Deathblade's Story

A shadowy figure lurked in the darkest corner of the Undermarket. He loitered against the wall with arms folded across his chest and observed the shady dealings of the city's underbelly. His face was shrouded by a dark hood and cowl while a suit of blast armor hung from his torso. Deathblade fondled the hilt of one of his nanoforged titanium daggers. Though the pirate had a job to perform, he still thirsted for blood...

"You must locate a representative of the Ha'la'tha." the words of his master echoed through Deathblade's mind. "Do what you must, be insure that our mission remains secret."

Fenrias Halvard leaned against the entrance to a darkened alley. He watched the happenings of the Undermarket with keen eyes from the shadows as he searched for a potential mark or client.

Remy "Gambit" LeBeau straightened his coat as he noticed several suspicious patrons entering the market. This place had sure become popular since it was confirmed to have existed... damn those pesky news reporters! Wing City had always been a place of change, but... his precious respite!

Finishing up his transaction with the final vendor he'd come here to see, Gambit then began to make his way back towards his age-old home.

Fenrias wrinkled his nose at his latest customer. The hunched and wrapped man smelled like old death, and there was just something... unsettling about him. Nevertheless, he was paying well, and it was never good business to discriminate.

"Aye." Fenrias nodded as he discretely passed a manila folder to the man. "A wee little pup told me that there's going to be a massive influx of goods from here to Solinus. Might be worth yer interest. If ya get yer hands on a bit of a surplus, I can offer to liquidate yer assets for a small fee as well."

"Your business is appreciated." The man replied as he took the folder.

His entire body was covered in thick wrappings and a tattered cloak. There was a stench of death about it, both old decay and fresh blood, but he bore it no mind. The man known as Deathblade hid the folder away in his cloak and stalked away into the shadows.

The young Shadow Dragon simply watched from afar as the scent of death wafted across her nose. It wasnt a lot to trigger her mind into thinking her father was around, he was infact quite busy elsewhere. Turning her purple eyes briefly towards the source fo the smell her stomach rumbled in hunger.

As soon as the cloaked stinking of death being left, Taris stepped to Fenrias stall. It wasnt often that Taris gained information. And from the look of things, this man wasnt selling food as she stood before his stall and pondered what to do next. She needed to eat something. Anything, preferably not a human being
