Kadie's Story

Kade was walking along a path, not even near her parents anymore, but she was on an adventure, exploring the realms. She wanted to see what was around. Kadie was a curious six year old. She loved exploring and so had wandered off into Wing City by herself, probably scaring her parents half to death.
While she was on her walk, she noticed a funny young man coming her way. She hadn't seen one like him before. He looked weird and dressed funny. Being as she was walking in the opposite direction as he was, when she came to be next to him, she turned and started following him. Her big grey eyes staring up at him. "Whatcha doing, Mister alien." She asked.

Kadie wrinkled her nose. "I'm not sick. My mommy makes sure I take all my sweet medicine things to make sure I don't get sick." She told him. "And why are you waving your silly stick at me? Where'd you come from? Did ya come from the outer space? Are your other alien friends here?" She bombarded him with questions.
Kaide looked at her skin. "I've always been that colour. My mom and dad are this colour and so are my friends. Are your mommy and daddy the same colour as you? I thought Aliens were green with black eyes. You're a funny looking alien. You kinda look like me." She grinned.
"We're on Earth. Do you live in Venus? Or Mars? That's where the telly says aliens come from." She grinned, moving forward to look at the stuff on him. "You're jewerly is real pretty though. Can I take something home and show my mom and dad. They'd like this." She brought her hand up to touch some of it.
Kadie stood shocked for a moment and confused. The swat hadn't hurt much but she'd never had someone be unfriendly like that and push her hand away. Her eyes immediately welled with tears. "I'm sorry mister alien! I didn't mean to touch."
As soon as he told her off once more she started crying. Full blown tears. "I-i-i-i'm s-sorry." She repeated. "P-please still be my friend, Mister Alien." She managed to get out, eventually wiping her eyes.
Kadie wiped her eyes and nodded. "That's a funny name, Mister alien. My name is Kadie. Spelt with a K. Some people like to spell it with a C. But my mommy doesn't like it with a c so you better spell it with a K. Do you need help getting back into outer space, Mister Anu alien."
Kadie looked at the alien as if he were crazy. "You don't know where your home is in outta space?" She looked up at the sky. "Up there is outta space! And there is no Pharo thingy here. I don't think. I never heard of that before." She told him.
"All aliens are from the sky. That's where your home is. Outta space." She grinned. "And I think we have a king that leads people. I'm not sure. I don't know where he lives either. You'd have to ask someone else. Who is the king of your aliens?"
"You are from the sky. Egypt must be in the sky if that is where you live. All aliens live in the sky." She explained. "We need to go find your space ship. Did ya crash it somewhere? I don't see no smoke. My dad could fix it if we find it."
Kadie nodded. "We'll get you back up in the sky to your alien friends one day. If not, we have another bedroom in out house that you can live in." She grinned, starting to walk back the way she'd come out of the villiage
"Clothes. People were clothes here." SHe told him. "I'll get you some of my dad's clothes when we get home. I'm sure he'll let you borrow some." She grinned. "You'll love our house mister alien, I promise."
The setting changes from wing-city-eastern-gate to The Abandoned Slums
Kadie really shouldn't have been in this part of the town. She should have been at home with her family, not playing around some slums. But after she'd met the Eygptian dude and thought that he was an alien, she had got into a very exporatory mood. Kadie was a curious girl and wanted to learn about things. And so she'd wandered, and wandered, and wandered even further from Wing City.
Now, here she in the abandoned part where things weren't exactly great. But this was something that she could explore and that's what Kadie loved doing - exploring.

Everywhere around seemed dead and empty. Kadie had already come across a couple of dead bodies which had surprised her, but she'd quickly moved on. So when she saw a man, she grinned, moving over some debris to a building that was on the verge of collapsing completely.
She stopped and hid though when two other men appeared and frowned, watching as the men seemed to talk with him before, and her eyes opened wide in shock, they attacked him. In a split second, Kadie did something stupid and moved into sight, towards them. She moved her blonde hair out of her face, and her blue eyes stared at the three of them.
"Leave him alone! It's not nice to fight. Didn't your mommy teach you that fighting is bad?"
She stopped and hid though when two other men appeared and frowned, watching as the men seemed to talk with him before, and her eyes opened wide in shock, they attacked him. In a split second, Kadie did something stupid and moved into sight, towards them. She moved her blonde hair out of her face, and her blue eyes stared at the three of them.

