Physical Description
Momoko stands at roughly 5’ 5” and carries a slim figure. Appearing as no more than your average girl she maintains a sweet exterior and at times can be a little dainty in her ways. Perhaps fragile at times she doesn't let it stop her in the many attempts she makes to fit in! Her hair consists of a pale blonde shade and just manages to reach the tips of her shoulders. Often kept in a neat state, it cups her face nicely due it's shortness and style, and her eyes are of a light green tone that compliment her look overall. Most notably, Momoko can often be seen wearing kimonos daily in a variety of designs, as she opts to stick with a much more traditional sense of fashion compared to most others her age, for whatever reason.

"I dress a bit funny I guess, but that's my choice. Hey, I could lend you one of my kimonos? Think about it!"

Abilities | Powers
Element Manipulation | Though still learning this power, Momoko is able to manipulate the elements to her will. Both the weather and nature, she is able to conjure up thunder storms, rain showers and snow blizzards. Or, alternatively set of minor earthquakes as well as create small cracks in the ground. This ability needs a lot of concentration and strength to perform, and should her focus be broken there may be dreadful consequences.

"I'm still learning how to control this power, however what I hope to achieve is having sunny days everyday!"
Energy Absorption | Simply, Momoko is able to absorb the physical energy of others and harness that power, in turn using it as a powerful force to repel foes away. It takes the form of a green substance and projects from her hands, and the energy that she intakes can also be used to fuel her other abilities if she needs it. The 'force' itself it pretty powerful though takes a bit of strength to accurately use it and aim right for stronger hits.
"It has a bit of a kick to it really, I need to be completely focused to hit the bad guys!"
Health Restoration | A sub-power that allows Momoko to restore bits of health to her teammates. Though not full restoration, she can partly heal people and treat minor wounds. Temporarily numbing pain and controlling blood flow, she is useful in battle and can tend to people in the meantime before professional help comes. However, each performance requires a lot of physical energy so it is wise to not overwork her!
"I hate seeing people get hurt, so I will do all I can to help them to the best of my power."

History
Momoko was born into a humble family made up of her mother and father, the woman single-handedly running a small shop in their hometown whilst also serving part-time as a nurse to treat the locals now and again. The man however was a rather wise mage who taught in the neighbouring towns, which meant he was gone quite a lot of the time and the girl rarely saw her father bar occasional holidays and whenever he would surprise them with a visit. Most days, Momoko would follow her mother about town and help in treating the townsfolk if she could, as well as bury herself in her studies. The girl didn’t have many friends, just a few, but Momoko had the habit of prioritizing her studies above her companions.

When growing older it became apparent that the girl wished to follow on after her mother, hoping to train and become a nurse though only full-time and dedicate herself to her patients. But Momoko wasn’t the best mage around and that fact was apparent, more so after the time came for the girl to undergo exams to see if she qualified to become eligible to study medicine. Unfortunately she failed badly, and news of her father was unknown. Her mother was busier in time and over the passing months Momoko rarely left the house. The woman eventually sent her daughter to the Survival Kit Academy in hopes of bettering the girls skill, as well as ease her back into reality and socialize with her peers once more. Hopefully with confidence, in time Momoko would progress and finally achieve her dream of becoming a nurse and make some friends along the way!

"Here I am! I won't get discouraged... and I'll prove how good I really can be!"

Other
||Familiar||
Momoko has a small pet-familiar that she affectionately names, Sage. He is a small plant-demon creature that she summoned during her childhood and has always had him since. He offers little in the way of protection and causing harm, and is rather friendly and easily amused. Most times Sage can be found sat on the girl’s shoulder or amongst her kimono somewhere. He loves getting attention and given treats, Momoko tends to spoil him!

"He is my best friend! Very handy that he is also pocket-size!"

Memphis listened as Midora spoke though as to whether any of it really stuck in his mind was another thing entirely. The demon could be so stubborn at the best of times, only ever listening to his master though even that relationship wasn’t an entirely good one. However, two things certainly caught the demons attention. The first being the mages devotion to assist the Headmaster, as even though he may not say it so soon the dark mage had helped the demon on some level thus far into their partnership.

The other thing was by far more thought-consuming when Midora mentioned the Sage who would be coming to offer back-up for the two tonight. As if the higher-ups couldn’t have sent any other mage they had to send a water mage of some kind to annoy him. Was it on purpose? Did they wish to challenge the Headmaster? His face practically gave away ever inch of displeasure the demon felt towards the news, and as to how he would act tonight even Memphis wasn’t sure. "Great, just what I need." Be it for whatever reason Memphis hated water mages, and just in general all water-related things. Maybe it was out of instinct? He was a fire demon after all, and knew from personal experience how water could affect his powers. Just thinking of this water mage caused him to be uneasy for a moment.

Just then Midora also mentioned a change to one of the groups, a sigh quickly fleeing the lips of the demon in response. "Fine, fine I’ll take care of it. You may leave now, and I’ll be sure to see you tonight." He assured the mage before giving him a nod, watching as the man left the room at that moment. Quickly after though, the Headmaster also left the room soon after the mage though began to walk down the opposite corridor. He began to make his way down to the reception area and pick up the new mage for one of the groups.

Sometime after, Memphis was walking down one of the hallways as he lead the way. The blonde girl kept up behind him as the Headmaster found the student where he believed she was, and once realizing what the reason behind the sudden change was he made it a priority to ensure the girl was grouped with her teammates as soon as possible to avoid further issues. He really didn't need any more problems! However, granted the inconvenience irked him some, it was entirely the academy's fault.

Eventually the pair arrived at the cafeteria as such a place was always occupied by students and the Headmaster knew there was a high chance of finding one of the students he was currently searching for. Soon enough, at a table he noticed the rabbit-eared girl sitting and immediately lead the mage over to the table that the rabbit sat herself. Without meaning to surprise Kou, the Headmaster stood at the table and sat his hands against the table.

"I hope I am not intruding however a matter has come to my attention that needs to be seen to immediately," He explained briefly and looked to the rabbit. "Apparently this boy is not your intended mage, the academy has made an error and misplaced some students. Your rightful mage is actually Momoko, I do hope this inconvenience does not trouble you too much." Shooting a stare to the boy the man added, "You will come with me." Taking the boy by the shoulder Memphis raised him up from his seat gently, guiding the boy to the side before retuning his attention to the rabbit and mage-girl. "I would advise you show Momoko to her dorm so she can settle in and know her team better, if that isn’t too much trouble Kou." With that said he took his leave with the mage-boy and exited the cafeteria.

Momoko turned to look at the girl who had rabbit ears, just managing to hold back her eagerness to reach forth and pinch the fluffy bunny ears that tempted her so. Once the redhead had left the girl promptly dropped to her knees and onto the ground, before raising her hands to the air, and bending forward as she seemed to bow to the rabbit girl who sat. ”I-It is truly a pleasure to meet you Miss Rabbit, you are a very lovely looking demon and I cannot wait for us to get to know one another,” With her hands down flat against the ground, the girl peeked up at the girl known as Kou. ”My name is Momoko Sawada and I am a mage, I specialize in energy absorption and know a bit of elemental manipulation as well as health restoration. Though I am still learning them, but I would be happy to tell you anything else if you desired to know it? Feel free to ask!”

Sitting back up, the blonde girl gradually got onto her feet and upright once more. Turning a little she faced the rabbit directly, clasping her hands in front of her before tiling her head forward. ”I hope we get along well Miss Rabbit, I have heard a bit about you and I truly am fascinated by your… ears.” Giving said ears another adoring gaze the girl straightened herself again, fiddling with her kimono sleeves somewhat as Momo tried to think of something else to say. ”O-Oh yes, if you could show me to my dorm that would be much appreciated. I need to check if my belongings have arrived safely, and I’ve already eaten so I’m good to go when you are.” Waiting her response, Momo dropped her hands to her sides and gave the rabbit a friendly smile.

