Description: – Tesla is a rather good looking male figure with a very fit athletic build, his powers can be thanked for that, but is not the tallest hero to grace the streets of the city he protects. He stands at an average height of five feet and nine inches above the ground, and has a full head of thick brown hair that he usually spikes to the side. Though he isn’t intimidating physically he is well toned and his powers over electromagnetism do provide a nice boost to his speed and strength. His eyes are a blue/green color and are admittedly very pretty for a young man, but he feels rather proud of this fact. When on the scene as the hero he wears a blue face mask, and a rather slim fit hoodie. But beyond that one will never catch this hero wearing skin tight suits or his underwear over his pants.

MENTALITY
Sexuality/Preference: – Straight
Relationship/Marital status: – Single
Family/relatives: – Jon and Christy Parker (parents); Easton Parker (sister); John Titus Templar (Mentor)
Sanity: – Suffer's what is known as the spider-man syndrome, which means that he tends to poke fun and joke around in the face of danger. Beyond that Tesla suffers from poor self-image, low-confidence, and depressive mood-swings.
Likes: – Solving mysteries, Playing the hero, Entertaining his friends, Booze, figuring out new ways to use his power, flirting with women, and writing.
Dislikes: - Being Outsmarted, Being called an Idiot, Spiders, Working too hard, Being unable to help, and himself at times.
Hobbies: – writing, reading, video games, and being a hero
Personality: – Tesla is a very caring individual and loves being able to help in whatever way he can. And thanks to his Mentor and his own religious beliefs he feels that even the worst of people deserve a second chance, but he isn’t opposed to stopping an individual permanently if the moment calls for it. When around friends he’s rather easy-going, funny, and caring of them; never leaving a group of friends without some form of a hug for each person. This loving personality tends to reflect itself while fighting bad-guys as he tries to strive for just knocking them out, talking them down, and playfully mocking them during the course of the event. Tesla isn’t beyond sacrifice as well, as his mentor has taught him, that a true hero isn’t determined by strength or willpower, but a hero is one willing to lay his life down for friends, innocents, and even enemies.

FIGHTING STYLE(S)
General/Preferred Style: – In close combat Tesla is a skilled user of Karv Maga and English Boxing, which he uses in combination with his powers to amplify the damage and take down of moves. He is also skilled in Marksmanship and Rapier as taught to him by his Mentor.
Hand-to-Hand: – Krav Maga and English Boxing
Special Abilities: – Tesla is a powerful superhero for the sole reason that he has the power of Electromagnetism and, thanks to his mentor, is a skilled and creative manipulator of all that entails. Electromagnetic users can create, shape and manipulate electromagnetism which (with the exception of gravitation) account for almost all physical phenomena observable to the unaided human senses, including light and other electromagnetic radiation, all of chemistry, most of mechanics (excepting gravitation), and of course magnetism and electricity. That said, only few truly powerful individuals are capable reaching such heights of power, most users have to content themselves with lesser if still impressive abilities.

Due to the intense versatility with electricity (such as electrocution, heat generation, computer and mind hacking, and electrolysis) and magnetism (such as metal manipulation, magnetic levitation, atomic manipulation, and attract and repel), electromagnetism is one of the most powerful and versatile elemental manipulation in existence.

HISTORY
Relationship Status: – Single
Known Languages: – English, Beginning French.
History: - Ryder Parker was a normal person who lived in Oklahoma and grew up going to church. He had dreams of going to college to become a writer and being able to start his own little entertainment team that could go into such medias like: writing, art, video games, films, and internet videos, and comic books. He spent a lot of his time with friends and went to work as a server in a mexican restaurant. So clearly the young man wasn’t the most remarkable person to grace existence, but he enjoyed his life and he loved his friends and dreamed big. During the Logos event, it was suspected that earth was bombarded with a cosmic radiation from the Logos Nebula, Ryder gained his powers over electromagnetism. It is unknown if that event was the cause of him gaining his power, though the theory holds some weight as this was when many others became meta-humans themselves. So did the Logos event create him, activate something inside, or was there something more to it? It is unknown, but that didn’t deter Ryder from picking up a mask and hoodie and going out to become Tesla. He started off just preventing minor crimes, and working with friends who also gained powers, but when John Titus came knocking he left with him. Under the guidance of the Immortal he was taught how to fight, learned everything he needed and more, and was developing his powers. When it was time for Tesla to end his training with John he went to California to become it’s own personal superhero and lead a team of heroes made up by old friends from Oklahoma. Recently he’s left the team, giving command to his best friend, and has moved out to Wing City. Where he believes he was called by his God to help.

