Terrian the Scholar shifted his attention to the sudden loud out bursts and chants only a mere few paces away. He was slightly cringed at the amassing of a large Mob that had taken root at the entrance way. He paused for a moment surprised that mere bar would spawn so much.. controversy.

Terrian the Scholar caught ear of the comments of the disguised knight and has a queer look across his face, the man's voice was quite off but he did possess cold steel and he was not about to bring it up. His eyes shifted back to the workings of the crowd, they were not violent.. noisy, but what was not in an environment like such?

The half-elf had decided to pay little mind to it for now, they were after all just expressing their opinion. Turning his attention to the knight.

Terrian the Scholar flinched on the sudden attack of the entire crowd of people. He rolled his eyes and he simply sighed "I'm surprised that people take the liberty of free speech as a threat to their well being... In many civilizations which I have studied such a right was expressively worshipped and protected.." he commented gazing back a the worthless massacarce of the praying mass.

Terrian the Scholar made his way into Gambit's Bar. His eyes slowly lingered around as he pulled down the hood of his traveling cloak. This was a strange new world which the freelance historian had encountered. So many different creatures and magic and yet with them a long series of history.

Pacing around the barren bar he turned his attention to The Silver Sword and Cyan Pistol as the runt of the scholar slightly cringed abit. "Evening..." he simply stated to the duo as he walked over to a nearby table.

Terrian the Scholar rested himself for a brief moment he had noticed one of the maiden of the trio pouting to herself with a stern look on her face foiling that of the laid back more whimsical woman next to her. The bar had been so barren he had actually noticed another patron walking inward.

Noting the arrival of Tahira Ali he turned back to he turned away to the window staring abruptly for a moment as he reflected on his rather eventless day.

Terrian the Scholar lugged his heavy satchel of books and tomes and other text across the side walk of the street. The half-elven short runt of a lad considered actually trying to find a more permanent place of residence within the city. If for nothing else, for practical storing space.

He turned his attention to that of Gambit's Bar the bright neon lights turned dull in the morning light and the bar room activity barely lively. The half-elf gazed up at the magnificent hotel feature towering upwards and the scholar began to consider if within such a popular inn would a cheap room be opened.

The short young man pushed his way through the main entrance way, lugging the satchel across his shoulders as he took a gander across the room. He side stepped out of Robo-Adept way encouraging the half-elven lad to find a seat for himself.

Closer inward he could see a sinister looking cloak firgure and that of a lilth elven woman exchanging words, unable to notice the strange runes from this angle and distance.

Terrian the Scholar slipped out an old dusty tome of a past age, a work originally scribed by a monk called Fernado Benous, a man who lived some 400-500 years ago during an age where history and learning was dwindling and fading out of the world.

The ancient text was riddled with clues and cryptic messages that made the scholar groaned for a bit before he hear the slight screams and panic of another patron only a few tables away. His eyes widen at the sight of Robo-Adept waving his hand in a blazzing inferno the scholar jumping out of his chair grasping a nearby glass of water.

"Great gods!" he exclaimed before he saw the fire was easily put out the scholar pausing before placing the water back down. "Who in the nine hells teach you to pronounce a spell like that? Because that person obviously waits you to burn your whole damn arm off.." he announced to the mage.

Terrian the Scholar rolled his eyes as he slouched upon his table "Well obviously it shows guy." he muttered to himself rather than the metal man. It was then when the scholar noticed something he did not before. Around the edges of the table only a few tables away their were a set of markings that seem quite familiar.

A dabbler in the studies of other planes of existence parallel to the Material Plane he was not quick to dismiss it as simple gibberish and general curiosity actually made the half-elf rose from his seat and begin to cautiously pace over to invesitigate.

Terrian the Scholar felt lousy and tired. Living in Side Alley did not entirely helped out having to dodge various thugs and crooks and other dregs that preyed on residences of the tenant town of Wing City. He kept his satchel to his sides as his black eyes lingered over to the bar that greeted those who entered and left the alley-way.

The neon lights were not shinning at the moment, at the sun was still up and the skies were still bright and the doors slightly creek from over use and popularity as he pushed through them to get inward.

[i]As Terrian the Scholar entered through the doors he turned to the massive destruction that was caused by an apathetic mad man. He pulled himself to the other edge of the bar as his device had smashed through the window, tables, chairs and even a few patrons who were now all a scattered mess, injured, dazed and dizzy on the floor.

The man apologized before Terrian peeked his head out "There are reasons you need lisciences to drive those infernal things pal..." he snarked.

Terrian the Scholar simply rolled his eyes as he took a seat at nearby table that was not utterly trashed. He pulled out a very old and dusty tome from his satchel placing it across the bar table as he inspected it for a brief moment. "Freedom to be a bloody idiot is more like it." he silently muttered to himself deciding to put this issue out of mind.

He took a gander at the ancient runic symbols across the cover, taking very special notes of their purposes and affliations before opening the pages. The entire book was a piece that was written in the tongue of dragons, a piece detailing about several important artifacts at the age of a Tyrant who breed dragons to control most of the know world at the time many ages ago... The script was interesting and the pictures were in great detail.

Terrian the Scholar paced down the street, it was early afternoon in Wing City as the traveling scholar had left his traveling cloak back at his apartment. He had wished that he did not as the half-elven lad was now shivering something awful as the small short young man wandered his way over to the Gambit's Bar.

Pushing through the doors the short scholar took a gander around the room, the few patrons moving about and in and out as he lugged a heavy satchel of books, tomes and scrolls over yonder. Somewhat irritated that his feet did not hit the floor of the stool he was sitting in he shifted his attention over to Nathan the man behind the counter. "Excuse me Barkeep, can I get a pint of ale?" he inquired.

