Equipment

Krieger's personal weapons:
Two Mk III Heavy Revolvers: These weapons are medium caliber, high velocity slug weapons capable of penetrating light body armor.
Two Shredder Combat Knives: A pair of long bladed knives similar to the American Bowie knife.
Service Pistol: A small caliber weapon used as standard issue among non-infantry members of the military he was part of, it does not have the same power as his personal revolvers but is easier to conceal. (seen in pic)
Krieger is also trained the use of most types of military firearms though he prefers those meant for close combat such as shotguns and carbines.

Drachejäger: Krieger's battle frame, a mech-type weapon from his home universe.
Shotcannons: Scaled up versions of shotguns mounted on the frame's back, they swing forward under the arms so that they can be fired.
Revolver Cannons: Used for when the close quarters frame requires a little more ranged firepower, stored on the hips, drawn and fired by the hands in use, scaled up from Kriegers own revolvers.
Flamethrowers: A pair of high heat flamethrowers built into the frame's wrists and serve mostly for removing of infantry so that no anti-vehicle weapons are wasted on them.
Combat Knives: A pair of armor rending combat knives built into the frame's forearms and extend into the hands for use.

"That is correct. It isn't equipped for combat out of atmo, fights better on its feet." answered Krieger, a tall gruff German who in his home universe had been a soldier in a special UN mech unit, his battle frame, the Drachejager or Dragon Hunter was exception at close quarters combat with other frames, it could also be used as an effected anti-vehicle weapon.

"Eco-terrorists here too hmm?" he muttered to himself, perhaps this place was not so different after all.

"Protect the cargo, shot to kill, could be explosives. Anything else I should know?" Krieger asked, he was a soldier and knew his machine well enough, in the simulator he had been able to take down Nicolai's Czar Ivan, the heaviest frame in their unit. He figured that coupled with his experience that this man who was hiring him didn't have much to worry about. "What is the convoy size and how much am I responsible for?"

"Very well, I assume you have my frame already at the starting area with the necessary rearmements completed?" He didn't want to deploy with only half an ammunition loadout, even just for an escort job like this one. At least he was getting paid well and as a soldier he knew better than to ask what was in the box designated as 'precious cargo' might as well have said do not open until Christmas.

"I understand, I would never trust those things on the battle field, too easy for some egghead to get to em and turn em around to use on us." Krieger answered as he stood up and straightened his coat. "As soon as I get planetside and rearm the frame I will be ready to deploy." he said.

"A boss who actually makes sure the job gets done right," Krieger said quietly, taking it and slipping it on. Technology was something he was familiar with, where he was from it was everywhere, Wing City's more magically inclined citizens would take some getting used to once he encountered them. "I'm ready."

That was one bit of technology that still astounded him, if they could transport a person from the surface to orbit like that shouldn't they just be able to ship their little package the same way instead of sending it by truck. Krieger shook his head slightly and headed back down the hall he came in through and stepped onto the pad, waiting for them to send him to where he was supposed to go.

Heinrich grinned, his first real facial expression since he was approached by Orion. Climbing up the small handholds on the side of the leg he entered the suit through a small hatch on its back. "Home sweet home." he mused, flipping some switches and getting everything warmed up. servos and motors began to whir and the machine slowly stood up from its crouched position. "Driver and escorts ready?" he asked as the Drachejager flexed its fingers and shifted on its legs before turning to face towards the exit.

"Time for a stroll then," Krieger said as he set the frame into motion, moving a little slow at first but it soon got up to a not so quiet jogging speed as it caught up with the small convoy. As they went he made sure he triple checked all of his weapons and sensor systems, and ambush was expected and he was going to be ready. Ammo reserves for both revolvers and shot cannons were full, and the flamethowers were topped off nicely, he had to hand it to Orion Industries, they could take care of a battle frame.

"Now we see if these eco-terrorists aren't going to try and use nature as a weapon." Heinrich muttered as he moved the mech forward. If they had attached explosives to the tree or embedded them in it things were to get a little wild. the smart thing to do would be to not pick it up at first. He motioned the cars back before putting a foot to the tree and giving it a push, just like rolling a log, it should move it at least a little and if it was wired, hopefully set it off.

"Some of your men betrayed you. Your loyal men are dead." Heinrich answered, gripping the controls for his weapon as one of the battle frame's shot cannons swung up from under its right arm and into its waiting hand. With the loud click a shell locked into firing position, at least he could take though those that weren't too near the cargo with this. Squeezing the trigger he fired, unleashing a deafening bang as an oversized slug left the barrel towards one of the escort trucks that the traitors might have taken cover behind.

