Description
Personality
he is dark and a little on the evil side, though he is not a villain, one could say he is an anti hero of sorts although he takes great lengths to cover that up. he does have a soft side but he has it buried deep. he hates bright places and warmth, preferring it to be cold and dim. his strength is actually physically sapped in warm weather although he can take it, but in hot weather he is much weaker. he is much more comfortable in cold weather, the colder the better. he is fine even in below freezing weather even with ice forming on his clothes and hair, however he can freeze to death if it is too cold, perhaps -1 degrees.
Equipment
he carries twin katanas and a pistol. he only uses the pistol as a last resort, he is not afraid of killing he just doesn't want to waste bullets, he is very skilled with the katanas and many other weapons. he also can control ice but not water. he can make water freeze if it isn't too hot. he cannot however freeze blood, though he seeks to learn how.
History
i don't have much of a history for him. he lived in the alps to the north in his world. he would travel between the mountains and frozen northern tundras. he lived along most of the time although he often would help the robbers who lived in the mountains and on the steeps to raid towns in the south, but only during the winter because summer is too warm for him, he is at his strongest in the winter at night. otherwise he wandered the mountains and tundra alone
he somehow ended up in the Multiverse, im not sure how yet.
not much is really known beyond what is written here (aka i haven't figured this character out yet)

Darius Silvernight's Story

Darius Silvernight walked into the bar and looked around, certainly strange company but he had gotten used to it since coming here. he himself wasn't normal anyways, being part werewolf. he stiffened a bit when he noticed a vampire but he ignored it. as long as no one messed with him all would be well, he just wanted a drink. he went to a booth and ordered a drink, some kind of wine. being from another world he didn't recognize much from this one. he tasted the wine, not the best but it was good enough for now. he scanned the place, he saw a guy with black wings, a vampire and a frightened looking girl. he sipped his wine some more.
Darius had finished the first glass and was on his second, he decided he would leave once he finished, he was looking for someone and he had no time to lose. but someone else caught his eye,Selmaina, a girl in black, with black hair and yellow eyes much like his own. surely yellow eyes isn't too uncommon for a place like this but the dark air about her felt slightly familiar, she seemed quite mysterious and dark, which caught his interest, he glanced at her wonder if she'd notice. normally he stayed alone but really what did he have to lose?
Darius got up and left his half finished glass on the table and went over to where the girl was. "hello, i couldn't help but notice you" he said "my name is Darius, you look familiar but im sure we haven't met, where are you from?" she really didn't look familiar to him of course, but he was curious nonetheless, and the tavern was quite uneventful, might as well meet a couple people at least. he missed the old days, much more exciting.
Darius looked around when he noticed the strange black creature appeared in the tavern. what was it? he wondered "just a moment" he said to the girl and went to go check it out. his hand went almost instictively to one of his sword hilts. if this thing meant to cause trouble he'd be more than happy to get rid of it. it seemed to be scanning the room looking for something and was...talking on the phone? well he'd nearly seen it all he thought, but not quite. he was standing a couple yards away close enough to get a good look and close enough to attack if he needed to. he was always weary of monsters, it didn't help he was bored either.
Darius continued to stare at the creature, idly wondering how much liquid it had in it and if it could be frozen, but he decided it wasn't really worth it (or maybe he really was slighly disturbed by the thing and he didn't appreciate his katana being called pocket knives. "ok im not much interested anyways, i have seen what i want to see" he said and turned to talk back to the girl (Selmaina who he had been talking to before "i apologize" he said "anyways you asked who i was? well simply put im a werewolf from another world, and a time traveler...i think. what is your name? and i dont think you told me where your from." he was wondering if he really should have given away that last bit of information. he glanced back to see what the creature was doing, but only briefly before turning back to the girl
"my name is Darius" he said "Darius Silvernight. i see so your a traveler too, are you going anywhere in particular?" he decided to try not to explain how he is a time traveler, if it is true, it only makes him remember things he'd rather forget.
"ah yes, a wanderer. i was once one, i didn't much care where i went as long as it was cold, i hate warm weather. so your staying in Russia? what is it like there?" he was quite glad she didn't seem interested in his being a time traveler, it wasn't something he liked to talk about.
"i see" he said "it sounds like a nice place..well about that.." he hesitated a brief flash of sadness was in his eyes, but only for a moment, he normally didn't show much emotion, much less sadness.. "its not like i willingly became one, i never know when or where im going to be sent, truth is i only travel between the past and furture, and not even im sure how this all works, im still trying to figure things out, im looking for someone." after saying all of this he was a bit surprised, he just spilled at least half of what had been going on to some stranger he had just met about something he didn't like to think about much.
Darius stiffened how on earth would she know? "well um yeah.." his voice trailed off. he wasn't sure if he could tell her about Louise, he guarded that name and memory like a precious jewel, not wanting anyone else to know. or was it he felt the pangs of guilt again. "she...is in danger, i..well, im trying to find a way to save her, but it never works." he wasn't about to tell Selmaina that the reason the girl was in danger was because of him, and a curse. he himself didn't understand it fully at this time.
Darius took a deep breath, well since he had gotten in the conversation he might as well tell her at least what he understands so far. "yes, i love her, we used to be enemies, a curse was placed on my family generations ago. i dont understand it fully yet but i cant become close to anyone for very long, something bad always happens, something about fate and the revenge of my ancestors, im not sure exactly, but it always happens to her, and its always because of me in some way." he stopped, remembering the first time he saw her die, he had seen her die many times after "im sure your wondering why then i am looking for her. logically if i stay away she'll be fine, i tried that too, it didn't work. i need to find a way around this and i need to find her. well i guess thats everything, i didn't think i'd be sharing all of that to one person i just met but oh well, life is strange i guess."
"no i dont know who" he said "but i think i know why. in my world my ancestors were driven back out of their land by settlers. they were forced to live in the inhospitable northern highlands and in the mountains. my people wanted revenge and to take back the land, they prophesied that someone would defeat the invaders someday, someone in the bloodline of the original kings, the invaders then cursed my family binding us to the highlands so that we could never live anywhere else. between my fate to destroy the invaders and my binding to the mountains, its just...Louise, was one of the enemy." Darius was shocked first he had said so much and second that he had spoken her name, great! he berated himself why did i say her name out loud? it wouldn't do anything, its just he was too protective of her to even utter her name out loud. "well thats really all i know now"
Darius nodded "yes, thank you." he said "well i will be going now, i enjoyed our chat, we may see eachother again if i spend much time in this world." he turned and left. as he went he wondered... about a lot of things. why had he shared so much? where was Louise now? would he ever put an end to this vicious cycle? he could only wonder as he made his way back to the hotel. he would need rest if he was going to defy fate in the days to come.
Ulrich Paternosta stepped into the warm interior of the tavern. He gave it a quick scan and grunted. She wasn't anywhere in sight; good. There was something off with Ms. Tauvyr as of late. More off than usual.
Stone and Boyle followed in shortly after. The pair of vampires sort of taking in the sights of a rather rich looking drinking hole. "Nice. Nice. Hey Stones! They got the nice chairs! Take a peep at them!" Boyles made his way over to a table. A chair with rich velvet cushions that he ran along his hand. "Look at that. Feel that. Good right?"
Stones followed in not even giving the chair a look.
"Ish fine." He said bluntly. He moved to the sight. Taking in a strong nostril fill of something. Hm.
"That one." he pointed to a bottle behind the counter. A cup? "No. That one." The whole bottle? Okay... He uncorked it and began to drink it very greedily.

