So begins...
Danielle Beckett's Story

Iviri Rixy. A boy that was a bit too short for his age, he was walking down the street. With him, he had a bag full of food and drinks, and was heading back to his hotel room. And although he was smiling, he was a bit worried about how he was going to pay Rin back for this. Because Iviri had to be the worst pickpocket, hacker, and their out of all of them, Rin had set up a bank account and regularly sent money to him. Rin tried to live not too extravagant, though the sheer amount of money Rin spared for him might make one wonder just how he got it all, though he heard from Ixa that Ixam might be helping him with hacking.
"And I bet Ivera is already set up as a private detective or something".
However the young boy's walk home was interrupted by a large arm grabbing him from the side, and yanking him right into an alleyway. He was thrown deep into its depths, and found himself stopped by a brick wall. And surrounding him was several gang members, who looked both tough and hungry.
"Alright boys, let's take everything he has. Food, money, hell I bet we could even sell him, or at least his clothes".
Iviri was already scared, as he tried to back away from them, but also his "Combat Switch" was triggered, and he began to summon up the energy to use his powers.
"And I bet Ivera is already set up as a private detective or something".
However the young boy's walk home was interrupted by a large arm grabbing him from the side, and yanking him right into an alleyway. He was thrown deep into its depths, and found himself stopped by a brick wall. And surrounding him was several gang members, who looked both tough and hungry.
"Alright boys, let's take everything he has. Food, money, hell I bet we could even sell him, or at least his clothes".
Iviri was already scared, as he tried to back away from them, but also his "Combat Switch" was triggered, and he began to summon up the energy to use his powers.
Danielle "Dani" Beckett strolled casually down the street, earbuds softly playing a rather old tune from the 1980s that her squad leader had loaded onto her Tacpad. She patted the rifle on her back out of reflex after hearing a noise coming from around a corner, and another habit clicked in her mind. She reached for a small baseball sized sphere on her belt and tossed it up in her hands a few times, before she placed it on the ground, pulled out her Tacpad, and guided the sphere to the mouth of the alley.
Well what do we have here? Dani stared at the display momentarily, taking in the image of several thugs around a small child, before she recalled the drone and took out an electronic cigarette. She used the moment that it took to inhale the mango scented vapor to go over her options. United American Republic mandates stated, since arriving in this new universe, that she was to keep interference to a minimum. Whoever wrote that horseshit can spin. That's a kid.
She took her rifle from the magnetic clamp on her exoskeleton, adjusted her baseball cap, and wheeled around the corner, rifle raised. "Hey assholes, quit messing with the pipsqueak and try me on for size!"
Well what do we have here? Dani stared at the display momentarily, taking in the image of several thugs around a small child, before she recalled the drone and took out an electronic cigarette. She used the moment that it took to inhale the mango scented vapor to go over her options. United American Republic mandates stated, since arriving in this new universe, that she was to keep interference to a minimum. Whoever wrote that horseshit can spin. That's a kid.

The men were already closing in on Iviri, with weird grabby like hands. It had psyched Iviri out enough to scare him, but it was an identifiable threat which let him slip into his combat mode. And then, at the same time, someone shouted behind them. Three of them turned around with what appeared to be some form of pulse rifle.
"Deal with that idiot! I got the....guh?!"
Suddenly, Iviri shot up and wrapped his legs around the man's head, before pulling him over Iviri and smashing him into the same wall Iviri had the displeasure of being thrown into. Iviri Tac Rixy, already knew he couldn't go easy on these guys. After all, they were strong enough to fling him from the street to the very back of the alley and make him hit a brick wall. That might kill some people. ANd then, he summoned some sort of strange glowing cube in his hand and...
"Asteroid!"
Various mini cubes disconnected from the large cube and fired at one of the gang members still standing near him, killing him instantly. The other members however seemed to deploy some sort of protective barrier, but in terms of barriers, it looked like it was very weak. This was a gang after all, one should praise them for having any barriers at all. And since they were not active from the start, they probably did not have a long lifespan either.

Dani's eyes widened, her pulse quickened. She took a deep breath, shouldered her rifle, and fired a quick burst of shots at the first shielded gangster she could find. The first five shots disrupted the shield long enough for the final three to punch into his chest, sending him flying backwards.
She ducked behind the corner and retrieved a flashbang grenade from one of her vest pockets. "You wanna give up yet?" The thought of whatever that kid was flashed around in her mind. "Either of you? I mean seriously, what the hell."

Iviri was already a bit panicked when he heard they wanted to capture him, and it had made him a bit frantic. Though, this was not displayed in his actions, showing an unusual adept mind for combat.
The leader, that saw what both the woman and kid could do, threw two grenades at each of them. Not flash either, but real.
"Damnit..."
Iviri shouted as he put down Grasshopper, which let him bounce into the air.
"I wont let myself get imprisoned again! Replica!"

