It was time to make her move. With a sudden force shriek the Sith Assassin sprang from her perch towards her target. Her lightsaber sprang to life, the unstable blade sparking along its edge and in its core as the lightsaberpike swung it made something akin to a shrieking noise.

Deiyi brought up her borrowed blade to block as the lightsaberpike connected, for a split second the two fighters were weaponlocked until Deiyi kicked hard and she herself sprang backwards. Holding both her own staffsaber and the borrowed blade she eyed the new comer carefully. A saberpike. Deiyi thought. Master Siya used one all the time. Only, with two blades. When Zoraka threw his shockwave it did little to deter the two combatants.

Deiyi had learned how to fight against a saberpike because her master used one in addition to a single edge, he had made one with two edges on it. For a full minute the Jedi carefully eyed the Sith Assassin before hearing Byron call out. With a glance towards Isra Deiyi turned and fled. Moving quickly she pretty much walked up a wall and launched herself at the open bay of the ship. Rolling as she made contact with the floor of the loading bay of the craft with a loud crashing.

Her current target gone, the Sith Assassin turned her attention towards Isra, and the Dark Womans apparentice. Her true targets. Smiling behind her mask she started running for the pair, Lightsaberpike igniting once more as the Sith Assassin ran full tilt for the two Sith she was after.

At least, that is what she wanted to do. Screeching to a halt as a green blade sprang to life directly before her the Sith Assassin brought her blade up before her to defend as another Jedi stepped into view. The Sith Assassin knew who it was. "Siya" She growled.

"Surprised to see me Kakita ?" Tuyer Siya asked calmly. With him were two Force Hounds, each armed with their own Forcesabers ready for use. "I see you turned from your assigned target. Why ? Go get your assigned target like I requested, I will handle this." As he spoke the two Force hounds sprang for Zoraka and Thanos.

With a feral growl The Sith Assassin said "That woman is no more. It means nothing!" With that she struck, Tuyer defelected and for several minutes traded strikes with the Sith Assassin before she threw something, a smoke grenade, and then she took off. Fleeing as fast as she could, She had a mission. One that took her back to her inital mission giver.

With Kakita gone Tuyer took stock of what was going on and went towards where some of the trouble was coming. With a flick of his wrist the lightsaberpike split into two identical long hilts. he moved towards where the Mandos were. Calling out mentally towards them a question. "What seems to be the matter gentlemen ?" Siya was a good diplomat. But not exactly the best. But good enough for an Arkanian offshoot.

Thai watched as things went from bad to worse. She was knocked back by Zoraks force blast but jumped back up to her feet this was no time for her to faulter now. She was about to spring on Thanos to defend her Master when More beings appeared and began to attack she wasn't sure what exactly was happening but this seemed good a time as any to flee.

"Master Lets go!" She said pointing to Byron and the ship.

------------------
Isra sprung up and began to sprint toward Thai when she noticed Deiyi and the others fighting Zoraka. She wasn't a fan of Jedi but obviously Mor had some interest in this woman and that was good enough reason for Isra to act. "Thai With me." She said extending her hand she sent a burst of lighting towards Zorak and the others and Thai followed suit the two sith began to continue this and move back toward the ship.

"Jedi! Lets get out of this place!" Isra shouted toward Deiyi and looking back towards Byron and his ship.

Keeping under cover, he wasn't pleased that his attempt to down the two hadn't succeeded to full expectations, but striking the one was acceptable. After all, in the time it had taken to prep the jetpack, he'd made one further modification. Placing a tracker.

Leaning back, the Mando checked his HUD for the signal, smiling again as the signal blinked strong, moving. "Gotcha, chakaar'ika."

Now, for the sake of maintaining appearances, the man pulled a grenade from its case, priming it then sidearming it towards the ship. However, this was no pulse grenade. It was a V-6 Haywire, an extremely high output EMP grenade, designed to fry droids and systems...but also charged enough to electrocute organic targets. Peering around the edge as he slipped the EE-3 loose, taking sniper shots at the force users while the grenade bounced once, rolling towards the ship where he hoped it would detonate like the rest, further lighting a fire under the targets.

And any force user unwary enough to think it a pulse grenade like any other.

With all of the chaos that was happening Byron quickly deactivated his sabers and brought them to their proper places and with a single jump Byron made it safely aboard only to smirk under his helm as Deiyi was about to find herself with a few boxes falling on top of her.

"This is no time to screw around.." Byron found himself caught off guard for a moment as something felt off as the force began to warn him of impending danger. Quickly the Sith Archivist turned around with one hand outstretched towards the oncoming grenade and pushed at it using the force in order to put some distance between it and his ship. The Sith felt triumphant as he used his natural abilities but suddenly was flung back by one of the shots from the enemy. Byron clutched at his new wound and gritted his teeth as his armor was able to take most of the impact but still did not prove to be worth the credits he payed for it.

Zoraka could only watch as Byron's ship sailed away. Anger welling inside him, he made a move to attempt to catch the vessel. However, he was met by new appearances; a Sith assassin and another traitor Jedi, the latter of whom sicked a pair of Force hounds on the Dark Jedi and Thanos. Zoraka engaged in a duel with one, breaking off a large portion of the nearest wall in order to smash them with it.

Thanos on the other hand was having to improvise. From his belt he unleashed a telescopic stun baton made of phrik alloy. It was resistant to the sabers wielded by most Force-users, and distributed a hefty electric shock. With this, he was able to stand toe-to-toe with the hound as they exchanged blows. Thanos wielded the armament with grace and brutality, aiming to debilitate the hound.

Meanwhile, the Mandalorians were approached by the newcomer Jedi, armed with sabers. Or'gaan lightly jabbed Jolo in the side, getting his partner's attention, all the while aiming his blaster at the new addition to the fray.

Thai and Isra took this as a sign to leave and both jumped backwards onto the ship. Once inside they found one of the seats and sat. Immediately after this Isra passed out from exhaustion. The battle was long but they had returned but unfortunately for Isra the gunman still had her artifacts. For the moment it appeared the woman was going to be in a whole mess of trouble once she awoke.

The male Force Hound, Gozen, focused on Zoraka, the forcesaber spinning in a blue of energy as the Force Hound dodged to the side of the rubble flung at him. With the rubble out of the way the Forcehound struck the ground and then threw a powerful Force Push at Zoraka with a howl of energy.