So begins...

Tesla was standing at one of the many traffic lights in the neighborhood, according to the grapevine around Wing City was that this drug Elysium was the hot thing. Nasty stuff according to the informats able to easily overdose those with magical abilities but it made a man feel like he was large and in charge so it was easy to see the appeal.

But according to the snitches this was the territory that the irish mob did a lot of their dealings, and that they usually did their portal in a very notable dark blue sedan. And glory it seemed that one was going to roll up to a traffic light pretty soon.
Tesla had his mask off and his hood down to look like any normal citizen just standing around. He walked up to the light post with the button that requested permission for walkers to pass, but there wouldn’t be enough time before the car passed the traffic light if he just pressed it. So Tesla placed his hand on the pole and sent a small electrical pulse through the device. Kicking the light into yellow and timing it so that the Dark Blue Sedan would be the first car caught on red.

Tesla counted down and when he figured it was just right he sent another electrical pulse into the light to switch it into red. Causing the Sedan to be the first car caught on a red light. The walk way showed a little man and people began to cross. Tesla blended into the crowd as he walked by. Looking into the sedan to view the people inside if they obeyed the traffic light and stopped. If they had he would notice that these men were Irish looking and drove a car the informants described. Suspects if he knew any better.

Of course all the while he walked with the crowd across the street.

As the vehicle made it's turn, the black Rolls followed, still two car lengths until they came up to a red light. Now the black rolls was right behind the blue sedan, and though the windows were tinted a dark almost opaque color.

This was perfect, Sam simply nodded, and reached for his disruptor pistol, a military model that had been scuttled from a captured freighter.

Sam turned to David, before he opened the car door with a heavy thunk, holding the Disruptor pistol behind his back. It had been discussed that Sam would fire the first shots, and David would cover him. These were instructions delivered by the Guatrau himself.

Sam took several steps towards the blue sedan, with a crowd of people crossing the street, it would be hard to just floor it without drawing attention.

Sam only waited for the Irish to react. He was going to ask for directions.

He was vigilantly watching now, as one of the men in the Rolls stepped from his vehicle. Behind his back he held a gun; a Disruptor pistol. The man hustled toward the sedan in front of him, stopped at a red light. Convenient. It was then that he noticed a pedestrian watching the scene intently, whereas everyone else seemed to not notice. He had to be in on it somehow.

However, his attention was primarily focused on the man with the gun. From his belt, Batman produced a disruptor of his own: it was meant to deactivate guns with electronic systems with a wireless scrambling signal. It would effectively negate the gun's response to a trigger pull. Targeting the Disruptor pistol, he activated the device, just in case. He could only hope those things didn't have some sort of fail safe to prevent such a tactic.

Now he just needed to sit back and watch what would happen next. Hopefully nothing would come of this: he still needed to know where the Irish called home in this city.

The car came to a screeching halt at the light, they weren't expecting it to turn so quickly. They were sure it was the fault of whoever was supposed to keep the city operating.

"Oh, come on." Liam said, letting out a frustrated sigh. "Move it!" He called out to the people, "That ain't gonna make da' light change any faster." George informed Liam, "Calm down. We're only around da' corner."

"There's a man approaching." The hooded man in the backseat said, "Floor it." He ordered.

"What? There's people here." Liam said, gesturing out at the people crossing the street.

"Drive through them." The hooded man said, "I don't like this."

"You're off your nut, man." George told the hooded man, "I ain't driving through 'dem." He said, "You'll die if you don't." The hooded man told George and Liam.

