The door of the tavern opened once again, revealing a pale looking young girl around seventeen of age, wearing a short tank top, leaving her midriff exposed, her pants secured with various equipment, including a holster for a pretty large gun. Her long blonde hair reached her waist, and a smile on her face. She entered the tavern, her combat boots clomping against the floor as she took a seat nearby, looking around, as if searching for someone.

"Oh, a gentleman, looking out for a woman in over her head, how sweet," she placed her cigarette between her lips and removed her hat, not initially looking at Casey. She tossed her satin gloves into the top hat and set it down upside down so they didn't spill out. "Don't worry," she tapped a little ash out and picked up the glass with a free hand, the olive coloration of the drink fading at her touch until it is as grey scale as she is. "Don't worry, I'm a big girl." She sipped her drink as she looked over the rim of the glass with her deep bedroom eyes. She glanced towards the door as a new person clomped into the room. Hmm, both the girl and the guy were new to her. Tonight was looking like a good night.

Casey gave a smile, “It’s how my mother raised me, knight in shining armour and whatnot.” That was a lie, but so was half of what he said. He’d learned, somewhere in his travels, that a little mysteriousness and a lot of sweet lies tended to do better than boring truths and dull depictions. Everything needed a little extra umph to it. He noticed her unnatural color, but said nothing of it, instead tapping the bar, “I’ll take a Rum Buck.” His eyes fell over her again, and he pursed his lips. He was unsure whether she was human or not… it was often hard to tell with people here, but she was still attractive. He couldn’t say aliens or whatnot were really the most morally compromising things he could’ve… associated with, in a sexual manner. That brought a smirk to his face, and he looked back ahead of himself. “Does this “big girl” have a name?”

Curly looked over at Casey and Dietrich. Her eyebrow seemed to quirk at how the woman looked. She was completely black and white, like she just popped out of an old movie! Of course, she wasn't in a position to talk about other people's appearance. After all, she herself looked like she was deathly ill from her skin tone. She tapped her foot on the floor, frowning... she didn't think that her old friend was in this town either... so where was he? Curly let out a small sigh, slumping a bit in her chair.

"Everyone around here calls me M," she smiled a little. "Well, those that don't try and call me by," she smiled and gave a soft wolf whistle through her teeth. "But I have standards after all," she sipped her drink and looked over at the band. There were a few additions which made her frown for a moment. An electric guitar and electric base guitar were among those playing the jazz rhythms. She wasn't used to singing with those instruments present, but this could be said to be their era now, not hers. And she was certainly willing to learn. She wasn't going to get stuck like she did before. So she closed her eyes for a moment as she sipped her drink and let the music wash over her. "How about you, stranger?" She murmured after a moment and looked at Casey. "What do they call you?"

Casey’s smile dimpled his cheeks as it widened, “Not everyone was raised with class, unfortunately, but there are a few of us.” There was a charming twinkle that crossed his brown eyes, one he’d learned to perfect in his previous experiences. He recognized this woman was clearly out of his league, definitely out of his era, but he loved a challenge all the same. Casey’s drink arrived after a moment and he took a gulp of it, and exaggeratedly cool ahhh parting his lips as he swallowed it. “Casey.” He would’ve taken her hand, had it not been on her glass, and instead stood to give a slight bow, “Casey Ratchett, to be exact. Pleased to meet you, M.”

Curly heard the two talking, her blue eyes looking over at the two, listening in on the conversation, mildly curious about the woman. Of course, she wasn't going to barge in on them! That would be rude! The android just watched the two, leaning over on her table, her head being supported by her hand, tapping her feet a bit to the music.

"Ratchett," she nodded and took his hand in hers. Her skin soft as the satin gloves she had taken off moments ago. "Appropriate for someone entirely lacking in the class that you claim to espouse." His sigh at the taste of the drink was uncouth and unnecessary, the sort of thing someone tried to do when they were forcing an impression. She was teasing him somewhat, it was in her nature to play hard to get, nothing good was every easy, and she was very good. She listened to the music for a few moments and took a last drag on her cigarette before stubbing it out. "If you will pardon me, I have an appointment with a microphone." She left her hat and gloves at the bar but took her drink with her towards the stage. the bartender took her hat and set it behind the bar where it would be undisturbed.

As M stepped up onto the stage the band quieted down. She picked up a microphone as the lights turned on her, bringing the sharp contrast of her coloration into focus. "Hello, I'm M. I'll be your entertainment for the evening. Along with these lovely gentlemen," she waved a hand at the rest of the band who each took a bow. They are almost like her, black and white and dressed well. But they lack the sharp definition that M has, instead they are vague images that are clearly musicians, but seem to lack personality.

"Heh heh heh... this will be quite a show, wouldn't you agree?" a voice suddenly spoke up from behind Casey... revealing a strange looking man there, wearing a frog mask, a large backpack safely secured on his back, various things sticking out of it, from baseball bats, to bags of chips. ...WELL... this is different... and... was he there before?