The other Force Hound, a female, Myth, was focused on Thanos. The Forcesaber sparked brightly against the ally of the stunpike the gunman used. Moving with speed, brutality and skill the Force Hound distracted the gunman, as it was her task. As her brother, Gozen, was taking on the former Jedi. Her task was to distract Thanos, and steal some certain items off the man. Finally, her task complete, she struck hard at the ground and then threw a strong Force Push at Thanos.

While all this was going on, the last Jedi on the scene. Armed with a very long hilted lightsaber with two blades, remained rather calm on the street, looking directly in the direction where the Mando's were. He did not engage, nor did he try to stop the other four from battle.

Onboard Byrons ship Deiyi clawed her way out of the pile of crates she had landed in. A rather undignified landing, she told herself. She turned as it happened. Time seemed to slow for her as the bolt came into view nailing Byron directly in the side. She dove forwards as Byron fell to the deck, catching him before he hit the floor. She dragged him the rest of the way aboard. Then hit the door controls as soon as Isra and Thai were aboard. The door sealed, she signaled for the ship to lift off and get out while she herself took Byron by the arms and mostly dragged him to the medical bay.

Hopefully there was a Bacta Tank onboard. If not, then she was going to seriously need some food.

A man sat in the corner observing everything within the tavern. It wasn't the exact best location to get information, but it did the job. A woman sat at table with him, scarfing down food. Force Hounds weren't exactly good at manners, sometimes the Council wondered why Siya even tried training them. They were so atuned to the dark side it didn't make too much sense. And yet, the Battlemaster kept them in line rather well.

Unfortunately the actions of one man drew his attention to the door as he felt the Force be used to open something. In this case the door was loudly opened by the Force or something akin to it. Almost everyone on this ass backward planet had some telekentic ability. He saw the feline like one head for the bar. Well, seemed it was time to make aquaintences, something about the feline woman pulled at his Jedi senses.

"Keep Gozen in check Vir, I will not be long" Tuyer said softly to the dark haired woman at his table, the woman grunted something but nodded as Tuyer stood from his table and went to the bar with his mug to have it refilled. The bartender saw him arriving with his mug and nodded, he'd get the desired drink for the man.

Tuyer sat in the stool next to Aeka. "Strange days for a cat to travel with a man is it not ?" Tuyer said softly to her. "The Force works in strange ways I think." He never looked directly at Aeka, keeping his attention on the movements of the barkeeper, and that of his two Force Hounds in the corner; he could count on Vir to keep Gozen in proper manners. Unlike his failure, Kakita, the formner Jedi turned Sith had thrown aside her name, calling herself a Sith Assassin. But he did not care of her at the moment. He merely now wondered why two Jedi were on that assbackward world to begin with.

The arrival of another patron shifted the barkeep's attention, and rightly so. Aeka thought nothing of it, as it was his duty to tend to everyone so long as they paid him for it. Although she didn't turn her head to look at him, she did glance in the man's direction with her periphary. Her ears twitched when he mentioned The Force, prompting her shift a bit so she was facing this man rather than the unaccommodating barista standing before them.

"I'm sure there are stranger things." she contended, "Like a jedi who spends his time in the bed of miscreants."

She gave him a wink. Aeka had felt the presence of more force adepts than her master prior to their entrance, but she hadn't been able to figure out who these adepts were until this man initiated a conversation. She lowered her gaze to get a full look at him before she spoke again, "Are you here for business, or for pleasure?"

Norill watched Siya carefully as he made his way over to Aeka, but he eventually averted his gaze because he didn't want to stare. That was when he noticed a woman sitting by herself at the far end of the tavern. She had brown skin that appeared almost golden from the angle he saw her, and a head full of coily brown hair. She didn't appear to be enjoying herself at all, at least that's how he saw it. Now, being the compassionate fellow that he was, Norill couldn't remain idly knowing that one of his fellow patrons wasn't a grand time! He kept his eyes trained on the woman as he approached her table with a relaxed albeit confident gait. After seating himself in front of her, he raised his hand to wave the bartender over.

A pair of hazel eyes came to rest on the gray jedi's features as he spoke, "You know this is the type of place you'd come to to escape your troubles, not dwell in them."

To which the woman replied with a scoff, "Who says I'm troubled?"

Norill raised his shoulders in a light shrug before going on to explaining his reasoning. Something about body language and her manner of speaking, which surprisingly didn't end in the woman blowing him off completely. Their conversation would continue as Aeka tended to business.

A single man sat with his head on the bar counter. He was obviously drunk enough that the bartender just let him be, as all the drinks had been on him. When the man had entered the dark establishment he had been very distraught and near tears. He had black messy hair of medium length that splayed out in all directions. He had on a black trench-coat over a black basic thermal-uniform. Oddly enough he also wore open-toed sandals of a combat design. If one were to look at his face they would see a light-tanned handsome youth with only a single scar below his left eye, a vertical cut an inch long. While not unconscious he was definitely not paying any attention to the outside world and was blissfully lost in his own mind.

Only the movement of someone going past him made the man lift his head off the counter. He looked to the left where he felt the movement going and saw a man and woman speaking not far away. He lowers his face to be half hidden by the edge of his jacket's fabric, and ignors them. He still doesn't feel any better and seems to be sulking in place. He picks up what was left of the drink on the counter and downs it, puts it on the counter, then leans too far back and falls right off the stool onto the floor.

"That depends" Came the soft yet cultured reply, "On what your pleasure is, is it buisness, or is it.... business ?" He said, Tuyer knew he was walking a fine line though, but when she asked him why he was with so many miscreants, "You would be surprised on what the Force directs and wants. If information can be gleaned from such malcrents, then so be it. Or do you mean the Force Hounds in the corner giving you or the young looking thing near that big window over there dirty looks ?" Gozen did not look happy and was throwing Aeka a whole ton of dirty looks.

Vir however kept a sudden eye on a dark haired beauty near a large glass window that looked like kleersteel; the woman, dressed in what looked like a truly revealing black minidress that hugged her body so perfectly as if she made it herself or swam in a clothing cloth vat; After a few moments however the woman caught sight of the Force Hound staring at her forcing Vir to turn away as Myth arrived, now there were three Force Hounds in the tavern. In qaddition to the three Jedi, possibly four as the woman in the minidress looked nervous.

