Artrea the Healing Gauntlets
Artrea were gauntlets worn by a legendary man named Lysander Enlight. The gauntlets were hidden beneath the soil of The Exalted Mountains and were used to light the world when Eras had almost consumed his siblings. For seven turnings of Gaia had Artrea served to the be sole beacon on hope for all living things on the world.
The gauntlets are made from a mysterious metal which is completely white in color, almost as if they were made of our pearl. But they are as harder than any metal known to the current world as the knowledge died with Those Who No Longer Roam. They will light the path when light is needed most.
Glittering feathers protrude backwards and out from the wrist. The fingers are sharpened like ten deadly claws that can grip any surface short of diamonds. It is easy to scale a wall with the gauntlets. But that is not what make the weapons deadly. So sharp in fact are they, that they can pierce through most armor and can slice through human flesh like a razor through parchment. But their greatest power is the ability to touch others and heal their mortal wounds through the use of Will.
There is always a weakness that comes with weapons of great power. Those who adorn the gauntlets and use its abilities will soon find their eyesight failing on them over a long period of time. All those that have ever used them—even once—have gone blind with age. And when they are used to heal, the adorner will find themselves very drained as if their own life-force had been passed into the other in order to save their life

Karasaad Vidathari's Story
Karasaad Vidathari pushed quietly into the bar. His several trinkets, and jewels clinked together as he walked. He took a seat in a booth and tapped a holoemenu a few times. He had never visited the bar, so he was trying to look as if he had been here before. A wise man once told him that many prey upon the unknowing so he tried not to look the part. He yawned slightly and braced his head on his hands. Whilst he waited for his drink he looked around the room at the other patrons. He didn't think any of them would be in the market for enchanted trinkets or magic tricks. That seemed to be all he was good for now a days.
Karasaad Vidathari slid a pack of cards from his jacket pocket. He nipped his thumb and drew a bit of blood, which he spread a bit on each of the cards. He then moved his fingers lazily and the cards lifted off the table and began to dance. He then grabbed his glass of wine from the moving waiter bot and took a sip. The cards seemed to dance and play in the air. The King hovered above the rest and seemed to direct them. The mage leaned back and closed his eyes. He hated lazy days, but what could one do.
The setting changes from gambits-bar to Wing City Gardens (South)
Karasaad Vidathari sat behind a small stone table. A group of children sat across from him and watched in awe as the man made several cards and balls float in the air. He grinned as the swung their hands in between the items and his fingers, checking for strings. He folded the cards around the spheres and hovered them over the children. He then brought all of his items back down to the table and sent the children off to their families. The mothers and fathers gave him a bit of money for entertaining their children for a few hours, but it was never enough. He began to pack up his items as the sun started to set.
Karasaad Vidathari stuffed the rest of his items back into a small cloth bag. He stood quietly and made eye contact, "Perhaps, what do you need?" He asked, tying the bag to his belt. He scratched his silver hair, and grinned a bit. He wore several necklaces, wrist bands, belts, and trinkets that shined and glowed in different colors and areas. He grinned slightly.
Karasaad Vidathari smiled, "I dabble." He laughed, rubbing his hands together. He then took a seat again, "Please, have a seat, what is it you need my flower?" He asked, crossing his legs slightly. His fingernails glowed a light blue as he tapped the small table.
Karasaad Vidathari looked at the mace, "Very nice, what where you hoping I could do?" He asked, lifting it slightly and rotating it. He liked the way it looked. He tapped it a few times and placed his ear against it.
Karasaad Vidathari thought for a moment, "A.. leeching spell, that's a good one." He said quietly. He then reached into his backpack and pulled out a dagger and some trinkets. He tossed them casually on the table and pulled the mace over to his side of the table. He placed one of the trinkets on the pommel of the mace and drew some symbols on the table. "I'd prefer if you payed me before the ritual, money is kind of tight these days." He said, holding out a hand.
Karasaad Vidathari accepted with a nod. He picked up the dagger and slowly dragged it across his palm. He then allowed several drops of blood to land on the mace and trinket. The symbols then would begin to glow and he would grin. He moved his hands around the mace in strange patterns until the lights faded slightly. He then placed his hand on it and lifted it, "It's a bit warm, so be careful." He said holding it out to her. "It'll feel pretty strange at first when it's effect begin on you opponents, but you'll get used to it." He said, his hand twitching.
Karasaad Vidathari looked at the man, "She has already payed me, Kabethari." He said, sliding the money back to Rick. He blinked a few times and threw his deck of cards on the ground. They began to re-assemble themselves and shuffle.
Karasaad Vidathari held his hand out and beckoned the cards to return to him. They began to march in ranks to his feet where they rejoined into a deck and floated into his hand. He slid them back into his pocket, "I use Blood Magic." He said, grinning.
