.....

Personality

Keirra is incredibly sly, and will do whatever it takes to get what she wants, when she wants it. She is hot-headed, and angers easily, which is more often then not, her downfall. She enjoys proving her strength, speed, and agility to men, showing her worth. Being a Captain in her Grandfather's army has made her act so. Keirra can't tolerate flirts, and strives to be cool and un-interested around men, even if she's interested. Women who throw themselves over men make her sick.

The warrior is newly married to Melthandon Aldavathar, and incredibly happy about it.

.....

Equipment

Bow and a quiver of arrows on her back
Occasionally a sword at her side
Dagger hidden in her boot

POWER:

Energy from other living things: Keirra can draw strength from other living things, though she regrets to do so. When she does this, it brings the power and energy into herself, making her more powerful, instead of drawing from her own reserves. She can store this energy and use it to exert her magical abilities in a battle/fight.

Lost Language: By speaking, or even thinking a certain word or sentence from the Lost Language, Keirra can make almost any magical thing happen to her advantage. There are words for everything, yet only elves know of them.

Keirra slipped into gambit's, noting the loudness of her footsteps. they were never loud. being elven, her feet tread lightly, lithely. raising a brow and touching the hilt of her sword, she frowned.

the problem was-- gambit's was empty. rare... straightening, the elf warrior strode to the bar, tapping in her order on the touch screen. hopefully there'd be company soon... leaning against the counter, she waited, green eyes attentive.

Keirra laughs softly, "ah, i can agree with you there... Randin." she extended her hand for the detective to shake, "Keirra Longleaf, and the pleasure is mine." she raised her face, jaw squaring off as she bared her neck in a display of friendship. the elves did this to show they trusted a person, a show of respect.

she took a longer swig of the drink, green eyes deep and full of expressions, unreadable.

Keirra laughed, shaking her head, "ah, i agree with you. do you live here, Mr. Kaye?" she swirled the liquid in it's frosty glass, fingertips leaving small circles of water on it's surface.

it'd been so long since she'd had decent conversation. the turmoil in her country slipped from her mind slightly, easing her worry as she spoke, hoping to find some relief.

Keirra felt discomfort... and something else, that hurt her, emanating from the body of the woman. she could feel when something was amiss with a human, and raised a brow, look of concern crossing her un-marred features, "dauthleikr, are you unwell?" she called to her, rising from her relaxed position.

she glanced at the other man. he was thinking of Mr. Kaye. she looked back at Randin, quizzical look on her face.

Keirra dipped her head in a rare show of embarrassment, "fricai, life is important to us, we only take it if we must." her green eyes brightened as she looked up, "we posses many immortal qualities, but it would be hard on you if an elf passed them to you."

she looked out of the corner of her eyes to the other man, "him." she said, under her breath, almost silently, "but i cannot tell if he bears ill will or not."

Keirra watched as the drink was spilled, felt the pain from the woman, concern knitting her smooth brow. her face turned back to Randin's, looking regretful, "ah, understandable, detective." she tilted her head slightly, "hopefully we will have a chance to speak again?"

she made her way slowly to another table, sliding into a seat, keeping her mind fixed toward the woman and the detectives, making sure the woman was alright, and the detectives? she didn't have much else to do.

Keirra rubbed a cool hand across her smooth brow, touching the mark beside her right eye. she speaks under her breath, "Gala O Wyrda brunhvitr/Abr Berundal vandr-fodhr/Burthro lausblädar eja undir/Eom kona dauthleikr..."

and sighs, looking up with her eyes, leaving her head down. what adventures were unfolding in gambit's tonight? she let her gaze rest upon Ari, the woman's name she had heard previously. was she alright now?

Keirra runs a hand through her slightly tangled hair, sighing with exhaustion. more likely then not, she thought as she stood slowly, it was time to sleep.

she turned with a small smile and called out to Randin in goodbye, "Vinr Älfakyn," Elf Friend, "Atra esterní ono thelduin!" may good fortune rule over you. with a dip of her head, the elf turned to leave.

Keirra made her way into the somewhat quiet bar, green eyes scanning the room. there didn't seem to be any danger of being attacked this afternoon. a smile tugged at the elf warrior's lips as she strode to the bar, tapping in her order on the touch-screen.

moving to the left, she leaned against the bar, noting the patrons. her ride last night had been long and hard, and her body ached with it. she could easily heal herself, but had decided to deal with the mortal-like pain.

Keirra took a sip of her drink, watching the patrons, disinterested look on her face. gambit's was quiet, again.

curling her thick hair behind a pointed ear, the elven warrior leaned back to press a hand against the sore spot on the small of her back. i'll just heal it... she thought, why go through a mortal's pain? to be normal...?

Keirra noticed she was being ignored by the furry little garm, and straightened in her seat at the vampire picked him up. she raised a brow, tilting her head slightly in thought, "can you speak, little one?" she sent her voice into the creature's mind once more, watching for the man's reaction.

Keirra stopped immediately, hand to her lips. she had hurt him.. how was that? standing, she strode to the little creature, concern lining her face, "little one..." she said, touching it lightly on the back.

Keirra stood and turned to look at the clock, expression now one of annoyance, "ach. Wiol pömnuria ilian, i have to leave." straightening and touching the animal once more, sending it healing, hoping to undo the damage, she stepped lightly to the door, and slipped out into the sunshine.

Keirra strode into the bar, a streak of dirt.. and was that..? blood across her cheekbone. her long, tousled hair hung to the small of her back, brushing against her slim shirt.

the elven warrior sheathed the sword that she had clutched in her right hand, slowing her breathing. walking lithely to the bar's counter, she ordered a strong drink. moving over slightly, she leaned against the bar, watching the patrons with interest.

Keirra took her drink from the little robot with a small smile, lifting the glass, "elrun." she leaned back against the counter, crossing her long legs before her, pushing the thick brown curls behind a pointed elven ear.

her gaze slid across the bar, noting each of the patrons, full lips lifting in a sort of scowl as she listened to their emotions. raising a brow, she noted the incredible force of life emanating from the woman with the tattoo.

she felt the tiredness of the shooter, the "stay away" attitude from the man with the cigarette, and the calm from the Egyptian. she refrained from breaking through the barriers of their minds, but was attentive nonetheless. swirling the strong drink in it's frosted glass, she looked around for company.

Keirra looked out of the corner of her eye, noting the flames the young woman was creating. with what? drawing upon her inner strengths, the elf thought the word, "brisingr." a small flame formed in her hand, illuminating her bronze face. closing her hand, she extinguished the fire with a small smile.

turning to face the other woman, she said softly, "Kvetha Fricai," greetings, friend, "how do you create your fire?" the elven warrior narrowed her eyes, curious. the amounts of life flowing from the woman were incredible, amounts only felt in immortals like herself.

Keirra tilts her head slightly, "ah, Vinr Älfakyn?" she smiles and thinks the word again, flames licking at her fingertips, yet not touching them, "interesting. the life force emanating from you is immense. yet, you do not seem to be immortal, like us, the elven."

music reaches her pointed ears and her foot moves slightly to the tempo of it. elves have always had a weakness for art. glancing to her right, green eyes bright, she looks about the room. many dauthleikr in the bar tonight...
