"Gods it looks like hell down there" stated Priestess as her fleet of medivac dropships approached Solinus City.

"Damn outsiders..." Muttered a TLA trooper.

"They can kill themselves for all I care we have to get these people out."

"Ma'am we don't have enough..."

"Then we take more trips we are Terra's protectors and today we fucking prove it! For Terra! For the Liberation!"

The dropships descended from the sky flanked by gunships for defense. "Scan for life signs as soon as you find civies land and secure them quickly troopers will cover the medics don't let those bastards take anymore of our people." Ordered Priestess as she watched her ships desend.

About that time a TLA cruiser appeared with a squadron of viking fighters "The general sent us to cover you ma'am we got your backs"

"Thank the Gods now let's get to work."

Draco's tail engaged the Warden, likely easily overpowering and defeating the undead Armor again and again, as it lacked a learning mind. From Draco's body flew millions of Duradaeden swords, clones of the two that Draco used in his human form. Coursing with Draconian Lightning, which was proven to penetrate even the Emperor's Armor. The Swords would be used to try and overwhelm and pin down the Warden, where the Shadows would boil to live beneath the armor and try to drag it down to the Abyss, where the corruption would spread, regardless of holy intentions.

A gurgling roar was heard as Draco's throat, one of the softest parts of his Draconian body, was pierced by the Emperor's blade, snarling, the wound oozed pure Shadow, black sludge. "Your own power destroys your body, and you claim to be an All-Powerful Emperor..." Draco's claw, which was previously assaulted by the undead, unbroken Warden, the scales merely scratched and cracked, albeit still bleeding from the damage, moved to back-hand the Emperor lightning fast before the Massive Dragon reared up onto his haunches again, numerous ships from the Terran Liberation Army lLamming into his body and exploding on impact, those that survived would find absolutely nothing left of the city, the multiple salvos of the Drakon had left the city nothing but a series of 90-Meter deep craters, and Draco's Shadow Burial Spell had deprived the area of any life entirely.

The TLA was much too late to do anything of use.

His throat rumbled and the Emperor's sword pulsed out, pushed by the Magic within Draco's body as the wound began to seal itself, the black sludge hardening and pulling the skin back together. Darkness blackened the area around Draco as it then was pulled to his maw, which glowed with unholy retribution.He slammed down on his front legs and lowered his head as if he were about to hurl something from his belly onto the field of battle, and then slowly, opened his mouth. A small, Black ball with a White outline floated out of his maw and hovered there.

The Dragon then Flapped his great wings once, causing Sonic Booms and wind disturbances for the next two square miles around him, and hopped about two Kilometers away from the ball, which then drastically expanded.

"Shadow Bomb!"

Spreading out for a Kilometer and a half was a great orb of Shadowfire so pure that not even Draco would be able to survive it for longer than a few seconds. The Sheer Darkness one saw looking into it was enough to make any above-normal man Hallucinate vividly as its mind tries to comprehend what it can, or in this instance, cannot see. The Ground would be left un touched, but everything above it would be disintegrated without pause nor mercy.

Folding his wings back agaisnt his body, Draco decided it was time to take his leave. Soon, his entire body turned into the black Sludge of pure Shadow, and would collapse in on itself like melting chocolate. As it did so, the Magic would seep into the ground, like water into the dry ground of the desert, and vanish completely, the sky beginning to clear, revealing nothing but a desolate wasteland filled with Death.

The Emperor had no fear of this last attack Draco threw at him hoping to wipe them out as he ran away. This attack pales in comparison to the Warp, and the horrors it has. Using his psychic powers, he easily sends himself and his whole army to the safety of orbiting ships. Safe from the ground. The city itself now being consumed by destruction.

Orbiting platforms aimed Nova Cannons at the Mountains and fired their payloads at the area to give them their own parting gift before all orbiting forces remained on high alert. Forces mobilizing and regrouping. The battle was over on the ground but the war began.

"This is the Imperium of Man to the Terran Liberation Army. As you can see we already have engaged these forces which made target practice of this city. An entire city lost to the evil that plagues this world. Hear us now, these 'outsiders' have already done our best to save this city. Where were you when the enemy attacked the defenseless? where were you as we spilled out blood in battle? We are the Imperium of Man, sworn protectors of humanity. Even in times of this election we remain ever vigilant against all enemies of man. The people here are lost, but we ensured their deaths did not go unheard as you all sit around ever ignorant of their pleas for help...Yo uare no longer needed in this area, say your prayers of worship to the dead now..." A vox communication spoke to the Terran Liberation Fleet before cutting off their transmition so they could not respond to them.

