History

Nagumi was born in a small town in Iowa to normal parents. He father was a military man and a well known scientist, being stationed at a research facilty. Her mother was a stay at home mother. She lived a normal life until she turned 15. On that day, her father alerted her to the fact that they were going to move to a military base in Japan. Nagumi wasn't thrilled, to say the least, and rebelled out against her parents in anger. When she finally succumbed to her parents wishes, she packed her bags and they headed across seas to Japan. Nagumi immediately made friends and continued to live out her teenage years like a typical teenager. After high school, he father offered her a position at the lab he worked at. Here, she learned of the Gundam project and the fact that they were actively screening students for piloting abilities. Surprised to find that she was not on the lists, she asked her father about it, who reluctantly told her she had been a prime candidate, but he had removed her from the list. She convinced her father to allow her to join the program and instantly become top of her class. Now, she commands her division and screens new candidates at the local college, in disguise as a fellow student. Her call sign is "Mother" due to her nurturing attitude and a failed pregnancy she endured in her final teen years.

“ Her shoes made a rhythmic clicking sound as she marched down the spaceport's boardwalk. Various vendors and street artists lined the walkway, a small pink cell phone pressed to her ear, covered by her flowing, maroon hair trailed behind her. She appeared to have just left a private school, based on her attire. She sported a plaid skirt and a white dress shirt with a tie, the only thing out of place were her designer glasses that glinted in the sunlight.

"Don't worry, Dad... I'll be able to tell which one he is... I know exactly what he'll look like... these hired thugs all look the same...", she spoke into the phone as she smiled as a confused vendor who had overheard part of her conversation. "Yes, Dad... I know... Yes... I brought the book just in case...", she assured her father. (C) ”

“ They had planned on using an Advanced Applied Sciences book as a signal to notify the mercenary that they had made the correct contact. She thought it was stupid and kept the book in her bag, which was hanging at her side. With a final exasperated "Yes, Daddy...", she hung up the cell phone and sat down on a bench, next to a woman eating pretzels. "Ugh... parents...", she grunted as she smiled at the woman. (E) ”

Nagumi Yamata nodded in understanding and spoke, "Here on business, huh?" She brought her brown bag onto her lap and rummaged through it vacantly, "My father is sending some guy to escort me home..." She glanced at the woman and added, "I've never met him... Guessing he'll be some big dumb brute..." She pulled a large book out and held it in her lap, the title hidden from view. "What do you do for work?", she asked as she gaze back and forth down the walkway.

Nagumi Yamata smirked and nodded, "That has to suck... Oh! No thanks." She waved a hand kindly show she didn't want a pretzel, grabbing the book and flipping it over to show the title. "What's your company involved in? Investments?", she asked as she looked down the path again. "My father works in the military...", she turned and smiled at the woman adding, "... Science stuff..." She was beginning to become angry that the contact wasn't there on time and kept it hidden quite well. She usually put on a front to most people out of work, seeming like an innocent normal college girl.

Nagumi Yamata instantly changed her composure, seeming more serious and unfriendly as she placed the book back in her pack. "And here, I thought you were late...", she said as she stood up. "And by the way... I am the field commander that will be giving you orders while you are working here.", she explained, ignoring the question. She turned and outstretched a hand professionally, "Ms. Nagumi Yamata... Pleasure to be working with you." Every word she spoke seemed to be like it was read straight from a boring script.

Nagumi Yamata raised a brow at her refusal to shake hands. She took a deep breath and pulled out her cell phone, clicking auto dial and pressed it to her ear. She turned her back to the girl and waited a moment before speaking, "Command Alpha Theta Zero Zero Six... Mother has acquisition. Transport cargo to Alpha hanger." She didn't say goodbye, only hung up and turned back to the girl. "Your transport has been relocated... Come with me and I will show you to HQ.", she commanded, leaving a sort of "you don't have a choice" sound in her voice. "By the way... From this moment on, you will refer to me as Mother when civilians aren't present.", she explained.

Nagumi Yamata nodded and smirked slightly, "I understand your meaning... It is my call sign." She turned and nodded towards a public restroom with locked service door on the side. "You must understand... We had to move your unit in via underground transport. Can't have giant robots in a spaceport!", she spoke the last statement jokingly as she smiled at a small kid, exiting the bathroom. She walked over tot he service door and touched the padlock with her thumb as it glowed blue under her touch, the door sliding up into the wall above the frame. "Quick now... Can't let everyone see...", she said as she patted the older girl on the rear.

