Description
"You know, you may think I need someone to lean on, but I don't, so keep your criticisms to yourself, I have no damn use for them"
Full Name: Jennifer Elidia Crespo.
Personality
Incidents of the past have shaped Jenna's personality for good, and most of her new traits aren't that positive, but she believes that she has become a better person through the trials she has gone through. Her personality as a bubbly young woman does not exist anymore, she has become a more serious, calm, and careful person. She is very cautious, and tends to examine every bit of a situation, before heading into it, as she does not like to head into a situation blind. She also has a strong belief in herself, and does not like to rely on other's for assistance, and will firmly decline help from someone unless it is a dire situation that could result in her death. She also does not believe that strength comes from your actual strength, but from how you use your mind, and what you use it for. She thinks that if you use your mind, you could outsmart the strongest person in the world.
She has her moments though when she feels like all is lost, or when a memory resurfaces, that she usually keeps buried, or at least tries to keep buried in her mind. She does not like to be reminded of her mistakes in the past, and how she handled them as she is trying to move on with her life, knowing that she made mistakes that she can't ever take back.
She has a weakness for children, and dislikes it greatly when a child is crying, and she will attempt to stop the crying, and calm the child down. She has always had a soft spot for children in her past, and use to care for other people's kids, so she knows a thing or two about caring for one.
History
Jenna's childhood was not a good one, that was filled with child abuse and many many foster homes. She likes to think she learned from these experiences and was made stronger by them. Her dad was a good man, who cared for her, but her mother was the devil, who never wanted a kid in the first place, and made Jenna's life a living hell, and even went as far to make sure she would never have a good life. She murdered her husband, Jenna's father, by pushing him down the stairs, and making ti seem like an accident. Jenna was then put into foster care as her mother did not wish to care for her anymore. She went through many different foster homes in her childhood, and different orphanages. She acted tough to survive in both of those places, and likes to think it worked for the most part.
However, these events were not what shaped her, there was a certain event that greatly shaped who she became in her life, and it was something that she cannot forget, and is always reminded of it.
Jenna was only ten when it happened, but she has a vivid memory of it, along with the things she endured for four long, and painful years. She was in an orphanage and decided to run away, as she did not feel safe in the place, but where she ended up was even worse......She was swept off the streets and put into a fighting ring by a man for his amusement. She basically became his slave as the time went on, he forced her to fight for her life in a ring with other children. She had to kill to survive in that ring, and regretted doing such, but eventually her sadness was overwhelmed by an animal instinct to survive and she became feral, and murdered every opponent she faced with ruthless precision. She had made it to the top of the fights, and her owner decided that it would be better if she died in the next fight and arranged for her opponent to have a knife and to stab her. She was smarter than this however, and during the fight, tackled her opponent and took away the knife, and brutally plunged the knife into the fighters chest, tearing out her organs, and then strangling the fighter with their organs.
She then turned her anger on her owner, and made sure that he would never be able to do what he did to anyone like her again. She took a broken bone from the other fighter's rib cage, and disemboweled the owner, and ripped out his heart. She was not in control at that moment and tore into the heart, eating it like a rabid wolf. She then realized what she had done, and ran away from the place, and tried to start her life over again, and tried to bury the memories of what happened in that fighting ring, in fact, she tries to forget that part of her childhood completely, but never can, only bury it into her mind, like someone burying something in their backyard, but their dog brings it back to them.
So begins...
The door to the bar opened slowly and a female figure walked in, looking around with a curious, but cautious look on her face. She took a deep breath, and then made her way completely into the bar. "You know, I've heard a lot about this place, but never really had an urge to go here, since there are so many god damn fights" she said with a chuckle.
She then walked towards the bar counter, and sat down on a stool, and turned towards the counter, and looked at the menu. She scrolled through the choices of things to order before arriving on a steak, cooked medium-well, bloody. She sighed and waited for her order to arrive.