Yet another attack forced back to lick their wounds, the Imperium once again fights for humanity in the face of a grave threat. This would already spread popularity during this election. That they continued to fight to defend everyone.

stood amongst the destruction and the aftermath the blackened armour and flaming construct that the imperial knight had become, its head glancing over the blasted landscape, and slowly it began to walk, and one moment looking towards it and then away, it would be gone. fading from realspace. its duty commited though the soul within bound to forever defend humanity and destroy the enemies of mankind.

the words whispered on the wind by the voices of all who had fallen that day in the fight against the shadow.

What is the terror of death
That we die, our work incomplete
What is the joy of life
To die knowing our task is done

" Fuck the Imperium once again a damn outside war takes Terran lives... Inform the General of what happened here and tell her to be prepared for the Imperium to spew bullshit" spoke Priestess glaring at the massacre before her.

The Imperium may have cut off thier line but the TLA had their own speakers that carried over the city from their ships "You can not silence us Imperium! No mater what you or that damn dragon said we will not lose hope and will continue our mission here even if what you and the dragon say is true we will not leave the dead to rot we will give them the rights they deserve and the closure thier loved ones will need. You may gather your fallen Imperium but do not hinder our duty to the fallen of Terra."

Priestess then turned to her crew " begin landing the ships send out parties to scan for life and teams to gather the fallen. Also have the mages scan for anything that dragon may have left behind I want no more surprises."

"What of the Imperium? "

"Now is not the time to battle them...and not the way the General wishes to handle them for now...If they attack us we defend ourselves but we start nothing."

"Fools...They don't even recognize this outsider threat lives on their own planet...The fallen are already dragged to their realm now...There is no corpses...only the cries of the dead and the damned...Blinded by such material views that they do not understand what great danger lurks. I pity them, yet I envy their ignorance." The ship captain spoke as Imperial assets on the grounds began to border off the city for threat of corruption.

Soon Imperial assets in orbit and in the air took off, they did not even attempt to search for survivors. For either they have already been dragged away or all trace of them extinguished. Such was the way of war against such immaterial foes, no mercy for the dead...not even death is the end for many...

The great C’tan star god watched the battle of Solinus from orbit, the devastation, the slaughter, it no longer filled him with a sense of joy?. But a sickening feeling of disgust in his non-existent heart, the darkness that overcame the land as the battle reached its climax and then the soft silence that had fallen over the battlefield after.

He looked to the imperial battleships he hid amongst warping their auger array readings to keep himself hidden, was a simple task when he was their so called ā€˜machine spirit’ he stopped leaving the imperium’s ships alone and flew down into atmosphere with haste, glowing like a meteorite as he tumbled towards the surface of terra, the Necormundis shell of his silvery body glowing hot but not warping, as he reached 15000ft he slowed his descent, though continued his flight towards the battlezone. Watching as the TLA ships landed and began searching for survivors he soon came into land slow and steady, he needn’t do additional damage to an already damaged and scarred land he looked about, landing upon a clear strip of road, the rubble around him now Mag’ladroth just watched silently lifting rubble away from a collapsed building with one of his fore hands/feet. Standing at twenty metres in height and about 120 metres from nose to tail, he had shrunk his form down to fit amongst the streets and rubble.

ā€œto think there was a time, i would be at the head of such destructionā€ the Dragon’s head turned to look upon the terrans who were going about their duties to their homeworld. Though...any magic effect or psychic presence left by the imperium or the shadow legion would be abolished by the mere presence of Mag’ladroth, though this was only as long as they were in his presence...which was well...felt for tens of mile.

The TLA forces moved though the city ruins some of them breaking down in tears as they found remians or belongings of loved ones. This is what the imperium could never see the loss the sorrow of seeing your own people your own family dead. The bodies where placed in body bags to be identified and returned to family as the priests and healers whispered prayers and cast spells to prevent the bodies coming back as undead.

"So much loss so much death..." Priestess stated as she walked though the ruins.

A light flashed though the sky.

" What in the Hells is that?!"

It took form...

"Dragon!"

The TLA worked quickly ships and troops rushing to where the dragon landed the cruiser in the sky locking it's guns on the creature as the TLA forces moved to surround it.

" That lizard has some balls landing here after what it's friend did" growled Priestess as she moved toward the dragon with her troops.

The metallic beast reared its head looking down at the TLA soldiers closing in on it, Mag’ladroth paid them no mind, pulling some rubble up and putting the clawed hand full under himself where it was clear of anyone.

ā€œIf you’re here to try and save these people, get on with it, i’m no threat to your kindā€ the dragon’s voice was ancient and gravely, unused for millennia, continuing to clear away rubble with the one hand, a pile of rock and rubble forming underneath himself. Green lightning arcs scatter across his central form and along his wings and back, one eye watching whom he saw as the leader, the emerald energy that made up the eye, focusing on the one woman.