Tuyer could feel two more possible Jedi nearby to the tavern as well The movement of the man to his left however took hisd brief attention as the man fell off the stool to the floor in a heap. "I think he had one too much, from what I'm reading off him, his intoxitation levels have been.... reset...."

The woman under the window started briefly as the man hit the floor dead drunk before relaxing once again, one leg over the other as she played, distracted, with a datapad screen. Clearly bored, or something; She seemed agitated, scared, yet the strangely familar presence of another Jedi calmed her, a bit at least. Damned Holocron! was all she could think about. the Sith wanted her because they wanted what secrets the holocron held, Sadly the thing wouldn't shut up for her so she had to hide it yet again to keep it from tempting her. But it never stopped the Sith from tracking her so much, she had barely evaded getting hunted on this backwater world, but with the sudden influx of Force Sensitives....

Memories she did not want came back when she simply remembered the damned holocron. Master Riyec and his first Padawan falling to the Sith Lord, Vinh. Cynthiana nearly fell herself had she not held the Sith off so well with her staffsaber until rescued by Master Androth and the two Padawans with him. She found herself wondering however, in her time hidden on her homeworld of Kuat she had learned that the Purge had all but eliminated the Jedi Order; Vader gave her no heed when she had snuck out of the Temple with the holocron, She had implied to the new Sith Lord that she worked for Chancellor Palpatine directly as one of his personal spies in his network and was sent during the fighting to recover the artefact she carried, Vader believed her.

But Androth! the Sith Lord, Vinh, had struck him down! Because the Sith was after the holocron! She said a silent Jedi Epitath for Master Androth to rest in peace before returning to her drink, distractedly toying with the datapad on the table; seemingly bored for a moment before finishing her drink and taking up the datapad and then taking her leave without a word as a small troop of soldiers stepped in and looked around table to table as she left.

Aeka rolled her big, amber eyes upon hearing the man's response. Not only was it a weak attempt at flirtation, but it was a waste of her time. She didn't bother to acknowledge the first part of Tuyer's reply, but the latter half did prompt her to glance in the direction of the aforementioned Force Hounds, and then to the woman near the window. She eventually returned her attention to the man to her right.

"As much as I'd love to sit and have small talk with you, I really need to find someone who's willing to make a transaction." she said to him, raising her hand to brush a stray hair into line with the other thousands sprouting from her scalp. She hoped he was interested, or at the very least was savvy enough to point her in the direction of someone who would be. Aeka and her master, Norill, had gathered a fair amount of the parts they needed to fix their spaceship, which was heavily damaged when they crash landed in The Icy Peaks a few months prior. Luckily for them, the people who greeted them were hospitable enough to let them stay at their temple for the time being. They belonged to an order known as The Patronus: a collection of champions who protect this world, known as Terra, from domestic and foreign threats.

Although she had failed to notice the mean looks the Hounds sent her way, Aeka did notice the arrival of another force-sensitive individual. They were presumably a member of Tuyer's party because they headed straight for the table of other Force Hounds. Shortly afterward, the sound of the drunken man hitting the floor caused her to jump a bit. She shook her head. Alcohol dulled the senses and often compelled people to act out in violent and obnoxious manners; she didn't drink for that very reason. "It appears he's done for the night." she said while shaking her head.

Norill continued to converse with the woman whom he had approached earlier, but not without taking notice of the arrival of another force user, and a group of soldiers shortly afterward. Although he didn't pay too much attention to them, because he was more interested in the woman before him, he did glance at them from time to time. They appeared to be searching for something. For what? He had no clue. Hopefully they weren't the trigger-happy type. He was more than familiar with the arrogance that many soldiers tended to develop as a product of their positions.

"Depends on the transaction" Tuyer replied calmly, he too noticed the group of soldiers going table to table and hoped to the Force that his Force Hounds would stay calm, sadly, since they were Force Hounds, that was not exactly possible when the soldiers turned out to be Sith Troopers searching for something someone carried. These were troops he did not recognise in the slightest.

The soldiers for the moment ignored the woman as she left the tavern. A few minutes and they'd figure out who she was for certain. She never said her name to anyone, nor did she pay with credits, always with hard local currency. The soldiers stopped at Norill's table, the leader of the group, his scarred face seen looked the man over. Trained by the Sith in a few ways to ignore mind tricks the Captain asked while producing a hologram transmitter and activating it, showing a woman in a black minidress with a saberstaff in combat against a swarm of Droids on Moorja a few decades before "Have you seen this woman ? She is carrying an extrely valued item stolen from its keepers and must belocated." The soldiers on the level, were for the moment nice.

Until they got to the Force Hounds, who tried to ignore threm only to start a hell of a bitchfit of a fight from Myth who had not been informed to be on her best behaviours; which lead to a sudden standoff, with Tuyer at the bar rubbing his forehead, Just damned wonderful. The Arkanian Offshoot wasn't exactly happy. But oh well At least nobody was killed..... yet

The drunken man slowly came to his senses after a few minutes of laying motionless on the floor. His eyes blinked open and he hazily looked at his surroundings. Only after rolling onto his stomach does he attempt to stand, and does so in a shaky manner. He only now notices the militants around the tavern, making him uneased and wondering what was going on. Leaning with one hand on the counter he supports his weight while also leaving a black marking on the counter from his palm.

After this is done he decides that perhaps the militants could help him. He drunkenly grabs one of the soldiers lightly and uses him to support most of his weight. "Sir, would you be able to give me directions? I am rather lost... or something." Every word out of his mouth was slurred but clearly recognizable as Basic.

A few hours earlier...

"Yeah, alright, but here's the thing," Harvey was saying, scratching an itchy spot right beneath his fedora. Gods help this asshole if he'd been given lice. "I know you're lying, and I've killed all your friends. And also, you don't have a gun. And I do. So you're gonna talk, or I'm going to shoot you. I can shoot you many times without you dying. It's seriously the craziest thing. Technically not allowed, but hey, I don't belong to any precinct. Wanna know where I'll shoot first? Give ya a hint: you need it to walk." The detective grinned at the trembling gangster sitting across from him. He'd almost certainly pissed his pants. The light was a little dim, but you just kind of know when someone does that.

