Description

Name: Terrance Verton

Alias:Vandal

Job:Explosive Expert for TETRS

Age: 25

Appearance:
Image

Personality: Terrance is a strange combination of typical man-child and exceedingly loyal soldier. He loves to flirt with fellow female recruits and often he jokes in combat, but when it comes down to the mission he sees nothing else. Many times he's refused to set a bomb until he's known everyone is out.

History Terrance is one of those guys you never thought would amount to much, he was a ladies man and what he studied was more 'extra curricular activities' than what school taught. Although the man loves explosions, so one class he paid attention in was science. Two things got him excited girls and explosion --- he often joked an explosive girl would be the one he finally settled down with.

When not in school he would be building questionable devices for only the explosion. Yet he always made sure to calculate risk factor. Unfortunately he sometimes figured doing these experiment when drunk and or stoned was a good idea. All ideas of common sense went out the window as time and time again he ended up making explosion too huge, miscalculating details like trajectory and overall amount of explosive to use. It really didn't help matters he was from a rich family who could provide such components as dismantled C4, Claymore Mines and even Grenades.

Well such highjinks like blowing up his own house partially didn't bode well with his neighbourhood who swore the kid was the 'Mad Bomber' who had no care of whom he hurt. Amazingly no one was ever hurt, but the final straw came in Summer of his 20th birthday. Wanting to impress a local girl he made a bomb when drunk to put close to her exes house, she wanted the 'bastard to shit his pants'.

Following through with this he set the bomb and blew up just half of the house, unfortunately he had chosen to not be just drunk while making this bomb but be getting pleasured in act, because of this he poured too much powder in.

Luckily Sam survived, not lucky his parents didn't like their house being a smouldering ruin.

It was off to prison for Terrance, even in prison he kept reading about bombs, stopping any abuse from fellow inmates with small booms.

He gained a reputation in the house for being a little obsessed with explosions, often voting for action movies on movie night.

When the day finally arrived for his case he was whisked away without warning while blind folded. The journey was incredibly bumpy and no one spoke.

Finally he was taken and blindfold was removed.

The offer was simple, he was a young prodigy when it came to explosives and they wanted him to join. They promised all details from his Criminal Record be removed he just had to swear to serve The Terran National Government and follow all the orders he was given.

Prison sucked and he liked ideas of more bombs, so he agreed.

He's grown up considerably in past few years, although he's still a playboy and still loves explosive. Although what is new is his incredibly patriotism and loyalty for the Government, he often risks himself to finish a mission. He's been trained in use handgun and semi-automatics. His code name is Vandal and though he works for this group he prefers to subdue an opponent rather than murder them.

Andee Suit

Terrance is equipped with a stronger suit built to protect from radiation, gas and even low level explosions -- which in normal circumstances would remove a persons limb. -- it also can withstand extreme levels of heat.

So begins...

Terrance Verton's Story

Terrance Verton swaggered into the bar, his eyes looking around for a suitable partner. Drinking, flirting, fucking, it didn't matter which. He was a gregarious sort, so he decided to start with the first one, as it could lead to either of the other two if he played his cards right.

Terrance Verton settled his gaze on Aerilyn behind the bar, and crossed the room towards her with long, confident strides. "Hey, where's everyone for Happy Hour? I realize you can't afford to advertise what with all the fighting, but come on! I'll even buy for you and we can drink together."

Terrance Verton sighed. "I can understand that. I've heard what happens here. Everyone does. Still, the only other bar in town is a trap those frakkin' Aschen use to fund their terrorism, and I need a goddamn drink." He flashed one of his smiles, the kind he knew would change a female's mood for the better. "Seeing as you're behind the bar and I'm not, it made sense that you were the tender. My bad. Usually, bouncers are out and about, the better to get to the unpleasant ones."

Terrance Verton grinned and held out a hand. "Terrance." He then withdrew it and looked around for a while before seeing the touch-screen order menu. "Well, that explains a lot. I can see how you wouldn't have room in the budget for a flesh and bones tender. Just one more liability when shit goes down, though a good one is damn fun to watch." He punched in an order for a Corona with lime, and within seconds started sipping it. "I always start off with this to remind myself how bad this shit really is."

Terrance Verton made a face halfway through the bottle. "Well, you know as well as anyone that alcohol messes up your judgement. So I use this to get me started and to remind me that the next ones should be more pleasant experiences. My mind may not remember, but my body will. Plus, the taste means I drink it slower, which means I drink less overall."

Terrance Verton looked over at the newcomer. "Water? Either you're underage or you're just looking to get out of the rain. Besides, apparently the tender is offline or something. Maintenance happens." He took another swig of Corona, and made another face. It was rather amusing how he managed to find a new way to silently express his disgust each time, or so he thought to himself.

Terrance Verton just now decided it would be a good idea to produce his ID for the security worker. His affiliation with the elite Terran military organization known as TETRS could be clearly seen on the holo-tag.