Casey just sort of sat there for a moment, he thought he had at least another few minutes of talking time before that shot down came along—because it always did—but he couldn’t say he was surprised. He just chuckled and returned to his drink, “Well played, M.” He breathed in the smoke from her cigar, clearing his throat shortly after. He hated smoke and smoking, really, but some people were just allured to it for whatever reason. He attributed hers maybe to her time, it was glamorous to smoke at a time… But it was really a disease ridden practice… Though he participated in one nearly similar on that front.

He watched her as she took the microphone, ordering another drink before he took a table near a younger looking woman, closer to the stage. Entertainment was just what he was looking for.

M nodded to the band and they started to play a soft piece. Her voice and soft accent made it easy for people to fall in love with her voice and her dusky bedroom eyes cast around the room and through she couldn't see well against the stage lights, she could still make out the general forms of people and tried to show making eye contact with a number of them, male, female, between, it didn't much matter to her whom she graced with her gaze. The players in the band smiled as they played: Baby I'm a fool.

Curly watched as M sang, a small smile on her face as she watched her sing. Well... she didn't find her friend, but at least she wasn't bored out of her mind... that's a plus, right?

Casey was impressed with her style and choice of music, and he watched in silent admiration of her performance. It was refreshing compared to the loud, party music he was used to. He was slightly taken aback by the voice from behind him, and turned around shortly, “Ah, yeah. She’s beautiful, style and voice.” Not to mention her physical appearance... Any guy'd be happy to have that, he was sure. Then again, she didn't seem to be interested in that sort of thing. Didn’t mean he couldn’t flirt, anyway. Casey took a second glance at the man, “What… what are you? If you don’t mind me asking, that is.”

M smiled and the song finished. "A nice classic to start things. But I've been listening to music that was... well, lets call it after my time. I think that you might like what I've found," she nods to the band who laughs a little as they start it up. The rhythm from the guitar a bit familiar, but hard to place. "Sweet dreams are Made of these..." Some of the audience laughs as she takes up the familiar lyrics. She grins and continues with the song, her breathy accented voice clearly reaching everyone in the bar without effort, she probably doesn't even need the microphone.

Ulrich Paternosta stepped into the warm interior of the tavern. He gave it a quick scan and grunted. She wasn't anywhere in sight; good. There was something off with Ms. Tauvyr as of late. More off than usual.

Stone and Boyle followed in shortly after. The pair of vampires sort of taking in the sights of a rather rich looking drinking hole. "Nice. Nice. Hey Stones! They got the nice chairs! Take a peep at them!" Boyles made his way over to a table. A chair with rich velvet cushions that he ran along his hand. "Look at that. Feel that. Good right?"

Stones followed in not even giving the chair a look.

"Ish fine." He said bluntly. He moved to the sight. Taking in a strong nostril fill of something. Hm.

"That one." he pointed to a bottle behind the counter. A cup? "No. That one." The whole bottle? Okay... He uncorked it and began to drink it very greedily.

Deliveries to the Tauvyr Tavern were more regular with the new ownership of Fantasma Vineyards. The bottles were stocked and varied though many of the labels familiar some a more threatening make. Labels with letters that squirm and images with unsettling angles. One such bottle festooned with the dual masks Sock and Buskin sported others etched into the glass. Though these of anguish and horror if one should peer closer. Perhaps a warning for its label 'Thousand-Faced Wine' that said little else of its make than bottled in Fantasma Vineyards. A cigarette alit behind the bar though the embers fell first out of memory than the light of one's eyes. A bit of red ash falling in life before the eyeless grin of Ebrabbos underneath her wide brim hat and thick cloak. Long hair pours from under her hat to float past her shoulders as locks snake around her shoulders as to threaten by rising there. Though the eyes obscured beneath her hat their ill-defined shape inviting one to stare too close as they stared back. The cigarette in her mouth flared but never burnt down as she unpacked a box of wine from behind the counter.

"Careful now, " the tone lost about some unclear sarcasm, "There are so very many faces of regret that deep in a bottle of wine."

Stone and Boyle were now separated. Boyle was now at the side of Ulrich beginning to get comfortable in this soft velvet chair. A wide grin as his shark like mouth slowly blended back into a row of normal teeth. "Blimey! This is delux ain't it!?" He asked the other vampire. Before he began to speak again. "Look. The two of us are on a hunt. But not to cause trouble. Stones can be a bit violent. He comes from a violent times you know?" He told the other. "We are looking for a criminal. Or someone close to that."

Stones was at the bar. He drank half of the bottle and was surprised that the alcohol actually had some affect on him. THe huge man now turned to the stranger. He looked to her fancy hat. He nodded. "Good fashion." He told her at first. "We both know this is not wine."