Kadie got scared when she saw the vampire heading towards her. She didn't really know that it was a vampire, but in her head fangs equated to a monster and suddenly she was stuck on the spot as she watched in slow motion as it came towards her before everything sped up and in moments the guy she'd seen before had both vampires on the ground.
"Why'd they want to fight you? Didn't they know that fighting is bad? My mom always told me that fighting was bad." Kadie answered, despite still been a little scared, she made no move to hide. Her curious questions getting the better of her.

Kadie didn't move. She just stood there watching it, her feet stuck to the ground as everyone seemed to be fighting. In her mind it was like she was watching a very violent movie, and worryingly she wasn't flinching or screaming in fear. She was just standing and watching them. She watched as Lucas killed a man and then focused on the other man.
She'd taken in what the dead one had told her, but her mind was processing the fact that the two with fangs looked like monsters whereas the other didn't... as far as she could see anyway.
"I don't think you should fight each other. Can't ya kiss and make up?" Kadie finally shouted just as they started fighting once more.

"Why'd ya rip his head from his body?" Kadie asked as if it was a normal thing you saw every day. "Are they monsters or aliems?" She didn't pronounce alien properly. "I met an aliem from Eygpt once. I tried to get him back to outer space but he wouldn't let me."
She looked to where the bodies should have been and frowned when she saw nothing, too focused on Lucus to have seen them turn to dust. "Did they go back to their aliem world?"

"I'm an explorer." She grinned, her front two top teeth missing, having fallen out at some point to make way for the bigger teeth to come through. "I walked all the way here from Wing City. Shush though, my parents don't know." She let out a small giggle. "They'd kill me if they knew I was here. But they said I could go exploring." She added. "Why are you here?"
That was probably the worst thing Lucas could have told the little girl - that he chases away monsters. In her mind that equated to an adventure of a new level. "My name is Kadie." She told him. "And I want to help fight bad monsters too. Can I join ya? Are you in a gang? If you're not in a gang can we make a gang? I'm a good fighter, I promise. My dad taught me everything he knew before..." She cut herself off quickly before looking at the male in front of her hopefully awaiting his answer.
Kadie shook her head and got stubborn with the rejection. "I'll just follow you around 'til you let me help then. Ya can't make me go back to Wing City and I'm not going back. I came to meet aliems and monsters and to have an adventure. And that's what I'm doing now." She told him.
So she stood there with her hands folded on her chest, and an angry look plastered on her face. She wasn't going to change her mind.

Kadie watched Lucas, a typical child standing there still with her hands on her chest, refusing to move an inch. SHe glared at the male, waiting for him to change his mind, and when he told her he'd walk her back himself, the little girl was fuming.
"You can't make me go anywhere. You're not my father. I'm staying here. And you don't know where I live anyway." She cheekily replied, thinking that she was pretty darn smart.

Kadie's frown increased and so did her angry face. She looked furious. "I know where I live. I live in the house with the red doors and the number 4 and 4 on them." She told him. "And if you take me back I'll just walk out here again. I know my way back." She told him. "You can't make me go anywhere I don't want to."
Kadie frowned. "They won't care. They won't do a thing." And to a certain extent that was true. Kadie had a few hidden secrets of her own. "I'm staying here to have my adventures then I'll go home when I'm ready. I did it with the Eygptian aliem and I didn't get hurt."
Warren Aulare was wandering aimlessly about when suddenly he smiled at the sky. For a moment he stood there and stared up into Terran Orbit. A satisfied nod and he turned on his heel with new direction. He thumbed at the die in his pocket as he made his way in to the city.