"C'mon man, you know I can't work with no fuzz." The chap's voice cracked halfway through. One of the dead bodies nearby twitched a little. That was always a little creepy.

"I've got..." Harvey checked the twelve slots of his specially-made firearm (the other one was still holstered), "seven reasons that say other why. The seventh has you eating dirt. Talk. Now."

Now.

Detective Warren opened the door to the Penance, his energized metallic armor slightly visible from beneath his sleuth-inclined dark trench coat. The matching fedora shadowed his eyes which, before long, caught sight of an increasingly hostile situation. Jinkies. Better give that one a wide berth. And he did.

The ruggedly handsome thirty-something year old made his way to the bar where there was a - YOWZA, check her out. Though he'd never really been attracted to someone so... feline... before, well, he believed that change was good. He picked a spot near the aforementioned woman and the silver-haired male she appeared to be speaking to and tapped on the bar with a gloved finger to get the bartender's attention. Pretty soon he was being served a small glass of orange juice - with pulp.

Better lay low. His two pythons mutedly hummed with energy beneath his coat. He'd wait till the heat died down a little before resuming his investigation. No sense in dying in a ratty old bar. Though to be fair, his mother had always told him he would. He hoped she didn't moonlight as a fortune teller. If anyone looked his way, he'd give a small nod, but otherwise kept his head low.

Aeka's eyes darted around the bar to see if anyone else was attempting to listen in on their conversation. That's when she noticed the soldiers moving from table to table. Her eyes widened when she saw them approached the table that Norill was sitting at. Oh please don't say anything to provoke him.... She thought to herself. Although her master was by no means belligerent, he had no qualms with throwing blows with someone who he felt insulted him...and that wasn't a hard thing to do when one took his arrogance into account. She sighed and shook her head before returning her attention to Tuyer. Aeka leaned in close and lowered her voice to a volume approaching a whisper, "We have acquired high-power weaponry that could be very useful to you, or someone you're close with."

Norill shifted his gaze to the group of soldiers that approached his table, swinging one arm over the back of his chair and kicking one leg over his knee. He gave the holographic image a long look. It didn't take him long to realize that it was the very same woman who left the tavern moments before, but he decided to keep that information to himself.

"Never seen her in my life." he replied frankly, "But I'll tell you what, she knows her way around a saberstaff."

She wasn't better than him of course, but she still displayed a laudable degree of skill. Norill watched as the soldiers made their way over to the group of Force Hounds, who, apparently didn't take kindly to the authoritarian air that they carried with them, because a standoff broke out shortly afterward. The jedi rose to his feet, making sure to grab his female companion by the hand and escort her over to where Aeka and Tuyer were standing. If things went downhill, he could just toss her over the counter-top so she wouldn't get gunned down or something.

Tuyer listened as Aeka spokem, that made sense Softly replying he said "Weapons like that could have good buyers of the right roads and tradespines" He said, The black market was one place to go, yet if a pair of Jedi had the weapons and were willing to sell them. "High power weapons, ship mounted or held ?" If it were held weapons, what he wouldn't give for his Force Hounds to have some firepower.

The Sith officer gave Norill a sidelong glance. Turning tohis comrade he spoke briefly in a strange dialect but nodded, turning back to Norill the Sithspawn smiled "You are certain you have not seen her ? What about this ?" The image showed an ancient sith holocron then, the fist sized balllike thing floated off the holoprojector.

The Force Hounds were clearly not happy, out od the three, Vir was the only one still sitting, so much for keeping Gozen calm, the male Force Hound had gotten to his feet so qwuickly his chair went flying. Vir gave her master a sidelong glace as if to tell him, 'I tried, blame Myth, please'

Tuyer merely briefly nodded towards Vir, she had done her best, that was what counted. Turning as Norill arrived with a lady on his arm, interesting, so the Jedi were allowing family within their ranks now ? It edidn't matter. The captain of the sith troops went table to table and ignoring his own men went right to Aeka and Tuyer with the same questions he'd asked Norill, replaying the holoprojector. Tuyer shook his head, he'd only briefly seen a woman looking the same, but not exact her. If it was the same woman, he wasn't sure.

He did say one thing though "She does show skill with a saberstaff" He had no idea of the forms the girl was using, but she looked to handle herself even against droidikas.

It was then everything went to shit as Gozen lost his temper and ended up throwing a table into the sith troopers

"They're hand-held." she interjected, "Plasma-based, to be exact." Aeka reached into her pocket to fetch her holoprojector and placed it on the counter between them. It was a slate gray, rectangular device with a small lens in the very center, which flared to life when she tapped it with her finger. Ebullient photons coalesced into a coherent image of one of the weapons they had in stock. The Directed Plasma Rifle, or DPR, was the preferred weapon of numerous factions across Terra such as the Terran Militia. While conventional weapons relied on the kinetic energy of solid projectiles to damage targets, the DPR employed bundles of ionized gas, or "plasma", traveling at high-speed to burn and incinerate enemies. She let the holographic image rotate for a few seconds as she gave him the rundown on the weapon's specifics before tucking it back into her pocket.

Norill furrowed his brow as the soldier continued prodding him for answers. He was surprised to see the image of a Sith holocron emerge from the holoprojector. Who was this woman and what had she gotten herself into? She must have stolen it, and these men were responsible for recovering it. After a moment of musing, Norill shook his head. "Never seen that thing before in my life." He waved them off before heading over to Aeka and Tuyer.

He glanced over his shoulder upon hearing a clamorous sound, only to see that one of the other patrons had thrown an entire table into the armed men. "Looks like they're going to need our merchandise after all."

Ominous creaking from all around, and those that cared to watch would notice the accelerated aging of the structure of the building happening at an astonishingly fast rate, wood rotting, visible metal rusting over. Groans sounded all over the building, settling into silence for a final moment of peace.

The gunshot report of a structural beam collapsing seemed impossibly loud, as the soft, weakened support snapped like a twig, and with it, the roof canted dangerously inwards, plaster breaking free, practically aging into dust in mid-fall, the gap growing cracks that spider-webbed across the ceiling. A beam fell free, slamming in the counter and collapsing it as the sides simply gave out, billowing sawdust and broken, worn shards of marble shattered from the now decrepit top. As it fell, it broke into pieces on contact with the splitting floor. The damage to the counter was a catalyst, disturbing the balance of the shelves on the wall behind it, already under pressure from the bowing wall behind it, tipping forward to dump the bottles of alcohol, glasses, china, and silverware it had born onto the floor in a cacophony of pops, clatters, and shatters. The upper office at the rear groaned before it's supports gave, sending the room crashing into the ground in a pile of splinters.

