Carlos Morales had a rather peaceful smile to his face as he walked into the scene. Somewhat adjusting the folds of his civilian clothes, the alter ego took a moment to really take in everything around him. Pineapple was a particularly interesting attraction in the bar room, the young man confessing that he had never seen something like it.

Somewhat pulling out a pair of sun glasses the man walked up to the bar and took a seat downward punching in a order for a beer to enjoy the early morning with. His mentor had told him he had a drinking problem at times, though he never truly believe it, a beer every morning couldn't possibly be too unhealthy would it?

Carlos somewhat playfully tapped along the surface of the counter, he rather enjoy the setting around him which was evident by the brief smile across his face. That smile slowly vanished though when he noticed a rather fidgety young woman moving behind the bar counter somewhat distressed. Something in Carlos wanted to answer that call of distress and somewhat running a hand through his head of hair he shifted his attention over to Sri.

"Is everything alright miss?" he asked simply enough offering a friendly smile to compliment the question.

Carlos almost froze up when he saw the other bar waitress sensually comfort her co-worker but the young man snapped himself out of it just as quick. He looked to the beer now in front of him and offered a kind smile and a nod of his own head "Thank you very much." was all he said as he used his own natural strength to open the bottle casually.

He looked to the very meek waitress and saw that she was currently speaking with a patron and the alter ego somewhat took his time to for her to finish up her other interaction, after all trying to hijack conversations was rather rude.

The order from the other patron did somewhat perplex him as he finally realize she was taking an order from a 6 foot tall wolf. Somewhat stroking his chin cautiously he took a relatively brief drink before keeping his amber eyes on the new coming wolf.

"Well, I suppose it is excellent weather for everything to be alright then." Carlos proposed to Sri as sort of a reply to her comment taking another sip of his drink. "Wouldn't you agree miss?"

Carlos gave pause as his eyes slightly lingered over to the newcomer and then shifted back over to the waitress. "In weather like this, myself and my family use to head to the beach. Such a beautiful ocean, such pristine sands it was very wonderful." he somewhat recalled chuckling at the thought actually as he took another drink.

He would introduce himself but it was then when he realize that three other people were trying to talk to her, and for her own relief he decided to patiently wait his turn. Something told him this girl did not like this matter of attention. Taking a rather refreshing drink he somewhat played with his hair again for a brief moment before staring outside the window.

Carlos turned his head back to Sri as she talked taking interest in what she said and taking some time to allow her to finish her wordings. Somewhat taking another drink of his beer he began to speak once more. "I am very sorry to hear that miss. My family has somewhat been some of the closest friends and companions I have every made in this world despite the fact that I could not stand them at times." He proposed almost playfully. Somewhat staring at his bottle again for a long moment he looked back up to Sri "Being here and them being else where just feels weird at times..."

With that said the man took some time for Sri to address the others who were talking to her and offering her help before she responded back somewhat taking another drink.

"It is very nice to meet you Sri, my name is Carlos." he added somewhat taking a drink of his beer. She was rather ill, very nervous and shy now something had happened to make her this way. Carlos was worried about her now, but he mentioned it he was certain he would merely scare her off, so he would have to be very patience.

"Keep those friends close to you Sri for there is a saying: 'Friends are the family you choose.'" If it meant helping her he would have rose from his seat and sit next to the other stranger and directly talk to her some more. But no, something told him a crowd of people around a table talking to her was not going to make her more comfortable.

So when Jerico made a gesture to join him he merely refused with a polite shake of his head.

Carlos was somewhat cautious when the complete stranger to him was offering the very nervous and unstable Sri something to drink. He had heard of men who take advantage of women with practically no friends, home or family and it was hard to nail these kinds of monsters down because they were targeting practically society's untouchables.

Still, perhaps the civilian dressed alter ego was being a bit too pessimistic after all some one as meek and shy as the woman before him, he doubt she would open up to someone without good reason to do so.

He gave her some time to walk over to the table before motioning to turn around from his seat and address her once more. Until she was no longer in sight, somewhat surprised she had just left. Still, he did not doubt this would be the last time he saw her and somewhat turned back to his drink only turning back around when he heard a large banging noise at the bar.

Carlos was not entirely sure what to make of the man that just walked into the bar room. He was indeed very good looking, but something about him just made the civilian very... unnerved. Diverting his attention away from Doryn Soulscar for a moment, he realize he only finished half his beer.

A light grin came to his face at the thought he had been talking to Sri and waiting on her so much that he never had much of a time to enjoy his drink. With a light smirk he moved to simply kill the beer, chugging it down as the refreshing though luke warm brew went down his throat and he placed it back on the counter feeling well.

A giant of a fellow walked through the bar of doors and it almost felt like he was looking at some matter of elite henchmen that Super Villains tend to hire to be their lieutenants or pasties. The feeling of nostalgia was strange but the young man motioned to try to not make a scene.

