This duo of people eating monsters are known as Stones and Boyle. A pair of heavily armed vampiric thugs who have been serving a rather ancient and mysterious benefactor since the dawn of the last century. What they lack in subtley they make up in destruction and creativity. They have been often been described as a pair that 'bump the things that go bump in the night.' Pray that these immortal enforcers never end up on your door.

Ulrich Paternosta got off the sleek hover-bike and spit to the side. He yanked the helmet off his head, wiry blonde hair pulled back into a low bun. With it under one arm he gave a good look around the square.

No trouble. Good. But what the fuck was that? He raised a brow at thearchaic bike. The Gea Ceann crawling from the shadows again?

"You are twisting it the wrong way." Stones had said again. His partner knelt down having GUTTED half of the broken up machine. Gears, springs, old rusted things all scattered all over the ground now. "I'm not! It says counter clockwise! Counter-Clock! Means Left! What kind of clocks are you looking at!" The pair were obviously vampires, because at the moment the extra rows of sharp teeth they usually hid were out and proud.

"...No...That ain't right!" The large bruiser of the pair bellowed. Boyle rolled his eyes before the pair sort of stopped working. Both sort of smelled blood in the water. Very, very old blood. Both sort of rose back to the ground. Locking eyes with Ulrich. "Uh. Stones... Stones... Do you have that..."

The large man searched into his huge bushy beard pulling out! AN etching. Charcoal and everything as he squinted his eyes. "Hm... Maybe he grew out his hair?" The other tried to look over his shoulder but couldn't. And went under his arm right in his chest to look. "No. Ain't him. His nose is too short." He critiqued.

"Maybe Maude is bad artist?" he asked his partner. Who laughed. "HAH! Don't catch her saying that!" He poked him in the ribs with his elbow.

Stone and Boyle sort of felt the eagerness to fight off of Ulrich Paternosta. Stones sort of straightened his own back, massive arms tightening into his torso like he was about to SLUG this man face into the pavement. Boyle was sort of behind him now. Peeking out from the massive frame of his partner.

"Stones? Stones? What is he saying Stones...?"

"...He says why are we looking at man." Stones replied in a thick accent. From... uh...

"...We are fine with Bike. Bike breaks down alot. Bike is... uh... shit." He described it more formally. "Is normal. Is will be good as soon as Boyle fixes. By TURNING CLOCKWISE!" He roared. All his teeth showing. All six rows of them at his smaller partner.

"COUNTER CLOCKWISE IS LEFT STUPID!" It really wasn't.

"Look mate! We're sorry aren't we?" He asked his partner. Who became a bit stubborn. "No." Oh look fangs. The large man had the mouth of a shark. Let them bear his fangs.

Ulrich Paternosta grunted and raised a brow at the two. It wasn't easy to see, but he shifted so the Forces Vankoryth emblem and his rankings caught the light. Upon closer inspection the shoulders of his leather jacket had the hint of crimson. If Ulrich could breathe he would have taken a deep breath, but he didn't need to breathe and instead continued glaring at the two. Hard. It was a long moment before he opened his mouth to speak.

Stone and Boyle followed in shortly after. The pair of vampires sort of taking in the sights of a rather rich looking drinking hole. "Nice. Nice. Hey Stones! They got the nice chairs! Take a peep at them!" Boyles made his way over to a table. A chair with rich velvet cushions that he ran along his hand. "Look at that. Feel that. Good right?"

Stones followed in not even giving the chair a look.

"Ish fine." He said bluntly. He moved to the sight. Taking in a strong nostril fill of something. Hm.

"That one." he pointed to a bottle behind the counter. A cup? "No. That one." The whole bottle? Okay... He uncorked it and began to drink it very greedily.

Deliveries to the Tauvyr Tavern were more regular with the new ownership of Fantasma Vineyards. The bottles were stocked and varied though many of the labels familiar some a more threatening make. Labels with letters that squirm and images with unsettling angles. One such bottle festooned with the dual masks Sock and Buskin sported others etched into the glass. Though these of anguish and horror if one should peer closer. Perhaps a warning for its label 'Thousand-Faced Wine' that said little else of its make than bottled in Fantasma Vineyards. A cigarette alit behind the bar though the embers fell first out of memory than the light of one's eyes. A bit of red ash falling in life before the eyeless grin of Ebrabbos underneath her wide brim hat and thick cloak. Long hair pours from under her hat to float past her shoulders as locks snake around her shoulders as to threaten by rising there. Though the eyes obscured beneath her hat their ill-defined shape inviting one to stare too close as they stared back. The cigarette in her mouth flared but never burnt down as she unpacked a box of wine from behind the counter.

"Careful now, " the tone lost about some unclear sarcasm, "There are so very many faces of regret that deep in a bottle of wine."

Stone and Boyle were now separated. Boyle was now at the side of Ulrich beginning to get comfortable in this soft velvet chair. A wide grin as his shark like mouth slowly blended back into a row of normal teeth. "Blimey! This is delux ain't it!?" He asked the other vampire. Before he began to speak again. "Look. The two of us are on a hunt. But not to cause trouble. Stones can be a bit violent. He comes from a violent times you know?" He told the other. "We are looking for a criminal. Or someone close to that."

Stones was at the bar. He drank half of the bottle and was surprised that the alcohol actually had some affect on him. THe huge man now turned to the stranger. He looked to her fancy hat. He nodded. "Good fashion." He told her at first. "We both know this is not wine."

Occasionally black robed humanoids lurked in this city. If not cultists with feral dispositions than servitors of a titanic worm with little opinions on anything. Little to set them apart than by their habits if not the hungry look of the former ones. The latter were creatures more of dusty motes than flesh going to and fro according to needs of the nearby store but their hungry eye was for damage. Creatures of metacreativity and repair the scattered bike parts presented an unavoidable magnet as it passed. A downswept hood turning on its axis revealing neither bone nor eyes but for four white swirls fixated on rusted parts.

One hard turn later it set for scattered bits the wear to them an obvious part of their nature. Damage and incongruency could not stand when it was not otherwise engaged. It knelt over the scattered rusty parts the rusty bolts and pistons taken in its robed hands. A blue glow erupting as fingers brush at the substance as if it could simply brush the void of scratches away. The rest merely grime it could clean with a concerned glance. Duly preoccupied it slowly tended to parts left too long alone. Reassembling them within the machine as it went for all machines should be whole to their design. Thus was the natural dicta of the First machine. One bolt did not appear to fit, its chirality improper, one finger stuck in the hole as the other palmed the bolt. The helical stripping removed inspected the bolt upright between its fingers.

A clockwise bolt for a clockwise turning hole. All was well once more. The plates once attached it ignored as it had no sense of decorative plating. Rusty cladding snubbed on the ground.

Stone and Boyle regathered back at the table. Stones standing there while Boyle got back up. Stones stood there as he handed the etching back to Boyle. The other vampire had been better at talking. Most times. Unless they wanted to frighten people. Stones was much better at that he felt.

Boyle handed the other a etching. An etching of a man done in charcoal. The likeness was very well done. Man in his forties, very long slant nose. Dark hair. Short cut. Very fierce looking eyes. "That is who we are looking for. And trust me he is dangerous anywhere we gather." He told the other Vampire.

"This shit gets powers. What does he do? Immediately what most shits start to do. Start to think he's a bloody god."

The visage was of a vampire in circles called Feastus. A Vampire that had started a sanguine cult installing him as their living deity. "But most of these shitheads don't try to bother the established covens... So we got the call."