Deliveries to the Tauvyr Tavern were more regular with the new ownership of Fantasma Vineyards. The bottles were stocked and varied though many of the labels familiar some a more threatening make. Labels with letters that squirm and images with unsettling angles. One such bottle festooned with the dual masks Sock and Buskin sported others etched into the glass. Though these of anguish and horror if one should peer closer. Perhaps a warning for its label 'Thousand-Faced Wine' that said little else of its make than bottled in Fantasma Vineyards. A cigarette alit behind the bar though the embers fell first out of memory than the light of one's eyes. A bit of red ash falling in life before the eyeless grin of Ebrabbos underneath her wide brim hat and thick cloak. Long hair pours from under her hat to float past her shoulders as locks snake around her shoulders as to threaten by rising there. Though the eyes obscured beneath her hat their ill-defined shape inviting one to stare too close as they stared back. The cigarette in her mouth flared but never burnt down as she unpacked a box of wine from behind the counter.
"Careful now, " the tone lost about some unclear sarcasm, "There are so very many faces of regret that deep in a bottle of wine."

Stone and Boyle were now separated. Boyle was now at the side of Ulrich beginning to get comfortable in this soft velvet chair. A wide grin as his shark like mouth slowly blended back into a row of normal teeth. "Blimey! This is delux ain't it!?" He asked the other vampire. Before he began to speak again. "Look. The two of us are on a hunt. But not to cause trouble. Stones can be a bit violent. He comes from a violent times you know?" He told the other. "We are looking for a criminal. Or someone close to that."
Stones was at the bar. He drank half of the bottle and was surprised that the alcohol actually had some affect on him. THe huge man now turned to the stranger. He looked to her fancy hat. He nodded. "Good fashion." He told her at first. "We both know this is not wine."

Stones Acute hearing picked that up. And without even missing a beat CHUCKED a rather dull tankard right at his noggin. Knocking the other mercenary over the chair. "Ah! Sorry! Sorry Stones! Common! Just a bit of fun!" He uttered
Ulrich Paternosta hitched his pants and settled into a velvet chair himself. He listened close to Boyle. Ulrich asked, "Hunting who, or what? If'em any danger to the Hollow, best be on the hunt, too."

The visage was of a vampire in circles called Feastus. A Vampire that had started a sanguine cult installing him as their living deity. "But most of these shitheads don't try to bother the established covens... So we got the call."