Kou had finished eating and she and Lapidus had been making polite conversation for the rest of the hour until Memphis approached with a blonde girl, stating that there was a mix up and this was in fact their mage. What was this? Some sort of test? Did they enjoy toying with a demon's emotions? Kou would not give them the satisfaction of seeing her frustrated, instead Kou closed her eyes, took in a breath and smiled at the girl who was so nervous she seemed to be tripping over her words. Or perhaps she had a stutter? And what was with all of the mages calling her lovely? Was that a human thing? Maybe they were just attracted to rabbit ears? "You're pretty cute yourself, Momoko-chan."

"It's nice to meet you. You can just call me Kou, Rabbit is my last name." the demon pushed her chair back and stood upright, brushing off a few stray crumbs that had fallen onto her lap during lunch. "I just finished so we can go now if you'd like?" Kou didn't wait for an answer as she suddenly remembered that Ruzik had wanted to meet her there. "I wonder what will happen to Lapidus..." The girl mused and began to head for the dorms. The Headmaster had seemed rather mad at the boy, as if the mage had pulled something. "So our other teammate, his name is Ruzik. He's a nice guy, just be careful around him because he gets these mood swings..." Kou trailed off, unsure of how to describe them. She figured Ruzik would introduce himself and say something about how she was unfit to be his mage or perhaps challenge the human. Or maybe he would act different because Momoko was a girl?

"Anyways, we're all here to learn so don't worry about not knowing a lot. Ah, here we are!" They had arrived faster then she had anticipated and Kou swung open the door to find her favorite Incubus waiting there. A pang in her chest made her heart beat faster as she looked at Ruzik and smiled. "This is our new mage," Kou stepped inside and out of the way so that Momoko could enter. The rabbit strode over to the incubus and trailed her fingers up his stomach, poking his chest. "But before you introduce yourself I believe there's something you need to tell me that I'm most anxious to hear."

Ruzik was slightly startled by the sudden opening of the door, narrowing his eyes a little when wondering who would enter so rudely. Though of course upon seeing Kou the boy brightened up his expression, feeling his inner excitement building up gradually. However the presence of an unfamiliar girl tugged at his curiosity, but Kou quickly introduced the blonde as their new mage. Another one? Shrugging, Ruzik was about to speak out his name though the rabbit bet him to it, cutting him off as she promptly asked for the thing she was anxious to hear.

Pouting, the incubus had prepared a whole speech dedicated to his little apology, but the rabbit was more eager than he had expected. Oh well. Ruzik knew they’d talk eventually, he’d be sure of that. He’d put too much thought into it that he wasn’t about to let his effort go to waste, however he didn’t wish to bombard their new mage just yet with their little problems. Especially when just meeting her. At that moment he rid his mind of such thoughts and looked to Kou in front of him, as he gently reached out and took hold of the girl before pulling her closer to him. He didn’t fancy blurting it out loud. But just loud enough so that only the rabbit would hear him.

”Fine,” He said softly, moving his face just more closely to hers. ”I’m… well… sorry, I’m sorry for doing those things that hurt you and caused you to not like me. I never want you to feel that way again, Kou. As the demon spoke he could feel himself becoming hotter, especially his face - maybe he was embarrassed? He better not have blushed! That would have been all he needed then. ”But we need to talk soon, I think you’ll want to hear what I have to say.”

Taking a deep breath he regained his composure, releasing the girl from his gentle grip. Hopefully that would satisfy her for now at least, lest she demanded more of him? Sliding off the bed, Ruzik got to his feet and moved round the rabbit before placing himself before their new mage. She was quite a cute girl, though clearly way more innocent that her other two teammates. How lovely. Putting on a smile the redhead approached the girl, bowing down his head just slightly before returning to his upright position.

”Hello there, I am Ruzik and it is a great pleasure to meet you.” Maintaining his sweet smile the demon stepped closer to the girl and wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her tightly as he practically lifted the mage off her feet! ”You are just the cutest thing I have ever seen, you’re so soft and cuddly, and I could just hug you all day long!” Spinning round, he kicked the door closed and then walked further into the room before setting the girl back down onto her feet. ”You are my new Mistress and I shall serve you to the best of my abilities – though I can only hope we become good friends soon, as I just can’t wait to get to know you better.”

Flashing a sharky-grin the incubus tried to upkeep his cute exterior, hoping the mage would buy his sweet little friendly act. Well. It wasn’t a total act, as Ruzik had remembered what Mikari had told him about forming a friendship with his mage. So maybe he ought to try it? Granted, some things were a bit too bizarre even for Ruzik sometimes. The demon didn’t even know if he actually wanted to be her friend, though knew that if he wanted to be treated differently then being the humble demon might pay-off in the long run. ”Now then Mistress, is there anything I can do for you? Or would you rather I call you Miss? Or even… what is your name, mage? Hey! If you told me, then together we could come up with some cute nicknames for each other? Now wouldn’t that be so much fun? Haha!”

Bugby sighed quietly after Ichiro questioned how his task went. Upholding his silence at that point the demon didn’t give an answer straight away, somewhat mentally fumbling his words as he tried to scrape together an answer. ”Well, actu--” He had lost track of his speech upon both witnessing and feeling Cleo up against him suddenly. Clearly the cat still didn’t take a hint to personal space, however her presence was a welcomed distinction at least. Though, when she too gave a brief mention to his task and the result which seemingly everyone was expected him to confess sooner or later, though the demon just tried to suppress it for as long as he could.

As expected, when Cleo took off she pulled the boy with her and directed the two towards the door. Apparently they were going to the cafeteria and the latter of their group would catch up after some wager he heard of, though was still clueless over it all. Either way, he soon found himself outside of the classroom with Cleo. ”H-Hold on Cleo, you know you don’t have to pull me everywhere? I can walk find on my own.” He remarked with a slight sulk, though really he was just dreading telling the group that he had lost. More so as it was basically a repeat of the earlier exercise, only without as much casualties.

”Anyway, we going to the cafeteria or what? I guess you need to stock up before you go on your mission?” Again, the demon was very glad he wasn’t going on the mission. Bugby couldn’t handle the exercises let alone something of that importance, so at least there was one relief for him today. ”I’m not really that hungry, but if you’re still going then I guess I don’t really have any other option but to tag along. Lead the way, cat-girl. Though Hive and Ichiro should be with us shortly… I imagine.”

Laurence Snow

Laurence looked to Etelka oddly as he sensed something off about the demon. Over the time he had known her, which was quite short with all things considered, he had actually grown use to her certain mannerisms. The demon had her own way of dealing with things, and despite showing little emotion during most times he had been with her, the girl appeared quite down form what he could gather.

”No, I don’t need anything.” Assuring her, the mage walked over slowly and sat himself down on the bed next to the demon. Tilting his head to view her better, the boy raised a questioning eyebrow towards her, though Etelka had her gaze focused firmly to the ground and head down. ”Is something… wrong?” Laurence asked with a tired sigh, his mind wondered as to what could be up with the demon. Usually she wasn’t like this, but it wasn’t as if he knew her truly that well. Was she having a bad day?

Pulling his legs up, the boy got onto his knees and moved himself around to the back of the demon. Raising himself upwards he draped himself over the girl, wrapping his arms around her shoulders as he pulled her into a hug of some kind. ”Won’t you just look at me? I’m not that stupid, I know when you’re trying to avoid staring at me.” Lacking his natural cuddly tone, the boy sounded quite serious as he spoke to the demon. Clearly he wanted her to look at him, if anything it may put an end to her weird behavior if she just be open with him.

Releasing the girl he leaned back and rested on his knees again, before flopping down onto the bed and laying on his back. ”Etelka, Etelka, Eteeelllkkkaaaa... Etelka!” Laurence repeatedly called in a rather irritating manner, perhaps the mage may have gotten a bit more annoying due to losing his light element, however what was worse in his opinion was having Etelka avoiding eye contact with the mage. Had he done something wrong? Reaching over and up he grabbed a bit of her sleeve and gave it a few tugs. ”How about I do something for you? Like, are you hungry? I could get us some food, or… what about cleaning? I could clean something for you. I’ll do anything Etelka if you’ll just look at me, how about it? Bet it's not often a dark mage makes that offer, huh?”