Jenna's eyes moved over to Major Walsh, Ben and she nodded her head at him, and turned to the man, putting a hand out. "Jenna Crespo, it's grand to meet yah sir" she said with a grin and nodded her head again, "Yeah, I heard about that too, although this place is better than.....nevermind" she stopped.
She saw that her steak had arrived and chuckled, picking up the fork and knife, and started to cut it. She picked up a piece with her fingers and put it into her mouth, and chewed it with ferocity unlike a human could have. She hadn't had something this good in a long time.
The door to the bar opened slowly and a female figure walked in, looking around with a curious, but cautious look on her face. She took a deep breath, and then made her way completely into the bar. Her eyes looked around cautiously, and she sighed, and stroked her hair a little, walking further into the path in the middle of the forest. She took another look around, her eyes filled with curiosity, but also a bit of fear. She had not been to this area before so she was naturally cautious of it.
She took a deep breath, and leaned against a tree, and closed her eyes a little, trying to get her mind into order, her thoughts running around in head like a puppy running around while playing with it's owner. She breathed out and sat down against the tree, and tried to put together pieces of memories, no matter how much she didn't want to.
Her eyes opened slowly as the smell of rainwater, and she looked around, and sighed, feeling the drizzle in the forest. She put a hand out, and felt some of the rain wash along the hand, and down her arm. She enjoyed that feeling, as it was just one of those little things that made you smile a little, which was rare for Jenna.
She turned and looked into the forest, and then started walking into it, and moved in between the trees, seeing the birds darting past, and she raised a brow, curious at why they were going by so fast, she just continued to walk into the forest, her hand rubbing along the bark of trees as she walked.
Her eyes turned to look at the figure as she started to see it between the trees, and she raised a brow, and observed the figure, only seeing the red eyes and hair of the figure. She was curious but a little bit fearful, until she saw that the figure was being kind to the animals. She walked forward a little bit more and leaned on a tree.
"Hello" she said in a quiet voice, as she didn't really know if she wanted the figure to hear her, even if the figure had already seen her. She was fearful that something would happen, but still was curious none the less.
"I'm.....Jenna" she said and smiled warmly at the figure.
She saw the wave and then raised her hand back in a wave, and froze as the figure approached her, and she gulped, and shuddered a little. She looked around as she saw the rain coming down more around them, and she felt it covering her figure, enveloping her. She took a deep breath, and watched as the figure offered out a hand.
She gently reached her hand out and placed it on his, and looked at the figure, taking in it's appearance. She looked into the red eyes, and continued to look into them, feeling drawn to them, wondering what the figure was thinking at the moment.
Jenna felt the hand wrap around hers and then dropped to the side, and she turned, watching him stroll past her, and she smiled, and followed after the figure, being careful not to harm any of the creatures following the figure. She was curious about the flowers staying in full bloom despite the sun.
She looked at the heels of the figure as the plants sprouted and her eyes widened, and she took a quick step, and walked along side the figure, even more curious now. "What you are doing, is just amazing, the plants sprouting to life under your heels, it's just something you don't see everyday" she said with a smile.
Jenna looked through the trees and her eyes widened as she started to see the horn, and her mouth gaped open. She thought that Unicorns didn't even exist and seeing this just made her day, hell, even her week. She needed something like that to happen, something unexpected, that brought joy and curiosity to her face, like she was young again.
She felt the creatures neck and rubbed it's neck firmly, but not too firm. She looked over at Shade, and smiled. "I can't believe I am rubbing the neck of a Unicorn, I did not expect this when I came into this area today...." she said with wonder in her voice.
Jenna smiled at The Shade as it tilted his head, and she watched the tender moment, and looked at him as he walked away into the water, and felt the presence fade. Her face went into a frown, as she was enjoying being near the figure. She walked towards the water, and watched as The Shade walked in the direction.
"Goodbye" she said with a quiet tone, thinking he was leaving, as the feeling of his presence was fading away. She sat down next to the water, and took a deep breath, and stroked her hair.
She scrolled through the choices of things to order before arriving on a steak, cooked medium-rare. She sighed and waited for her order to arrive.