The mysterious collapse had proceeded slowly until that point, a few minutes of time as the weakest links in the building came free. Like a river that had been wearing at a dam, it began to come apart at the seams with incredible swiftness.

The rear of the building led the tidal wave of disaster, the office had been a lynchpin of it's integrity. The inner supports of the wall snapped like toothpicks, sending slivers of wood and fittings through the wall like gunshots as the plaster shattered like safety glass, the ceiling caving in like an inverted wave as the wall gave. The impact into the floor crushed wood, cement, metal, plaster, and glass as though under a hammer, now ancient tables and chairs slammed into the growing pile of debris with nearly no resistance. Floorboards split into fibers under the weight of the impact, as the wave compromised yet more struts that held the ceiling's bulk, snapping them as tinder before coming down with sudden finality. Dust, laden with the scent of rot and decay, billowed heavy in the inside air, muted pops as miraculously surviving bottles, lightbulbs, and neon signs gave under the pressure descending on them. Half collapsed, a freak support stood for a few precious moments, squealing and flexing.

Then a knot in the wood burst free to smash through the softened door, the pillar cracking in half and allowing the collapse further, until but the span of a couple dozen heartbeats later, all that remained of the Penance Tavern was a lump of debris and ruin. Where the kitchen had been, one of the tanks of propane that resided within was puncture by the steel support bar, the settling of the wreckage making contact with a torn wiring to produce a spark. The gas ignited, a heartbeat later the tank blew like a bomb, setting off the other three in sequence like a bizarre string of overgrown firecrackers. Punishing the rubble further, and igniting spilled cooking oil somewhere under the shattered husk.

Flames sprang to life quickly in the rotted dry wood and treated timber that was plentiful there, and soon what had been a tavern of some small fame (or infamy, some might say), would be nothing more than an inferno.

The setting changes from the-penance-tavern to Durasia City Spaceport

The rain had just let up. "Did you get the records ?" Said a soft voice, a female voice. Clearly computerised.

"Yes" Came a gruffer sounding male voice. "I got the flamin' things for the Master"

"Master Siya grew impatient with us, and also unhappy with your actions Gozen" Said the same computerised female voice

"Shove it Myth" Gozen replied stepping into the light of the spaceport as the weather cleared, "I got the Sithblasted records Master Siya sent me for, stop rubbing in that you kept me from doing more harm then I could to those Sith troopers at that bar, I told you once already, it was not my fault the place went up in smoke at the drop of a hat!"

"It was a good way to end a fight." Vir replied stepping into view. The red armored silver haired blind eyed woman did not look too happy, But then again the Force Hounds were always unhappy, yet sometimes they were happier then most.

"Why does Master Siya even want these records directly anyhow ?" Gozen asked holding up a datacard "I mean sure its his last Padawan, that Sunrider girl...."

"Deiyi Sunrider is the Force Incarnate you idiot!" Thundered Myth as she made herself known in a nearby holotank "Didn't you ever wonder why or how our powers and skills, not to mention our Forcesabers were able to be so easy to use, and why we sought out Master SIya to help us control our abilities and learn new skills ?" The silver armored black haired woman was Virs oppisit. If anyone was to teach them to learn their true potental it was Tuyer Siya.

Tuyer Siya had trained the Force itself in the arts of the Jedi, and now he wanted her records, all the possible records. Before someone else got to them. The Holotank beeped a incoming notice, and Master Siya appeared on it "Gozen, Vir, Myth, good, you're here, We have a mission, and its close by, Durasia City Spaceport is home to countless millions"

"Master Siya, the records as requested" Gozen said, this was not the time to be angered at anyone

"A mission Master ?" asked Myth on her own holo

"Do not keep us in suspense Master Siya, What is the mission you require of us ?" Vir asked turning from her 'brother' to their Jedi Master.

"It is too imprtant to tell most of the details, just be on the look out for one known among scholars as 'The Lost Sith' if you find him, or her as the case may be, be careful, though their Abilites are rumored to be vast, they are unconfirmed. When you have found or come upon this Apparent Sith, come to me at the Cantina in the Red Light District. Master Siya, out" the Holo died then, the three Force Hounds thought briefly over their new mission, finally! Gozen's personal comlink went off with a data node. Connecting the datacard to the comlink he sent the information to Tuyer Siya without a word.

Myth's holo winked out a moment later as Vir picked up comm traffic from the centeral spaceport. "There was a man flagged at the Screener at customs here. Must not be a local. Looked apparently a heavy hitter too, according to the brief report our slicers got."

"Apparently a man carrying two lightsabers was briefly halted before let go and considered unarmed. He may be the man Master Siya seeks now." Myth said as she stepped into view from a nearby sewer access port. This was it. their first mission the three of them.

"Then what are we waiting for ?" Gozen asked tossing the empty and force destroyed Datacard aside to a nearby junk pile. "Master Siya has the data the card had, the card itself was useless. He gave us a new mission, so lets get to it." Red Light District normally was a sleazy location, but it did the job well enough.

But it was Myth that asked the question on their minds. "Why is Master Siya in the Red Light District ? Its bad ehnough he had us go into the Records District. this place is too.... sterile for my liking, the spaceport feels more like home"

"Home, you mean Notron before it became Coruscant ?" Vir asked as the three Hounds left the landscaped lawns of the Records District and headed for a nearby Lightrail line to get back to the Spaceport itself.