Terrance Verton smiled and finished the rest of the Corona. "Not just working for it. Working my ass off to get those Ass-chen and U-cunts off of our pile of rocks. They have how many other planets to fight over between them, and yet every time we're caught in the crossfire?"

Terrance Verton grinned. "I don't know about them, but I know what I'm gonna do. Blow up their bases and then fuck the widows. You mention my next one was free, right? Okay...make it something local."

"You think I'm kidding? Aerilyn, you should see what I can do with some random chemicals and ten minutes of free time." He finished the Corona, then ordered a locally produced specialty. As she had promised, on the house.

Terrance Verton was a little late to the party, but that was only because he had to strap on his ANDEE suit. As part of the elite organization known as TETRS, he was one of the finest the planet had to offer in its own defense. And god damn it if he was going to let those Aschen terrorists fuck up everyone's happy hour. Due to the suit's Muteki gel layer, he was completely ignorant of the irritant's effects, though it did make lining up shots tough. "Son of a bitch, when are you Ass-chen gonna leave these people alone? They just wanted a drink, and you gave them a dose of pepper gas, how about I shove my boot up your ass?"

Hey. That rhymed. He would have to remember that for next time.

Terrance Verton dove behind the nearest convenient cover...the bar itself. So what if the tender would have yelled at him, it's not like she could have put two words together in this pepper gas. "Of course. Ass-chins would never want to discuss anything over tea and crumpets." He couldn't toss a frag due to the high civ concentration, nor could he risk firing even a short burst into the clouds. Besides, he knew that as much as this armor protected him, it also made him a high-value target. Even a thrown bottle would be enough to get him made into a POW...this fucking sucked. "Mayday, mayday, mayday! This is Vandal, I'm pinned down, requesting all available backup! There's a Romeo in my AO, at least five bogeys and a lot of civs!"

Terrance Verton breathed rather heavily. All his life, all he had seen was explosions and Terrans being caught in the crossfire of countless wars. Now, he was so close to repaying the favor, he could almost taste the juices of the women he would go down on after he came back from this mission, to the point of idly licking his lips. "Yeah, Caesar, I got 'em. That armor ain't nothin' but a tin can that a nice big boom can crack open. I go right through their ranks, plant the charges in the chaos, then watch the fireworks. Hehehe."

Terrance Verton grinned. Not expecting? Hell, they probably weren't expecting a war-torn backwater planet to even be capable of fielding this sort of advanced technology. Surprise had always been his favorite weapon, though he usually restricted it to members of the opposite sex, and even then in the bedroom. Setting off a sonic boom as he took off along with Caesar, he executed his part of the plan as well, planting a CN charge right in the path of the enemy infantry advance as instructed before blasting off again, giving the troops on the ground a taste of his Marauder assault rifle from the air like some kind of futuristic, Rule 63-afflicted Valkyrie.

Terrance Verton followed the first lesson of Sensei Piccolo Caesar. Using the maneuverability afforded by the sub-sonic speeds he was using to strafe the enemy lines, he tapped Z twice did a barrel roll, twisting his body out of harm's way, if harm took the form of a bright blue beam. Spilling some altitude to gain airspeed, Vandal flew right at Michael Samuelle for a bone-crushing body slam, knowing that when a guy with a weapon that dangerous missed you with his first shot, you don't let him get off a second

Terrance Verton saw that Michael was rising to meet him. He needed to give him something to think about. He pressed the button, and the CN charge he had placed in the sand earlier went off with a satisfying thud and a huge amount of particulate before the two men clashed against each other with tremendous force. Michael had activated his forward shields to take away some of the brunt on his end, but the muteki-infused Pillar layer of the ANDEE suit offered more than sufficient protection for the Terran. As the two parties recoiled from their collision, he raised his Marauder and went full-auto on the bastard. If by some miracle the shield had held against the tackle, surely this would go through whatever was left.

Terrance Verton watched in horror as the rounds pinged off of Michael's armor like they were nothing. Caesar was right. Reloading was futile. He could not allow Michael to get off that second shot. When the gun clicked to register empty mag, instead of being a sitting duck and getting spaghetti-fied by the black hole, he jetted forward, wielding his rifle like a quarterstaff, blocking high to prevent the weapon from being leveled against him, followed immediately by a devastating knee to the stomach. By the time Michael got around this guard to get the business end where he wanted it, he would already have the wind knocked out of him three times over.

Terrance Verton signaled back. "Got a tango with some kinda black hole gun. Gotta take care of him before moving to the armor. You want thirty clicks, Caesar, you got 'em." Green bolts of disruptor volleys from the Reverence above them slammed down in a gross perversion of life-giving rain. His struggle with the armored Michael continued, as each tried to disarm the other. He had to get down there and crack open those armored transports after dispatching this rather stubborn opponent.

Get down. Crack open. Giggity.

