Description

The Grey Battalion

The Troops

ImageThe Troops of the Grey Battalion are made up of Clones of their Commander: Kinara. However, unlike their Grey-Jedi Commander, they all have stark differences. For one, they are not force sensitive, none of them have a sensitivity to the force large enough to be counted as candidates for any kind of Force training. For another thing, they are both biologically Male and Female, adding diversity to the individuals of the millions of Clones being made for the Grey Battalion.

Each and every Clone wears specially designed and made a plastoid, metallic armor made from a mix of Durasteel, Shadowsilk, and Zakuulian silk with a special, sealed bodysuit that appears as a rubbery substance to absorb outside trauma and keep the body of each individual soldier functioning perfectly, cooling or warming as needed, also made from Shadowsilk and Zakuulian silk. The mixture of Shadowsilk and Zakuulian Silk not just simply makes the armor comfortable to wear, it also makes it light-saber resistant, allowing superb protection from all manner of damage. They carry what can be assumed to be a modern-day Assault Rifle, however these weapons are indeed Blaster Rifles with a minimum magazine size of 200 shots at full power. These rifles can be adjusted in terms of how much power each shot uses, allowing for a maximum of 500 shots per magazine at an optimized power-level. They carry heavy duty Blaster Pistols as side arms, and are trained in all weapons that they use, to replace any who fall in combat. Each Clone is allowed some sort of Customization of their armor, however each are restricted based on Rank and roll within the Battalion.

Standard soldiers are seen to the right. They carry standard issue rifles and pistols, and have standard Crimson markings on their otherwise Grey armor. Snipers are allowed the greatest degree of armor customization as what they decorate their armor, as they need to perfectly blend in with their surroundings without the use of a stealth field projector or something similar. They also carry Solid-Projectile Rifles, equivalent to 1. Caliber. Flame-Troopers generally have similar markings to the Standard Clone, but have a Flame Insignia on their armor somewhere, generally on their chest or on their helmet. Medics, likewise, have the same design, however with a medical Cross on their armor somewhere, usually on their chest and back, small enough to be identified by friendly soldiers, but not the enemy. Squad Leaders generally have both Crimson, and either Black or White markings on their armor, allowing the men to see them clearly and rally to them in times of trouble. The Commander, a Clone calling himself Kaal, has the Symbol of the Grey Jedi, and therefore The Battalion, on the Pauldrons of his armor, and his armor is a blend of Green and Black, like hi Jedi-General's lightsabers. Special Ops Soldiers have solid Black Armor, and sound-dampening additions to their bodies and weapons.

The Vehicles

Image Speeder Bikes are used by the Clones as fast Transport, Snipers, Scouts, and Messengers use these agile bikes to zoom around the terrain at speeds reaching upwards of Two Hundred and Fifty MP/H on a flat, paved Surface. When on uneven, hazardous Terrain, these bikes can turn themselves into Hover-Bikes by running an Electrical current between the tires to lift them off the ground by using the magnetic properties of the planet they're on at the time.

They are generally Black, with Grey Detailings across the shining surface of the Bikes. They can be equipped with light Blaster-Repeaters for suppressing fire should they need it. A squad of Normal Clones can use these as a sort of "Wolf Pack" and harass the Enemy supply lines with hit-and-run attacks meant to lower morale and steal what they can. The Bikes are made of a light but durable material, and rarely need repairs until after a campaign.

Image The Juggernaut Transport Tank is what many would consider a relic from the Clone Wars, but with Kinara's specifications, these behemoths can withstand multiple blasts from Main Battle Tanks, reach speeds upwards of One Hundred and Twenty Miles and Hour over most terrains, are amphibious with a speed of Sixty Knots. They have Great Suspension systems allowing all Eight of their Wheels to move independently, turn for optimum handling, and continue to operate even when almost fully destroyed. They carry four Squads of 11 Soldiers for a total of 44 troops per tank.

They are also lightly armed to support the Troops they drop off into Combat Zones, with the loading hatch in the back of the vehicle for safe departure during combat missions. The hull has also been modified so that the Soldiers within the hold can use their weapons in slots at the side of the hull, helping with suppressing fire and with breach-and-clear missions without having to leave the safety of the tank in a less-than-favorable environment.

Image The Protector Anti-Air mobile gun platform is to provide Anti-Air support to the troops as they advance, whilst the stationary batteries stay at their base of operations. They fire heavy Duty Blaster Bolts, and can be compared to Mobile Turbo-Laser batteries used for AA support. They are often hidden very well and advance about half a mile behind the very front lines. They have a range with their missiles of about three Kilometers, while the Laser Canons have a range of One and a Half Kilometers, reaching to just in front of the Front Lines. They are also found protecting the Mobile Artillery batteries, along with some assault walkers, should enemy troops break through the lines and the artillery isn't able to move out of the way in time.

Image The Old UTAT from the Clone Wars, or Trident Artillery, is a Mobile Artillery vehicle capable of lobbing high-explosive, armor/bunker penetrating, smoke, and flame rounds to a range of twelve Kilometers when at full tilt. They help provide artillery support for the Troops as they advance towards the enemy position. The only real modification Kinara made to these otherwise very reliable pieces of equipment was the rifling of the barrels, and the conversion to Solid Projectiles instead of Blaster bolts as the turrets were used to firing in the Clone Wars. Solid Projectiles gave a much more reliable Artillery piece that wouldn't be exposed to enemy attack as easily, rendering an armor upgrade un-needed. Minor modifications include increased engine power, and a better method of moving the whole vehicle, as well as modifications to each main battery gun, allowing them to move more independently of each other, and be able to fire at three different targets if the need arose.

Image
The AT-MBT or All Terrain-Main Battle Tank, is an extensive upgrade of the old Republic Walkers such as the ATOT or ATTE, and replaces them both. Higher off the ground to avoid Mines, and with Four Legs rather than Six or Eight, the AT-MBT is able to walk on, as the name implies, all terrains, save for air. It is sealed, so it can be used under water or even in space if need be. Replacing the turret atop of it with a single Heavy Turbo Laser Battery, the main armament has been upgraded significantly. With triple-barreled Blaster Cannons on all four sides, one up front, two on either side, and one in the back, it is well defended from enemy infantry while the Main Cannon takes care of enemy vehicles, gun emplacements, and buildings with ease. It is equipped with homing rockets for minor Anti-Air defense as well, though it by itself won't be shooting down any enemy aircraft.

