news crews as well went up and broadcasted this, Akio remaining unphased even when confronted by a large being that faced him. Although he had the appearance of a human, Akio recognized the eyes. He was...familiar, with dragons.

And so, while remaining unphased, but also without any sign of a challenge, Akio...conversed normally.

"I acquired it from a small village over one thousand years ago. Everyone thought it was worthless, but that was because they made a misconception I cant help but notice you didn't. They all thought it was a staff, but you just recognized it as a wand just now correct? Because a requirement of use is 'Recognizing it as a wand', it was deemed junk and left behind in a village, where I found it. As for what it is, of course I know. Using something for one thousand years, without learning what it is, would be a fool's decision, don't you agree?"

Akio just talked to him casually, like he was just another man on the street. Like the person who asked you about the morning paper while on the bus. Friendly, but not intimate. Different, but not antagonistic.

"May I ask for your name? I did already introduce myself, after all".

Meanwhile, the two others entered with everyone else, and CR immediately ran up to the werewolves.

"Hey, guys! I gotta know, how are you not hot wearing all those layers?!"

CR's eyes could see them as human, but he could also "see" their "true forms" as well. As he was born from not just the concept of death, but also the concept of life, he could "see" the "life" within people. Hence, he could understand what they were, and thought with the layers of fur they had, wearing the stuffy suits would be hot and irritating.

ANd, if looked at, he seemed to possess a childlike innocence, that no one seemed to mind the fact he was still carrying a scythe....but, it was not being held in a way to imply use of any kind, so there was that.

"Also, do you know where the ice cream is and other snacks?!"

Meanwhile, Ivera was monitoring CR from a distance, while looking around at the others. Eventually, his eyes first rested on Daemala, as he knew she was one of the big shots. He also paid attention to Akio, but there were others who drew his interest...such as Ondona.

"Ivera Rixy, nice to meet you. What brings you to this party?"

Although the boy looked young, he was very well dressed and acted pretty mature when he introduced himself, following all proper etiquette. Indeed, out of everyone, Ivera might be one of the few that fit in the most.

Both Carnidine and Temperance looked at CR in confusion."W-what do you mean exactly?" The female asked in confusion.

Carnidine regained his composure as he realized the nature of the question."For me, I guess its a bit uncomfortable, but at the same time, what I normally wear wouldn't be appropriate, so I just deal with it like anyone else would."

All of a sudden it was like a switch flipped in Temperance's head."Oh....OH! I see! I'm sorry! I um....This feels normal to me I guess....Although I'm a bit different when it comes to....that....if you catch my meaning." She said. Quickly looking over at the food table."W-why don't I get us some drinks? Would you like anything....sir?" She asked the one who had ran up to them. Her eyes moving up and down as she checked the person out. If for no other reason than habit to make sure they weren't going to hurt her.

Carnidine took another puff of his pipe, the smoke flowing around him for a couple seconds before disipating high up in the air. As not to bother the other patrons."Temp....I'll have a glass of white wine if thats alright." The girl nodded, waiting for a response from the other person.

Midgra had seen fancy places before in his travels, but never anything quite as fancy as this. Some sort of ball, regarding peace... Blah Blah. There must be so much in there to... Well, he would perhaps get to that later. One piece of silverware from this ball could probably feed him for a week! But before he could let himself get distracted, he had to get inside. He found it surprisingly easy, slipping behind a crowd of people and scooting inside. His eye looked up at the ceiling, which seemed to be miles away. Now he was inside he wandered away from his cover, dodging larger patrons. His nose picked up a heavenly smell, and Midgra couldn't help but follow it over to the table full of appetizers and finger foods. While he wanted to sprint over and start to shovel everything is sight down his face, he tried his best to hobble over there with dignity, acting like he knew some of the patrons, pointing and smiling at one, winking and doing the finger guns to another. Perfect.

He approached the table, all the food being at about eye level. Somehow, it still felt crazy that he had gotten in with so little trouble. No mind to that however. An eager smile began to curl upon his lips as his hand slowly reached for a handful of expensive looking finger sandwiches, toothpicks and all.

The sound of thundering footsteps marching in sync could also be heard...

Confetti, massive paper dragons, and the center of it all, a massive platform with Taiko drummers playing a hearty beat, in step to the marching soldiers, the dancing costumed people, and the swaying paper dragon that weaved and bobbed all about the formations of paraders.

Seated atop a large float, before a massive O-daiko the size of a small house was the Emperor, Shimizu Takayama of the Taiyou Empire. His Peace tour had taken him through Wing City, putting on a show for the denizens of the city to enjoy as he moved through the city streets.

His tour had now taken him to Verinotte Hollow, where the Second Ball of Chaos was taking place. His eyes set upon Verinotte Hall as his float slowly started to make it's approach, though by now the constant drumming had become deafening, and the men behind him persevered all day with constant drumming, it could be described as a near superhuman effort.

There was a line of limousines in front of him, the various guests being dropped off for the ball of Chaos, Shimizu's parade was next in line, while people carried on, to the sound of drums, traditional flutes, and the chants of the Imperial Warriors.

"Subete teishi!" The Grand Marshal called out, and it all stopped, right in front of the grand hall.

In a booming voice, addressing the guests of the Ball, the Grand Marshall called out.

"Ten'nōheika, Shimizu Takayama, kangei shite kudasai!"

"Please welcome, His Imperial Majesty, Shimizu Takayama!"

Shimizu slowly stood up, adorned from head to toe in a formal black sokutai, an extremely complex adornment of robes, sashes, which bore the crest of the Imperial Family, and his hair was done up in the traditional Chonmage style. Such fluff, and pomp was foreign to the young Shimizu, but never the less he tried his best to wear it with dignity.

Now that the procession had come to a stop before the Hall, and the formations of Taiyou Soldiers went to parade rest, Shimizu slowly rose from his throne, alone with his two sisters, Aeka, and Yukiko. Like Shimizu they were garbed from head to toe in formal Kimono, their faces done up in stark, porcelain white makeup, red lipstick in the traditional style, and their hair styled to match their noble status.

A small set of stairs was placed near their float, and Shimizu moved to step down first, followed by his Eldest sister, and Aeka last. They kept their gazes downward, while Shimizu kept his forward, once on the ground, rose petals were tossed at their feet leading up the marble stairs.

Step by step he moved, while his sisters remained behind him.