Terrian the Scholar relaxed upon his seat for a while before lugging his satchel upward to place the bag upon the counter. As he did he noticed a young maiden sitting about three stools downward. It was something he would have simply turned his head away from but she was reading a tome that caught his attention.

The title was "An Examination of a Kraken's Respiratory System" by a woman named Dr. Elisha Curtican. His gaze was broken by the words of a voice next to him realizing it was that of the Bartender. "Oh.. Yes of course." he uttered as he reached into his person. He was slightly embarrassed to see that only on his person was a collection of copper pieces.

"On... second thought I would rather want a glass of water, its too early to start drinking. I'm apologize for the hassle." he announce bowing his head. He was a tad bit ashamed that he had barely enough to even buy a pint of ale... Great gods what was he to?

Terrian the Scholar took a gander at a silver piece upon the counter a somewhat bright smile came to his face before he brushed it off. If he started to accept charity now he would look like nothing but a beggar. The short half-elven man shifted his attention to the latest barkeeper walking behind the bar counter.

He could not help but blush before he smacked his own face promising himself to never fall head over heels for another pretty face and abs. Recollecting himself he left the silver piece where it was on the counter pulling out a leather bounded tome around it was old sketching of arcanic runes.

Opening the book he suddenly obtained the strange message from Eva. He paused as she was leaving for the woman's bathroom. He saw a strange outline of something... nasty he was no pyscian but he could tell that certainly needed to be looked at. Desperate or not, even the half-elf had morales.

Terrian the Scholar shifted his attention over to Nathan as he collected the silver piece from the counter. Wanting to slap his own fore-head he repressed the urge trying not to appear ungartiful or rude for the kind charity.

He turned his attention over to the maiden once more slightly rubbing his own neck as he uttered "Thanks." before offering a smile of apperication and then turning back to the tome before him.

Terrian the Scholar slightly rolled his eyes the moment he had heard Wren comment about the bar. He muttered something almost to himself as he leaned slightly against the bar counter. "You don't know the half of it." he uttered under his breath. After that brief moment he paused once more lifting his head up and turned his attention to Molly.

He turned his attention to the tome within his hand before tracing his runes upon the leather bound cover "'Almarak, Toshar Notrumu Vendill Valrun' 'It is I who seeks the fountain and sits besides it to gain its wisdom'... Its a 5th recopy from dragon worshiping cult that dwelled close to 700-800 years detailing the origin of magic... The theory has been replaced long since now but the exact study of the history is... interguing." he retold.

Terrian the Scholar shrugged "Back where I come from even at the time it predated dragons were the keepers of great power and knowledge and their have been many recorded cases in legend and history and lore of these keepers desiring to cheat death.. some by lichdom, some by magic and some by trying to ascend to god hood and with attempt ascension comes followers. Many of these orders were promised much for their loyality and faith be it protection, gold, knowledge, power and so forth." The Young scholar lectured "Though their has been an over whelming amount of evidence that many of these promises were only kept to the highest points in their orders and temples. . ."

It was then when he noticed Eva returned upon the scene. Taking a deep breath he rummaged through his own satchel and pull out a beautifully crafted vial made of cystral containing that of bright liquid.

"Pardon me Madame.. But.. Did you need some healing assitance?" he inquired.

Terrian the Scholar slightly broke from a small trance that he was under of self-reflection and thought. He took a gander around seeing new faces and new topics were being discussed in this bar room. His eyes fell to the pint of Ale which he had not touched the foamy drink still stationary at the counter as he lifted the tankard for a drink.

Placing it down his eyes wandered over to Akki again before he darted them back to the front of the bar instead. He then paused as a few voices overcame the room once more.

Terrian the Scholar continued to drink his tankard of fine brew by himself. His eyes darted back to the foreign script and detailed illustrations of runes and circles of various kinds. The 'fountain book' as it was dubbed by the arcanic community was a quite an interesting read and held a great amount of outlook from that mere point in history that could be greatly evaluated today.

Terrian the Scholar took a gander at the lecherous masked man who was leaning against the counter. He bid no mind to him for a small while simply continuing his tankard of ale but soon the tankard was low and he drew his nose out of the book to take a glance back at T.M.C.S. once more.

"Why in this world of Terra are you wearing that mask?" he inquired to him as he stared flatly at him.

Terrian the Scholar paused himself as he stroked his chin in slight intrigue. After a brief moment he spoke again "A hero? What matter of hero?" he inquired. He had heard of various masked avengers and those who wore disguises and performed acts of Heroics. But in such a diverse pool as Wing City a hero could mean almost anything.

Terrian the Scholar was actually quite impressed by the man's speech. Nodding his head he slowly lifted the pint of ale to finish the rest of the brew off. Finishing up he wiped his upper lip of the thick foam the ale left. "A noble cause sir..." he commented briefly.

Terrian the Scholar took a moment glancing at the man and then back to the counter. "I am a bit of historian you might say. I collect lore long lost from known society, the tales of the mistake of those long ago and collect, study and learn from them... Why they had happened, what factors contributed, what did they might do right and then spread this through a series of papers, and notes, and reports with the hope that man will be educated and know how to prevent these issues for the long-lasting future.." He stated.

After a moment he took a gander at the sword rolling his eyes another swashing buckling fool who thought more with his sword than his brains. "Would you mind not pulling that out. I am certain that gets quite dramatic but this is a bar, not a barrack."