ā€œYou lead these mortals?ā€ he continued digging, watching what he was doing more than focusing on the troops around him, he sought not to harm anyone. Or anyone of the mortals present.

The troopers of the TLA kept thier weapons trained on the dragon covering it from all sides as Priestess stepped forward. "One of your kind just destroyed this city so forgive us if we don't trust that you wish us no harm... And I lead this force yes but I have one that is higher then me it is she that leads us all. We are The Terran Liberation Medical corps part of the Terran Liberation Army. They call me Priestess."
Priestess paused then asked "So dragon why are you here and why should I not order my troops to destroy you?"

ā€œbecause attacking me would get you nowhere but your own destruction...even that ship in the sky can’t harm me, and as for what i am, i am a C’tan a being as old as the creation of the universe itself, this form i have, was created by an ancient race known as the Necrontyr. One could say i’m just a mockery of such ancient beasts.ā€

Mag’ladroth had finished digging out the rubble he had been busying himself with and began scooping up wounded and unconscious civilians, laying them down for the TLA medics to tend to the people he had dug free.

ā€œPriestess, i am Mag’ladroth… now let us not waste anymore time, keep your ship's guns aimed at me if you so wish.ā€ he continued digging through rubble never moving to place his weight on any unexposed road or cleared area.

Priestess blinked as she watched Mag'ladroth "You're helping us?" She asked shocked not sure what to do for a few moments before ordering " get back to work search every damn nook and cranny"
The troops looked at each other for a moment before Priestess shouted "Now!" They then scattered searching the city with renewed hope.

"Why do you aid us when the other destroyed us?" Priestess asked Mag'ladroth.

ā€œ...ā€ he didn’t really know himself to be truthful, but it felt like he had to ā€œerasing old sinsā€ a few hundred people saved wasn’t going to change the fact he consigned untold billions to destruction in millennia past.
Carving a pathway for himself through the rubble as he moved forward always careful of people to be saved, the thought of simply reversing the effects of the battle, erasing the damage dealt from time was all to alluring.

But no that would threaten the sanity and Terrans of the TLA, continuing to aid them by shifting larger columns and lumps of rubble, so the smaller beings could get into the gaps and pull anyone free, for now Mag’ladroth’s presence denied the shadow any souls, his presence alone a nullifier to magics and psykers alike, only those he didn’t want using magic that is and so he refrained from nullifying and blocking the TLA mages from their powers.

Coming to the edge of a crater he’d look into it and around ā€œsuch barbaric fools the lot of them. his head turned back towards Priestess. ā€œi must ask what the goals of your liberation army are?ā€ he waited at the edge of the crater looking back into it as the water pipes and sewage drained into it filling the bottom. Sadly for the void dragon, he had a sense of smell.

"Our goal is to see a Terra ruled by Terrans to protect the people of Terra from the foreign powers that have done nothing but bring war and taken us over with thier honey words and seemingly good deeds. The rulers of Terra have let this Imperium grow unchecked and we wish to put them back in check." Priestess said then looked to the sky and sighed. " The General hopes to do this though the election...I hope she can bring us together peacefuly but we are an army for a reason and will fight to achieve our goals if we must."

He nods ā€œi understand your beliefs in that regard, but that would mean after i have finished aiding you here, that i should leave also, as am i an outsider, in the current frame of timeā€ Mag’ladroth did plan on leaving once he had done all he could to help, there were quieter places where he could rest in peace. ā€œand what election?, excuse me my ignorance though i have just arrived or escaped my tomb on mars.ā€

The metallic dragon would jump off the edge of the crater and take off hovering above it looking across the city, as he flapped his wings the arcs of green electricity jumped between the blades that made up the wings and his body, the wings need not be used he hovered mostly stationary, it might have been an old habit to treat his wings like wings.

"Election for Wing City Mayor the General hopes to win so that we can have the city and can gather more to our cause. As for outsiders we don't actually mind the ones that help and trade. It's the ones like the imperium that bother us. Ones that think they are the law and take over when it should be us true Terrans that rule with foreigners obeying our rules not us obeying theirs." Explained Priestess.

The TRA continued looking for survivors in the ruins pulling them from the wreckage.

The medievac dropships of the TLA filled the sky. Each landing and unloading the wounded and the dead from Solinus City.

Priestess entered the hospital with her medics walking up to the desk " We have a lot of dead and wounded coming in from the battle at Solinus City we medics and healers of the Terran Liberation Army can aid the staff here in healing the wounded and identifying the fallen so any loved one may claim them and give them the proper rights."

