I'll take you down and wipe that smile right off your face

She can channel her pent up rage into physical energy. It usually appears in a black smoky form, gravitating mainly around her hands. She can push other things with it, send rage blasts, wrap things with it, and create force fields. However, the strength of her power depends soley on how angry she is at the moment. Saura can build up rage, but once it is gone, it is gone.
She also disappears almost completely from view when in the darkness, or when in a shadow. If you are not looking for her, you will not find her.

"Your Name, girl"
"Oh! Please, my name is Saura Sato, but if you excuse me-"

"And age?"
"Well, i'm young, but-"

"Gender?"
"I'm a girl now-"

"And your sexual preferences?"
"I-well-uh-"

"Any Love Interests?"
"Now THAT'S none of your-"

Can you do anything?
"If you keep pushing my button's you're going to find out, now WHY all the-"

And your role here?
"I'M A SHADOW, DAMNIT, NOW PLEASE STOP INTERRUPTING ME!"

A shadow is the shell of someone who once was.

Personality
She lets things roll of her shoulder....kind of. Saura is passive aggressive in a karmic sort of way, except when she comes around, it is usually ten times worse. She is slightly vindictive and wishes to wrong those that have wronged her, but their suffering can wait. Bringing the pain isn not her main priority, for she constantly seeks "happiness". However she is not one to pass up an opportunity to make someone suffer.
She broods, yes, but that is only because it gives her power. She cannot help but find a sick sense of closure in suffering. The farther from life Saura grows, the more sadistic she becomes, and will usually be the first to laugh when someone else is hurt.

Thump, shatter, crash, on the other side of the wall.
Anger, hate, loud, on the other side of the wall.
Her stomach rumbles, and she cries out.
The hate continues, the thumps grow to bangs.
Loud noises echo in the dark, she is scared.
She cries some more.
More thumping on the wall.
And still they yell, and still she cries,
Until she falls asleep.

They're yelling at each other again,
That man with no shirt,
And that woman in nothing but.
Why? Why not.
With unblinking eyes, she watches,
Waiting for some action.
They get louder, their voices morph,
They sound like strangers now.
She hides behind the couch.
He points at the hider
She points at pointer,
Saura just wants to never wake up.

She has awakened
Somewhere new
Somewhere loud but somewhere true
Terra it was in a room colored blue.

He was there,
White of Hair,
Like a father she never had.

So begins...

Saura Sato's Story

Warren Aulare entered Gambits, tonight not here for leisure. Straightening his kerchief, the large and foreboding man scanned the scene with a cold glare. His hand trailed down, checking the buttons on his waistcoat in a absentminded habitual manner, coming to a rest on something that sit beneath the fabric. That something was a very clever revolver, his favorite piece of protection.

None of that mattered in the long run if this evening didn't go as planned. He was meeting her here, interviewing one could say. Silently, in slow sweeping strides, Warren stepped towards a booth in the back of the bar. Quieter, more out of the way. Ideal for the business he was to conduct.

She came from above, stepping from the elevator with her head bowed. This evening was her chance, a shot at a life. The girl had worn her best black satin dress, dark lace trimmings over a full elegant skirt. Hands clasped before her, the girl with the ominous vibe about the air around her made her way through the shadows.

There he was, in the booth over there. She was silent, and near invisible in the shadows, as she made her way towards the man in the booth.

Standing there at the mouth of the booth, she watched him for a moment or three before bothering to speak.

"Hello," Her voice was a whisper, high and gentle.

He didn't notice her approach, having had his eyes closed. When she did, it was after she had spoke. Lids whipping upward, his icy grey eyeballs navigated in his skull to look directly at her.

The skull was soon to follow, white hair pulled from his face and tucked behind his ear with an almost compassionate touch. Accompanying this motion was another, completely different. Fluidly Warren slid from the booth and pushed himself to a stand. Towering over the girl, she seemed young, his mouth smeared into a wicked smile. Gesturing towards the seat opposite his, Warren winked, and said,

"Please, my dear, have a seat."

The man's smile triggered a reaction of her own, but it wasn't a pleasurable grin. In fact, she seemed more pained than anything, the smile lopsided and forced. It wouldn't be until she was comfortably in the booth that the girl's expression would turn genuine. Her lips parted, making way for an equally as wicked grin to shine on through.

The peculiar thing about her otherwise perfect smile, Warren would notice, would be that her teeth appeared to be that of a savage beast. There were far too many of them, and they were pointed and sharp.

The girl would wait for him to speak. It was, after all, he who invited her here.

As if on cue, the girl picked up the card. Sliding it across the table before she overturned it, she returned the man's hard stare.

Flip

On the other side of the card was just what she expected. Careful not to breathe a sigh of relief, the young lady peeled off the black rose petal that was pressed on. The card was to be relocated, placed in her pocket for safe keeping. It was, after all, the card with all of Warren Aulare's information. It was her turn to play a card, so to speak.

After a moment of harsh thought, Saura flicked the petal back at Warren. Something peculiar happened with the motion. A black trail of smoke, thicker than a wisp but not a solid stream, followed after the petal and connected back to her finger. It was shadow matter, of some sort, and Saura appeared able to control it.

