Louis continued to listen as his mind began to connect several facts to others he had learned or heard. "Well it sounds like I have a lot of work cut out for me." Louis exhaled more so out of irritation as something came to mind. All creatures are those of habit.

"Well Mr. Hammerstine I am here to serve and aid you like I've said before." Louis shook his head slightly only to run his left hand through his hair. The law was clear on several terms but this would be a interesting job. "I will need to know when they contact you for your services again. If you are brought down for more questioning don't hesitate to bring me in."

"Of course Mr. Vernon." He said simply, pleased. "And thank you for coming out to see me. I'm afraid I'm still a bit nervous from my ordeal." Fifteen years in isolation meant he wasn't at all comfortable in crowds or in cities, not anymore. He was working on that given his business, but too many people around him tended to have him become incredibly nervous. It meant he took in much less work than before, but in his line, it wasn't like it wasn't lucrative work each time, regardless. "I am of course, still legally obligated to help them, but of course I'll contact you the next time. And I will definitely contact you the next time they see fit to question me."

It felt good just to have a lawyer in his corner, at this point. He could certainly afford it too. Prices in the business had gone up while he was out. The alcoholic's delight from the other day had netted him a good 100K, and that was just for mundane things. For now, he'd stick to one job a month on that, given the raise in value, and he'd stick to the non-magical market.

"It was no issue driving out to meet with an employer." Louis added while nodding and offering a smile. "Your nervousness is understandable but I cannot imagine for myself how one deals with all that has occurred to you. Regardless I'm sure you will keep me in contact. I've taken the liberties to leave you a file here upon your desk containing my contact information."

Louis began to ponder something for a moment before turning himself away from Mr. Hammerstine. "Tell me something. Do you wish to aid the MCU? Do you feel forced or are you willfully complying with their orders?"

Brandon considered this. "It's hard to say. I enjoy the work, with some fo the teams." He admitted. "Other teams...other teams, not so much. And I a well compensated for my time, regardless." He admitted and then hesitated "I don't think I mind helping. It feels good to know I've done good in the world given the amount of death I caused." Still caused, though much less now. "At the same time, I would not mind moving from forced consultant to a willing one." On that could turn down the occasional assignment.

"The area Warden, who has to approve requests for consultants, is good to me. If that ever changed, I think I would want out of that aspect of my parole, so long as it didn't mean being bound."

"One needs to enjoy what they do. Either from your art you've mentioned or even working with groups of individuals. Regardless you should know that one does not always get the choice they want when it comes to working with others." Louis grinned a bit as he recalled once having to deal with a rather annoying woman who ranked above him back home.

Mr. Vernon walked away from his post he hovered over only to glance to see if there was a window present in the office. He wanted to see if he could get another look at the MCU car present whilst thinking of what they would gain if they had been present for this little meeting. "Again if anything changes or you feel uncomfortable with how they are treating you please let me know." Louis piped up only to chuckle slightly.

He smiled and joined Mr. Vernon at the window, looking out at the car. "I admit, the surveillance is a nuisance." He admitted, watching them, curious. He doubted this was approved by the warden, but perhaps it was by the director. "But at least they are obvious about it." Incredibly so. Perhaps he'd bring out a snack for them later, just to let them know that he knew that they were there.

The man smiled politely. "These two may be here for my safety, given the case, or to make sure I'm not up to something. It's about even odds given MCU." He didn't know for sure, hadn't been told of a protection detail assigned. "I will let you know what I find out."

"I'm sure they are only following orders." Louis added as he looked over at Mr. Hammerstine. "Again I appreciate that you will give me a call in case legal action needs to be taken or if you feel the need for my presence. Do not hesitate to get in touch with me."

It was with that said that the vampiric lawyer offered his farewells and departed from the manor. He had acquired his new employers trust and needed little more than that, besides his pay of course, in order to function. Louis walked up to his vehicle and drove past the MCU car only to get a good look at the vehicle one last time before leaving the driveway and speeding down the road.

Terun had returned, after so many years. He remembered this place vaguely. It was more empty than he remembered it, which was odd but not unheard of. Terun pouted as he flit rapidly from room to room.

"Hello?" He called out from the shadows, "Is anyone here anymore? I have some really good news..."

The boy-vampire had brought with him an envelope, sealed with wax, and he was oh so excited to give it to someone!

Terun Veillon has arrived, coming from Lessard Family Estate.
Terun Veillon has left the area, heading in into Lessard Mansion Veranda.

"Boy."

The vampiric lawyer wore his iconic black brioni suit with red tie and his polished dark full brogue shoes too boot. Louis Ancroft Vernon, The Prince of Montague's Gambit, revealed himself from one of the shadowy corner only to look down upon the vampiric child only to grimace at such a cruel joke. It however was not long before Louis took notice of the letter in hand or even the comment the child had made. He had only arrived to gather the last of his things but one last distraction couldn't have hurt.

"What tiding do you bring? What news did you wish to share? Your excitement is plainly plastered upon your face and I doubt anyone else is around to hear you."