Terrance Verton suddenly tumbled through the air faster than he could react as the Reverence, for lack of a better word, vanished and matter rushed to fill the resulting vacuum. Michael didn't pursue, instead looking more interested in defending the base. Gods damn it...this was all a screen for the heavy water delivery. GODS DAMN IT. Ah well, nothing like a good explosion or ten to relieve stress, he thought as he zipped among the armored carriers and piles of bodies, planting more charges and setting them all off in one glorious bloom of fire and shrapnel. It was almost as beautiful as that blonde broad that gave him a good-luck shag before he left for this mission. Almost.

Terrance Verton didn't like it. But he had to do it. Screeching in at a good clip, he realized he couldn't scoop up these kids on the fly. Too dangerous...he'd snap them in half going at even half his speed, and he'd be a sitting duck for the flak rounds going off all around him if he did. "Full retreat! They've got too much armor storming down the main avenue...what the fuck? Kids 2 clicks ahead of them?" He opened an emergency channel to the leader of the unit. "Hold your fire! There are unarmed civilians 2 clicks in front of your current position! Repeat, hold your fire until they're cleared out!"

When we last left our heroes (the Terran Militia), they'd just arrived on the scene of a disaster. An entire skyscraper had been mysteriously brought to the ground, trapping hundreds of innocent civilians beneath mountains of debris. As rescue operations began, the militiamen were unsuspectingly assailed by the madman responsible for the tragedy... the evil supervillian known only as Hatchet!

The fighting was quick and fierce! Attacking my ambush, Hatchet quickly wounded Patchi Boy before being intercepted by Derrick Rose on a mounted turret. Hatchet's counter attack was defended against by Anodyne and Onigiri; the two warriors quickly assuming formation next to their fellow militiaman! The lines are drawn and three Terran heroes are making a valiant stand against a superpowered monster! With Ezrael and Vegeshin away from the fight, can our four brave militiamen stop this cruel beast's rampage once and for all?

The monster was directed toward the rest of the group. Its red skull was as the needle-tip of a compass, which claimed the next objective. The armored woman had been knocked away. The creature stood still, for just a moment. Its stature was above all present beings in the current vicinity. Though, the falling snow ceased not. Upon the first minutes descension, the black skin of the mosnter retained miniscule patches of white on its shoulders.

This less than serene environment was met with more chaos, as the creature leapt toward the collapsed spine of the fallen skyscraper. His body was a black blur, from one spot to the other. He landed on the side of the building, which was now its top. He was on higher ground. The impact caused for the steel to warp. Wasting no time, the creature began to sprint to the edge of the building. Loud cracks and thumps echoed, as his feet hit the glass and steel with every step.

Suddenly, it dove down toward the oppressors. Such a graceful dive, as he flipped and curled into a ball. A five hundred pound mass was falling seven stories from the air, headed straight for the APC, and gaining speed. Whatever body it hit would surely be crushed.

Onigiri wasted no time pursuing the monster as it raced up the side of the fallen skyscraper. He followed close behind the beast, converse-laden feet blurring gracefully along the shattered glass and mangled steel of the ruined tower. For a moment, he seemed to be sprinting directly up the side of the building, vertically.

And then Hatchet jumped. The Taiyou watched with wide-eyes as the mutant leaped from high ground, sparing a quick glance down at the creature's point of impact. Rose's car. The man would be crushed.

"Chikushō!" the fighter spat, the gruff tone of his voice easily identifying whatever he'd said as some vulgar profanity. Judging the distance between himself and Hatchet and timing the rate of his fall, Onigiri would launch himself off of the cliff of the tower, attempting to intercept Hatchet in mid-air before he could connect with the ground. Onigiri's timing would be perfect. Unless stopped beforehand, he would meet the monster in the snowy skies, a ki-fist charged and ready.

"Kutabare!" Onigiri roared, attempting to drive the energized fist directly into Hatchet's jaw. The energy behind the strike, strong enough to dent the side of an armored tank, would at least be enough to alter the direction of Hatchet's plummet, likely sending the monster spiraling off into another nearby building. There would be a great deal of pain, too. Had Hatchet been a normal man, the attack would have broken every bone in his face, if not flat-out detach his head from his neck.

Assuming Onigiri was successful, he would land gracefully, a small crater forming around his feet as they hit the asphalt. He looked towards his friends, fury ripe on his face.

"Ii kagen ni shiro!" he barked, "go! Finish that monster!"

Anodyne was prepared to intercept Hatchet once he made his move to dive down towards the APC. Once Onigiri made his move to attack Anodyne headed to the APC. There was always the chance that Onigiri would fail to divert the creature from it's course, she was going to play it safe and get the APC moving a bit faster than it could on it's own.

The armored woman crouched down next to the APC, slipping both of her hands beneath it. She would begin to lift, easily getting the vehicle to begin to tilt, from there she slipped under it. Were it anyone else they may have been crushed.

Anodyne instead was able to lift the APC over her head. "Keep firing." She told Derrick, "I'm your wheels for now. Tell me what you see above us." The woman told him, putting an end, she hoped, to her time speaking for the week.

She began to move quickly, trying to get the APC further away from where she last saw Hatchet coming down. She couldn't wait for the moment she could fight her hardest against Hatchet.