The Ships

Image The Tartan Patrol Cruisers are the defenders of the two Acclamator Class Cruisers that are serving the Silver Battalion as Medical and Rehabilitation ships for the troops and pilots of the Battalion. They are modified with double the usual eight laser cannons in order to produce a heavier anti-air support screen to shield the Acclamators from assault from all sides. They are manned primarily by droids, whose primary function is to keep the ships running at optimal efficiency.

Image The most numerous of Kinara's ships, the Acclamator Assault Ships come in three Unit-Blocks, or 21 ships in total, with two of those 21 acting as Medical and Rehabilitation ships for the troops of the Silver Battalion. They are armed with numerous Quad-Turbo Laser batteries for ship-to-ship combat, as well as numerous point defense turrets to help defend against single craft attacks as well.

They are one of few ships that can land on a planet's surface safely, and do so to deploy large numbers of Troops and Vehicles as well as provide a base of Operations for the Silver Battalion on hostile Planets. They possess a ramp with which to deploy large numbers of troops at once once landed, and have been modified with drop pods for an orbital insertion of troops and light vehicles when needed, particularly for blitzkrieg assaults of enemy positions. They lack a hangar of their own, and are therefore unable to launch fighter support for the troops on the ground. They can however use their Turbo Laser Batteries as an Orbital Bombardment from above the battle.

Image The Venator-Class Star Destoyer act as dual role ship, acting as both Battle-Cruiser and Carrier. It has four Hangars, two on the sides, one on the bottom, and the main hangar on the top. The two armor plates (Colored red in the ref) can slide apart to allow for the strike force of Fighters, Bombers, and Gunships to all leave within a quick amount of time and get into the fight quickly. Each Ship in the Unitblock is equipped with multiple Heavy Turbo Lasers, Medium Turbo Lasers, numerous Point Defense Turrets, and even six Tractor Beam generators to capture enemy ships and hold them in place. If the Venators work together, they can trap an enemy ship in place, and allow for the Grey Battalion to board and capture the ship.

They, along with the modified Sabre Classes, are the bulk of the Fleet's anti-Capital ship firepower, and when focusing fire, can make short work of most any enemy ships. Their shields are superbly strong, as is their armor. They carry a compliment of Fighters and Bombers. Each Venator carries three Fighter Squadrons, two Bomber Squadrons, and twenty Troop Transports and Heavy Transports for Vehicles.

Image The Sabre Class Star Destroyer is the newest addition to the Fleet of the Grey Battalion in the form of Seven Unitblocks. The original Sabre Class were only 600 meters in length, but thanks to Kinara's specifications, the size was upped to 2100 Km, and its armarment was upgraded accordingly, and then sextupled in strength. At first glance, each Sabre Class looks like a bigger version of the orginal, however when Battle-Stations come online, all of the added Guns rise from the hull and begin their onslaught. Upgrading the regular 8 Medium Turbo Lasers to 48 Super Heavy Turbo Lasers when at full battle readiness, with appropriate side armaments, as well as two large laser pods on either side of the hanger to burn through Enemy Armor disguised as Interdictor Gravity Wells.

They have two small hangars on either side, as well as a bottom hangar for deploying their own fighters, bombers, and transport Gunships. Each Sabre Class is equipped with Two Fighter Squadrons, one Bomber Squadron, and fifteen Troop Transports.

The Obsidian Eagle

Image A Valiant Class Star Destroyer, The Obsidian Eagle is Kinara's Flagship within the Grey Battalion, and acts as her personal home. From her Four Hangars, the Obsidian Eagle can unleash Five Fighter Squadrons, Ten Bomber Squadrons, and well over One-Hundred Transport Gunships of both sizes. It is also modified heavily as per Kinara's design choices, with Fifty Super Heavy Turbo Laser Batteries, Seventy Five laser Canons, and hundreds of point defense turrets. As well as Ten Torpedo Tubes, five in in the bow and five in the aft. To account for all of these offensive capabilities, the Eagle was recently upgraded in size, moving from 3 Km in length to 5 Km.

The Eagle was also recently equipped with a new design choice by Kinara, out of the knowledge that her opponents may be able to outgun her. She has added a large Glassing Beam to the bottom of the Obsidian Eagle, able to completely decimate anything beneath it. The only thing more powerful would be a Super Laser equivalent to that of the Death Star.

The Assertor

Image Yet another new addition to Kinara's fleet, the modified, 22km Long Assertor Class Super Star Destroyer is the most heavily armed and armored ship in Kianra's fleet. It is also one of the fastest, with numerous Aft Thrusters to propel her at great speed.

She is armed with 500 5-gun Batteries of Super-Heavy Turbolasers, 200 batteries of Regular Laser Canons, countless Point Defense batteries, and Twenty Forward and Ten Aft Torpedo Tubes. She is also equipped with Nine huge Hangars, four on each side and one on her belly. She carries 50 Squads of Fighters, 70 Squads of Bombers, and Hundreds of Transports.

The Single Ships

Image
The Shadow Wing Class Star/Air-Superiority Fighter is a fast, manueverable, and durable Fighter capable of in-atmosphere speeds of Mach 2.5. It comes Equipped with standard Repeating Laser Cannons, and Numerous Homing Missiles to track down its targets. They are also equipped with a passive stealth technowledgy, dispersing their heat-signatures to prevent heat-seeking missiles from locking on, and appear smaller on radar. They are piloted by one person with a state of the art H.U.D system that feeds them information in real time. They come in Squadrons of Six.

Image The Y-Wing Bomber is a tried and true bomber from the Clone Wars. Fast, Maneuverable, and tough, the Y-Wing bomber can take a hit, continue to deliver it's payload of Proton Torpedos, and then return, provided that it doesn't take another very serious hit. It is Piloted by one pilot, and one gunner, who sits in the bubble turret behind the pilot. It is also equipped with an Astromech Droid for quick calculations and on-the-fly repairs when returning to the capital ship is not possible or in dire situations. They come In Squadrons of Ten.

Image The U-Wing is a reliable Transport, carrying two squads of Soldiers into Battle whilst also providing Covering Fire from each Door Gunner. They can Also be Modified to deliver Light Vehicles such as Speeder Bikes and Mobile Artillery or Anti-Air.

"That it?"

"Yep. That's it. Jarrako Station, abandoned as of about half a year ago...in dire need of a new owner. Luckily, that's what I'm here for. Down side? It ain't pretty, that's what I have you and your Clones for."

