In a room full of crewmen manning their stations, and performing their duties, one stood out from the rest as he focused on his screen.
He noticed that the power draw from the main core was showing heightened readings. He tapped the flickering holographic screen thinking the readings were anomalous.
He grimaced, and then stood up from his station. The Bridge Officer would have to report this to his superiors for further investigation. Perhaps the null field was drawing too much power keeping the Anti-Tech field at bay? That didn't make sense, whatever suppressed technological development didn't stretch out this far.