Momoko Sawada

Momoko happily followed he rabbit girl as the female lead the way to the dorms. She didn’t even have to think twice and merely followed, presuming that was what the demon was doing. Along the way however Kou had spoke of their other teammate, Ruzik. His name sounded a bit odd but was also quite interesting too, which caused the blonde girl to ponder briefly over what sort of fellow this demon was. It took very little time at all before the pair arrived at their room and entered, upon arrival quickly Momoko noticed a boy with red hair sitting on one of the beds.

Before she could get his name Kou walked over to the male and spoke to him, the both of them having some conversation that only their ears could hear. Sighing, the girl nervously tapped her fingers against her stomach whilst she stood and glanced over the room that she would be sharing with these two. Shortly after their conversation the boy approached her, confirming that his name was Ruzik. Giving a nod in response Momoko was about to offers hers before the demon wrapped his arms around her and scooped her up. ”R-Ruzik.” The girl blushed fiercely as their bodies were so close, she hadn’t really expected such a friendly welcome but she valued it all the same.

With her world spinning round slightly she heard the door closing behind her, before Ruzik placed her further into the room and sat her to her feet once more. Gathering her bearings she looked to the redhead, baring a wide smile to him with a look of fascination about her. He was so kind and friendly, was this really the demon who had mood swings? Momoko was beginning to wonder. ”My name is Momoko, though you can just call me Momo? Or whatever little nickname you can think of, I’d love to hear it! But, uh… thank-you Ruzik, but you need not call me Mistress unless you really want to.”

Bowing to the demon she leaned her upper body forward a little, moments later pulling back from the redhead. ”It is very nice to meet both of you, each of you are such wonderful demons and I look forward to spending time with you as a team.” Sneaking a glance elsewhere, Momoko noticed that her belongings seemed to have arrived safely which caused a sigh of relieve to her. At last now she had her things, so everything should be fine now. ”I’m sure I will settle in just fine here, though please don’t make any effort on my behalf. I really prefer no fuss, haha.”

Walking over to a bag that was sat on top of a set of drawers the mage looked through it at once, rummaging around before pulling out a fresh kimono and some towels, and whatever else she could carry at that moment. Once taking everything she needed out the girl turned to the two demons and gave them another bow, ”If you could excuse me, I think I would like to take a shower first. I have been travelling all day and feel quite dirty, and I’d hate to gross you guys out. So if you wouldn’t mind I’ll just nip into the bathroom and take a quick shower. Thank-you.” With that said she walked back over and then stood at the bathroom door, opening it and setting her things inside. However, she quickly turned back round and looked to the demons, especially Ruzik as he was a boy.

With a slight blush she quietly added, ”N-No peeking please, and t-thank-you.” With that she ducked back into the bathroom and closed the door, locking it even before tending to her shower and leaving the demons to themselves.

Kou had known he would be reluctant, she hadn't expected his words to be so genuine though. A small smile managed to sneak its way onto her lips and Kou kissed Ruzik's cheek, "I forgive you." The rabbit said and sat on the bed when he released her from his grip. He was oddly gentle in that moment and thinking about it made Kou's hair turn pink. She wondered what else Ruzik wanted to tell her but didn't ask it seemed to be something he could not say in front of their new mage. It had been very rude of the rabbit to simply toss Momoko aside like that, it was very strange of Kou to act like that so she was very glad to see that Momoko had made it to the room alright and she hadn't left the girl in the dust.

The rabbit sighed as Ruzik ran to their mage, declaring her to be the cutest thing ever and proclaiming his loyalty to her. This was a surprise that managed to raise both of the demon's eyebrows. It wasn't like him to act so friendly towards a human, was it possible this strange behavior was a side effect of the pills? Kou leaned her head on her hands and watched the two, glad that Ruzik seemed happy. He had been acting off lately so it was nice to see him enjoying himself. Unless he was simply putting on an act for the mage's sake? Oh no! What if this was the work of Mikari's charm!

It was at the mention of coming up with cute nicknames that Kou could no longer hold back her laughter and she giggled, standing up and making her way over to the two. "My, my aren't we eager." She stated rhetorically, her hair returning to its normal blue. "If we're coming up with cute nicknames for each other then I'll call you Koko-chan and you Ruru," Kou did not use formal titles for Ruzik as she had known him far too long. The rabbit tilted her head to the side in a most adorable way, causing one of her ears to flop over, "but only if that's okay with both of you." Seemingly just noticing the kimono Kou realized that their mage was from the orient as well.

This came as a wonderful surprise as Kou would like to know how much the country had changed during her time on the shrine. "Don't worry, I'll make sure Ruzik stays away from that door." Kou promised as the female disappeared into the bathroom, it seemed as though that conversation would have to wait. Kou turned to the incubus and gave him a look that said, don't even think about going in there. The expression melted away almost as soon as it had come, replaced by her normal, pleasant smile. "So what was the other thing you wanted to talk about? Or would you like to go somewhere else to discuss it?"

Kou wondered if he remembered her promise, that as soon as he apologized she would give him what he wanted. Her gaze swept across the room and towards the open closet where she noticed her things hanging up. Who had moved her belongings? And if they moved her dresses did that mean they had touched her other things as well? Undergarments, toothbrush, shampoo (the conditioner was still lost between space and time from yesterday's accident). The thought of someone's grubby hands all over her belongings was a bit disturbing and she wasn't sure how she had come to this conclusion when Kou's previous thoughts had been about her promise to the Incubus.

Ruzik pouted when the mage disappeared into the bathroom, asking that no one peek however for some strange reason he felt that warning was more directed at him than anyone else. To confirm it Kou flashed him a look which basically told him everything he needed to know, unsurprisingly. ”As if I would, besides the doors locked anyway so I can’t get in.” He said with a small grin, before moving himself over and sitting back down on the bed again. When Kou asked what it was he wanted to talk about the redhead tilted his head to the side and looked to the rabbit. She was busy looking at the closet though as to what she was thinking he couldn’t guess, but to break the small silence he eventually spoke up. ”No, here is fine – I don’t really fancy walking about, and besides I don’t want to leave our mage. I happen to quite like her, for some reason.”

Smiling, he pushed himself off the bed and walked over to the rabbit-girl. Standing in front of her the demon raised his hands up and placed them against her hips, waiting to see what sort of reaction he got. Earlier the girl had removed his hands due to not apologizing, so Ruzik wondered if now he was allowed to get close to Kou again. He didn’t want to be too forward surprisingly, so he’d take it slow and see what happened. ”What I wanted to talk about was… that I don’t want us to be broke-up like we are, I want to be with you again Kou and make things better between us.” He spoke in a quiet voice and widened his smile a little, whilst looking directly at the girl and secretly desiring her to agree with him. He figured she would, didn’t she want to be with him? Of course she did. ”I really didn’t mean what I said and… maybe you weren’t to blame as much as I was, but seeing you kiss Ichiro really hurt me. You’re too good for that mage and he doesn’t deserve you, not like I do. I deserve you, I need you. I don't want anyone else to have you.”

Sliding his hands up Ruzik pulled Kou closer to him and hugged the girl, to the point that their faces were just inches apart. ”If you could stop trying to make me jealous, I’ll try to not sleep around. I swear I’ll try this time, if it means you not going off with other guys. I really, really, really will try. If you take me back I'll be committed, and I'll kick all my bad habits... whatever they are. Promise!” Of course he never expected Kou to out-right believe him, even a part of Ruzik doubted himself. Maybe the fact that he was an incubus meant nothing to his infidelities but breaking lifelong habits were not going to be as easy as he made them out to be. ”I’ll try to be better and be good, and get some control over myself. But I need you to help me, Kou.” Grinning at the moment he looked to the girl and quietly whispered, ”After all your my little snuggle-bunny, so what do you say?”