Even as she spoke the TLA and hospital staff worked double time to find places for the wounded to be taken care of. Doctors, nurses, and medics all working together to save as many life's as they could.

Meanwhile the troopers of the TLA and thier cruiser in the sky watched over the hospital making sure no threat could get to these already suffering people.

In wing city's underlayer below the hospital the place its unfortunate inhabitants self-deprecatingly called the "Meat Locker" had little to do but rest. Some simply asked to remain in stasis but the Jinhai had to bring them back to thought periodically so their minds did not decay. The seats of mankind that were salvageable remained here as Jinhai collected the bodies of recently dead throughout the city. Prioritization was certainly in order, from their perspective, but they had a limited amount of spare parts with which to rebuild children thanks to Gaia. Sadly one predated the Aetherkind's effect on the city and was left untouched. The Jinhai advanced their own equipment to provide for her and allowed the child to roam so that stasis did not inhibit the Humankind's growth.

A crushed body and mind held alive on a lucent dias within a soothing dim room inside the meat locker woke from her dream. Eileen popped into existence a translucent astral projection enabled to serve the mind as a body. It nearly scared a mortuary worker to death and Eileen fled upstairs. She ended in a closed cafeteria in the dead of night, having simply phased through locked doors, and was busily eating muffins from the break room.

Her dark eyes looked about as visible muffin bits in her mouth that slowly turned to ectoplasm and vanished. A thought came to her with the end of a bite of muffin. She needed milk for her muffins! The misty lower half pointed parallel to the floor as she pushed a stool with muffins atop it over to a closed ice box.

"I want milk too, Mr Muffin!", a hollow child's voice echoed against the tile.

Priestess sighed "I don't have time for this... Mysti go deal with this find out what they want then get them out."

Mysti and her squad left headed for the lobby hearing the sounds of the commander Priestess yelling about getting the damn elevator working. Mysti sighed and shook her head.
The sounds of trooper's boots where heard as Mysti and her men entered the lobby.

"Welcome to the Wing City Hospital." Mysti said to the group " I'm Mysti archmage of the Terran Liberation Army... Wing City Hospital, this was apparently where the magic happened concerning the rumored Terran Liberation Army.

At least, that's what the brief detailed for Agent Solis' first assignment offworld since she joined the IIA And completed her training.

She looked up, and around once she was through the doors of the hospital, wearing all black she stood out from the rest of the crowd, in a black sweater, dark jeans, and a slim leather handbag draped over her shoulder.

She was given orders to blend in, meet with the local resistance and set up arms deals.

She checked the fitment of her disruptor pistol, which was concealed in a holster in the small of her back, discreetly adjusting the weapon to sit more comfortably, she approached the front desk, her heels echoing through the lobby.

Outside the elevator shaft before princess hospital steel framework can be heard to creak and groan as a wall straightened and pulled inward. The bent superstructure straightened by a dense cloud occupying the darkened interior. Buttons outside the elevator sprung to life as something reconnected collapsed wire conduits. With a hum of life the floor indicator chimed but displayed nothing. After a few B4 appeared then advanced quickly to ground. It chimed once more and the door opened.

Shiny metal doors open to four humanoid men standing in the dark. Lights blink on from above as what sounded like rain issues from all sides. Blackness drains from the lights into the elevator shaft and the car grows brighter still. Seen more clearly their garb something between a white doctor's coat and an overcoat. Above it heads in coarse gauze to make bare hints at indistinct features. Jinhai made a pale imitation of the doctors they saw as to not disturb the patients. Mostly they were seen at night while patients slept. Other Jinhai in slightly different garb, frequently seen in the city if out of the way, walk in at all hours to drop patients off without so much as a word.

Stone plates with pillars at each corner held between them each occupant quite still. A soldier of some distinction from accident during city repairs laid still as the mortuary slab he'd once been upon. They'd recreated the clothing and the armor but none of the markings. Appearing do until a chest rose making breath more apparent. The man's eyes open, alarmed. Both him and idle compatriot quite alive.

One looked straight to Priestess its flat voice noting, "It is done, humankind."

~~~
"Where are you taking me? Why can I feel my legs?", asked the man reaching for legs quite well smashed by debris to his recollection.
"You are rekindled, humankind," came the emotionless reply, "You must return to the care of other humankind."
"What? Who?", came the soldier's voice as they entered the hallway to set the white stone plates on a gurney.
The four turned toward the basement stairs down the hallway without further word to the alarmed man trying to get up. The soldier just stared with hands propping up his torso. Moving bare toes dumbstruck and quite in shock. Nothing but bare skin below the thigh his clean pants ended abruptly.
"But... where are my shoes? Is that a tattoo? Whose legs are these?!", was all the man could muster.