Nagumi Yamata nodded again as she followed the girl into the service door. The door slammed down, plunging them into instant darkness. Nagumi reached over and cupped her hand over the woman's butt cheek, "Stay close now..." The room lurched and descended into even more darkness. "We're going pretty deep, so I'll brief you on the way.", she explained as she gently squeezed the woman's butt. "You were hired to assist me in a mission... We don't have any other people to dedicate to this mission, thus it was important to find someone capable. The current task is to infiltrate a mid ocean frigate and obtain a prototype lepton shield generator. With hadron technology blossoming its important to be on top of defense." She acted as if what she was doing to the girl was completely normal and slid her hand down to place a single finger back between her legs. "Hope we can become good friends...", she said as she removed her hand, the room entering a large facility.

Nagumi Yamata stepped off the lift as it settled on the floor. It was as if they went down into an underground city. The ceiling was high enough to test aircraft and there was a large paved clearing for testing other forms of transport. "Everything you'd ever need for testing and creating weapons can be found down here.", she explained as she approached a man in a white uniform.

"How did she react?", the doctor asked.

Nagumi laughed, "She didn't fight me... but hardly anyone does..."

The doctor laughed and approached the woman, "I'll need to inoculate you. The testing down her can be hazardous. This is a vaccine for all the currently known forms of chemical and biological warfare." He held out a pneumatic syringe, "It just clicks and its done, not even a mark." He held the device out as Nagumi stood, watching a large flatbed transport haul the woman's Gundam.

Nagumi Yamata assured the woman, "Don't worry... Bob is a great driver. Hey Bob!!" She waved at the transport and smiled, wide and happily. The window of the transport rolled down and a single robotic arm released the wheel and waved back, causing the vehicle to drift to the right.

"Watch the road, Bob!", the Doctor yelled. The robotic arm regained control of the transport and corrected its coarse. "Now, young lady... This shot.", he advised. "You need this other wise the money is worthless." He looked at her seriously, "It's a little hard to enjoy the cash when you're busy dying of the worst diarrhea you've ever imagined."

Nagumi nodded and smirked, "It's true... I've seen it happen." She turned away and waved at Bob again, who was again waving back at her. She had taught the machine to wave and the technicians regretted it ever since.

Nagumi Yamata turned and nodded, "Yep, she was really pretty too... at first." She turned her attention back to the transport, which was coming to a stop at a large platform.

"Mother... That's enough of that...", said the Doctor, shaking his head. "She's just trying to scare you... She was a very ugly girl to begin with...", he added. He held up the pneumatic syringe. "There isn't even a needle, dear... It injects it straight into the skin."

Nagumi shrugged and watched as the platform opened and the transport drove into the base, leaving the mech as if laying upon a pedestal.

“ The Doctor pressed the syringe against the back of the woman's hand and clicked the mechanism, releasing a slight click and a cold feeling on her skin. "There... All done.", he assured her as he wiped the surface of the skin with a swab. "Mother cried when she got hers...", he added.

Nagumi turned abruptly, "I did not!!" She turned red in the face and pushed the woman towards her mech, "Well, go get her set up!" She turned and stuck a tongue out at the smiling Doctor.

Many other platforms lined the area, each covered with a canvas. One, however had a large object underneath the canvas. "There's mine over there... At least... Mine until they finish designing my new one...", he boasted. ”

Nagumi Yamata scowled and glared at the Nadiyya, "To keep the dust off it!" She looked at her watch and then up at the control tower, "We have to leave at 0200 hours... So that gives us about twelve hours to get ready and rested."

She nodded and pointed at a large building to the end of the hanger area, "Those are the dorms... They haven't furnished most of the rooms... So you'll be bunked with me..." She grinned and patted Nadiyya's butt again, "What do you think of that idea, eh?"

Koishi Komeiji stood in the Wing City space port, once more caught within an unfamiliar area, swaying softly as she walked - each step accompanied by her humming. She was alone - as per her usual predicament - and watching all of the surrounding nobodies go about their daily business. A carefree smile was plastered upon her face like it always was, her hands behind her back while she thought to herself. Certainly, people around these parts are interesting. Especially since there are quite a few foreigners here visiting Terra from afar! Curiously, she watched those around her.

A wind swept her hair as Spyri disembarked her new friend's strange, but awesome, vehicle. She grinned at Prince Niku and jerked a thumb over her shoulder at the looming Spaceport. There were guaranteed to be answers inside. In the air above, ships of all kinds arrived and departed. There was a sleek golden one ascending out of high orbit. Looking close she noticed it charge up to warp out. Spyri gave a whoop as it disappeared into thin air.