Maybe he was trying too hard, or was he not trying enough? Ruzik wasn’t known to bare his feelings so openly but perhaps he had to, to prove to the rabbit how much he was serious even if Ruzik wasn’t entirely sure of himself. Would she believe his promises? Perhaps not entirely, as the incubus had the nasty reputation for breaking said promises quite easily. ”I remember your promise, so you know. But it’s alright, we don’t have to do anything. I’m sure that’s what you’d prefer, right?” It almost pained Ruzik to say that, such a statement went against every fiber of his body and contradicted his nature so much, even the redhead couldn’t quite forgive himself for saying such a thing. Besides, what if their mage caught them? A sudden smirk filled his lips as he confidently added, ”Since I'd hate to tire out that little body of yours and I doubt you could handle me right now. But don't feel bad, rabbit. All girls are the same, sadly. He slyly challenged.

Hearing that Ruzik liked their mage and wasn't faking it was quite pleasant, so his good mood had been genuine! Kou was going to sit on the bed when he walked over and put his hands on her hips. A smile danced across her lips as he spoke, saying how he no longer wanted to be broken up. Kou was so happy to see that he was finally acknowledging the fact that he hurt her and that his actions had been wrong. A laugh erupted from her about the mention of Ichiro, figures he would hold a grudge about it. "Don't hate Ichiro because of that, he's not a bad person once you get to know him." Although Kou didn't know him all that well yet and it was odd for her to admit that a human could be semi-decent. Maybe the school was changing both of them?

"I want to be with you Ruzik," Kou said and reached up to stroke his cheek. "Honestly trying not to cry when you said we were through was so hard," the rabbit admitted and bit her lip. The rabbit allowed her hands to fall to her side once more. She did not expect him to make more promises, honestly they seemed as empty as the others but Kou allowed herself a bit of hope. Ruzik was clearly trying hard to change for the better. "I promise I'll help you, even if it's something as simple as getting you lollipops from the cafeteria to curb your hunger." That didn't mean she would fulfill his every whim though. In her heels she wasn't quite as tall as him and Kou reached up to give him a peck on a lips.

"And I promise that I won't go kissing anymore mages." Honestly Ichiro's kiss had been kind of dull. There were no fireworks and he had been so surprised that he hardly kissed back. The tips of her ears turned red at the mention of the promise she had made earlier and Kou's hair turned pink, giving her position away completely. Damn her magical color changing hair! "Unlike you I keep my promises," the rabbit quipped, realizing that he was attempting to challenge her. "I told y-you to come to me to take care of any of your u-urges and I-I meant it." Kou stuttered a bit and looked away, her cheeks turning pink. Even with the addition of a challenge she couldn't keep from blushing.

"If you want something just ask for it." Kou turned and grabbed Ruzik by the shirt, pulling him close and locking lips. The rabbit stepped back, bringing him with her so that when she fell back onto the bed he was on top of her. When she finally released him so that they could breath a wide smile was dancing on her lips. She was pink from the tips of her ears to the fur on her tail. "Not all girls are rabbits." Kou said in response to his earlier comment, turning the negative connotation into something positive.

Laurence gave the girl a smile in returned when seeing her raise from the bed, feeling more relieved that the demon was over her little moment. Really, it just pleased him to see her old self returning. Watching Etelka making her way over to the desk and fixing her hair, the mage slowly got to his feet and moved off the bed. To the mentioning of his mission the boy quickly remembered and looked to the book, before walking over to the desk and picking the item up in his hands.

”Oh yeah, Mr. Kurayami gave me this book to practice some spells if I wanted, that or I could rest until I’m needed,” He said and turned to Etelka, though the boy couldn’t help but rethink over what the older mage had told him during their earlier meeting at that moment. Much of it wasn’t pleasant to hear, though by what Laurence could assume most of it was very true. ”Apparently I have the most important job for the mission, I have to seal with window. The thing that brings the monsters into our world… that’s what I need to close.”

Laurence looked a little worried at that moment, mainly due to the pressure he was beginning to feel towards the assignment for that night. What if he messed up? What if something went wrong? He didn’t like to think of failing, especially when it was as important as his role for the mission. Towards the thought he raised his hand up a little, just then noticing his slight shaking. ”Guess I must be more nervous than I thought… maybe I should rest and relax before tonight, otherwise I’ll just be a mess when the time comes.” Sighing quietly, a thought then came to him, to which he then asked the demon, ”Oh, would it be alright if I borrowed your wand for tonight? In case I need it.”

The boy had no clue as to what else he would need for the exercise, though bringing the wand with him should help in case he came into contact with monsters. Plus, he always had his abilities to fall back on should things get too troublesome, though hopefully not. ”Anyway,” He spoke up and looked about the room. ”I’ll look over the spells later since I have a headache at the moment. For now though, bed sounds good.” Raising his arms up and stretching lightly, Laurence headed over to the bed again and sat down on it. He was about to drop backwards until something occurred to the boy, ”Oh sorry, is this your bed? Mine must be one of the ones above? I didn't realize until now.”

Momoko wasted little time in hopping into the shower and turned it on, embracing the sudden warmth as the hot water touched her flesh. It was a welcomed feeling to be clean again, not that she was overly dirty to begin with however the girl would never refuse a shower, if given the chance. Once cleansed, Momoko carefully stepped back out and wrapped a soft towel around herself quickly. When dried and redressed in her fresh kimono, the mage folded up her old clothes and hung them over her arm.

When stood behind the door Momoko hesitated to open it, unintentionally hearing the two demons speaking of something that seemed quite personal. She tried to not get involved and occupy her mind for the new few minutes, before setting her hand to the handle and pushing forward on the door. Peering round, the girl then saw the two figures on the bed, with Ruzik on top of Kou. ”Oh I’m sorry, did you want some privacy?” She asked with a tint of red to her cheeks. Momoko didn’t want to intrude on the pair, however when believing things had quieted down she never expected to interrupt their moment.

Stepping forward and closing the door behind her, the mage awkwardly walked across the room and put away her unused clothes away in a drawer. Spinning round to face the two demons again, she bowed her head forward towards them. ”I deeply apologize for my intrusion, I didn't mean to.” Straightening herself up, she added, ”I-I couldn’t help but overhear some of what you said… a-and I must say it was truly sweet, very heartfelt.” Dropping her head to the side a little the girl viewed the pair of demons curiously, unable to suppress her nosiness as she went on to further ask, ”So, are you partners? Boyfriend and girlfriend? Husband… and wife? Sorry, maybe I misinterpreted.”

Prompting herself into motion, the girl then went about checking that her other belongings had arrived at the room. With a few quick checks in the other drawers it seemed everything had been put away, much to the mages relief. ”I’m sorry, it’s not my place to pry into your business.” She said moments after, when sitting herself down on the chair next to the desk and turning to face the demons. ”If I ever get too nosey please tell me off, I probably deserve it, haha.”

Ruzik was surprised by the rabbit’s sudden kiss, not that he was complaining however as he welcomed the contact and followed her lead over onto the bed. When on top of Kou and after the parting of their lips, the incubus was left catching his breath as he gazed down at the girl beneath him. ”When you said I could come to you for my urges… you meant at least three or four times a day, right?” He asked in-between a few quick breaths before leaning down closer to her and whispered in a teasing tone, ”And that’s just for the mornings.

Sliding his knee in-between her legs the incubus pushed himself up a little with his hands, getting a better view of the rabbit as he shot a cocky smirk down at her. ”You really are so easy to read, did I ever tell you how much I just love your hair?” Kou was always so adorable whenever her hair turned pink, it gave the demon a sense of pleasure and achievement when he managed to unsettle her, and it was always very amusing to watch and use in his favor. ”You are so cute, so sweet… so innocent.