"Very well." Kinara turned to the Clone Commander next to them, his armor was unique, he had two Shoulder Pauldrons, as well as a range finder on his helmet. "Kaal, keep the fleet close by, no-telling if we'll need a quick extract. Scan for anomalies."

"As you command." he said, bowing slightly.

"Alright then, River, show me what's important."

With that, the two females moved to the Main Hangar of the Obsidian Eagle, and within a U-Wing Transport, moved to the Station, landing in one of its main hangars. The Grey Jedi and the Cybernetics-Enchanced Space Cow-Girl landed heavy into the hangar. "First things first," River said, pulling out a thermal detector. "We need to stop the Core from over-heating. It's been running on low power since it was abandoned, but has had no one to vent out the heat into the space around us. We've got...two hours I'd say to find it." she said. "Also, scan the Station for signs of an AI, there's supposed to be one here." Upon relaying those orders to Kaal and the fleet, Kinara nodded and followed River through the winding passages of the station, the air growing hotter and hotter as they continued.

"Sir!" Kaal's voice came on the comms. "We've located an AI, intent and directive unknown. Orders?"

Kinara was silent for a moment before narrowing her eyes. "Attempt to make contact safely. It if is presumed hostile in anyway, upload the purge our benefactor has so graciously given us." she said, looking to River, who nodded.

"Yes Sir." Kaal responded, cutting off comms before River and Kinara rounded the corner to see the reactor before them. It filled the room, the control consoles around the room glowed dimly with what little power the thing was still producing, though the buttons were worn and dusted from lack of use. Kinara closed her eyes and lifted an arm, focusing her power with the Force to lift the dust from the buttons, and dispose of it in a corner of the room to be taken care of later. The Comms opened again and Kaal spoke again, this time into the ear-piece Kinara wore directly. "Also, we found the anomaly talked about; it's in one of the Cargo Holds."

Kinara nodded and responded quietly as well, so much so that River didn't hear. "When we send in the clones to clear this place, send in a retrieval team....there's Dark Force Energy here. I'll join them once I'm done with the Reactor."

"We need to find the vent overrides, if this thing doesn't cool down in...ten minutes? We're dead." River said as she put away the devise and started flicking any button she thought looked like an override button, after a few minutes Kinara placed a palm to her forehead and sighed, reaching to press the large "OVERRIDE" button, covered by a broken glass lid. Once pressed, the power returned to the Station proper, and the vents leading to the heat vents of the reactor opened, filling the heat with a cold, lifeless vacuum as the Reactor rumbled back to life. The heat, however, only rose, the vents having only opened just a crack; not enough to vent all the heat. "Do something!" River cried out. Kinara focused and spread her arms out, envisioning the vents, finding a blockage, and with the power of the Force, forcing them open while pushing anything inside out, effectively bringing the Reactor to optimum operating temperature.

"Kaal, the reactor's online and power is restored. Send in a Clean-up Platoon to every hangar. Orders are thus: If it doesn't look like it should be on a Space Station, destroy it. Inside and out." Kinara ordered, a resounding reply followed, and the fleet around the Station roared to life as Transports moved to each and every hangar, of the twenty, five were operational, and five permitted the U-Wings to land and deposit their troops.

The Clones did their job, destroying or killing anything that didn't belong on the ship with ease, not losing a single trooper in the process. The only difficulty they ever encountered was in destroying the substance known as Turritoid. To destroy it, they needed the concentrated fire-power of three Flame Troopers with their Flame-Cannons set to full power to destroy the substance. However once it was destroyed, they moved to the next cluster.

"Your Trooper mentioned an AI?" River turned to Kinara as she set to work putting the Reactor practically on auto-pilot, so that it would only need maintenance regularly and not need to be manned by personnel at all times. At Kinara's affirmative Reply, River thought for a moment. "Wipe it. Upload my purge directive." Kinara gave the order, and Kaal did as instructed, uploading the Purge to the systems of The Jarrako Downs, terminating the processes of the AI one by one until none remained, and then staying in the system so that any AI not put in place by River herself would not be able to upload itself into the ship's systems without being wiped out as well.

"Come and live on the newly dubbed and cleaned up Jarrako Station, where there is only one rule: Don't fuck with the boss." River said, mostly to herself as the Clones dropped off a few large crates in the hangar before boarding their own U-Wings, and leaving. The entirety of the Station took a little over a month to fully clean up of anything unwanted, but once it was done, the payment was given to Kinara, the Jedi parted ways, and River started herself a clean slate.

Kinara meanwhile left River to join her Clones in the Cargo Hold; and what they found was...unnerving in a way. A Sith Shrine, clouded in Dark Side Energy and ill-intentions. "The Observers at the Force Temple will want this....they'll want it intact....dismantle it and label each part; we're going to give this to the Force Temple...they'll want it rebuilt. I'll go get our money, and we'll get out of here." She ordered before leaving to return to River.

The boxes contained an immeasurable number of nanobots that she would use to continue to tidy the place up, build all manner of buildings and maintain the newly dubbed Station at all times. It built a large, simple city, with buildings for business, homes, warehouses, the works. Everything that was needed was found, even farms for food and water. Jarrako was self-sufficient, but it needed people to become fully so.

It wasn't long before word spread around the Galaxy of a place with only one simple law, and people flocked to Jarrako under various circumstances for various reasons. Business flourished, no matter what business that was, and the people were happy, for the most part. It was survival of the fittest, with a few unwritten laws added to provide order: No fucking with Farmers or their property, take fights outside, etc. etc.

River was Queen of this world, and she was happy.

The Force was strong on Terra... much could be learned.

A great fleet of ships emerged from hyperspace, the 5KM long flagship at the front. The Obsidian Eagle was fresh from modifications at KDY, her new size presented power, and authority. She bristled with guns and armor, and the hangar doors slowly opened. The large Venator-class Star Destroyers flanked the Eagle, and likewise their hangar doors opened, however their main hangars remained closed. The Sabre Class Star Destroyers were just past them, mixing with them as well. Behind were the Troop Transports, The Acclamators, large bulbous arrow-head shaped ships who had no hangars, but plenty of point defense turrets. Two of those hung out in the rear, large red Crosses painted on them to mark them as medical ships Around those two were four small Tartan Patrol Cruisers, likewise bristling with point defense.