The woman's eyes traveled over to the figure clad in the diving suit and she raised a brow, and turned to it. She saw the hoody draped over it's shoulders and raised a brow, in curiosity. She then got up, and slowly approached the figure. She took a deep breath, and then breathed out.
"Hi there, I'm Jenna" she said and put a hand out for the figure to shake. She was trying to meet even more people in this city, and had just had a pleasant experience with a figure in the Forest, that treated her like a lady, and showed her a unicorn, which was odd, but made her week.
The woman smiled and nodded her head, "Jenna Crespo" she said with a warm tone, one that conveyed a good feeling and happiness. She took a seat next to Elizabeth, and then raised a brow, and chuckled. "It's because this place is a death sentence, there are fights daily, and people die, in fact, someone probably died next to your stool".
The woman raised a brow and watched as the helmet was taken off, and she looked into the blue eyes, and got even more curious at how they appeared. She nodded her head with a sigh, "Indeed, this place is very dangerous, I wish I was kidding but I am not sadly" she said with a sigh.
The woman raised a brow again, and chuckled, "Well, hope you survive more than a week!" she said with a grin and shook her head, "Just a joke" she said and patted Elizabeth on the back. "Former Savior?" she asked curiously.
The woman covered her eyes as she heard the sonic scream, "Geez, that was loud as hell woman" she said with a chuckle, and shook her head, and listened to her. "There are two sides to every story mam, perhaps the Big Daddy as you say it had reasons behind what he did" she said with a calm tone.
The woman gulped but stayed where she was, "The tyrant dream, a dream that shouldn't exist, a dream by someone who shouldn't have any power" she said with a curious tone. "Why do you believe in what she believed in? There might have been something that you didn't see.......".
"Well, it's my opinion from what I am hearing, it is good you are still alive, but from what I am hearing, it didn't sound like the safest place" she said with a sigh, and shook her head, "Listen, I didn't mean offense, but I am curious about the place, where is it exactly?" she asked.
Jenna sighed, taking a deep breath and she looked at Elizabeth, and frowned. "Listen....I know you might miss your home, and I feel sorry for that".
Jenna sighed, shaking his her head as she listened to what Elizabeth said, "I may not of lost any family members but I went through suffering alright....had to fight in a ring for about 3 years while being a slave who kidnapped me from my home." she stopped and took a deep breath.
"I killed my owner and ripped out his heart, and ate it" she said quietly, not wanting to remember that moment, she was not herself, and it troubled her greatly. "I mean it, I am sorry for insulting her, she does sound like she tried to do good" she said with a sorrow filled tone.
Jenna raised a brow and looked at the hand, and then nodded her head, "Yeah....through the ringer alright.." she said quietly and sighed, looking down. "I don't know......being a cop........just......" she stopped. "I never was found, I escaped on my own......the police force didn't even try to look for me, thinking that I was just another girl run away from home".
Jenna raised her head and looked at Elizabeth, and sighed, "I might try.....but I would like to be your partner too....don't want to be alone" she said with a quiet tone, and then smiled weakly at her. "We had to do what we had to do, to survive in worlds that were unfriendly to us".
Jenna raised a brow as she was lead to the dark corner, and watched as she took the suit off, and her eyes widened. "What did they do to you in that place......." she said with a quiet tone, and her eyes narrowed. "They are monsters...." she said with a slight tinge of anger. "If it's hurting you, put the suit back on".
Jenna sighed, and approached the woman, and wrapped her arms around her and pulled her into a hug, and rubbed her back even though it was the suit. "What happened to you is terrible, and it shouldn't have, I know it was your choice, but that shouldn't have been done".
Jenna sighed, and nodded her head slowly, understanding what she said. "I'm sure you can have a child, and if you can't, you could adopt one. One that has felt pain and you could be the light in her life, the thing that changes her or him forever. That would be the greatest thing you could do".
"Also, about the partnership thing, I think I am ready to make a change in my life, to do something good for once, perhaps make up for my mistakes" she said with a smile, and looked over at WRATH, and did a small wave.