Raising a hand up, he pressed a finger just below her neck before slowly dragging it down along her body. When reaching her things he stopped himself, sliding his hand under her skirt before ascending it upwards. ”You know what I want? I wan--” Before he could finish his little request the redhead lost his concentration momentarily as the bathroom door opened at that moment, a voice soon following which he quickly recognized to be Momoko. At first Ruzik merely shrugged off the interruption and regained his cool, ”Hardly – I don’t necessarily need privacy to get the job done, heh.” Whether she knew what he meant or not, he'd find out soon.

Looking back to Kou the demon was about to pick up where he left of, resuming his position above her, however another sudden burst of noise came from the mage-girl which created a brief halt to the incubus's advancements. It wasn’t so much the fact she was talking that put him off, but rather what the girl had said which caused the redhead to hop off the rabbit hastily and get to his feet. ”Wait, you heard all that?” Rising a questioning brow towards the girl, the demon forgot himself for a brief moment as the old Ruzik snapped to the mage in a threatening manner, ”You dare tell anyone what I said and you’ll bloody regret it, do you understand me? Mage. Revealing such feelings to Kou was one thing, however to have that fact known by others was not something Ruzik wished for. He didn't want others knowing of his soft side. But surely that was normal, right? No one could blame him for that.

Just as quickly the incubus flipped again, returning to his cool demeanor once more. Forcing a smile he tried to forget that little moment, soon forming a grin on his lips as he continued with, ”Oh please, as if I’d marry her? For your information we’re not that serious. He then casted a gaze to Kou and gave her a cheeky wink, ”We’re just a bit of fun. Though not exactly his bad self like he was moments ago, the demon wasn’t entirely his sweet self either. Ruzik was, well, Ruzik at that point. There wasn’t as much of a need to continue acting as much as he had been, since he had already achieved what he wanted from Kou more or less which was to regain their relationship together, and he’d definitely fulfill that promise of hers later tonight! Now that he had that, why should he still be all nicey-nicey?

It wasn't as if the demon was being un-genuine. He wanted to be with Kou more than anything, and his words were spoken truthfully when saying he wanted to change for the better. However, Ruzik wasn't exactly perfect. He was very much set in his ways of manipulation, or rather, his moods were very chaotic at the best of times. He never quite knew who he really was sometimes.

Kou knew what she was getting into and yet Ruzik never ceased to spring more surprises on her that made her cheeks turn red and her hair an even lighter pink. "Are you questioning my ability to please?" Kou asked as she trailed her fingers across his chest. The rabbit repressed a snort when he called her innocent. Ruzik had seen the things she had done, she was far from innocent. She squirmed a little as he removed his hands from her chest and went under her skirt, Kou had never done anything like this before, it was new and exciting and over in an instant when their mage finished her shower and burst through the bathroom door. Oh right, she's here too. The rabbit thought, wondering if there was some higher power that didn't want her and Ruzik in the same bed.

"Ruzik!" Kou hit him playfully against the shoulder as he mentioned being able to get the job done with an audience. Maybe he could but this was her first time and Kou didn't know if she'd be able to do it with someone watching. Could her cheeks get any redder? At this point they must have been the same color as her eyes. "It's alright Momo-chan," Kou sat up when Ruzik got off of her and went to threaten the human over her comment. Quick as a fox-er-bunny, the rabbit sprung to her feet at the Mage's defense. "There's no need to make such threats." Kou wrapped her arms around the girl protectively. "And if he does try to hurt you, I'll protect you." Kou said to Momoko and released the human from her hug.

"Mine and Ruzik's history is long and complicated, you could say we're partners." Kou leaned her head on Ruzik's shoulder and smiled. She was fine with this status, the rabbit always had been. A thousand years had gone by and the only suitable character she had come by was the incubus and even then they were always at each other's throats.

"I have an idea, why don't we play a game to get to know one another better?" Kou suggested. They hadn't been able to do that with the previous two mages who had come and gone faster then Kou could say the word human. The demon bit her thumbnail, thinking of an ice breaker they could play when an idea struck her. "I think there's a game called Never have I ever, you put up ten fingers and everyone says something they've never done and whoever has done it puts a finger down. The winner is whoever has the most fingers up at the end of the game." She knew Ruzik would find this dull so the rabbit added, "to make it more interesting we can bet something."

Momoko flinched a little as Ruzik threatened her, somewhat. Clearly he didn’t like the fact that she had heard what he said before, but the mage wasn’t going to go spreading it around anytime soon. Just as quick Kou jumped to her defense and wrapped her arms around the girl. Momoko looked to the demon and gave her a reassuring smile. ”No need to worry Kou, I-I’ll be fine.” Once released, the mage turned to the boy and gave him a quick bow, listening to what the rabbit said further whilst doing so, before adding, ”I-I’m sorry for upsetting you, but rest assured I would never tell anyone what either you or Kou say within this room. We are friends, right? O-Or at least I hope we will be, all of us.”

Straightening herself upwards quickly, Momoko looked to the pair of demons and gave another smile. ”Well, whatever you two are I’m happy for you.” Not long after Kou suggested playing a game to help in getting to know each other. Momoko liked the idea and nave the rabbit a nod in agreement, believing that through getting to understand her teammates better then maybe the three would function better, and any little mishaps could be otherwise avoided.

”Why don’t I start us off?” She said and knelt down onto the floor, tucking the ends of her kimono under her legs before holding both hands up in front of her. Of course Kou had said that they could bet something to make the game more interesting, however Momoko wasn’t exactly the betting type and she was struggling to come up with something. Though that didn’t mean she wouldn’t eventually think of something, for the sake of having some fun with her demons. ”I will withhold my bet until I hear both of yours, as then I’ll know what I’m up against.” Ruzik definitely seemed the sneaky type, and there was something about Kou that suggested she could be similar to the other demon. Momoko didn’t want to come across as a simple mage so she would play the demons at their own game, per say.

Waiting for the demons to sit themselves down Momoko in the meantime began to mentally ponder over what to say first. She figured that demons were like humans, in that they must share the same experiences? She wasn’t exactly sure, and was a bit nervous when thinking of what to say to kick the game off. Taking a deep breath she chose something, hopefully it would gain her an early lead to victory over the pair.

”Alright, here we go!” She said, eying each demons carefully for a moment before adding, ”Let's try this one for starters, alright? My first one will be... Never have I ever wet the bed!” It'd be interesting to see how the demons reacted to such a thing, since it was a little odd. Not to mention what they'd ask in return. ”And remember you have to be honest, all of the time. No cheating!”

Ruzik sighed a little when hearing Kou warning him off, which was then followed by an apology of some kind from the mage. Maybe he had acted a little too hastily. ”It’s fine, I overreacted a bit,” He said with a slight shrug. ”But thanks.” It was nice to know that Momoko had some loyalty to her, it made his life a bit easier knowing that. ”You shouldn’t worry, if I ever do step out of line too much Kou won’t hesitate to put me in my place – if anything I should be more afraid, heh. And sure we could be… friends.

Trying to lighten the situation Ruzik then turned to Kou beside him, as the girl said they were partners. It was a fitting way to describe them as the two were rather partners in crime, so the incubus couldn’t really complain and merely gave a nod. His interest was piqued when the rabbit said she had an idea, a game more precise which would presumably help in getting to know one another better. However when hearing of what it was exactly the demon wasn’t exactly thrilled at it, the whole never have I ever not really grasping at his enthusiasm. But then, as if knowing him too well, Kou then said that they could bet something to make things more interesting.

Momoko seemed keen to get things started as the mage kicked the game off. ”Sure, start us off Momo.” Grinning, the redhead sat himself down onto the floor across from the mage and got comfortable. Just then the girl stated she would not say her bet until hearing what the demons were, a statement which both intrigued and amused the incubus. Whilst Momoko seemed to be thinking over what to say, Ruzik too thought briefly over what exactly he would bet. It had to be something worthwhile, and knowing him it wasn’t going to be anything innocent either.