Somewhat glancing back to the other new comer Doryn Soulscar he merely offered a friendly smile and a nod of his head "Good morning." he simply greeted.

Carlos merely nodded his head once more at the grumbling patron. His jacket suddenly vibrated much to his shock and moved to pull out his cell phone from his pocket. He frowned a bit, it had appeared the team was sending out a mass text, there was something going on not so far from here. Silently cursing he hanged the phone up and turned his attention to the other newcomer.

"Hello as well, I am sorry, I would like to answer your question but something urgent has come up." He proposed and like that the man rushed out of the bar scene somewhat hailing a cab and getting in.

It was a semi average evening for Carlos Morales. The friendly department store worker had spent a good portion of his evening attending a vigil for the poor and needy in Side Alley and was somewhat walking to his apartment in the upper Wing City area.

With a bright smile across his face and almost a skip in his walk he saw the city streets were packed with people this evening and cars zoomed down the streets in every direction, and not just cars but carriages, hover transports, flying wizards and even tight wearing supers like himself.

The sight of another flying fellow in tights left a rather broad chuckle to his being but that chuckle was slightly disturbed by a rather suspicious scene. Within an alley not so far away, he could see a very large gathering of people almost crowded by what appeared a back door.

The civilian taking a subtle step into the alley and finding a good place to hide took notice that he was witness a time break in an assortment of rather shady looking characters where bundled up to a thief trying to pry open the doors with an assortment of tools. Taking out his cell phone he text the league of youth justice to inform the police of a break in at 7683 Alison Row and slowly began to change into costume.

Magma Torch could not entirely make out how a projectile flung into the nearby night time intruder. His amber eyes wandered upward for a moment as he sulked in his hiding spot somewhat catching a glimpse of the figure lurking the roof tops above and somewhat motioning to land on the other end of the building all in toll.

The thieves were not as curious to know what exactly attacked their now numbed compatriot pulling out what appeared to be powerful plasma based weaponry somewhat curious to know what every attacked them could melt before their faces.

The superhero could not scratch the feeling that there was another lurking somewhere around here as though a hidden observant to these events. Still, Carlos had to focus on the heist in progress and if these thieves were indeed as well armed as he saw he would have to pacify them before they started to shoot up the whole neighborhood.

Somewhat focusing himself he released a powerful wave of heat and fire around the edges of the two walls somewhat spooking the thieves that aimed their weapons at the other end of the alley where the hero was. "Ah shit! A mask! Blast em boys!" The somewhat numb thief bellow as they the group move to unload their plasma.

The hero ducted towards a nearby dumpster though the metal was quickly melting from the high energy blasts and taking a deep breath he fired pillars of flame that launched him in the air.

"Dangerous weapons like that should not be in the hands of such trigger happy people." Carlos commented with a grin as he moved to fire another pillar as a warning shot above the heads of the thieves causing a few to get to the ground in shock.

Magma Torch took a keen inspection of the man that just killed in front of his eyes. This was the last sort of thing the super hero wanted and everything within him told him he had to end this fight soon. The other thugs now took relative positions around the alley taking shots at both him and the mysterious figure on the other side.

He counted four still up and with a very fast motion he landed on top of the nearby fire exit somewhat creating some flames around the pants and shoes of his opponents. Somewhat horrified by the encroaching flames the two that tried to swat it out was pummeled by the mere fast force that passed by them to the ground dazed.

The masked hero somewhat flying towards the other end so to his disbelief a woman in scarlet red aiming a sidearm from her end of the alley at those inside. "Friends of yours?" he asked somewhat flying further upward to avoid the wild shots fired at him.

Magma Torch somewhat flinched at the sudden eruption of the grenade as he landed on top of the ledge of the building. Somewhat inspecting the scene after the brief explosion he saw the rest of the men on the ground and the sounds of sirens in the background most likely the police that he had called in a brief while ago.

The superhero somewhat turned back to Lake One as he listen to her dealings before answering back "I wanted to prevent those thieves from breaking inside, and they have not broken inside." He simply answered. "Thank you for the warning about the grenade." he also commented politely.

Magma Torch could not help but continued to soar across the skies, his amber eyes inspecting the old tenantry bellow. He somewhat felt obligated to this new home of his, a home which he had slowly began to grow concern and attached to every day. It was about this time when the bright figure which soared at great lengths across the skies caught sight of a very familiar figure bellow.

If this had been any other evening he would have diffidently approach the fellow superhero, greet him, make idle chat, but after what had happened within the locker room he was extremely uncertain. A relative blush and fluster came across the masked man's face at the mere thoughts that had happened, somewhat shocked on how hullimilated he had become and at the same time excited.