The tendril pushed the petal through the hair, until it was right in front of Warren. Releasing the energy, Saura allowed the petal to fall. She then placed both hands in her lap, having nothing to say and wanting to get on with things.

Saura Sato simply nodded, keeping her eyes glued to his. He was older, weathered, but his gray eyes did pierce. She almost wondered if he would notice that hers too are devoid of color.

A lone girl perched on the very edge of the pier, black hair ribboning onto the rotting wood. She gazed downward into the water, brooding over her past. Overcast skies accompanied her mood, the shadowless day leaving the lake colorless.

It wouldn't be until the stranger, a female by the sound, finished talking that Saura would bother to turn. When she did, only her head rotating to look at the one who spoke, the stranger would notice her eyes were larger than the normal humans, and completely devoid of color. Staring unblinking, Saura finished collecting her thoughts before she bothered to speak.

"Lost?" Her voice was high, almost not even there, a childish whisper carried on the lake winds. Lost? Geographically? In her mind, Saura considered this problem to be the least of her worries, if anything a bother. Did she really look like any help? Apparently so...

Harnessing the negativity, festering over the inconvenience, the raven haired girl flicked her eyes shut for a moment. When she opened them again, but two seconds later, a small smile formed on her lips. She pat the stretch of dock next to her, motioning for the girl to sit.

Saura looked back out into the water as the girl seated next to her, half diving back into thought. She honestly doubted that she could do much to help, barely knowing the area herself, but enjoyed the company nonetheless. Even if her company could barely communicate with her due to language barriers.

"Saura," She stated her name in response, filling the air with something other than awkward. "My eyes were green before I died," She sounded whimsically morose, her insides beginning to boil. Oh, how she missed her green eyes. What she would give to have them back. Saura hated the colorlessness of her self, and stayed with that hate despite the small smile on her lips.

"I was called," was the only answer the girl could supply, not quite understanding the situation herself. Her lack of understanding of her own situation angered her, riled her spirits from the inside out. Jasmin wouldn't see this emotion, however. No. Saura would remain staring out to lake with those large colorless eyes.

"How did you get here?"

Hearing the unfortunate situation of the other angered her, set her insides alive with passionate hate for situations involving an honor system. What honor was there in sending one to die? To live alone? What honor was there in banishment, the shaming of a name?

Silent still, not showing her rage, Saura would continue to question the girl. She was feeding herself, her powers, her emotions, staring out into the gray waters.

"Orders?" Her voice was stronger, but slightly.

A warm evening followed a long day of the sun beating down on the worn path. Travelers were few and far between at this point, one of the reasons she had come. Perched on a larger rock, the raven haired girl aimed her black eyes down the path.

She appeared to be waiting for someone.

Head cocked to the side, she observed the strange behavior of the newcomer. What was that thing she was holding?

Returning the blank expression with soulless eyes, the girl slid from the rock. As she did so, shadows collected beneath her like smoke on the water. Her foot touched the ground, and they were gone in a gust as quick as they had come. Clasping her hands before her, the girl angled her head ever so slightly to the left, and then the right.

"Hello," Her voice was a whisper on the wind. Extending an arm to point with a sickly thin finger, the girl motioned towards the weird box. "What is that?"

A smile blew across her lips, there for a moment then gone again. She remembered the days of mortality, of trivial problems, of living.

"I see," Again, that soft voice that seemed to come from everywhere but nowhere. As for her magic? Yes, she supposed it was neat. It was neat for a moment, the smile almost returning, until the girl was reminded why she had these powers. Expression blanking again, she looked from the phone to the girl.

"The perks of death," As she spoke, shadow tendrils extended from the ground. They weaved continuously around her ankles and calves, lifting her slightly from the ground. She would give it up if it meant being alive again.

"What is your name?"

The shadows carried her forward towards the girl. Stepping down from them, they again dissipated completely into thin air.

"Saura," Stating her name, Saura accepted the gesture with her own icy grip.

"Yours are like lava," The small smile returned, this time lingering on her lips.

Suddenly a large bang was heard coming from the east. She snapped her gaze to that direction, then looked back to Katie with wide eyes. What was that?

Raising a brow at the actions of the girl, Saura returned her gaze down the path. Saura didn't have to worry about death necessarily, for she was already there. Another perk, she guessed.

The shadows returned, swifter than before, encasing her to the waist in swirling darkness. Lifting her a few inches from the ground, they grew in mass, billowing beneath her. Saura then extended a hand towards Katie, nodding in the direction of the noise.

"Care to investigate?"

The shadows would extend swiftly towards Katie as their hands met, in turn lifting her from the ground in the same manner. Saura would close her eyes, and they would be nearly encased in dark shadow matter.

The shadows would then carry them, quickly, east in the general direction of the source of the noise.

With a gesture, Saura began to walk towards the source of the crash. Her hands were at her sides, away from her body, thin wisps of shadow matter twirling around her wrists.

Rounding the corner, Saura shot out shadow matter to whip Katie back. Not a nanosecond later, a giant chunk of rubble came catapulting in their direction. That could have killed them!
Well, Katie.

"What are you doing," Her voice, still a whisper, was more penetrating than before. The girl was obviously not amused.

"This creature almost carelessly squished you," She then turned her gaze back to the troll, expression hardening as the shadows grew thicker.

"I asked first." Was Saura pouting behind that devilish glare?