”Fine, I bet that if I win then I get to have some fun with our mage, just a little bit.” Pushing his luck perhaps, Ruzik thought it would be fun to test out their mage in his own little way. Unable to suppress a wicked grin the incubus looked pretty smug at that moment, ”Your bets are your choice, ladies. I'll do anything. At least now he had motivation to win, and with that in mind there was no way Ruzik would lose. When Momoko spoke next the incubus immediately looked to the girl and gave her a look, as if challenging her. Raising both hands up he awaited her first never have I ever to see what it would be. But what she went on to say was something he hadn’t been expecting.

Bed wetting? Oh great, and he had to be honest? Though initially resistant to give in, Ruzik figured he might as well play fairly for now and maybe the girls would be sympathetic on the incubus. He hoped. Slowly but surely he dropped a finger and his once confident look faded ever so slightly. ”Alright fine, yes, I had a lot of… accidents when I was younger.” He said with a pout, before very quickly adding, ”B-But I don’t do it now, so don’t look at me weird! I’m over it. Totally. Don't you dare spread that around! Anyway.

Wishing to change the subject and move the focus off him, Ruzik waited until Kou gave her response to Momo's question before soon after saying with a grin, ”My turn, and for my go… how about… Never have I ever wore girls underwear.” A tactical response perhaps, since he was the only guy it would make sense that he would use such a thing – since he was against two girls after all.

Kou was so glad they agreed to her game! A smile lit up her face as Momoko spoke, saying she would not say her bet until she heard theirs. Then Ruzik spoke, stating that if he won he would get to have a bit of fun with their mage. Kou tried hard not to role her eyes. Figures that five minutes after apologizing he would pull a move like that. She settled for shaking her head, glad he at least agreed to play.

"If I win then one you has to buy me dinner." She winked and took Momoko's hand, settling herself on the floor beside the mage and incubus. For the rabbit dinner usually meant carrots. She wasn't going to bet something big and there was really nothing else the demon wanted.

Kou wasn't sure whether to put a finger down or not. As a human she had never wet herself or the bed, but as a rabbit she had no other place to go. So should she put a finger down? The rabbit thought hard about this and decided for the sake of winning that she would keep her fingers up especially since Kou did not know what kind of dirty tricks Ruzik was going to pull. "Don't worry," Kou assured Ruzik. "What happens in the dorm stays in the dorm," he pulled his trick then and Kou was forced to forced to put a finger down. "That's cheap," the rabbit pouted.

"Fine, my turn. Never have I ever eaten a heart, human or animal." She smiled, knowing at least one who would be forced to put a finger down. As for Momoko Kou wasn't sure, she had heard of people eating chicken hearts, apparently it was a delicacy in some places.

Laurence smiled at the girl as she handed him a cup of water, which he happily accepted and took a few sips out of. The water was refreshing to drink, and it did make him feel just slightly better though Laurence knew it was best to not focus on anything too much and get some rest.

”Thanks.” Getting up, he walked over and sat the glass down against the desk. If he needed it he knew where to find it, and after turning back round the boy returned to the bed though only the time climbed up the small set of stars to the side and made his way up to the middle bunk. ”Rest sounds good I guess, so I’ll sleep here then.” Once on top of the bed he lay against it flat on his back, fatigue overtaking him though the boy was persistent to fight it for a few more minutes. ”Oh, and thanks for the wand. I’ll try to not over use it and not take in so much blood, and I’ll defiantly keep it away from you in the meantime.” Rubbing his hands against his eyes the boy yawned at that moment, before half-attempting to prop himself up a little to look at the demon. ”I-I could still… stay awake if… you want to still talk?”

Despite what he said Laurence flopped back down against the bed, his eyes slowly drawing closed regardless of what little efforts he made to force them open. Rolling onto his side he faced the girl, though his eyes still remained closed over. ”So… you’ll be ok… when I’m… gone tonight?” He knew she would be, the demon would likely just stay in the dorm for all he could guess. As long as she was content that was all he cared for, that and making sure he would return back to her in the morning. ”I-I’m sure you… will be.”

Momoko blushed fiercely when Ruzik confessed his bet, though unsure of what he meant by fun exactly, the mage wasn’t entirely comfortable with the idea as his tone suggested that it wasn't entirely innocent. His grin didn't help matters. ”D-Don’t I get a say? I-I don’t think that would be appropriate.” Fiddling with the ends of her sleeves somewhat nervously, the girl pushed the thought aside and returned her attention onto the game. Although, Kou had also given her bet, which quite frankly was much more preferred compared to the other demons. Dinner was such a nice thought, the girl partly hoped that the rabbit won if not herself.

Ruzik had put a finger down, though Kou hadn’t. Towards the redheads question however the girl pouted ever so slightly and dropped a finger down, hardly unable not to. ”T-That’s not exactly fair, Ruzik.” When Kou spoke up afterwards, Momoko tilted her head slightly in mild thought, however she didn’t put down a finger. ”Thankfully I don’t eat hearts, they’re gross. Be it of an animal or human I can't say I'm partial to them, then again I don't eat a lot of meat, haha.”

Though Momoko thought it was a slightly unusual thing to say, she didn’t think much else of it and quickly focused on her next thing to say as it was her turn once more. ”Back to me I guess,” Smiling, the mage paused for a moment before continuing, ”Oh, I guess I should reveal my bet now? Hm… I think I’ve decided that if I win then… I get to dare each of you to do something, anything. Tonight.” Having finally decided, she then thought of what to say after that, which was concluded with, ”Never have I ever been kissed by a boy.” She tried her best not to blush, but it was truly one of few things she could think of that would aid her in winning, maybe. She figured Kou would have though Ruzik was another story, he wasn't that predictable, and really she didn't fancy having any sort of fun with him.

Ruzik frowned somewhat when Kou spoke, clearly it was aimed at him due to what he had said earlier. Yet again he was forced to put down another finger, much to his displeasure. ”That’s hardly fair.” Clearly oblivious to his own dirty tricks, Ruzik never liked it when others done the same to him. Quite the hypocrite he was. Trying to be grown-up about it the demon resisted the temptation to whine about it, opting to focus his gaze onto the mage as she spoke. Apparently the girl wasn’t keen on hearts, what a pity. Ruzik could never understand why others disliked hearts and found the act of consuming them disgusting. Then again he knew no different and it wasn’t likely he’d change his habits so quickly.

”Hearts are wonderful.” He said, simply making a point before letting out a slight sigh. When the mage finally decided to reveal her bet in all honesty it intrigued Ruzik, maybe the mage had a fun side after all? Hopefully. So she wanted to dare them? He could accept that, almost looking forward to it however he wouldn’t give up on his own little bet so quickly.

With a new-found sense of enthusiasm the incubus appeared more interested in the game, eagerly waiting what the blonde girl would say next. And then she did, her words very much effecting the incubus in a way that was not that surprising. ”You’ve never kissed a boy before?” With his eyes visibly lighting up with wonder, the demon edged himself forward a little to gaze at the female. Never?

Within a blink of the eye the incubus had already bounced on the poor mage, knocking her back against the floor as he sat on top of the girl and stared down at her with greedy eyes. ”I can fix that, my dear sweet mage. I am your demon and shall fulfill your every desire – you’ll never miss out on any experience with me under your control, Momo.” Perhaps loosing himself slightly, the incubus suddenly had the desire to feel the pure lips of his mage, and make them… un-pure.

With his impulsiveness getting the better of him and his old nature playing up, and maybe he was a little desperate just then, Ruzik leaned down and pushed his lips against the girls and forced her into his lustful kiss. A moment when pulling back however, the incubus didn’t appear satisfied. Actually, he looked confused and maybe even a little disappointed. ”That was... terrible. Here, let me try that again!”