He purposely passed across the alley for now, stealthly dropping on a fire escape before he almost felt like breaking down. He NEVER had wanted anyone else on the team to see him like this, being the oldest and possibly most recognized member of the youth league of justice he was always looked up to as a mature and almost virtious adult. . . how was he suppose to face Elijah now?

Magma Torch heard the voice as though getting closer to the roof before he could react there he was again, this time in costume. His face was blank, slightly surprised even disguised under a mask as he merely stared at the young man before. ". . .Elijah. . ." was all the other masked crime superhero replied.

His stance was awkward and somewhat timid as he merely glanced to the floor as he leaned upon the edge of the roofing.

Magma Torch gave a relative silence about himself as he merely grasped both of his arms, he couldn't face the Black Fox, not even within the eyes. "I. . ." Then came a question that somewhat shocked him. His eyes slightly widen as he could not help but feel somewhat sorry for him.

Without saying a word he motion over to place a gentle hand across the heroes' cheek somewhat motioning to unmasking his friend so he could look him deeply in those piercing blue eyes. "Elijah. . . No. . .No I do not." He confessed before he could not bare keep courage in face.

Magma Torch was unsure how to approach this, this entire situation was nerve racking since the moment his bag was spilled all across the gym's floor those few days pass. Finally Magma Torch decided to do what he felt was right, he decided to be a team leader.

"Yes, but you told me it was a mistake Elijah... Look, we are all human and we all make mistakes. How we react to them afterwards..." There was a pause as he offered The Black Fox his mask once more. "Is what defines us."

He was somewhat draw back by the statement somewhat looking to his own finely muscled body before snapping out of it and returning his gaze to Elijah. "I..." The superhero was once again speechless somewhat caught completely off guard by the confession of attraction.

Finally he found the words holding the hero within his arms and offering a simple kiss on the cheek. "Its okay. I understand." Before he unloosen his hold on the younger hero.

Magma Torch resided in a small cheap loft that the costumed hero had used as a safe house right above the department store he worked in. He stood in a newspaper ridden kitchen mending a bullet wound he suffered tonight that wedged into his own bronze arm as he was right next to a police frequency receiver.

He had to constantly mend his own wounds and with the more and more scars he received visibility meant more and more stories to tell to his friends and co-workers and by compression more time to spend making those excuses plausible. It was time like this that made Magma Torch merely wonder why in the world he didn't just join the Wing City Police Department already?

And in all honestly his answer was a bit of selfish familiarity. He was human after all despite these powers and it was simply more comfortable and he could use these powers more to the common good if he did it anonymously. Thoughts lingered across his mind as he was digging into flesh for shrapnel...tuning the police radio for any disturbances within the area.

Magma Torch raised his head upward in slight surprise as he heard the dismay of the street bellow. Without uttering a word the somewhat shirtless masked man motioned over to his own blind and saw a sight he swore he had not seen in a very long time. "This can't possible be real." he heard himself say, not after everything else he encountered.

Yet there it was, as clear as day: A open flashy super powered crazed sociopath in a colorful costume was causing terror and open crime. He saw the people scattering in all directions and portions of the street was being destroyed.

Without uttering a word the Superhero looked to his arm, still infected and not fully treated but he would have to risk it for now. He grabbed the top of his costume and began to climb up the stairs to the top building of the building, applying the costume back on as he tried to get a better look of the mayhem from the top floor.

Magma Torch saw this issue from above as the armored van motioned to make its getaway. The superhero's body glow brightly as he ascended into the air in bright flight somewhat pursuing the vehicle trying to make it's escape. The masked man somewhat took a glance back at the small hole in his arm and costume revealing a deep purplish hue. . .A frown was the reply for a moment before he brushed that off.

He quickly descended downward to get good range of the van aiming his arms over to attempt to produce bright heat across the four tires trying to literally mend the set to the road prompting the van to stop mid plight.

Magma Torch used to believe in banter, he honestly did one time, a time before being transported to this extremely unusual place. Yet with even the most common of car thieves trying to blow his brains out the moment he try to make a witty come back at them the appeal of it all quickly died out.

He only took a good look at the man before him as he observe the obstacles around him, knowing that merely charging up and punching him not be the best of strategies. Instead the hero fired a pillar of flame over a nearby fire hydrant bursting it open and producing a thick smog of steam to provide ample conceal for his next move. By the look of that arm it seemed quite possible he could be avoiding salvanting plasma burn.

Magma Torch landed near the van as the thick smog could only reveal the would be hijacker entering the van. For what purpose the masked man was unsure of but it certainly provided a ripe opportunity. Raising his arms upward he fired off another pillar of flame to quickly attempt to enclose the back of the armored vehicle.

If successful the hero would position himself in the obscuring fog of steam wait for the villain to emerge outward. Hopefully it would be the only time when he have to drop his guard, and if it was the masked man was confident he would supply a punch strong enough in the gut to wind the hijacker for a brief moment.