"You threatenin' us, lad? My da' brought you on, but a quick bullet'll take ya' out." Liam retorted.

There was silence. Liam's eyes on the man in the backseat, that man's eyes on the man on approach.

The hooded man opened his door and climbed out of the car, slamming it shut and power walking towards the crowed. He kept his head low, trying to keep as much of his face as possible out of cameras. He had no problem leaving the Irishmen behind.

This was an interesting turn of events when one of the irishmen came power walking out of the car, and slamming the door behind him, and made his way into the crowd crossing the street. Tesla watching the events as he looked over his shoulder and no turning completely around as the irishman walked into the crowd. Had Tesla brought attention to himself, he thought.

“Shit.” he said, hiding his word under his breath.

He noticed the silhouette of a gun that the man held behind his back now that he was on the opposite side of the street. This was going to end horribly but how was Tesla to know some rival gang was tailing the irishmen and waiting for some random time to attack. Like a busy traffic light for example.

Tesla gripped the crosswalk pole and sent an electrical pulse through the device. The crosswalk lit up with a red glowing hand and the traffic light quickly turned green. Tesla Waited for the citizens to completely pass the street and he shot his hand into air.

“Everyone down!” He said, shooting a huge arc of lightning into the air that even came with it’s own small thunder clap. This would of course cause people to run down the sidewalk in a panic and the car’s packed at the traffic light want to speed off.

Sam kept silent as he stopped roughly five paces from the car. He flipped a small switch on the side of the pistol, arming it. Despite the scrambler being broadcast from Batman's position. Had the dark knight done his research on the Aschen Empire, he would likely learn that Aschen Military Technology was hardened against external interferences, through the use of crystal encased conductive gel matrices, the sensitive controls of the Pistol would be impervious to outside interference.

The Hadante made Tommy-gun RCW that David used would likely not fare so well.

There was a sudden crack as Tesla unleashed his lightning attack, this caused Sam to make a quick decision and withdraw his weapon.

He didn't take any time to level his aim or line up the sights, instead he doubled back towards the idled rolls before he fired several shots into the blue sedan, brilliant green streaks of light cutting through metal, and flesh of anyone that happened to be in the line of fire. This was David's cue as Sam bolted towards his car to get inside.

David popped his own door open and stepped out onto the street, though he stayed next to the car for the cover it would afford. While Sam saw to the people still in the vehicle ahead, David's attention followed the hooded man who had gotten out.

David raised his gun up to his shoulder and sighted down it. He had a clear shot of the man walking towards the crowd.

Click.

Nothing. He frowned. The weapon had powered down. Assuming it a weapons malfunction he threw the weapon back into the vehicle. The hooded man was closing the distance to the crowd and David withdrew his plasma pistol to line up another shot. The weapon didn't even power up.

It was at that point that he realized something was up.

David let out a Tauron curse and discarded the pistol before he withdrew a metal apparatus from his coat and slipped it onto his hand where it fit similar to a glove with a red gem resting in the palm. At this distance it wouldn't offer as much accuracy or efficiency as a gun in covering Sam's return to the vehicle, but it seemed to be functioning which was a fair bit of an improvement over nothing.

Should Sam reach the car, he would slide back into his own seat as well.

When the lightning flew into the air the Irishmen ducked, George slamming a foot on the gas to get away from the scene. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he was sure he and Liam didn't want any part of it right now.

The car didn't get far when Sam's shots slammed into it, one of the shots grazing George's foot. The man slammed down on the gas harder than he wanted, reeling in pain simultaneously. George let go of the wheel.

"Holy fuck!" Liam shrieked, reaching out to take the steering wheel. He did his best to control the vehicle, but the damage was done. The dark blue sedan couldn't be controlled, it barreled off into a building not far from the intersection. Smoke rose from it's beat up engine.

"Motherfucker!" Liam shouted, throwing himself from the totaled car. He took a step, but turned immediately to get back into the car. He opened up the glove box, pulling out as much of the money tucked inside as possible and jamming it into every pocket he had.