"No, I mean Zakuul before Arcann's sister Vaylin took control" Myth said

"Do you think we could have surived on Zakuul if it were not for Master Siya showing up out of nowhere and shoving off those Zealots ?" Vir said, Siya had saved their lives. To that, Myth had no answer, Vir smirked. Today was just getting good

Ten minutes later and the lightrail came to a halt, allowing the three Hounds to exit, on Ariel these three often got much clout if that when it came to dealing with the locals, most people were scared of the armored jmuggernaughts, yet most just kept them alone and rarely bothered them, the police there knew their part in things and the Jedi they were with was important, after all they apparently knew how important Force Hounds could be if that

The ride on the lightrail was silent, nobody said a word. People stared at them from many angles, yet they ignored the wierd looks, some were of confusion, others of fear, most were of respepct however, which threw Gozen off a bit at times. Yet it worked out in the end. So to speak

The three stepped off the platform of the Lightrail station and headed for the spaceport Screeners area, They could get access to the area network cameras, normally that was most helpful to be sure. Gozen accessed a terminal whe nthey neared the Scsreener point. The roaring of the air taxis and otherwise all around as Myth wandered and Vir kept watch for her 'brother'

"Got it, this guy." Gozen brought up a holo tank for Myth to see on her implant "This officer stopped the man, but then the man was let go."

"Track him ?" Myth said looking around among the people milling through the area.

"Trying" Gozen said typing on the holographic keypad. "Got it. He's in the Residental Section.... Oh and get this, the guy reeks of some weird shit too, scent indicators are warning of a biohazard of some form. We'll smell him before we see him for sure." Gozen snickered, Myth smirked

"Residental zone ? Which way ?" Vir asked Myths unasked question

"West. Those turbolifts." Gozen said logging out of the terminal, the three then darted off towards the turbolifts to the Residental Section.

"Lets go" Myth said hitting the command to activate the lift, the threesome then went upwards into the apartment complex, the Spaceport Residental Section was a large one. Rought two Sections in the District as a whole. It also overlooked the St Rufis Medical Center District as well

Why would a Jedi on the run decide to stay overnight in a Spaceport when he could be gaining distance from his foes?

Because screw sleeping on that spaceship one more night!

It hadn't taken long for Sadr to find the food he was looking for. It wasn't extremely high class, but it was decent. The food was much better than the ration packs he'd been feasting on these past few days. Perhaps that's why he viewed the restaurant in such high regard. But he didn't want to attract unwanted attention by waltzing into one of those fancy places.

Besides, he probably would've been kicked out for bringing an "unpleasant odor" to the atmosphere.

To rectify that problem, immediately following meal time, he had walked the short distance to the Residential Sector and gazed around for a place to sleep for the night. Spotting a fairly nice and massive hotel called the "Dura Inn", he walked in and approached the front counter.

"Hey, I need a room for an overnight stay," he said to the young man working behind the counter.

The man looked at the shady character in front of him before answering, "I don't know if we have any-"

"That's a lie you're about to tell," Sadr interrupted. "You have too many rooms in the building to not have a single one left." He paused, realizing that being blunt like that wouldn't get him anywhere. He sighed, "Look, I may not look it right now, but I clean up nicely. All I really need is a shower and some laundry done and I'll be just fine."

The man continued to shake his head, "I'm sorry, sir. You'll have to try somewhere else."

Screw it. Sadr's patience was wearing a bit thin and so he just waved his hand. "Room 622 will do fine."

The man grabbed the key and held it out to him. "Room 622 will do fine."

"Thank you," Sadr responded quickly before heading to the elevator. He cursed inwardly. He couldn't keep doing that. Each time was an opportunity for anyone who was after him to mark down potential coordinates on his whereabouts. He knew Darth Feero could probably sense beings through the Force from systems away. He never knew if he was close, but he always assumed he was. It was safer that way.

Things were not going smoothly here. He knew it was because of tight regulations and an unregistered social hierarchy, but there was just nothing he could do. He just was lucky the officer and the receptionist were both simple minded individuals. His mind trick didn't work that often. So far, he was two for two.

Reaching the sixth floor, he made his way through the short hallway, looking on the doors for the numbers of each room. Room 622 was the eleventh door down on the right side of the hallway facing north. Using the key, he opened the door and closed it behind him, making sure it was locked. Now, he felt secure.

Okay...let's clean up a bit.

He started off with a shower, a quick one. Before going in, he'd set his clothes in the bin labeled Laundry. He hid the lightsabers underneath the bed while he was in the shower. When he came out, the bin was empty, replaced by a moving coat rack hanging from the wall, his clothes hanging from it. Smelling them, he realized they were clean in less than ten minutes flat: an impressive feat. Putting his gray clothes on, he put the lightsabers in their respective hilts and proceeded to sat down.

He was going to try and train with the Force.

Recently, he'd been trying to get in touch with his light side, trying to find that spark that would propel himself into the light abilities of the Force. Surprise surprise, it was still exceedingly difficult. He'd just never had one of those bright moments in his life. He never knew his parents. He'd been a slave his whole first part of his life until Darth Feero adopted him. Then, he became a personal slave. And now he was in hiding.

There wasn't much light to be had from that cave he'd practically lived in his whole life.

His thoughts kept shifting to the farmland he'd worked on Nim Drovius. The horrors of people falling around him...the dangers of not doing a job correctly...what he had to do to survive.

It all brought him to a darker place, getting him in touch with his dark abilities some more, but he didn't want to feel the darkness. He already knew how to tap into that power. Instead, he wanted to-

Woah... His Force Sense picked something up...or rather somethings. The Force was stronger than usual downstairs, meaning a group of Force users were here. He couldn't feel that well to determine exactly who their affiliation was with, the Jedi, the Sith, or a neutral party. Unless it was neutral, he should be running out of the hotel right now.

Concentrating harder, he realized that there were three of them...very sensitive in the Force...and very pro-Jedi yet carrying some dark Force abilities with them as well.

Force Hounds...probably here on behalf of another who wanted him. Well, he wasn't going to let them have him.

Luckily he always packed light, just in case this occasion would occur. He knew he would only have a few seconds before they were here. He kept Force Conceal on, staying hidden within the shadows of the Force. Thinking quickly, he opened the window looking down towards the bottom of the hotel. He then grabbed a chair and propped it up against the door, to stall for a little bit of time. Looking around, he made sure he hadn't forgotten anything.

He was ready.

By the time the three Force Hounds got into the room, they would find it empty, a window opened and not a trace of him left to be discovered.

"He was here ?" Myth asked calmly, the man behind the counter shook his head "We saw inthe records him entering this Inn. Now, where is he ?" Myth held up the holo of Sadr, sadly it only showed him in his hooded robes, never showing his face "Has anyone entered this Inn looking like this ?"