Kou was sort of relieved to hear that the mage didn't eat that much meat. It was reassuring, as though she would not have to keep one eye open for fear of being eaten. A silly notion yes, but that is how most rabbits live and Kou doubted she was going to break the cycle. "Alright, that sounds fair." The gloves were off, all bets had been presented and now things were truly getting excited.

Kou put a finger down when Momoko spoke once more for her turn. Guilty. She had kissed Ruzik multiple times and Ichiro once. Kou sighed, she and Ruzik had two fingers down; it appeared their mage was winning. Ruzik seemed to be awfully intrigued by the fact that Momoko had never kissed a boy before. Did that mean she liked girls? Kou wondered but before she had a chance to act Ruzik forced himself onto the girl. Kou's eyes widened, a painful pang resounding in her chest. "Okay, game's over. Momoko wins, yay!" Kou pulled Ruzik away from the girl, an arm wrapped around his throat.

"Ten minutes, congratulations you've set a new record for the fastest promise broken." Kou didn't know why she continued to allow him to do this. She set the incubus on the bed and placed her hands on her hips, "Ruzik if there is no consent that means it's rape. Even if it's just a kiss." She shook her head and looked back at Momoko, "I'm so sorry about this asshole forcing himself onto you like that." Kou bowed, attempting to apologize for the redhead who was no doubt oblivious about the fact that he had just raped a little girl.

"As for you," Kou turned back to Ruzik and shook her head. "Sometimes I don't know why I put up with you. I'm not going to tell Memphis or Mikari," Kou was not a tattle tale. "But if Momoko wants to I'm not going to stop her." Kou turned to the human once more, "I understand if you feel uncomfortable with being our mage." Her emotions were completely justifiable, Kou could not put herself in Momoko's shoes because she had never been forcefully kissed like that, but Kou would support Momoko to the best of her ability.

The time for the mission to commence was slowly drawing nearer and the Headmaster was visibly edgy as result, mostly out of the irksome feeling he was bothered by due to knowing that soon he would possibly come across a water mage. Regardless he couldn’t dwell on it long as he had been busy sorting a few things out before the group left tonight for the mission, mainly assuring that order would still be established in his absence from the academy and in turn meaning that Memphis would have to try and put some faith in both Mikari and Sarah to keep a handle on things.

Since there would be a handful of students left in the academy from his class it was only to be expected that the teachers would need to keep an eye on them and assure no trouble arose. Those students consisted of Kou, Ruzik, Momoko, Etelka, Bugby and Liliane. However, the students were free of any exercises for tonight. They had gone through enough for one day and so were granted free time for the remainder of the night till their other classmates returned and normality was restored. Hopefully they would enjoy their time and not waste it, though given the small few who were left, Memphis didn’t entirely believe things would be smooth sailing.

With a slight sigh escaping his lips the demon rose to his feet and sidestepped round his desk. Pushing a finger against the intercom he turned the small machine on and then began to make an announcement, "First year students of the Headmasters class, this is just a reminder that you are expected to arrive by 10 pm for your mission tonight. We meet at the Academy Entrance – Do not be late! I will be there personally to meet you so I'll know! Oh, and make sure you are ready, and be prepared. That's all!"

It was short and sweet, and to the point. Memphis wasn’t one to drag things out and really all he cared for was to ensure those selected students arrived on time, and didn’t keep him waiting. Those students of course were Laurence, Dúyè, Muse, Cleo, Ichiro and Hive. An odd bunch though perhaps one that could work together, or not. Either way, Memphis would not accept failure from his students so easily. He expected their cooperation. Whether he had to force it out of them though was another matter entirely.

In the meantime the demon went about tending to any unfinished business he had before that night. He made it a priority to track both Mikari and Sarah down and ensure they were up for minding the other students. Their jobs were simple - just watch over the students. He had not given direct orders to the teachers, other than to keep students in line, naturally. That, and to intervene where appropriate. Beyond that was up to them so long as the students got along, Memphis cared little as to how they dealt with the students. And keep certain individuals from killing one another.

Time-Skip || Academy Entrance || Night-Time

The night had fast approached and Memphis was already at the designated location for the group to meet up, quietly awaiting the arrival of the students and his colleague, Midora. However the Headmaster had arrived early, so there was still some time to wait, just. Binding his time he remained standing by the entrance and quietly thought over those who would be in charge of his academy whilst he was away. Not that Memphis overly cared for the place, and he’d only just arrived that day, and yet the demon was oddly loyal to the building though that was only due to his master. Why else would he care for such a place.

The demon crossed his arms over and leaned against a wall lazily. He only hoped it wouldn't rain tonight and things flowed well, though giving his luck at times it was unlikely. Exhaling a puff of smoke the redhead sighed boredly, "Those kids better get here soon."

Momoko Sawada

(Collab With Kapento)

Momoko had been caught off guard by the sudden lunge from Ruzik, the demon pinning her down and sitting on top of her when saying he shall fulfill her every desire. But Momoko didn’t have any desires, at least none that the boy would be filling anytime soon. As if things weren’t awkward enough, Ruzik then forced his lips against hers and stole her first kiss! The girls face was overcome with a red crimson flush and her words were deemed useless, or rather pointless by that point.

Thankfully Kou had pulled Ruzik off and immediately Momoko sat up, quickly scrambling to her feet whilst trying to calm herself down over the whole incident. ”I-I’m fine!” She snapped nervously, patting down her kimono before looking to the pair of demons. Ruzik was sat on the bed with Kou stood beside him, the rabbit even apologizing for her teammate’s actions. ”L-Like I said I-I’m fine.” Momoko didn’t want to seem rude but the girl was a little lost for words as she turned and began to make her way to the bathroom, all the while listening to the scolding the redhead was getting from Kou, and also the kind words offered by the rabbit to the mage. Momoko appreciated it, but she couldn’t quite think of anything to say beyond, ”I just need a moment, excuse me.”

Ruzik quietly watched the blonde girl retreat towards the safety of the bathroom, taking her leave as she seemingly needed a moment. The incubus was placed on the bed by Kou after the rabbit had pulled him off the mage, which the demon still couldn’t quite grasp as to what was wrong with both girls at that point. ”B-But it was a game,” He spoke up and gazed to Kou. ”I was only playing I didn’t mean to hurt anyone, I don’t understand.”

When Kou had spoken a particular word the incubus appeared to be angered, if not partly shocked to such an allegation against him. ”I-I’m not a monster, stop saying that! It was just a kiss, Kou… I was only messing around with her.” Perhaps Ruzik did not understand the true extent of his actions, however he most definitely did not want to be labeled as some monster. The incubus could be many things, but a monster he was not. He’d never force himself on someone if they did not wish it, unless the demon was trying to play with others which clearly his intentions were misunderstood and poorly received.

”I’m sorry Kou, please don’t leave me again. I-I didn’t mean to upset her, or you… I really didn’t.” Moving from the bed, the incubus wrapped his arms around the rabbit’s waist and rested his head against her stomach as he clung to the girl. ”Please don’t let her tell anyone, I’m still trying to get my powers back! They’d punish me more! I-I’ve learned my lesson and I won’t do it again, I promise! I swear it, just… please don’t leave me Kou. I-I need your help.”

The mage had remained in the bathroom for a good while longer than she originally planned, finally reappearing out from the door cautiously after what felt like hours of hiding. Which it probably was. Momoko had thought long and hard over the kiss, and yet despite how it occurred she did not truly hate the demon nor feel any ill intent towards him. Ruzik was a weird demon and she couldn’t quite work him out, though maybe deep down he was only trying to do something good for her? Granted, his approach could have been much improved upon, and the mage was not exactly appreciative for the kiss anyway.

”I must apologize for hiding for so long… I seem to have wasted a lot of our first night together by staying in the bathroom.” She said, hoping to break whatever awkwardness lingered in the air upon her arrival back into the room. ”B-But I have been thinking.”

Taking a deep breath and walking up to the pair, the girl approached the two demons that were sat on the bed. Perhaps they had been talking? Or, maybe Kou was giving the redhead another telling-off. Either way, Momoko had kept the pair waiting long enough and wanted to clear the air. Of course, there was a few things she needed to say to Ruzik before the group could continue as they were.