Dani didn't wait for the shield to form, and instead dove away from the grenade and the newly formed shield. The explosion sounded muffled behind the shield as she stood up and picked up her dropped flashbang, stowing it in the pocket she had taken it from. She peeked back into the alley. "Hey kid, you alright? What's with...you know...all this?"
"I think they are muggers! I heard this city was rough, but since when do muggers and gang members regularly carry frag grenades?!" Iviri shouted to her as he landed next to her, having just been in the air moments ago. He also shouted something else in the air moments ago during his emotional distress, about not wanting to be imprisoned again, which would heavily imply he was once already.
Also, Dani was close enough to see at the right angle, there was a barcode on his cheek under his left eye. If one were to scan it with a device advanced enough (though, many smartphones could do it), they would suddenly get a document displayed detailing not just his age, but his subject number, clone number, confirmed powers and abilities, physical stats, various photos and videos of his training....there would also be some embarrassing medical photos in there of his latest examinations, but the scientists who did not consider him and his brothers "human" but just test subjects had done that.

Iviri immediately took cover as one of the gang members fired not a bullet, but a highly intense discharge of electricity directly at him. He then summoned up another cube. "Viper!"

They seemed to dodge successfully....until suddenly, the shots seemed to turn around, not in a circular path, but creating acute angles, and pierced them both from behind, through their weak and flimsy shields.
Also, Dani was close enough to see at the right angle, there was a barcode on his cheek under his left eye. After a moment, she calmed down and reloaded her rifle, before slinging it onto her back. She looked into the boy's eyes as she crossed her arms over her chest, the motors in her exoskeleton letting out a soft whir as they moved.

"Is this really now the time for introductions gun lady?!"
Iviri failed to understand what she was asking for the second part.
"A group of thugs tried to attack me after I had bought groceries and was heading home..." he said, lifting up the bag he had kept in his hand this whole time, shrugging as he summoned a pistol and just began firing Asteroid shots from it, shooting the gang members from behind cover.
"That is what the hell all of this is! An attempted mugging!"

"Apparently that's all of them. So...you want me to walk you home or something? I mean, a shootout between some thugs, a...whatever the hell you are...and a member of a military force that technically isn't supposed to exist here is sure to draw attention."
"Ah, okay Dani. And...uhhh...." Iviri really didn't know what to do. On one hand, this woman was a stranger he only just met. And if she walked him home, it might make her learn he lives alone. He was not sure what to do...
But in that moment, something fell on him. It was some random stuff you would find in the gutter, dirty but not that disgusting. Iviri looked up, and saw that some shots from them that ricocheted off shields had pierced the gutter and caused the unfortunate situation.
"I...I guess...if it means getting home quicker, yeah lets go".
Iviri also had a reason to take her away. If she was found by the police, asked questions, she might talk about him publicly. He wanted to avoid being publicly recognized as much as possible, so he decided to take this route.
"And I am human, by the way! Just because I have powers doesn't mean I am not human!"

Iviri had just manged to start walking towards his house...when she asked that question. it was possibly the question they all dread getting asked, but was super obvious even though they were trying to be discreet.

"I mean....wh...why would you ask something like that....you....your weird!"
Iviri started to walk home faster, while panicking. The sun was starting to go down, and Iviri kind of wanted to get home and eat something. He was getting really hungry.
"I am one hundred percent human!"

Not missing a beat, she tapped an invisible menu that only ARES equipped soldiers could see, and set her body cam to record everything from here out, and ensured that footage of the encounter was saved. Command would want to see this. That said, she felt bad for the kid, and decided to mute the microphone and scrub the audio. She grabbed a canteen from her belt and held it out to him. "Water?"

Of course since details about him being a clone was in there, that would already be explained.
Though, someone developing such "weapons" like them definently had no good intentions in mind, and it could be easily stated that this was a bad omen.

"Should be right up here..." Iviri said, having failed to realize he probably shouldn't lead people he just met today right to his front door.
"Y...yeah! I am surely sure!" Iviri said, obviously lying. It was as if the mere concept of lying was difficult for him to achieve. He then proceeded to increase his pace a little, heading down a few more streets after this one as he headed towards his apartment. "After all, I have a lot of brothers! "Sorry. It's just, I have not been free very long...uhh, from the place I was raised, so I can get a little nervous sometimes".

"My brothers always warn me to be careful in case bad people to try and kidnap me, so I guess I get overly cautious" he added as he pressed his thumb on the lock as he turned the key, and oddly enough looked at the peephole for his door...which looked a bit different from the others....