The man behind the check-in desk was scared, Myth, and her 'sister' Vir, and their 'brother' Gozen, were heavily armored yet amazingly light on their feet. thankfully Gozen was watching the front door for anyone matching the holo, using his senses with the Force to try and locate their target. "I cannot say Ma'am, I just got on duty moments ago. perhaps the records could show more ?"

"Bring them on screen where I can see them please." Myth tried being nice for once. it made Gozen smirk, Myth, nice, never! The man did so, it showed Sadr's arrival, never seeing his face, but clearly noticing the thermal scan of the poor guy, he stank to high heaven! Nevertheless the man was given a room. Myth smirked, "What floor in the last, twenty minutes, had a room checked out ?"

The man behind the desk typed on a holographical keybard a second or two. "Ah, it says here that room 622 was checked out nine minutes ago. One key, yet we can give another, are you a member of his or her party ?" the keeper asked

"You could say that." Myth replied. Turning to her compansions she nodded towards the front door. She'd go up alone. Vir handed Myth her force saber. Myth stared, when did.... how ?

"Try not to drop it in the refuse network again" Vir grumbled, she herself stank a little but not as bad as before. Myth smirked, with pleasure. The two women parted ways then as Myth went to the turbolift to go upstairs, and the others were headed outside to keep watch.

As soon as Myth was in the turbolift, Vir got onto her personal comlink "Master Siya, the objective may have eluded us, I sense trouble above. Advise."

"The Lost Sith, if that truly be the title of the one you are now following, may have sensed your presense within his senses reach. I sense the Force at work, go to the spaceport docking bays, I have searched the recent dockings within thel asy thirty minutes. A YT1300 has caught my eye. It feels.... familar.... Mask your force signature and sneak aboard, should the objective board and make to exit the spaceport with his vessel, signal your location with your comlink, we can track the comlinks location on the coordinates, Siya Out" Vir nodded at her orders, it was time to get moving.

Casting a quick look to Gozen who nodded to her, he too heard the orders Vir was given, he was to keep watch in the case of their objective leaving the Inn grounds, Dura Inn was an amazing 44 floor building with what was called Hammerspace Halls that added countless rooms to the already huge building in all directions. For all sorts of aliens too. Vir headed for the docking bays, a YT1300.... why a light freighter like that ? Well, it wasn't her place to argue really, if she had to hide in it, then so be it.

Myth stepped from the turbolift on the desired floor, The force leading her way to a door. Using the key she tried to open the door, but it was stuck shut. She rattled the door a few times before smirking and slamming her foot into the door handle with all her might and half the power of the Force behind the kick, yet she aimed only to open the door, not break it completely apart. Stepping into the room she saw a window hanging open, a gentle breeze filtered into the room from the open window. Moving to it she stuck her head out and looked first up, then left and right, and finally down. Reaching out with her senses the Force Hound caught brief sight of handholds used. But nothing more. With a growl the Hound turned and stalked from the room, pulling the door closed behind her

Getting back into the turbolift Myth contacted Gozen "Objective is gone, it must have sensed us, keep watch for anyone unnatual on the grounds of the Inn, I will meet you outside. Where is Vir, I do not sense her"

"Master Siya has given Vir new orders, these orders hopefully will get us closer to our objective. Master Siya also wants us to simply follow the Objective and mask our force signatures as well to not be seen." Came Gozens reply, well, this was interesting to be sure. "Master Siya also informed to be on the lookout for Droids of unknown make, And if we see his old Padawan, Lady Sunrider, we are to advise and work with her at all costs"

"Sunrider, here ? Not possible." Myth replied hitting the controls for the turbolift to go back to the lobby level. "Last Master Siya heard from her she was with a Archivst searching for something on a remote station somewhere in Wild Space."

"Which is why Master Siya said that we should work with her at all costs. Maybe lead the objective to her as well, but I'm not sure. Master Siya did not go into detail. So we're going to have to play this by ear. Vir is tracking the primar Objective, our new objective is to find Lady Sunrider, and quickly" Well, that meant a lot, if Master Siya wanted them to find Deiyi, that left Vir, and Master Siya, with this... lost sith. Then again Master Siya could best all of them easily. And not many could survive or withstand such things.

"Alright, I'll meet you on the Obsidian. You know what to do. Vir's got this. Lets do what Master Siya wants" Myth cut the connection as Gozen took off at a run from the Dura Inn. They had a new mission.

Vir hopped the security fence easily, ignored by the Spaceport security she found her desired location, using the Force to guide her steps. The Hound halted however at a gate, the guard on duty looked towards her slightly confused, what was she doing there ? But when he saw her face, the mark denoting her name, Vir. He knew then who she was, a Force Hound, someone beyond security police. Someone with someone powerful. "Open this gate." Hangar 34-C was her desired target. The guard nodded and hit the controls. The gate slid open as Vir stepped up to it. Masking her Force Presence the Hound snuck up the ramp into the ship, and her oversensitive nose was assailed by the scent of a thousand cats gone to town inside. Everything was clawed up.

It made the Hound wonder.

Was their target, her Objective, a feline ?

Was it.... mean ?

All of a sudden Vir felt a pang of fear in her heart, her own fear, fears she hadn't had since a child, since before meeting Master Siya. Fear of.... death

But her task was simple, stay hidden, and let Master Siya track her comlink coordinates. That was all she had to do. She prayed to the Force she did not have to do any fighting.

But then again, fighting was what she did best.

It was amazing how across all species of life, through any rank in any kind of military or organization, and even with unimaginable powers, people seldom looked up.

Well, granted this Force Hound did, but not necessarily in the right area.

Sadr was holding himself up against the upper corner of the wall, watching one of the Hounds force entry in search for something. Him. She approached the window, looking around to see whether he was outside. A growl of irritation escaped her lips before she left, shutting the door behind her. He managed to catch the Hounds name: Myrh.

Now Sadr was well conditioned…well, actually, he was pretty freakin’ tough. But despite this, it took a lot of strength to hold himself against the corner of the wall. He wasn’t using the Force to help him either, since he was trying to mask his presence. The moment she left, Sadr dropped from his position, landing on the bed to mask the thud. Panting, he looked up towards the door to see if the Hound had heard and was coming back.

She didn’t.