Kinara awoke from her sleep and quickly changed into some fresh Jedi Robes, moving to the bridge shortly after. Her boots clunked on the ground as she walked "I'll need new boots soon." she thought as she entered the command bridge of the Eagle. Clone Commander Kaal waited for her, his armor green and black, matching her lightsabers, and his helmet under his arm. His armor had two elongated shoulder pauldrons similar to those scene on Clone Commanders of old in the Clone Wars, they added additional protection from shrapnel and blaster fire, as well as helped distinguish rank.

"We've Arrived in the Sol System, Ma'am. Currently on course to enter high-orbit of the planet Terra." Kaal snapped to attention when relaying the information. Kinara nodded and patted his shoulder. For a clone of herself, Kaal sure was uptight. Training, she assumed, had a part to play in that. She smiled.

"Thank you, Kaal. Go get some rest." she said as she assumed command over the bridge by standing up towards the window, where her Captain's Chair sat waiting for her. She took a seat and smiled. Terra was a beautiful planet....with so much to offer to those who practiced the Force. Perhaps, who knew, she could find an apprentice here. There were plenty of Force Sensitives on Terra, but they would have to come to her.

For now, though, she'd need permission to build herself a home, and her Clones a Base of Operations.

"Admiral, unknown ships in force arriving in the sector. Scans read the enemy fleet's largest ship is 3KM long sir. Orbital platforms are arming weaponry and the fleet in preparing weapons. Issuing hails sir." A crewman spoke as he, along with possibly one million souls began to power up the gargantuan 8KM battleship arming Void Shields and weapon batteries.

Not only that, but perhaps 75 other ships ranging from 2KM long to 8KM long all were prepared to engage the enemy fleet if neccecary

"Attention unknown fleet, This is Battlefleet Terran of Terra. This is the 'Halberd Of Faith' and we have picked up a massive force belonging to your fleet. State your purpose immediately, any attempts to stall or divert the conversation will be met with lethal force." The Admiral would either appear on any holofeild projector they had or through regular vocal communication.

The great Imperial Naval Fleet was an awe striking sight for many. Gargantuan ships that appeared made for the sole purpose of war. Each ship decorated with the Imperial Eagle and the massive Star ports served as massive defensive batteries. Every single aspect of this fleet just oozed war. Possibly from the many battles each ship suffered.

Of course the weaponry of the ships seemed similar to some forces they recently encountered. "Admiral, some reports say that some of their weapons are similar to a previous fleet that recently engaged other Imperial assets awhile ago. However their make, and design are highly different. I advise caution Admiral" A crewman reported.

Kinara stood and answered the hail, her face appearing in either a hologram or on the screens in the bridge, looking to the Admiral. "Battlefleet Terran, this is Kinara, Jedi Commander of the Grey Battalion, on the Obsidian Eagle. Our purpose is to aide in the protection of Terra and her assets, as well as establish a base of operations from which to operate ourselves in a professional manner." She stated.

"We have no intention of attacking or incurring the wrath of the Imperium, we may outnumber you, but you are far more experienced in the art of War, we wouldn't stand much of a chance." She added. "As stated before, we wish to aide in the defense of Terra, not attack it." She said.

Her voice was calm, and exact. She could sense the willingness to decimate her fleet in his voice and stature, and though she would last long enough to get away, she'd sustain heavy damage. She waited for a response, hoping it would be positive.

For a moment the figure remained silent however the man quickly spoke up looking at her figure through their holo display. "Understood Kinara. For now your intentions are considered friendly for the time being. However we are the shield of this planet, we shall transfer this communication to a figure with the power to grant your request." The man soon swapped frequencies so she did not heave to hear the unnecessary chatter.

"Lord Dorn, my apologies but a force known as the Grey Battalion wish to establish a base on Terra. If you wish to spare some time I have the communication ready to transfer at any time." The Admiral spoke in another transition before a voice replied. "Understood Admiral. I can negotiate with this Grey Battalion. Transfer the communication when ready."

In a minute the figure of the Admiral was replaced by a massive man cladded in yellow power armor. He was perhaps ten feet tall with a symbol of a black fist of his chest. "Greeting Kinara of the Grey Battalion. My name is Rogal Dorn, son of the Emperor and primarch to the Imperial Fists chapter of Space Marines. If I have heard you correctly you wish to establish a base of operations on Terra. We see that you wish to help defend the planet but all is known that not everyone tell the truth. What is the purpose of your base? Is it military? Social? Or perhaps spiritual in nature?" The massive man replied. Remaining well postured without any trace of any uneccecary emotion.

Kinara offered a small bow when greeted by Dorn, politeness would aide her in her quest she thought. "Primarch Dorn, The nature of my base is twofold: Primarily, it is a military base, where my soldiers can train, rest, and live off of their ships when they are not being used for their primary purpose. It can also be used as a refugee camp in crisis situations, under the guard of the Grey Battalion's soldiers. Secondarily, it aides in a sort of Spiritual Nature. I have an sensitivity to something known as The Force, you and your Emperor are strong in this Force...though you may know it by another name. Terra in and of itself is strong in the Force, I wish to use the comfort of a secure base to meditate, and gain enlightenment through it. I was present in the Wing City Main Gate Incident, it was my abilities in the Force that slowed and calmed the torrent of energies coming from that poor woman who exploded." she explained.

"That rift is still there, If allowed, I would like to build a monument around the rift, one that would allow it to breathe, but not allow those who shouldn't be touching it to do so. However, that is a personal matter." She added. She couldn't read him as easily as the Admiral, but he was strong in the Force, it radiated off of him like a reactor.

"That is my purpose, Primarch. Do I have your consent?"

"Under our normal circumstances allowing an unknown force station a base in the city would be inconvivable where we came from. However, due to new events we do not have any reason to turn you down. Just ensure you keep your military presence low, we will allow you to gather arms, vehicles and weaponry. However do not expand too big without consulting with us. Another note, some people on the planet follow the Imperial Cult. We ask that you must never disgrace the Emperor's name. Other than that, if you are going to protect this planet then we of the Imperium welcome you to Terra. You are free to enter into the planets orbit now." Dorn nodded his approval and soon the weapons of the Imperial Navy began to power down to give them some ease of comfort knowing they were not going to have a space battle. Of Course Dorn had a question of his own.

"I do have one question Kinara of the Grey Battaltion. Do you by chance know of other fleets that use your design of weaponry? We once had Imperial assets under heavy attack by three unknown forces. One fleet in particular had similar weapon designs to what we have seen from your fleet. I ask because many Imperial lives were lost and we were hoping to find some answers which may lead us to whoever attacked us." Dorn asked. By no means was he insisting on the issue of course.