"Understandable..." She yawned, as her earpiece chirped. She tapped the earpiece and looked at her watch. "Yeah, I'm fine, just taking care of something."
Iviri opened the door, and brought in the groceries he had bought at the very beginning of this long day. He took his shoes off by the door, since he did not want to track dirt in, and he traveled across the room. It was not a very big apartment. In fact, after the entrance was a single room that appeared to have a small kitchen, dining table, and living room setup, with a couch and TV. There were two doors off to the side, but it looked like Iviri mainly used the couch to sleep if one noticed the blanket at the side.
If one were to look in there, they would understand why though. While there was other bedroom like furniture, the mattress was missing for some reason. And then, the other door had to be the bathroom. The bathroom was still well kept, and very clean, though it only featured a toilet and a sink, with a notice taped to the wall that said showers and baths could be taken downstairs, in the bathhouse, for some money, and that if they wanted to complain, complain to the meth dealers that were using the bathtubs for that.
"Ah, don't worry about that. It's from a few years ago, apparently. They just don't fix it because apparently it lowered crime in the area, and because it raised their profits by a little. Well, its not expensive, so its okay".
Iviri mentioned that to her as he put the groceries away, and took off the shirt he had gotten dirty from fighting. He almost accidentally pulled off the undershirt underneath, which caused some of the scars on his back to get exposed...they were not that visible, but anyone with experience would realize he went through hell...and maybe had organs replaced. "So...that's some pretty hefty security," she looked at the lock and made sure her bodycam got a good look. Her goal, and the goal of her team on this world, or rather, in this universe, was to observe and compile a report for Command, who would then figure out what to do next. Her stunt in the alley wasn't uncalled for, but it would get someone's attention.
"Nice place, though," she looked down at her boots. "I can't take my boots off, by the way. It'd be a pain in the ass if I had to go quickly."
Dani tapped at a display that would be invisible to Iviri, since he wasn't equipped with an ARES. She sent a message to command that she was sorry for the delay, had some complications, and would send a full report when she returned to their safehouse. She looked up from the display to Iviri, before she tapped the send icon.
"Nice place, though," she looked down at her boots. "I can't take my boots off, by the way. It'd be a pain in the ass if I had to go quickly."
Dani tapped at a display that would be invisible to Iviri, since he wasn't equipped with an ARES. She sent a message to command that she was sorry for the delay, had some complications, and would send a full report when she returned to their safehouse. She looked up from the display to Iviri, before she tapped the send icon.
"Gotta be, just in case. And that's fine. Anyways, well, the walls are reinforced with shielding too, ever since I moved in....are you new to the area? You ask a lot of questions, but your combat was quite high, so I thought you were a local?"
Iviri this whole time thought she was local or something, so failed to realize that she was not from around here...and then he sort of realized some of her questions from before.
"Oooh, I think I understand some things now....wow, I am an idiot! I totally misinterpreted your questions" he mentioned, before finally turning back towards her. "Oh, and uhhhh.....huh....I just realized your the first guest I have had over....uhhh...what to do....so, what are you going to do now?"

"Sure, what are you gonna make?" She awkwardly sat down on the couch, her frame whirring as it moved with her. She slipped out a phone from her pocket and quickly tapped an app that Intelligence had installed, to explain to the reader what the United American Republic was, who Dani was, and what her purpose was. Most of it was a cover story, but all of it had varying degrees of truth.
She was part of an expeditionary force sent to this universe after an interdimensional portal was found on one of the UAR's many mining colonies. Dani was a member of the Air Force, as part of what was referred to as a Pathfinder team, sent to exotic locales to see if the UAR could make anything of what was there.

Iviri was totally panicking how to handle his first houseguest, so he quickly gave her some soda while taking the phone to read through it. It looked like a reasonable story, he wondered if his brother Ivera would have some input for this. Ivera was essentially "I see....so everything is all well and good. Ah! Wait! Which interdimensional vortex did you come out of? I heard there was one by the gates, three in the plaza, four on main street, eight in a place called Gambits, three in the business sector not under private use, and there might be more, but those are the ones I heard about...I hope I was not lied to..."
He then looked over some things, while turning on the TV, which showed the news about how a group of Gundams recently destroyed a large giant monster heading towards the city. The news questioned if it was a hoax of course, to improve the image of Gundams again, but Iviri didn't bother to keep up with that stuff.

"So, your like an envoy? Wait...hold on, your not a diplomat are you?! I totally did not get a diplomat involved in a shoot out with street thugs right?!"

She took a sip of soda and looked at her ARES display, tapping at the menu a few times and going over some messages that the other Pathfinders sent. Reports of creatures out in the mountainous regions and magic users in the city. She glossed over something about the SEALs finding a military base. Those guys bored her. "I dunno where we came out of. It was in a mountainous region."

"Ah, outside the city then...I would be careful there, some mountainous areas have like, these huge freaking beasts that can swallow you whole!" he said, emphasizing as he checked through some more information, before handing the phone back. "And I mean, some really scary things! Right outside the lab, a nest of dragons! What the hell! How did they constantly get past that?! Did we take the wrong route or something?!"
Iviri didn't even notice the slipup in his wording, possibly because he was annoyed at the dragons still.
"Though, it did look like one of the smaller ones was missing. We, we managed to avoid the bigger ones".
He then looked over at Replica, who had flown through the window.
"Wasn't that nest near some mountains?"
"It was at the foot of the mountain. And I am not sure those things are small enough to be classified as Dragons".
"Oh. Anyways, yeah. Those are Gundams. You know about them? They were created here in Wing City. I hear they still produce quite a number in a few places, building and storing them in secret or something. Anyways, how do you know about them?"
