The door opened with a creak, and a short reptilian figure poked his head through the door. His skin was a golden yellow and his head resembled that of a small T-rex. His relatively long arms were adorned with three clawed fingers. Green eyes blinked curiously at the establishment and its patrons.

"Well... What do we have here..." he said in a high pitched voice as he stepped further in the room. His bare three-toed feet patted against the floor.

Rex padded over to a nearby table and climbed into the seat with a bit of effort. He rested his large claws on the flat wooden surface. The reptile blinked at Sui.

"You mean... You've never seen a digimon before?" he asked quizzically. "My name's Agumon, although some people like to call me Rex. I'm a digimon - a digital monster!" Rex grinned.

Agumon shrugged. "Oh well. I have never heard of these Orochi, but I must say... I have never seen a human like you before. Although, I have only seen a small handful of humans. It's very rare that a digimon comes out of the Digital World."

The two-legged reptile stepped further into the room. His elongated yellow head turned every which direction as he took the interesting sights. He stood at the average man's waist, so he was forced to weave between the sea of legs.

"Oh, excuse me... Pardon me... Hi there... Oof! Sorry about that!" he said as he went through the crowd. Then, as his attention was focused on some multi-legged creature, he ran straight into the boy named Simon, who happened to be about his size.

"Uhg!" he exclaimed as he hit the ground. "Ouch... Sorry about that. Are you alright?" Rex blinked at the boy with his bright green eyes.

Rex sat on the ground for a moment and took in the situation. The boy seemed distressed by the tall man that gripped his arm and the strange centipede... thing. His good ears could ear Simon's mumblings, and he frowned.

The reptile stood up on his feet and poked Simon with his clawed hand. "Hey, do you know these guys?" he said before pointing at Malinor and Ipecac. "Do you need any help?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm a digimon..." he said. His short but muscular legs swung idly beneath the table. "After all, I grew up in the Digital World and hatched out of a digi-egg." Rex nodded. "There are some digimon that look a lot like dinosaurs, like me for example!"

Rex frowned a bit. He didn't quite believe Simon. After all, he could smell the faint scent of blood. The digimon sighed and decided he would let it go.

"From what I understand, the Digital World is a place created by all the computers in the Real World talking to each other. Occasionally a path opens up between them. That's how I got here."

"Hmm... I wonder if they have any rice balls." he thought to himself.

After Rex placed an order for five servings of rice balls, he took another look around the room. Humans - all of them - it seemed. It did not bother the digimon though. He enjoyed watching them do their thing. The change of scenery suited him from time to time.

When the rice balls came, Rex chowed down almost immediately. His claws moved like high speed shovels that thrust the compressed grain balls into his reptilian maw. After he finished he collapsed into the back of the chair with a content sigh. There was a distinct lump on his belly.

He began to snore.