The Irishman sprinted away from the scene, stopping a mailbox. He dug a pistol out from his waistband, dropping it into the mailbox before continuing on. The cops would be on their way and they knew him, it was much better if they caught him without a gun.

Then again, he was walking away from a car crash with a few thousand dollars.

It was time to move: Shots were fired, and the sedan sped through the streets. The driver eventually lost control, and the vehicle rammed into a nearby building. Batman watched as Liam evacuated the totaled car, leaving the driver behind, taking with him as much money as he could. Liam made his way to a mailbox, removing a gun from his waistband and ditching it inside. It was a move in the right direction, but it wouldn't help him; in fact, the Irishman would probably wish he'd kept the damned thing in a moment.

He jumped from the rooftop, the electrical current that emanated from his gloves activating the respondent fibers in his cape, gliding toward the escaping gangster. He was able to swoop over him, landing on the ground ahead, his back to the black-haired thug. He slowly turned, facing the fleeing criminal.

"I think this is your stop," Batman said dryly. His gaze burned into Liam's, a look that was a mixture of hate and warning, taunting the mobster to try something, anything. "If you're smart, you'll stay where you are."

Tesla had to act fast during all the commotion and that was what he intended to do; he pulled out his face mask from his hoodie’s pouch and threw the hood over his head. That took no time at all and he quickly threw his hand out in front of himself and aimed it at the car of the attacker.

What he projected out towards the vehicle was a strong emp pulse, that unlike a flashy lightning bolt was a nearly invisible force of energy. This was to fry the car battery and if at all possible fry the electronic weapons that the thugs were using in their violent display of power just a moment ago.

Tesla didn’t want to risk harming anyone so disabling the vehicle and any of the weapons on them was goal number one. Next he had to neutralise the threat. He knew that the irishmen might get away, but drugs will continue to be sold so there was always a second chance for that.

The meta-human charged his hands, his limbs sparked and emitted light, all as a display to intimidate the gangsters as he made his way to their vehicle . Hoping his display of power would provide the psychological impact to impede anyone’s desire for combat.

“Come on guys I know Traffic is awful in the city, but is that really any reason to go shooting at someone?” he said, raising his voice for them to hear. “I mean that is some serious road rage!”

Once again the same Technology that allowed Sam's weapon to resist the scrambling from the Batman, also allowed the weapon to be unfazed by the EMP blast.

Sam had to act quickly, and with the car now dead from the EMP, he had to get out before the Police arrived.

"Frak me.." He mumbled as he threw the driver door open and then he took cover behind the door.

"Get out of here!" He shouted to David. "Get out of here and get help! I'll keep these wackos busy" He called out, while David made his escape, before Sam spotted the masked electrical man. "Frakking magic users.." Sam growled before he reached into his jacket pocket.

Pulling out an Anti-Magical grenade, he tossed it in the direction of the electrified metahuman, following up with several shots from his Disruptor pistol, green streaks of energy surging towards him. Sam had to improvise, and after the first two shots, he quickly dove into the car, closing the door with an audible thunk.

The Tauron car was full of suprises, and as Sam pulled a control panel open, he had to key several commands but the car's power source switched to a hidden Microfusion reactor. With lights indicating green, a milky white bubble formed around the car.

"That should keep them out..." He said as he slid out another compartment which held a T-65 Combat skin.

"Hope the hard light keeps them out..." He said as he threw off his jacket and pants, and donning the skin tight under-suit to the combat skin.

Piece by piece, while encased in a bubble of hard-light, Sam donned the Combat skin.

Police sirens wailed, growing closer by the second. The few cops in the area were quick to respond when the calls came in, they'd been working over time to keep the peace and deter the criminals since the elections were announced. Proving they deserved funding and the support of the government.

Policing Wing City was a shit job sometimes.

A black sedan and a few squad cars rolled past Liam, the Irishman letting out a sigh of relief. He seemed to be in the clear for now and as far as he knew he wasn't injured. When the adrenaline wore off he'd know for sure if he didn't get hit.