Upon being given permission to build their base, which would come to expand to outside the city for the most part, allowing for optimum usage of Wing City's grounds for the civilians, the fleet began to move as one, and the main hangars of each Venator opened. From every hangar in the fleet, every Transport and heavy Transport began their approach towards their projected base site. They were escorted by ten squadrons of Shadow Wing fighters, and went down to the planet's surface to begin while the fleet slowly entered orbit and turned to face away from the planet, to aide in its defense.

Kinara was about to switch off communications when Dorn spoke again, she looked up to his holographic image and tilted her head, thinking for a few seconds. "Before I left, I encountered something similar to which you speak. They call themselves the Sith, or have "Sith" somewhere in their name." She said. Their dreadnoughts are of an ancient design, and though by today's standards they are old, they can prove to be a significant threat." she explained. She paused for a moment, reading Dorn's expression.

"However, if those were not the ships you encountered, I have a friend who is an expert in building ships. I could contact her, and ask to give both of our forces council on how to quickest defeat these ships." she added. "She built my fleet, and is building another mighty addition that will dwarf even my Flagship." she sighed, and pushed a few buttons on her console. "I will send the plans for my own ships and for other ships I have encountered in my travels, so that you may study them and find weak spots to target once you get past their shields. This is all I can do besides assist in defense if and when they attack again." she smiled, and nodded.

"If that will be all, I will take my leave to oversee the construction of my base, which will be primarily outside the City walls, but just barely expand to the inside." she gave a bow, and ended her side of the transmission.

Roughly 500,000 kilometers from Terra's high orbit, just beyond the Imperium's defensive perimeter and slightly off the formation of Grey Order vessels, several distortions could be detected as roughly a dozen ships winked into existence.

One of them was the Reverence II "Solemn Penance" which bore obvious markings of the United Aschen Empire. Completing its jump the ship found itself among several of its escorts. Specifically two Iconoclast class Battleships, two Punisher class Battleships, eight Hastati class cruisers and roughly a dozen Vigiles class escort destroyers, additionally the fleet was protected by a formation of Imperial Aegis cruisers, which would supplement the defenses of the reverence II.

Temporarily attached to the Solemn Penance, Admiral Éclaire Hanley would be in charge of the entirety of the planned operation.

With the anticipation the Imperium ships would shoot first, immediately upon exiting FTL, a massive canopy shield enveloped the small group, along with a Planck field to prevent boarders from teleporting aboard, a hard lesson learned from the Aurora incident.

With the shimmering aegis field up, capable of withstanding a sustained barrage from even the mightiest of weapons, the Aschen fleet settled into position, and waited to be hailed.

"Admiral! Energy signatures detected. They are the same as the forces that attacked Imperial assets." A crewman spoke as the Imperial Navy was arming weapons again. "I want a communication transmition to the enemy fleet!" The Admiral spoke as the crewman instantly nodded.

"Attention! You are now entering Imperial space hostiles. Turn around immediately or face destruction in the Emperor's name." The admiral hailed the enemy ship. In ten seconds the whole Imperial Navy armed with Lance Batteries, Heavy Macro bombardment cannons and long ranged torpedo's were now trained on the Aschen ships.

"You have much nerve to show your face to us after you dare strike at us. Give us one reason why we should not condemn you all to die and be done with it instead of letting you go free." The Fleet Admiral spoke as the ships Nova Cannon was aimed right at the center of their fleet.

"Defensive formation Foxtrot! Medical Ships and Tartans to the surface, oversee Base Construction." Kinara barked as the Grey Battalion ships formed with those of the Imperium. The Venators all formed the rear of the formation, the Two medical ships and four Tartan Patrol Cruisers continuing forward to the planet's surface. The Obsidian Eagle, the 5KM flagship of her fleet, was in the center of the formation, with the Venator Class Star Destroyers around her in a Heptagonal protective sphere. The Main hangars atop the ships slid open, and pilots readied the fighters and bombers. The Sabre Class Star Destroyers, newly made and upgraded to be more than double their original size, formed the bulk of the fleet, forming an anti-capital ship screen with what appeared to be only eight Super Heavy Turbo Laser Batteries at the ready, however, something was off about them.

The Point Defense of the fleet was weakest at the very front, however, every meter further into the formation would prove more and more difficult to navigate, and the level of Point Defense upped itself massively with the Venators and Obsidian Eagle, as well as the Acclamators. At Kinara's word, the entire fleet would begin firing, but for now, everything was silent.

Pressing a button on her chair, a claw came from the ceiling and picked it up, giving her mobility over the bridge. She moved to a large hologram projector, which projected hers, the Imperium's, and the Aschen fleets all clearly. "Fucking hell...." she grumbled. She opened comms to her fleet. "Grey Battalion this is Kinara." she started.

"Before us is the Aschen fleet. They're big. They're strong. They're smart. But you were bred for war, and if that's what they want, we'll give them one." Kinara spoke. "All ships await my command, let's hope this doesn't turn into a shit storm." she called back the fighters she'd sent to the planets surface, and they turned around, set to return in a few minutes.

The tension could be cut with a butter-knife, let alone a Lightsaber.

The CIC of the Solemn Penance was quiet as Admiral Hanley listened intently to the transmission, slowly cantering her head in slight confusion at two alien fleets that the empire had little contact with.

With a swift gesture, she keyed up the tactical display, a large holographic projection showing the three fleets shimmering before her, showing movements and tactical formations in real time, along with highlighted tactical suggestions and energy readouts.

Sweeping her hand she zoomed in, manipulating the hologram, and then panning back out.

"Hostile?" She asked herself, before querying the datalink with both ship designs, searching the logs of every ship in the aschen fleet for engagement reports, of which there was only one remotely close match.

"Hmm..." Hanley said. "There are contact reports here from the Navo Vasta Solitudine... entered by Admiral Clegg; but there's no engagement reports here, weapons were readied but not fired, the fleet observed and engagement between these ships and and two unidentified alien fleets, later identified as the Sith Empire and the 6th Order..." Hanley mumbled.

Keying up the communication, Hanley spoke, her voice firm yet her words clear as they rang across a wide band communications frequency.

"Vessels of the Imperium of Man, this is Admiral Claire Hanley, of the United Aschen Empires Imperial Defense Force. Be advised our intentions are peaceful, and we have no records of ever attacking vessels of your kind, I've reviewed all contact logs with your people and have found no indication of past engagements." Hanley hailed, looking at the logs.