“This is where I came in,” Niku indicated, peering around at the impressive ships. They were all designed so differently than the ones in his corner of the galaxy. He stayed on his vehicle and drove slowly after Spyri, intending to take his kilitholulgulth with him wherever they went. It did have the ability to fold up, after all. “Tell me, were you born on this planet? You seem not intimidated at all by idea of venturing into space. I sense you have done such before,” he remarked, eyes widening at the sight of the ship that had just hit warp drive.

Suddenly, he felt himself shudder. Remembering his dream from the night before, he glanced around suspiciously in hope that they would not encounter any Aschen. He sniffed the air and his ears flicked around as he watched and listened. He turned the volume down on his translator slightly and leaned over toward the girl he had come with. “We must make sure our route does not enter Aschen territory,” he uttered to Spyri. “I think some extra caution is wise.”

“I am sorry to hear of what become of your people. I do not know what I do if it happened to the feliyans. Not sure I would want to go on living,” Niku lamented. His greatest fear was that it would, in fact, happen to the feliyans. For all he knew, Emperor Pit might be committing a genocide upon them right now in revenge for the crown prince fleeing his master. He could only hope they would be okay until his return. Niku walked with his hoverbike by his side as they moved up in line, noticing as the officials seemed confused by what Spyri had presented them.

He picked up the golden paper, scanning the inscription with his universal translator. “It says I am invited to study Multiversal Energy Constructs at the Temple of Giana, coordinates on the back,” he said, turning the page over. He read out the coordinates. “Fascinating… With my translator, it is hard to tell languages apart. I wonder what tongue this is written in. Oh, but, now we know that this is where we must go,” he added, pointing to the coordinates.

The young prince grew alarmed the moment that Spyri shoved him around the corner. He peeked back around stealthily and noticed the parade that had alarmed her. The familiar uniform worn by the many officers had him literally biting his nails through his white gloves. “Oh, no! We need to get out!” he whispered loudly, yanking his bike around the corner too along with them. He hit a button on his wrist controls and it started to fold up into a compact form, which he easily lifted up like an oversized piece of luggage. It even had a handle on it for convenience. The feliyan remained in a crouched position among the crowd, hoping that his ears or tail would not give him away. He wrapped the latter around his waist.

Then he slapped himself on the forehead. “I am fool. I should have thought to bring disguise,” he murmured to himself. Suddenly, he gasped, remembering something. He opened a compartment on his compact kilitholulgulth and pulled out a royal red cape, unfolding it. “Ah, ha!” he said, wrapping it around himself like a cloak. At the very least, it would conceal the most recognizable traits of his race, the ears and tail. The slitted felinoid eyes would not be a problem so long as he was not looking in any Aschen’s direction. He would have to be discreet. When Spyri whispered their location to Niku, he fervently nodded and immediately started to follow her, also doing his best to blend into the crowd. “It leaving soon? We best hurry.”

The feliyan took the pamphlet and scanned it. “Hm,” he said, thinking out loud. “This must be stop on way to final destination. Should be interesting.” He started looking through it, scanning the text as he went and examining the pictures. “There is something called botanical garden with strange plants. I hope they have tasty animals too,” he remarked, stashing the pamphlet in a compartment of his ‘luggage.’ Keeping his head low and his cloak wrapped around him, he peered around through narrowed eyes in hope that the Aschen were not around the terminal.

It was hard for Niku to overhear conversations cause the translator only translated little snippets here and there until one voice was overpowered by another louder voice. It was very disorienting. He wished he could shut it off because it made it more difficult for him to hear whatever Spyri might be trying to say. He considered tinkering with it later on to see if he could get it to zero in on a particular voice, but that would have to wait until later.

Something occurred to Niku and he turned his attention to Spyri again. “Hey, I have been meaning to thank you for acting as guide. I realize now I would not have a chance of finding this chi master without such assistance,” he said, wanting to slap himself on the forehead again. He really had had a very bare bones escape plan when he had fled from Emperor Pit. Some might think him stupid, but it was more out of desperation than stupidity. While he obviously had no idea what he was doing, he really had little other choice after being given an order to commit a certain unspeakable act for the tyrant’s entertainment. He had been ordered to do terrible things before, but this last command went beyond what even he could bring himself to do. For some reason, when he looked at Spyri, it reminded him of his reason for leaving and it made him shudder, not wanting to reflect on the past. “Anyway, if we are successful in this quest, I will see to it that you are heavi