Liam broke off into a sprint, trying to get away from the scene as fast as possible. No one would question a guy running away from gunshots and car accidents, would they?

Apparently vigilantes would. Liam didn't get very far when he ran into the costumed man, raising an eyebrow at him. "Fuck off." He said, reaching for his waist.

There was no gun. He dumped the gun.

"You've got ta' be fuckin' kiddin' me." The Irishman said, defeated.

The squad cars came to full stops at the intersection, police officers approaching the wrecked car and the men who seemed to be facing off with each other. "Hands up!" A cop shouted, the black sedan pulling up behind him.

A dark-skinned woman climbed out of the sedan, pistol drawn almost instantly. Her deep purple trenchcoat barely concealing the armored vest she wore.

"Please don't run." The woman said, not at all confident that the men would listen to her or any of the other officers.

The two men stood facing each other: The Dark Knight and the Irish gangster. Police cars roared past to where the Rolls was sat stationary, having deployed a strange substance Batman had rarely seen. However, he had faith in the police's ability to handle that situation; they had, however, looked over the fleeing mobster. So he stared, still, his gaze searing into Liam's.

"Fuck off," the Irishman said, dipping for his now-abandoned gun. The look of awestruck revelation was painted on Liam's face, as the realization that he had possibly made a horrendous mistake dawned on him. "You've got ta' be fuckin' kiddin' me," he said, exasperated. His accent was thick and genuine; Batman had taken a sample recording of the man's voice, just in case. "This doesn't have to be difficult. For either of us. I can either escort you to jail, or to the hospital. It's your call."

His words were blunt, plainly laid out. What happened next was the Irishman's decision. Batman just hoped he made the right one; the one that didn't involve kicking the criminal's teeth in.

Tesla watched as the grenade was flung and did a literal electric slide to evade the first two shots fired at him. This move shifted the man in a quick blur of motion to avoid being shot and but forgot about the grenade until it was too late and it went off.

But surprisingly nothing happened, simply because Tesla’s powers were not based on principles of magic, he thought the grenade a dud and thanked his God that it was. But now the man was in his car and activated a hard light shield around the car. Tesla shot one lightning bolt at the car and took notice of this fact rather soon.

“Shields, huh?” he said. “Well shields can’t change the fact that the car is made of metal.” Tesla lifted his left hand slightly above his chest, the limb still sparking and radiating light. And Sam would soon find that his car was being lifted into the air seamlessly.

Tesla immediately began using the magnetic properties of his powers and started spinning the car. The floating vehicle gaining speed fast. Causing Sam inside to experience at the least 10 Gs as the improvised centrifuge reached faster speeds.

“We’ll make an astronaut out of you yet, boy!”

Sam had managed to fasten the under-suit, and all the critical components when the car started to lift up. The calls the cops made out to him had gone ignored while the hard light shield shimmered around the car.

Spinning rapidly, the Tauron mobster was pinned against the seat of the car as it began to spin faster.

"Frak me..." He grumbled, struggling to grasp the suit's helmet, but he managed to succeed until the Gs built up, with the visor closed, the suit's inertial dampeners engaged, freeing the body from the brutal g-forces that it was being subjected too.

With enhanced strength, and the full power of the Combat skin, Sam pushed himself free from the seat to disengage the Hard-light shield.

The Suit's shields charged up, and all systems were responding nominally. With insulated circuitry and hardened electronics, the suit would be impervious to the electrical manipulations that Tesla used. The armored plating non-conductive, insulating the user further from electrical attacks.

In a flash of light, Sam blinked out of the car.

Seconds later, he re-appeared several feet from Tesla, clad in full Aschen combat armor, and bearing no distinguishing markings.

"You're going to have to do better than that." He called out, his accent mincing his words slightly. Given his outfit, he could pin this on the Imperial Government "This isn't your fight, but now since you're sticking your nose in I'll have to make you pay, the full weight of the Empire will come to bear, and you will be crushed!"

Already cops had began to trickle in, but they were largely ignored by the armored man.