"Be advised that opening fire will be considered an act of war, and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of our military capabilities. However I will reiterate that our intentions here are peaceful, and we will not attack unless provoked." Hanley said calmly.

"I have been sent by my government to discuss a matter of importance to all of us."

Bringing up a data file, she transmitted a video recording of the aschen engagement with the forces of Chaos to the Imperium Fleet, and then continued her message.

"A few days ago one of our patrol fleets were attacked by vessels similar to yours, yet they utilized some form of magic that was beyond our understanding and our fleet was lost, we were hoping you could shed some light on this matter."

Silently she awaited a reply.

"Chaos..." The Admiral muttered watched the footage, their greatest enemy and a great threat to the universe itself. However, this still did not excuse one thing. "You may not have noticed us because we were stuck fighting two fleets...however this may change your thoughts. We recovered data-slates from one of our ships that were destroyed." The admiral sent a feed of the massive space battle from one of the Imperial battleships as it engaged three different fleets with all of its holy firepower. The call to retreat was ordered, however a few remained behind to stall the enemy. And this data-slate was one such ship.

"We have faced this enemy for millennium. Despite your assault on our fleet, it is more wise to share with you all we know about that toe you encountered known as Chaos. Under the Empeor, he has decreed that we keep violence down, and to start negotiating with...aliens..." The Admiral almost spat the last words. But to do so would be heretical under many circumstances since to order came right from the Emperor.

"Chaos only has one goal. Drown the universe in endless war and blood until all life in the universe is estinguished. Wether it be man, woman, child or alien. No one is safe from the assault of Chaos. Chaos serves the Four Gods of Chaos, malevolent being swept that grant their blessings and minions to them. The first thing you should keep wary about is that once you see and engage the forces of Chaos, your very soul is forever tainted which slowly eats away at you. The more you face Chaos, the further the corruption spreads until you start to hear whispers, demonic voices persuading you. No matter how pure you are, or how faithful you are...Chaos will eventually claim you either in life or in death. Thanks to our venerable Emperor he keeps our souls safe from being dragged into the jaws of the Warp."

"The Chaos forces are comprised of fallen Adeptus Astartes, or Space Marines from the days of old. They are genetically enhanced super humans that are worth a hundred men in almost all cases. Other forces have also joined with Chaos being our brave soldiers from the Imperial Guard to millions of other people. Civilian or soldier it matters not. They also use demonic entities from the Warp, from a sacrifice to keeping a portal open to the realm of the warp, these demons under whatever foul God they serve can change the very battle. And with greater demons...their very presence could cause many people to retreat in terror. In any case, enough ordinance will force them back to the Warp but any attempt to truly kill them is only in the hands of our Emperor."

"As we said before, the Warp is like the 'spiritual' world opposite of our own. Warp travel is vastly different from normal means of FTL travel. To start, Warp travel can bypass almost all means of defense and go past physical obstacles making it a 'safe' means of travel. However, Warp based travel is highly dangerious for anyone without a Gellar Feild or an experienced psychic user to navigate the Warp. Warp based technology harnesses the power of the warp wether it come from a person or a warehead that even the mightiest ship would have no match for. The only defense against the Warp is a Gellar Feild. Without it, any planet with shielding will prove useless against stopping the Legions of Chaos for they can bypass it using the warp to enter."

"As for Chaos itself, they can also corrupt anything they with. From flesh or steel to even a planet, their very presence must be stomped out as soon as possible for there is one important thing to note. If you do not stop Chaos forces on a planet in time, it will change into a Demon Planet, in which case any means to actually destroy it will not work as it is now part of the Warp itself. Keep that in mind that no matter how small Chaos appears to be, it should be treated with high priority for lest you know it the entire planet and its defenders will fall."

"For the Chaos Gods themselves. Their followers are divided into five categories. Followers of Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, Slaanesh, or Chaos Undivided. Servants of Khorne are war made flesh, blessed by the foul war God of Chaos, their followers boast even more strength and speed than any regular Space Marine and are resistant to magic. Followers of Tzeentch are usually sorcerers, or clever individuals who can craft many plans or even peer into the future. They use psychic magic, or can find means to better improve themselves through knowledge. Followers of Nurgle are walking, plagued filled beings that love life or death. They boast an inhuman amount of resistance against weaponry and can walk through an entire squad's worth of firepower for a period of time. The worst part is that once any infected blood gets on your skin or armor it will be a slow and painful death which will even rot the soul. And finally...followers of Slaanesh...Having fun is what they live for from parties filled with drugs and pleasures of the flesh. They don't seem bad until you realize they love to torture anyone until they are mind slaves to Chaos. They are rather...not useful on battle but when it comes to corruption, they are rather good at it. For Chaos Undivided, they worship all Gods equally."

After the Admral finished speaking, he cleared his throat. "I can explain about technology, however we do not have a few years to sit around. You may face the same foe, however after your assault we will not let you access Imperial Records for personal offtime research. Until amends are made, we will only speak with you at this distance. You now have what you need to know about our our greatest foe. In due time if our Emperor wishes you may scheduale a meeting with our venerable Emperor to talk about peace terms." The man soon finished speaking.

Kinara stayed silent when it came to the negotiations. She knew nothing of which they spoke; it would be out of place for her to speak. She listened however, to the description put forth by the Imperium, copying it down to a holo-journal on her wrist-mounted comms pad. She leaned back in her seat and narrowed her eyes, the fighters she requested returning to the fleet and docking in the hangar bays of their respective ships for refueling and rearming.

Chaos....an unending War....it sounded like Sith and their underlings. The numerous wars against the Republic for whatever reasons there were. She sighed, her microphone muted. The Aschen didn't want a fight. Good, neither did she. She rubbed her eyes and put her feet up, reaching out with the Force to feel the intentions of the Aschen, to try and discern if whether or not they were telling the truth. It was the least she could do in this situation.

A huge amount of Transports descended through the atmosphere, some carrying men, some supplies, some both. Hundreds upon hundreds descended to the surface, settling down outside the main gates of the City. The men unloaded the transports, large piles of organized boxes being set up for the build to come. A faint rumble permeated the air, and two large Acclamator Assault Ships descended, equally large red medical Crosses painted on the bottoms of the arrow-head shaped ships as they moved towards the surface. They lowered landing gear, and slowly touched down on the ground outside of the City, away from the main road so that it wasn't an eyesore for those living in and around the walls of the city. Droves upon droves of builders building materials and vehicles exited as the loading ramps lowered from beneath them. Four-legged walkers with massive guns atop them moved towards the road, forming up in a defensive stance, along with plenty of guard troops as the first thing they built was the entrance gate, which was a heavily guarded checkpoint.

