Appearance: Ealan is an ageing male with long white hair and a new beard. On the left side of his skull, he has a sword-wound scar which has impaired the growth of hair in the area. Other than that, he seems relatively fit for a man of such age and wears fanciful clothing and robes that betray the idea he is a rather wealthy man. He also carries quite the collection of weaponry and strange objects, including his hooked staff, a short-sword and a crossbow and bolts. He has many small gems, stones and trinkets in the leather containers attached to his front, but he rarely goes into detail about them, or even take them out.

Personality: As almost every father, Ealan is protective of his daughter and the memory of her late mother. He is also cynical, distrusting and often scares or plays tricks to satisfy his mild, but dark sense of humour. However, he is mostly a good-hearted man, a master magician and a true mentor and though he feels pity for the younger generations, he won't yet give up on them. He often naturally falls into a sort of 'father figure' with his younger companions, offering advise and sometimes even training.

Abilities: Ealan is a moderately accomplished swordsman, a decent shot with the crossbow and relatively well built for his age. Still, his master-area is the art of magic, where with his hooked staff he can unleash a fury of elemental and even combine multiple in order to create new effects. His staff, however, is not powered by Ealan's own magic reserve; instead it is enchanted to take advantage of the near limitless energies offered by Gaia's multiple stars. He is weakest without his staff or at night, yet one should not underestimate him even then, for his own mana can still be used as a replacement. His mastery of elements includes: fire, water, earth/rock, air, lightning, steam, ice, lava and "life" (the art of healing). Finally, his staff can also be used for limited telekinesis.