"Where's our backup?" Charlie asked, "These guys aren't going to come quietly. We might have a fight or a chase on our hands." The woman told the other officers, "We could try to move in, take at least one of them down. Injure one, keep him from going far." A police officer suggested.

But when Sam disappeared and then reappeared near Tesla that idea was quickly shot down. "Injuring someone who can teleport away won't help unless we can get eyes in the sky or suddenly figure out his limitations." Charlie said, "Stay back. Tell backup to hurry and be ready to move."

A little ways down the street Liam was busy having his own standoff. It was fight or flight. He preferred not to fight without his guys and his gun, but the only other way to run was back towards the police. He had doubts that any of the buildings had unlocked doors after what just started.

Maybe the cops would ignore him. What were the chances that a detective, or NPA agent, was on the street who could ID him?

"Fuck it!" He said, turning to run back towards the intersection. That idea was probably as bad as trying to fight, but that crazy lightning guy was probably gone by now.

Tesla was looking up at the car that was spinning and felt the energy of the hard light shield fade away, and suddenly there was a quick flash of light from the vehicle. Tesla halted the car’s spinning and was surprised when he heard the voice ring behind.

He made a sharp turn as he spun on the balls of his feet and took a look at the armored man. The armored man who decided that he wanted to monologue to Tesla. Why does every bad guy monologue, he thought. But he let the man talk as he lowered his hand to his side, but he didn’t need a lifted hand to control the car with his magnetic manulption.

“Hey, Tron, can I call you Tron?” he asked. Moving the high floating car just above the man as he was talking. “You say the full weight of the empire, but I’m not sure just how heavy that is. If I’m going to be crushed can you tell me how much that is in like pounds, or perhaps give me an example to go off of. For example would being crushed by your empire be like, oh I don’t know, like being crushed by a car?”

Tesla’s arm’s stopped sparking and when they did the car floating above the armored man would fall down directly on top of him. Though Tesla would make sure to keep the car from killing him by keeping a magnetic grip on the vehicle at all times.

There was a moment of stillness between them, as the world devolved into a hellish state around them. Sirens wailed, voices screamed, and metal was wrenched and torn. But between them, there was only that motionless calm; the serenity that exists between two gunslingers facing each other down on the dusty street of an old ghost town. Suddenly, that tranquility was broken. "Fuck it!" Liam turned, sprinting towards the calamity that was unfolding behind them. He sought the solace that would come from the chaos, becoming just another fleeing face among the rattled citizenry that scrambled for dear life in the streets.

However, Batman feared he couldn't let the mobster get too far. As much as he hated to diminish a criminal's hopes of escape, he couldn't help the fact that he couldn't let Liam escape. Freeing the Batclaw from its place at his side, he aimed, squeezing the trigger, the pressurized mechanism releasing, flying toward the escaping Irishman.

"Oh no you don't," Batman called as the claw gripped Liam's belt, yanking him to a dead halt. He then took the time to retract the cable, tensing the steel fiber cord as it pulled Liam back to him. He left Liam there, on his ass on the pavement. "Running won't help you, punk. It's over."

Ahead, he glimpsed at the scene erupting on the highway: A large, armored man was fighting an electric-powered metahuman, furiously it seemed. He felt he wouldn't have to interfere just yet, but if worse came to worse, he would have to intervene at some point. In the meantime, he had to focus on Liam.

The armored man stood there as the car hovered above him, as it was left to fall, Sam raised his arms and caught the car, essentially preventing it from falling, before he moved to throw the car towards Tesla, then he vanished in a flash of white light.

He appeared on an adjacent rooftop, arms crossed in front of him. "Frak I love these Combat skins." He grinned from under the opaque visor before a communication rang into the suit.

"Sam, It's Titus, I've got your distress call, Hang on tight shit's about to get real. You're going to love Netan's new toy. Paint your target and clear minimum safe distance."

The Mobster canted his head in slight confusion, and then looked down to Tesla. He stood there in silence, unmoving as he stared the meta-human down.

"Your tricks are as lame as your powers." The Mobster said, grasping a monomolecular ceramic blade from the suit while designating the whole area.

"Is it me, or are things about to get hot?"

