WarpStar's Story

roared overhead going through a series of maneuvers before returning to the beach coming in low kicking a roostertail of water nearly 40 ft high. Just as he crossed the line between wet an dry sand he transformed into his robotic form and landed making deep impressions in the semi moist sand.

WarpStar /me roared over head looking for a place to land. He had seen his commander come here many times and wanted to see what she found so interesting. He came to hover just above the street before shifting to a robotic form, compact enough to fit inside the bar. With great care the mech pulled the door open, nearly pulling it off, crouched down and walked in glancing around before finding a spot to claim that was devoid of Oragnics.

WarpStar tilted his head at the odd girl with the man on a lead. The man looked dead, or very nearly and the girl, though lively didn't seem that far off. His optics scanned the room to fall on the booth of Soliders and refocused his optics to see them better.

WarpStar found the myriad of unusual lifeforms in the bar somewhat fascinating. So this is what his Commander did when she claimed to be researching. He leaned forward a bit repositioning himself. Not out of discomfort, but to better scan the lifeforms that were present. He took stock of individual questioning about the new visitors. Perhaps his presence disturbed the young man. And still he could not help but let his attention fall back to the crew of officers at the bar. Their armor looked robotic but they refueled like organics. And so he commenced a deeper scan.

WarpStar was curious at the pair of young females here without escort but assumed it was common place here in this bar, or this town even. The bar, he also noted was self service it seemed and then there was the creature that seemed to be living pigment. Had he not been warned about such things, he would think his processor was being taken over by space madness. He stood tapped his shoulder and in a flash of scattered molecules was gone.

Sighting a ship on the horizon and for no reason other than for his own pleasure, he armed his rail guns and fired across its bow, sending the crew into a panic. He rolled off laughing to himself. While Tsubasa was busy else where he would have fun with these pathetic organics of where there seemed to be no end. He rolled again and swept his wings back accellerating so fast that he broke the barrier of sound, right above the ship. Two of the humans screamed and grabbed their ears and his sensors detected one of them seemed to be bleeding. "Feeble fleshling. How easily you crumble and that was simply from sound!" His thirst for malice some what sated the plane angled for the shore, came to a near dead stop, transformed with the sound of shifting pieces of metal and came to rest of heavy tripod feet in the more packed sand.

He skirted a wide perimeter of the creature cautiously, his feet sinking into the loose sand higher up the beach, To compensate metal shifted into panels that connected to each of his toe appendages increasing the surface area of his feet so that he could better navigate across the sand. "Organic worlds disgust me. Moisture everywhere, unstable foundations. Not a single solid sheet of metal or crystal for miles." Were it up to him, he'd have simply fragged the creature occupying 'his' beach without a second thought, but Tsubasa's affinity for organics and stayed his hand. He knelt down low, compressed air venting as the struts shifted to bear weight and he lowered his crimson gaze to the creature. "I am certain I do not know you, flesh creature."

WarpStar observed the creature, its mouth like his organic companions, only more rudimentary forming words. The glint of moonlight reflecting in its moist mouth parts causing him to feel as if his tanks were about to purge.

WarpStar sneered and took a step back. "I am aware of your existance creature." He closed off all means of mental communication to his processor and send back at the creature a blast of sound so violent if it didn't cause her damage he would truly be surprised. "At least you know of my species but that gives you no right to speak without using your vocoder, or what ever it is that allows your species to talk. I...." He tapped two fingers to the side of his head and appeared to be listening. He then turned his attention back to the organic. "Tsubasa is requesting I return to the ship." Before the female could respond Warp transformed, launched out over the water, and vanishes with an crescendo and a loud crack of thunder as he transwarped out.

WarpStar roared overhead. His sensors told him that the figure on the beach was Tsubasa. He banked hard and transformed as he landed on the wet sand making his way over to her.

Selerei continued to follow the trail towards the east, the sea bubbling as the creature passed shallow beneath.
