Meet Erin. She suffers from a slight sociopathy, insomnia and an inability to trust people. She is loveable and scary.
Erin is unstable, to say the least. Her personality ranges from "off the hinges" to "terrifying". She suffers from a small amount of a slight lack of empathy towards others, sleep deprivation thanks to insomnia, and has lost her ability to trust people.
Though, before she lost her mind and went a tad insane, she was loveable and sweet. Well, she still is, if you can open her up enough to get to know her.
Along with an unstable mind, Erin carries with her a small bag that contains charcoal and a sketchpad, a small sleeping bag. Along with a few unecessary items, she keeps with her an extra pair of leather-sole shoes, excellent for running, an extra pair of clothes, for when hers become exceeedingly unclean, and a few lockpicks for when times are extra hard.
Growing up as the "middle child" in a set of triplets - all girls - Erin wasn't the "baby" or the "eldest", obviously, and was never given the "best" gifts because of these reasons.
Negligence on her parents part left her somewhat solitary and distant from other children her age, as well as her two sisters. She hated them and wished them dead. And her wish came true one night, just like that, when a fire lit their house like an exploding star against a lightless, black sky.
As the flames danced and writhed against the darkness, screams echoing from within the charring walls, the crumbling wood, Erin watched, biting her lip to keep from smiling as the other families gather around, trying to help, comfort, console her. She resisted the urge to push them away as her house collapsed, along with her family. The only one to escape was her father, whom had acted as though he loved her and now resented her as his depression and misery over the loss of his family grew.
And this led to her inability to trust anyone, even herself sometimes. The voices of her "dearly departed" family echoed inside her mind, telling her they wished she was with them, wished she was the one that was dead, wished she had never been born.