Karasaad Vidathari grinned, "You may call me Karasaad." He said, bowing slightly. He then held out his hands and small red birds flew from his sleeves and into the sky, where they exploded and caused flower petals to descend. "I'm a bit of a show-man, but what is it exactly that you'd like to know about Blood Magic?" He asked, catching a petal in his hand.
Karasaad Vidathari grinned, "That was predictable." He laughed, scratching his head. He then leaned back in his seat, "Blood magic is a form of magic that uses the power of life to cast spells, it is widely said that it takes a human sacrifice, but I know that is bullshit, I use my own life force to do my spells so I needn't harm people." He said, scratching his chin.
Karasaad Vidathari grinned, "If I needed to destroy a city or something like that." He laughed and twiddled his fingers. A piece of bread slid from his pack and hovered in front of him. He took a bite and chewed. While he chewed the bread moved away from his face. Once he finished his bread he said, "I don't think I'll be in a situation like that for a long time." He joked, winking.
Karasaad Vidathari stood quietly, "We all have our days, Mi'lady." He said, smiling devilishly. He then began to walk off, "Panahedon, my friend, I'm sure our paths will cross again, and you can learn more of my dark history." He shouted back. The man then dove through a rose bush and was gone from sight.
The setting changes from wing-city-gardens-south to Gambit's Bar
Karasaad Vidathari pushed the door to Gambit's open. The dream-catchers tied to his belt jingled against his trinkets he had made the day before. He took a seat in a booth and ordered a drink. While he waited he tossed a pack of cards on the floor, but before he could pick them up some girl came and stomped all over them before she went and punched some guy in the chest. "Ah, dammit." He said, after she trod on the cards. He then flicked his wrist and the cards rearranged themselves and returned to his table.
Karasaad Vidathari leaned out of his booth so that he could see what was causing a commotion. He saw a man with a gun to a woman's side, "Wow, sure is violent in here." He said, waving his hand. If Jack didn't have a tight grip on the weapon it would be thrown across the room to land in Karasaad's hand.
Karasaad Vidathari noticed Motoko sit down in his booth, "Um, may I help you?" He asked, surrounded by floating playing cards. Normally people avoided him, but she seemed to just sit down spontaneously. He rolled a ball in between his hands on the table.
Karasaad Vidathari ignored Lucy's request for now, he didn't want the bar all broken up just yet. He then looked to Motoko, "I'm a bit of everything really." He said, grinning widely. He then decided to give her an example. He grabbed one of the cards out of the air and he folded it into a bird. The bird took off into the rafters of the bar and landed above the table. It sat for a moment before it burst into flower petals and caused the ceiling to rain petals on the table for a few moments. "I'm mainly just a show magician at the moment, but I can be dangerous if I want." He said, crossing his legs.
Karasaad Vidathari popped his knuckles, "I'm actually not just a regular mage, I'm a Blood Mage." He said smiling. He then looked over at Lucy and Jack, "They're going to fight soon, it's never a good thing to forget a girl's name." He then pulled out a dream-catcher, "Wanna Dream-catcher?" He asked, holding it out to her. He was also a bit of a merchant.
Karasaad Vidathari squinted a bit, "I think maybe we should stop her." He said pointing at the chair she was lifting. He frowned a bit, not wanting to do any battle today. He stood and held out his hand to help Motoko out of the booth. He then turned to face the two.
Karasaad Vidathari stood quietly, "I definitely wouldn't forget a girl like that." He said, grinning. He placed his hands in his pockets and leaned against the table. He scratched his hair and played with one of the Dream Catchers,
The setting changes from gambits-bar to Lectre Mansion Entrance
Karasaad stood quietly in the back of the group. He had gone out and treated himself to a new wardrobe with the money he had earned recently, so he was definitely looking better than normal. He had walked here so his shoes had a bit of dirt on them, but otherwise he still looked nice. He got into a line and waited awkwardly for his turn. He saw that girl from a few days ago, and that guy also. He couldn't remember their names, but whatever. He did the security routine, and then headed on inside. He was glad he had left all of his trinkets and wares at home or else they'd be knee deep in enchanted jewelry and dream-catchers. After they checked he began the walk up to the building and to the ballroom.
The setting changes from lectre-mansion-entrance to Lectre Mansion Grand Ballroom
Karasaad Vidathari walked quietly into the bar and took a seat at the bar near Rick. He placed the deck of cards on the bar and ordered a drink, just water for now, but he was ready to see where the evening would take him. He looked around and noticed the girl and that guy again. He thought for a moment and decided that the girl's name starts with an M and the guy's name was Nick until he was told otherwise. He took a sip of his water and shuffled the deck of cards.
Karasaad Vidathari folded one of the cards into a bird shape and held it close to his mouth, "Go find someone pretty and bother her." He whispered to it. He blew a little on the folded up card and it began to flap and fly about as if it was a real bird. He grinned as he took a sip of his water. "I guess I should have brought someone." He said under his breath, downing the rest of his water. He then ordered another lime flavored water beverage and popped his left index finger loudly.