Next were the barracks, the large half-cylindrical buildings being immediately left of the entrance of the base. Past them was the motor-pool, where all vehicles would be stored for work or until future use. Next was the Airpad, directly across from the motorpool, it was a large, flat area of hardened concrete where shuttles, fighters, bombers, and everything short of a tartan Patrol Cruiser could land for maintenance. A control tower was likewise built to grant or deny clearance for take-off or landing. Above the Base, the four Tartan Patrol Cruisers hovered, providing spot lights for work during the night while the Barracks and landed Acclamators were used as housing and storage over the many months of construction. Across from the Barracks, an exercise and training area for the troops of the Grey Battalion stationed there. It consisted of training dummies, a firing range, and an exercise track with obstacles designed to push each trooper to the limits of their speed, agility, and endurance daily, to keep them in peak physical condition.

Soon, the Command Center was built in the back of the base, a single large tower spanning five stories into the air, with a substantial base for the rest of the building, spanning the width of the base. It was lined with guard towers and had a great statue of their commander, Kaal, standing next to their general: Kinara in front of it. The final outlying thing to be built was the perimeter wall, ten feet high and backed by a ray-shielded fence on both sides, it was five feet thick and had many towers for guards, as well as space for patrols to walk between each tower at regular intervals when needed. Each tower would be manned by two machine-gun nests featuring heavy repeating blasters, and the walls had small deployable cover spots where troopers could hide and fight from in case of attack. Spot lights were not used, as guards had all sort of vision in their helmets, allowing for maximum visibility no matter the conditions.

Underneath the base was a grand system of tunnels, accessable via multiple service elevators and a few stairways. The Tunnels served as extra housing, a medical center, and the power supply, with the reactor being built beneath the base to avoid targeting. Vents popped up in curious places around the top-side of the base to allow the reactor to cool, and to allow the tunnels to have fresh air, filtered and safe.

At the Explosion site, inside the city.

At the site where the woman known as Tiff previously exploded, the rift of time, space, Magic, Psychic Energy, and the Force itself still existed, though to a lesser extent thanks to Kinara's efforts. A simple monument was built, the shape of the Emperor standing in his battle armor, sword in one hand and other hand raised, holding a spherical cutout of Terra, hallow with only the continents to keep it together in its spherical form. The choice of the build was made by Kinara personally, for two reasons. The First reason was to heighten the faith of the people, and another as a gesture of friendship to the Imperium from the Grey Battalion. There was a third, unknown reason known only to Kinara and to a select few: The rift caused by the aforementioned explosion was contained within the hallow sphere, Around the Statue, a beautiful fountain was built, the heads of lions pouring water into the pool below from their roaring mouths, made from brilliant brass. The Tiles were of the colors of the Imperium, shimmering beneath the beautifully clear water. Fine Granite topped the edge of the fountain, with benches around the Fountain for civilians to sit and enjoy the scenery around it, which was also updated with mighty Oak Trees, lush grass, and numerous different types of Flowers, likewise in the colors of the Imperium. It was tiered in steps up to the fountain, with small paths leading up surrounded by the plants. On the lowest step stood the Oak Trees, above was the first row of flowers, then the second on the next step, then the third on the next, with grass all throughout. At each entrance to this small monument was a plaque that read thusly:

"In honor of all those lost or harmed during the cataclysmic events that transpired, and to honor the brave soldiers defending each and every one of us: This monument stands as a reminder, that you are protected."

Once again Hanley opted to check the records, the AI once again returned no record of any engagements with Imperium forces, this caused her to slightly purse her lips, and disconnect the search interface.

With another swift motion, she keyed the communication back to Admiral Dorn.

"We have no records of any aggression displayed towards your people, and our military keeps meticulous records, likewise we continue to harbor no aggression towards your people, and seek to work together to eliminate this Chaos threat you have described; as they are a threat to us both." Hanley explained.

"If we work together, we can swiftly put an end to this threat; or we can consider the alternative of a long drawn out campaign against these demons you speak of."

Heaving a sigh, Hanley paused and looked around the CIC, before keying up the communication.

"Even if we have no record of any hostility, if it's compensation you seek, name your price and I will bring your demands back to my Government for consideration."

"Lord Dorn, the fleet is willing to compisate. Shall we respond sir?" The fleet admiral spoke to the space marine Primarch.

"Aschen fleet, this is Rogal Dorn. One of the sons to the Emperor. All we ask then is for raw materials. Mostly steel if available. We have no need of monetary benefit. As for the demonic threat, we will be forced into a long drawn out war. For trying to crush the heart of Chaos is all but impossible...But we of the Imperium wish to establish a hopefully non hostile alliance. We have many enemies of man that's needs to be slain...we don't need to spill uneccecary blood when we can." The Primarch spoke.

Admiral Hanley considered the request for several moments, they could spare the resources, light-mass-fabrication allowed for the easy fabrication of raw materials, which meant they could provide the Imperium limitless resources. The same limitless resources that allowed the Aschen Empire to wage it's wars of aggression.

She decided that they could spare something.

Keying up the communications, she spoke her reply to Admiral Dorn.

"I will arrange for thirty thousand cubic tons of Steel to be transported to this world, In exchange, I request the schematics so that we may construct these Gellar fields you speak of, if we're to defend ourselves against this threat."

After a long pause, Hanley spoke again.

"Do we have a deal?"

Rogal Dorn thinks for a minute, this trade would be a bit beneficial...however, he was not willing to trust this Aschen Empire at this moment. Not until their Emperor deems them a suitable ally. "I will have to decline that deal. The schematics for the Gellar Field are highly prized in the Imperium. Keep in mind we are still highly untrustworthy of your people. No records on such an attack on Imperial ships, continuing to deny involvement despite the evidence we have show you. Even if the Imperium require the resources we will not strike a deal until the Emperor himself decides to give your people a chance. You shall make due with what you have, even against our mortal enemy. We do not need to arm any Empire with Imperial technology. Unless the Emperor himself decrees such a thing." The Primarch declined the deal.

"You are on your own for now Aschen Empire. We must prepare against the coming storm. We do not need to worry about your Empire as well." Soon communication was cut. Even if Chaos was on the horizon, Dorn knew he could not just trust this people as easily he had hoped.

