Rankine DeLisle's Story

/me came into the bar, blood boiling. Well, not quite boiling, [he's pretty sure blood coagulated before that point] but it was damn hot in any case. He had previously unfastened his treated denim shirt to let out the heat, exposing his burn marks: it didn't work too well. Although his body was sweating in an feeble attempt to keep the body temperature down, but all it really did was produce a sizzling sound and a slight mist off his skin. When he trudged inside, he ordered a pitcher from the nearest server bot. He didn't take a seat as a precautionary action; he's had plastic burnt into his arse before, it really isn't plesant.

As soon as the "drink" arrived he hastilly took within his dead black fingertips and dumped the entire contents on his face, instantly turning it into a cloud of water vapor.

Something felt... lukewarm on Rankine's shoulder. He paused for a second before regestering that he had just been tapped on the shoulder. He turned around and was surprised to be greeted by the sight of Xiuhcoatl -- though he resembled a human, Rankine figured out quickly that obviusly a normal human couldn't come close to matching his body temperture.

"Yes? What is it you want?" His voice was extremely raspy, as if it were permenantly dehydrated. It made it hard to tell, he was trying to pull of a polite tone.

"Don't sweat the details." Hero explained to Fei without being prompted "Macguffin doesn't bother about getting his facts straight."

Our hero had also found himself bowing to the pressure of the atomosphere. Actually, he had only tripped on his feet and couldn't get back up. This gave him the misfortune of having his rump sticking up in the air, as he ate a mouthful of dirt.

Selerei continued to follow the trail towards the east, the sea bubbling as the creature passed shallow beneath.