Sighing in relief, he stayed masked, reaching out with the Force to find more info. Only two Hounds now. A pang of paranoia slid through him. Where was the third? He contemplated and came to the rationale that the third was above him. This place was huge. He couldn’t even sense down to Hammerspace Halls. She may be here, just not within his sensing abilities, which was a good sign.

So now it was confirmed. Force Hounds were after him. Which wasn’t good since they were Force sensitive and could probably sense every movement he made, hence the ā€œHoundā€ part of their rank. However, Force Hounds were typically owned by someone. So who was their master?

One thing was for sure: it wasn’t a Sith. Sadr could know he was still a few leaps ahead of Feero. But then who? A Jedi who’d heard of his situation? Nevertheless, he decided it wasn’t worth sticking around to find out.

He had to get out of here. Now.

And just in time… He peered over the edge to see the two Hounds heading off, unknown to him as of where. But they turned right instead of left. He leapt from the window, climbing down the side of the building and landing on the ground below. Peering off down the road the two Hounds just went down, he turned and ran the other way towards the hangar.

This time, he didn’t even bother trying to make it through the traditional way. The sooner he could get to his ship, the sooner he could fly from these people, the better he’d be. So he bypassed the whole security checkpoint by taking a leap over the fence and walking towards Hangar Area C. For the most part, he stayed out of sight from the guards. He waited for a patrol to pass before trying to enter the Sector from the outside through a door.

Locked. Damn, he thought. Shoulda known it wouldn’t be that simple… But he was prepared for it. He reached towards the handle and used Force Lightning on it. He wasn’t very good at it, but he could use it for the simple stuff like stunning pursuers, powering electrical currents, charging batteries…

And getting through electronically sealed doors.

He made his way through the hallways, opening doors until he reached the main hub-bub of the hangar. Looking around to see if there were no guards, he made his way through the central area, passing by hangars until he reached the one his ship occupied. He had been presented a key card to lock his hangar door to keep people out and now he used it, pushing open the door to get to his ship and get the f-

He stopped when he saw the ship’s entryway down. He hadn’t left it like that before. That meant someone was in there. He pulled out his Sentinel Lightsaber before quietly entering his ship, his finger over the activation button.

Ah, welcome back to the cat lady’s house… The stench of cat pee assaulted his nose instantly as he stepped on board. He’d nearly forgot what that smelt like. He would’ve sighed at the many miles of smell horrors that were to come had it not been for the Force Hound standing right there, gazing about the place. There was a stench coming from her as well. It was fear.

Enough of this, he decided and pushed the activation button. A sound echoed through the halls of the hallway, the sound of his lightsaber activating. The area was lit up with the yellow glow of the blade and the low soothing hum took away any silence that may have been there.

ā€œI’m going to have to ask you politely to leave my ship,ā€ Sadr told the Force Hound in a dead tone voice. He didn’t need volume to sound intimidating.

Vir herself was a imposing woman, a Force Hound, born on a planet called Stewjon and bred on Taris and Cathar before being saved from a slave trader attack on Taris by Tuyer Siya, Vir was, like all Force Hounds, tattooed extensively on her body with her name. Her long black hair was in a tight headband ot keep it out of her face.

Since it was now only Vir who was left on Ariel to begin with as another ship shortly lifted off. She had taken a brief moment to get the lay of the ship, but that brief moment was her undoing. The Hound steeled herself at the sudden sound of a lightsaber activating behind her and smirked. "I'd say the same thing..." Vir said softly, her voice echoing in the corridor of the YT1300. Turning around the black haired Hound took in the hooded man. But had to stare, a yellow saber ? Sith never used such a color! Her black eyes blinked as she took the hooded man in. Another smirk, and she disappeared.

It was her skill, her favored easiest to use skill. To simply vanish from sight and sound. Vir was not to engage in any manner, the skill of this one was unknown, her mission was observe and track only, never to engage. But thankfully since he engaged first she had to defend. And she had taken in everything of the YT1300 to begin with. So stalling the man was the best plan.

She spoke again "I do not think it is needed for either of us to leave" She reappeared, behind Sadr, she never reached for her Forcesaber, nore did she take a threatening stance of any kind. Her armor could take anything from blaster bolts to a lightsaber. After all, Beskar and Cortosis was quite useful. "Besies, I'm not here to fight you. That is never my intent. But there is someone, my Master, who sent me to find you. He wanted to know more about the one called, 'The Lost Sith' we do not know if it is male, or female. But judging how you sound now, I'm going to go with male." Vir had a smirk still on her face

The ramp remained open, she had sent out the beacon, now to wait for her Master to show up. If he does. Vir sometimes could play nice, but Myth, never. Thankfuly Gozen wasn't there, he'd strike right off the bat, strike first, ask questions later. "I am not intending to fight you, but I will if I must" She had a odd sense of honor, this was his ship, and if he did not want it damaged or want to fight in such a scent overloaded place to begin with. She could work with that. She withdrew her forcesaber. This wasn't going to end well if at all. But she had a sense of honor, and if Sadr did not want to wreck his ship, they could fight outside of it. If he wanted. Him first of course.

After all, her master had sent her new objectives if confronted by the target, delay the objective until he arrived. In this case, judging by a holoclock outside the ship, would be a while, Thankfully Master Siya was listening in the conversation for every word and advising Vir on what to do and say.

An honor duel perhaps ? A friendly sparr ? Test this ones skills maybe ? What exactly can be done if that to this one ? "Perhaps a friendly duel of a sort ? A simple test or even a means to pass the time ?" She said simply, hoping he'd take her up on it, She stood to the side of the open ramp, if he so much as said ladies first to her, she'd Force Choke the nut and chuck him out of his own ship before going after him to duel him so quick she'd make a Tusken Raider pee his pants just by standing and apparently not moving a finger.

After all, she was a Force Hound. And as such, her abilites were stronger, thanks to the Dark Side, but her Master, Tuyer Siya, saw to it that she was properly trained and could channel her dark energies into a proper weapon rather then just go all out and rage all over the place. It was through Tuyer Siya that Vir had learned proper manners, to control her anger and hate, and to channel the dark side as a weapon rather then an ally or a dark lure to pull her into its dark embrace. Not that it really mattered, she could feel the Dark Side, though weak, ini Sadr, yet.