The Admiral simply frowned as they declined the deal. It was no matter, the Aschen had technologies they could compensate with.

"Then we will withhold our shipments until such time you've deemed us worthy to trade with." Hanley said, making a long somewhat disappointed face. "We're a pragmatic civilization and are willing to work even with our enemies, but only under the circumstances that benefit us. When your Emperor has deemed us worthy of working together, we will revisit these negotiations."

After a few more moments, Hanley keyed up one last transmission. "I am transmitting coordinates to the Aschen world of Tal'dor, if your Emperor wishes to pursue talks with us, this is the only world that has been set up to receive foreign visitors."

Once the coordinates were transmitted, Hanley turned back to her XO.

"Set course back to the Empire, even if it's limited this intelligence will be of value to us." She said, the word passed to her XO, the Reverence II and it's accompanying fleet promptly winked out of high orbit, disappearing without a trace.

It was as the Imperium's Guardsmen began to pull back that Irral finally moved, aiming to snatch the man he said was corrupted by the collar and lifting him. If successful, The Dragon's Armor began to glow brightly, and so did the man, who would begin to feel a calming warming sensation. If he were to look down, he would noticed a pool of Draconian Shadow Magic leeching off of his body, and then stop. After it did, Irral released the man, letting him fall six feet to the ground.

Then the Dragon looked up, a low rumble escaped his throat, rumbling the ground and trees around him as he growled. He would let the fleets battle it out on their own. Sheathing his Dracoanian Lance, Irral slammed his hands together, and with a flash of light that would blind any who looked at it directly, vanished from the city.

In Orbit above Terra

The Ships of the Grey Battalion shook with the sonic wave, but otherwise remained intact. As the Ships of the Imperium engaged, so did those of the Grey Battalion. All ships battle-stations! Fire on those unidentified cruisers! The Voice of the Clone Commander Kaal rang out on the comms of the Starfleet.

The Hangars of all the ships opened, and from each poured forth their strike craft fifty squads of Shadow-Wing superiority fighters, and well over a hundred squads of Y-Wing Bombers. From the hulls of the Modified Sabre Class Star Destroyers emerged Numerous Super Heavy Turbo-Laser Batteries, forty eight batteries in total per ship, which all began to open fire on the cruisers that had tried to attack Terra. From the Venators came their own fire, along with a majority of the strike-craft that were launched. The Acclamators and the Tartan Patrol Cruisers remained towards the back of the fleet, their guns silent for the moment. The Obsidian Eagle, currently the largest ship in the fleet, lumbered forward, her numerous Turbo Lasers and regular Lasers opening fire, as well as her Torpedo Tubes letting loose multiple Neutron Torpedos, which would both slip past most shields and then explode violently on the hull of anything they hit.

"Focus your fire! Fighters take out those drop pods before they reach the surface! I want that fleet decimated yesterday, people!" Kaal's voice rang out again. Kinara stood towards the back of the bridge, analyzing the situation on her holo-table as the battle played out in real time before her.

"Admiral, would it be possible to send some of my Marine Troops through your Teleportation device onto the enemy ships? My transports are not yet equipped for boarding actions." Kinara opened a secure Holo-Channel to the Fleet Admiral of the Imperium. "My ships have already engaged and my fighters are going after their drop pods. I have Marines standing by to board their transports. They are eager to see some battle."

From the outside, a flurry of Green Turbo Lasers as well as kinetic rounds and glowing blue Torpedos swarmed towards the enemy fleet, as well as small specs representing the Y-Wing Bombers on their attack runs to slip under the enemy shields and attack their hulls directly.

The officer didn't recognize him and gave him a weapon and what he concluded where battery clips of some sort, an alien weapon, but a weapon nonetheless. He was in his element, at last, once again: the warzone, the field of battle. He looked around at the ensuing chaos, but could not see Ebba. He had to worry about himself, Ebba had to wait, assuming she got out of this mess alive. He focuses, the instinct beginning to rush through his head. He checked to make sure his weapon was loaded and ready, before dashing to the battlefront.

He dashes and takes cover alongside an entrenched squad of guardsmen, sliding as he does so. He peeks from his hiding spot briefly, long enough to identify the enemies. With a swift, violent, and controlled movement, he assumed stance to shoot. He catches one of the knight-like troopers in his sights and fires, the beam of red light piercing through to poor soul's neck! He then swivels around, seeing another trooper aiming at him! In quick reflex, he lets loose another shot. He shoots the enemy soldier in the shoulder where he pointed his weapon, the beam fired scorching just inches from Teddy's head, if he hadn't taken his shot first, he would have been killed right there. He fires a shot, another hitting that same trooper's neck.

His aim is still sharp and improbable as he remembered it to be, it also helped that the las-gun was not affected by ballistics like his slug-throwing pistol was. He maintains calm and composure as he fires upon more troopers coming to the front line, placing his shots well enough to kill and incapacitate. His marksmanship, it seemed as though it had been honed to superhuman levels, exploiting spots he could see where the las-gun would do the most damage.

He prayed under his breath for Ebba's safety, though.

"Captain Kinara, our Telliportarium's are avaliable for your use as well. Let us fight together to defend Terra againt this threat." The Fleet Admiral replied as he watched the broken enemy fleet shoot two ships that tried to surrender. Of course the wrekced ships would drift to the Imperial ships but all it did was scratch their paintwork and cause a few point defense weaponry to be wrecked.

Nevertheless the fleet continued to pick off the enemy fleet one by one as they continued to retreat.

On the ground as the enemy forces were dwindling from the efforts of soldiers stationed on the ground, soon what was pressumed to be the enemy commander or at least their champion had arrived. The enemy was clearly outnumbered and severly outgunned. Their champion did very little to dissuade soldiers. In fact if they killed him the enemy would probaly shatter at this point.

They had tanks, aircraft, and artillery ships to easily render their champion into little morenthan paste. However, one Space Marine adorned in pure black power armor, a Templar seal on his paulderon. And he was armed with a power sword and storm shield. The Marshal of the Black Templars, Marshal Renalanus.

"Leave their accursed champion to me!" He aimed his sword at the figure before the Space Marine charged his location over the gunfire that flew everywhere.

For poor Ebba, she carefully made her way past the streets as the war errupted all around her. She was nervious but determined to get to saftey. "I just have to...stay low and find saftey..." She whspered to herself as gunfire wizzed past her as she kept to cover,