"Batten down the hatches, Sam, Danger close jump!" The radio chirped again.

When the claw grabbed his belt and yanked him to the ground Liam did the only thing he could do. He flailed and reached for anything he could grab. The thought occurred to him to take off his belt or pants, but if he was going to be locked it would be fully clothed.

He wasn't that desperate.

"Okay, man! I give up!" Liam shouted to the vigilante, "Don't rip me fuckin' slacks off. Please." The Irish gangster pleaded, still being dragged yet still reaching for poles, benches, and anything else bolted to the ground. "Hey! Coppers! Look! Help!" Liam shouted.

The police officers were too busy trying to deal with the bigger problem. As more squad cars and eventually SWAT vans arrived on the scene, it became clear that it was time to put an end to this nonsense. "The NPA is on their way too." One of the newly arrived officers said.

"We'll have to go without them for now, I think." Charlie said, "I agree." The SWAT commander said, "Put them down hard if they resist. See if we can pin down the one on the roof. Tell them to hurry up with that bird."

The WCPD wasn't fooling around right now. The SWAT teams moved, several approaching the building Sam was on top off looking for a way in. They had to get to him before he could teleport away. Hopefully there was an elevator or two.

The others were quickly approaching Tesla.

"Hands up!"

"Get down!"

"Don't fucking move!"

Charlie and the beat cops began to close in on Tesla as well, ready to open fire with their better-equipped counterparts if need be.

Cuffing the mobster and binding his feet with steel cable, Batman hauled Liam onto his shoulder, grappling to the top of a nearby building. From there, he was able to lower the criminal down to the street.

By lower, it is meant that Liam plummeted towards the pavement until he was just the right height to decelerate and touch the ground gently, wrapped up neatly as a present for the WCPD.

From there, he decided to hang back, just in case. He watched the scene through his cowl's lenses, observing, planning. He would have to study the armored mobster before he could act. Rushing in head first would be tantamount to suicide. Unless he called in a drop for his own armored suit right now, he doubted he could jump in at this moment and fend that tyrant off.

He would just have to wait and see how he could handle the situation.

Tesla might not be able control the suit but he could certain sense the electricity that it used as well as the metal of the suit. And what the man seemed to forget was that his metal suit, while maybe not conductive, did not mean that the metal still wasn’t able to be magnetized. Non-conductive didn’t mean non-magnetic.

Being able to sense the metal and energy signature of the suit he looked up at the building that the man had blinked onto. Tesla rolled his eyes and pressed his thumb and forefinger against the bridge of his nose.

“I hate teleporting.” he said. Tesla shook his head and looked toward the car as his own mind rushed to the past. Earlier the man had to deactivate the hard light shield before he could blink.

“Guy can’t teleport if his atoms can’t escape to a new location.” he said under his breath. Tesla used his electrical powers to slide over to the car in a flash and he sat down in the car. Of course he had the door still open when the man yelled down at him.

“Your the one teleporting around, and i’m the lame one?” he said. Tesla shook his head and looked at the control panel of the car. He put his hand on the panel and began messing with the electrical signals unto the hard light shield flashed on. Tesla smiled and placed his hand on the shield that it created around the car.

He felt the energy flow of the shield and took a few deep breaths; he was employing a tactic his mentor taught him about the properties of his electromagnetic powers. He learned the wavelength and light radiation pattern that created the shield and memorized it mind how it felt. He took a deep breath and the the shield flashed in and out of existence until it finally faded away.

“Lame? You’re the one wearing a power suit that lets you teleport and i’m the lame one?” he said. Tesla shook his head and smiled wide at the man, though it wasn’t like he could see him as far as he was in the dark of the night.

Tesla lifted himself in the air using his magnetic powers to interact with the metal surrounding the city letting him lift and propel himself. Something he learning from reading comic books this time, and not so much learning from his mentor this time.

Tesla propelled himself toward Sam and landed softly on the roof beside him. “Come on, Tron, how about we just call this a night? You surrender yourself to the police and no one gets hurt. I’m sure you’ll be out of jail in a few years if you act good.”