"Couple are trying to get away, they won't get far." Heinrich answered, quickly switching shot cannons, he generally had one with slugs and the other with shot, this time having gone with anti-personnel shot, making it like raining grapeshot when used on infantry. Thankfully the frame was windowless and the cameras and other sensors well protected. "Say goodbye traitors." Heinrich whispered as he fired once at the fleeing soldiers, chambered another round and fired on the troops still attacking him.

"Scan says one still alive, don't know if he is hiding from me or from them though." answered the pilot as he slowly lowered the frame to its knees and angled the head to shine its lights into the front of the truck. If the man was still with Orion he likely wouldn't shot at him, if he wasn't and Heinrich was shot at, well Orion Industries was going to be short one truck.

"I'm Devin." Heinrich answered, strange that the driver of the truck wouldn't know about who was providing the escort but things happened and that was that. Still, Heinrich hoped that this driver didn't actually know this Devin since he himself had a noticeable accent.

"What codeword?" Heinrich answered as he stood the frame back up and kicked the wrecked troop truck out of the drivers way before moving the downed tree that he had only rolled before. Hopefully he would get through the rest of the trip with no more surprises, he didn't like the idea of possibly having to carry that cargo if the driver got taken out.

The Drachejager saluted as the truck was taken care of before going back to a somewhat at rest position. "If Orion can keep this machine running and keep me fed and not too dry of whatever passes for beer around here once and a while I think I can handle that." Heinrich answered. If he was going to be stuck in this place, whatever it was, employment that actually made use of his skills would be just great.

"I would say you have yourself a new employee." Heinrich answered, where he was from no one was allowed to get the secret of his unit's battle frames since they were cutting edge where he was from but here at least his employers, if they were to keep the thing running need to be able to know how it worked, "I will make sure your engineers get the specs they need when it needs maintenance or repairs.

"Gambit's Bar? Well looks as good a place as any to get a drink in this place." muttered Krieger as pushed open the door and walked in, heading straight for the counter and ordering a dark, German beer. The only kind of beer worth drinking in his book, none of that American scheise they consumed by the gallon, this was real beer. He cast a glance at Adam as he awaited his drink, the man looked like an officer, how many armed groups were there in this place?

"Gutten Tag." Krieger replied, natural German accent obvious in his voice, he never tried to hide it, he was a proud German. He was also a man of few words, and as his drink arrived he took a long swallow before giving Hoffen another glance. He didn't think is appearance was that strange but then again he was the only other person in there so Hoffen wouldn't have had to single him out to talk to, he was the only one to talk to.

"Es geht so so. Ich kennt nicht Belkan." answered Krieger. He had never heard of this Belkan he spoke of, of course he had never heard of Orion Industries until he took a job with them as an escort a few days prior. At least he still had his frame in this place, whatever it was, it certainly was not his Earth that he knew.

"Ich heise Heinrich." Krieger answered. It was a very German name but he was from Germany so that was to be expected. He didn't over a hand either, it wasn't something he did, if he did he was usually planning to drop the other person to the floor and then keep them down with his heel.

"Hmm, Mein Kleine Freund kann machst dem los gehen." Krieger said, meaning his service pistol, the butt of which could be seen under his jacket at certain angles. "Aber toten nicht so gut mit Bier." he added with a laugh. Death did indeed spoil the beer in his mind, with that thought he downed the last of his glass.

"People theses days eh?" he said, getting a half glass for his second drink, he didn't want to impare himself too much since he planned to hit the range latter that day so it would only be a few drinks for himself. "I don't think my current employer would be too happy if I started splitting heads.

Krieger nodded before downing the last of his glass and standing up. "Ich muss gehen," he said calmly and adjusted his long coat before paying the tender and heading out of the Bar. He tucked his hands into his pockets and headed off towards the shooting range, he always could use the practice.

"I'm listening General." Heinrich replied, the frame was in a low power restive state but the reactor was still hot and ready to go the moment he was needed. This way though with the suit's lights off and its proximity to the main building it just looked like part of the structure. The suit had been taken care of well when it was transported over here as well as reloaded from the few rounds he had used on the escort hob.

The minute Heinrich got the alarm signal he brought the Drachejager fully online. It's floodlights snapped on, one on the head and two on the chest. He followed the line of soldiers with his cameras to locate breach in the wall and watched as the hired guards failed to do their jobs. "General, how important is this special job of yours? We have a break in." Heinrich said over his earpiece as he pushed the battle frame into motion. The thirty foot tall machine lurched forward walking towards the breach in the wall as it raised its right arm, no point wasting lead on foot soldiers. The small pilot flame for the suit's flame thrower clicked to life, pointed at the soldiers who were trying to get in.
