Description
Kim 01 is a sentient Automaton constructed from the remains of a girl. But its not as the original creator had intended, it was a twisted creation. A soul lost halfway between the realm of peace and the torments of earth. Kim died, 10 years ago at the hands of burglars, and a grief ridden family rebuilt her, using her last shreds of humanity, they built it into Kim 01, a mechanical abomination. Behind it cold metal casing, all that remains of the original Kim is the heart, pumping rather than blood, a synthetic coolant.
So begins...
Kim 01's Story

Steam billowed out from one of the metal vents, the sound of mechanical clatter and of warm air escaping through cramp quarters echoed through the abandoned streets. A rusty can broke apart under the cold steel grip, met by a sigh of disappointment. It sounded somewhat like a young girl's but at the same time, it was foreign. Rather than coming from a human throat, with muscle and flesh to buffer the sound, it sounded more like the resolution of a Gramophone. It was filtered and tuned, yet still sounded off key. An eerie glow was cast over the area as dead eye processed everything. Nothing, no money, no scrap. Not even some trash worth a spit.
Kim 01 Again, absolutely nothing. Each time those eyes looked over the dirt. At some point long ago someone lived there. A rat scamped across, trailing dust and knocking over some cans.. The robot jumped at the sound and turned around. Her 'eyes' began to readjust to the darkness. Some half forgotten shade of memory leaped into her head. The darkness, the sound of a window breaking. The cool breeze entered and touched her skin. By reflex Kim reached up and touched her cheek, only to have the primitive sensory nerves on the tips of her fingers feel cold steel again. The memory receded back into the dark jumble of remembrance.
Kim 01 Twisted to look at the newcomers, the millions of working parts within her demented head shifted around and stared down the Alien. Her eyes shined with a crimson light, shining like the blood she lacked. Her mouth opened and a robotic symphony of chaos emerged, forming 01's voice.
"And Eye.. for an eye." She glared back into him, one of her fingers twitching it a way, with the sound of gears shifting. Another bit of steam emerged form the vent in her back, whooshing away into the cold night air.

Kim 01 blinked and shook her head. Something clinked in her neck and caused her to stop the motion abruptly. Her voice emitted again with the sound of rasping steel.
"Trying to find why I am here."
The automaton's feet remained completely rooted to their spot, the steel ringing against stone. Humans had... architectural flaws, something her, creators? Parents? Whatever they might be, had corrected. More gears shifted with a metallic screech, and steam billowed out again. Her technology was a bit.. outdated, but her central processing wasn't. Sentient AI could renew their programing constantly. Her advanced sensors could make note of something's moves and help her in recreation. Of course she was coming from a blank slate at the time...
"Trying to find why I am here."
The automaton's feet remained completely rooted to their spot, the steel ringing against stone. Humans had... architectural flaws, something her, creators? Parents? Kim 01 stared back into the Templar. Strange creature. Intelligent no doubt, but definitely foolish. Her Mind, was too far gone, and broken to make sense to any being. A vortex of nothingness and everything.
"I wouldn't recommend it."
Her eyes swiveled within their sockets to make the sights better. All her vision took place within multiple pains of vision,over a human's visible spectrum there was infrared and ultraviolet, somehow all managed into colors, beautiful colors. Of course, the concept of beauty was foreign to her mind.
"If you really wish to.. do so at your own....Risk."
"I wouldn't recommend it."

Kim 01 The robot stared into the psionic energy and began trying to process its particles. All her data bank came up with blanks. Her heart pumped the coolant, cooling down her systems. It wouldn't be hard to overheat, make herself dangerous to touch. But they weren't a threat yet, although the foreigners weren't a peace corps. they were warriors, fully armed and prepared. Kim subjected the fragments of sanity to the Dark Templar's viewing.
Kim 01 There was nothing cognitive among her memories. Just a flurry of memories. Typical little girl stuff, thrown into anything worth information to her. The nearest thing to be remembered was her on the ground. People, explorers of some sort moved over her, lithe calm movements, which Kim failed to recreate with such grace. The next cognitive step was of her walking about Wing City, hooded and cloaked. The Last memory was before the templars arrived. During all of this, 01 ran a systems check, checking to see what was up to date. She waited for the Templars to finish.
Kim 01 began the head shaking sequence. Her tinny voice emitted from her throat again.
"My combat programing is... incomplete. Systems, are not optimal."
A burst of vapor burst out of her back again, rising up into the air. More gears shifted within her, something... was registering within her, but she couldn't pull up her combat data bank. A lot of her hardware was damaged. Memories, Combat, Maintenance and some of her gear. Her Software was suboptimal too. She need to be re.. outfitted.
"Requesting combat assistance."

A burst of vapor burst out of her back again, rising up into the air. More gears shifted within her, something... was registering within her, but she couldn't pull up her combat data bank. A lot of her hardware was damaged. Memories, Combat, Maintenance and some of her gear. Her Software was suboptimal too. She need to be re.. outfitted.

Kim 01 's sights trained onto the Zealots. She was trying to observe them, learn their movements on a rudimentary level. She watched the aliens forms over the tool shed with another eyes, her steel face unmoving. Her mind couldn't quite seem match up what they were. Alien life forms did nothing but stress her systems further and she turned her focus back to the zealots. Her feet locked into the ground. 01 began to take vigorous notes of their movements, calculating how her joints could recreate the movements.
Kim 01 allowed her cooling systems to slow down. Her heart pumped slower, and she processed the punching and thrusts of the templars, adapting the jabs to her fists instead. As she steam and heat built up, she dashed forward breaking lines of the Zealots and Templars into the nearest Hydralisk, discharging the build up steam and heat into the skull shattering punch aimed at what appeared to be its face. Her gears groaned and squealed as she ran, steam billowing out from her fist once the first punch was thrown.
Kim 01 the steam continued to pump out of her vents and cracks in her armor. Her fist was newly dented and the heat coming off of her was enough to sizzle away the vapor from about her, making a frightening figure. Her mind stopped and moved the sequence, retreating back into a standing position and looking straight ahead.
"Command... acknowledged." Her body rotated, followed in short delay by her legs. Kim flexed out her scraped fist and something popped within it.
"Combat and Defensive Systems operating at 3% efficiency."

Warren Aulare was wandering aimlessly about when suddenly he smiled at the sky. For a moment he stood there and stared up into Terran Orbit. A satisfied nod and he turned on his heel with new direction. He thumbed at the die in his pocket as he made his way in to the city.