Sam simply chuckled, and then he held his arms out. "You win, I surrender." He said as he took a step forward.

"I'll come quietly." Sam added from atop the building, that was until there was a tear in the skies above the city, a distortion in the very fabric of space and time.

"Rolling in! Get ready for cover and extraction!" The Voice chirped again, and then there was a brilliant flash of light followed by a deafening sonic boom, a massive shock-wave spread out in all directions, shattering windows and overturning cars.

What was now in the sky could only be described as astonishing, three miles of massive bulbous ship hovering above the city like a scene from your every typical alien invasion movie. A Reverence I class Planetary Assault Carrier.

The original Aschen military nameplate had been removed, and the ship's finish looked more worse for wear. In crude paint, the ship's name had been scrawled on the side. "Lucius"

It was a recent acquisition, a decommissioned military vessel hijacked before it could be scrapped, and then sold to the Hadante Military through weapons smuggling rings that dotted the Empire.

It wasn't long before Tesla found himself staring down a bank of Turbodisruptors, with a sudden ripple of energy from bow to stern, weapons batteries traversed and opened fire, sending brilliant and massive bolts of green light, which liquefied the ground into molten slag, cars, buildings, and anything else caught in the storm of weapons fire.

The Energy projector followed suit, discharging a massive column of plasma, it swept all the way down main street, glassing everything in it's path, including Tesla should he not take immediate evasive action, along with any straggling cops.

A purple column of light followed, enveloping Sam on the rooftop, and drawing him up into the bowels of this massive ship.

He grinned from the black visor, and waved at the city as he ascended into the ship. All while the Reverence punished the city below.

Tesla couldn’t believe his eyes as the massive ship made a sudden appearance in the night sky, that leviathan flying in the sky ready to fire all it’s weapons down on the city below. All the innocent people wouldn’t stand a chance, they would all die if something wasn’t done.

“You MotherFucker!” he said. Tesla’s eyes glowed a very bright white light and sparks shot out. He jumped off the side, floating in midair using his powers, and reached up using his electromagnetic powers to magnetize Sam’s suit and sent a burst of energy down on the street below.

It was about time Sam learned the hard way that non-conductive didn’t mean he wasn’t immune to magnetic properties. Literally turning the ground below into a strong electromagnet that would not just pull on Sam but send him flying down to the concert below like a metator.

Tesla though didn’t have time to worry about if the attack connected though. He flew down to the ground like a lightning bolt. He leaned onto the crosswalk post and began absorbing the energy from the entire city grid.

“I won’t let you kill all these innocent people!” he yelled. He remembered the wavelength and radiation pattern of the hard light shield and with an entire city block power grid powering him up he might actually have the chance at protecting a few lives.

And so Tesla did his best creating a large hard light shield over the city block that was under attack. Absorbing more energy from the city grid and trying to make it bigger. Protecting the people for now from the energy and plasma that reign down from the sky like a biblical event.

Blood seeping down his nose and his eyes engulfed by a pure white glow of energy.

Hell was raining down around them, and the streets were being converted into puddles of molten asphalt. Plasma bursts were obliterating the city as they cascaded down, threatening to demolish all in their path.

"Oh my God....." Batman was at a loss at the sheer firepower behind the craft. He regained himself, steeling his nerves as he activated his communicator. "This is Batman; requesting assistance planetside on Terra. These are my coordinates....." He relayed the information quickly, trying to get a response ASAP. "I'm facing a massive ship demolishing the city. I need backup now!"

It wasn't long, however, before the clouds burst apart. Descending into the atmosphere was a blur of blue and red.

Superman.

He came to a stop beside the Dark Knight, looking up. "How ya holdin' up?" Clark asked. "I'm fine", Batman replied, "But maybe we should focus on that first," he said, turning his attention to the warship above them. Superman merely nodded, flying up to deal with the giant machine. Dodging cannon fire was easy enough, and he was able to utilize his heat vision, cutting at the ship's external armor, attempting to weaken the structure, and possibly sever a cannon or two.