”I’m not mad at you Ruzik, and I won’t tell the teachers what you did… so long as you say you won’t do it again, and will behave better and be good. Otherwise, if you do try that again I-I may have to tell someone even though I d-don’t really want to, understand?” After all, he was her demon and maybe it was up to Momoko to teach the redhead a lesson, as the girl didn’t wish to put the boy into further trouble with their teachers. ”I-If it’s not much to ask I’d really like some b-boundaries between us, mainly… no kissing and touching, and things of that nature. I-I don’t really know you, but I wish for you to respect my wishes Ruzik, as both your friend and mage.”

Kneeling down onto the floor, Momoko took hold of a hand from each demon and held them close to herself. Smiling softly up to them, the mage then added, ”I think we could all benefit from a bite to eat, what do you say? We can go get some treats and spoil ourselves rotten from the cafeteria.”

Ruzik had been sat on the bed yet again, remaining there for hours it seemed until a glimpse of their mage reappear soon caught his attention. He hadn’t dared looked over to Kou, having spent the entire time begging the girl to not leave him, promising he’d never do anything bad again, and many of the usual likes. Despite his efforts however, his promises were still seemingly empty, and no matter how Ruzik said it, his words always seemed to be lacking some ounce of truth to them.

Kou had called him a monster more or less. Her words hurt him, he’d never expect her to say such a thing to him in all his life. He wasn’t a monster, surely? No, he wasn’t. Not if he could help it. But his thoughts would have to be put aside for the time begin as their mage entered the room again and made her way over to the two demons. Listening to what she had to say, Ruzik sat and kept his mouth shut for the entirely time surprisingly, allowing the innocent girl her time to speak. ”Fine, I won’t do it again, you can count on it. I understand.” He said after she was finished. ”Yeah, whatever. I’ll keep my distance, promise.”

Not really wishing to make a big deal of it the incubus kept his responses short, and compliant. When the mage held his hand towards herself though, Ruzik raised a questioning brow before quickly sliding his hand out of her grasp and brought it back to himself, before then dragging his knees up and holding them against his chest. ”No, you two should go. Have fun, you don’t need me there. I’ll just stay in the dorm and keep out your way… or I can go elsewhere and not bother you two, if you'd prefer.” Ruzik was many things, but he wasn’t entirely stupid. He could sense the uncomfortable vibe from the young mage despite her tries to build bridges, and hell-knows whatever Kou thought of him just then. Besides, given their free time now he could go pester some other mage or demon.

Kou cringed, she had not meant for it to sound so harsh. She simply wanted to teach Ruzik the error of his ways and if he wasn't scolded he would never learn. "Take all the time you need," the rabbit spoke softly to Momoko, realizing that this might have traumatized her"if you want anything I'll be right out here."

It was hard to stay mad at someone so innocent, Ruzik truly didn't realize that this was the wrong way to act so it would be best to simply point out what he had done wrong. Which Kou had done, perhaps a bit too strongly. "I'm sorry," Kou shook her head as he grabbed her by the waist and rest his head against her stomach. "I didn't mean for it to come out that way," her voice was quiet and she ran a hand through his red tresses. Kou cupped his chin in her fingers and kissed his forehead.

"I'm not going to leave you, it's quite obvious you need help and I don't think the teachers are going to give it to you." Kou sighed, "you're not a monster, but you're certainly no angel either." the rabbit cocked a hip, giving him a sorry smile. Momoko came out of the bathroom then, looking a bit more put together then before. She hadn't fallen apart which was good, but she had seemed quite frazzled and upset by the stunt Ruzik had pulled. The demon breathed a sigh of relief at the human's words, glad they were not going to lose yet another mage. She hesitated before taking Momoko's hand as the girl had just stated a 'no touch' rule but if she didn't want them to take it surely she wouldn't have put them out?

"Alright, I already ate but I could always go for seconds." Kou had decided to take the girl's hand and released it at this point. She stood from the bed and gave a sidelong glance at Ruzik. "Are you sure you don't want to come? I know you don't eat but..." Kou trailed off, realizing that he wanted to be alone. "Alright, stay out of trouble and if you need anything come to me." She told the incubus and rifled through her pockets, producing a glossy red lollipop. Kou placed it on the bed beside Ruzik and turned to Momoko.

"Shall we go then?"

Hearing of China was fascinating and Muse was captivated by the description, even if Venom had made it sound less than enchanting. Nevertheless, Muse wanted to know everything about this apparently tiny, shitty village but before she had the chance to inquire Venom asked Muse about herself. The demon hesitated, reaching up to scratch the spot where her horns connected to her head and squirming a bit in her seat before finally answering.

"I come from Germany, but other than that I don't know much about myself." She tapped her head as if to say she were stupid, "memory loss. Apparently the Mages found me in the ruins of a village and they kept me in their branch headquarters for a few days before sending me here." Muse had finished her dessert by now and pushed the tray away, wondering if the tea was to Venom's liking.

"Do you really paint?" Muse asked as Venom had spoke before of something inspiring her to paint a picture. Just then Memphis's voice came over the loud speaker, requesting that those who were in the Headmaster class begin to prepare and meet at the front of the academy. "I guess it's time to go," Muse stood and stretched her arms above her head, causing her shirt to rise a bit. She quickly pulled it down and offered Venom a hand up. "Shall we go?"

Bugby Marshall

Bugby had made it to the cafeteria with Cleo and the group, though once the Headmasters announcement came over the speakers he knew the three would likely began getting ready for their mission, or whatever it was. ”Well, I wish you luck.” He told the two males, noticing Cleo had hurried off just moments before. With that said Bugby also took his leave and left the two, figuring that with his teammates gone then he would be left on his own and need to find something to busy himself with in their absence.

He decided to head to the library for now and distract himself in the meantime, though maybe later he’d go see some of the other students who were still at the academy with him, maybe. He knew that they didn’t have anything else to do for today, and without his teammates to annoy him, the demon would enjoy what little quiet-time he could. With that in mind he made his way to the library, figuring he’d so some reading of a few things that were tickling his interest at that moment. Once there, the demon began to search through the aisles before selecting a book and sitting himself down to read.

Laurence Snow

Laurence had fallen asleep and remained in a peaceful slumbering state for a good while before waking up sometime later. Feeling better than what he was prior, the mage was now sat at the desk and revising some of the spells from the book that Mr. Kurayami had given him. The boy tried his best to remember as many as he could though really he’d only need a few, so overloading his mind with unnecessary information was a little pointless.

Whilst busy concentrating his focus was disturbed for a moment, as a voice suddenly filled the hallways outside the room and quickly Laurence recognized it to be the Headmaster. "First year students of the Headmasters class, this is just a reminder that you are expected to arrive by 10 pm for your mission tonight. We meet at the Academy Entrance – Do not be late! I will be there personally to meet you so I'll know! Oh, and make sure you are ready, and be prepared. That's all!" Figuring it was time to make a move, Laurence closed the book over and place it to the side of the desk. Getting to his feet, the boy yawned quietly and stretched his arms out to either side of him.

”Guess I better get ready.” He told himself, before walking over to the wardrobe and lifting out a set of fresh clothes to change into. The ones he was wearing were still stained with blood from his earlier injury, and so Laurence disappeared into the bathroom to change himself. Once done, and after a quick wash, the boy headed back into the room and picked up the black wand. Since Etelka said he could use it, the boy would, though kept in mind to not use it recklessly or rely on it too much. ”That’s me leaving Etelka, I’ll see you later.”

Announcing his departure the mage left the room and headed down the hallway, making his way across the academy as he tried to locate the entrance. Thankfully it wasn’t that hard to find, and Laurence managed to arrive at the entrance with not too much difficulty. Upon being there right away he saw the Headmaster and Cleo, sighing a little as it was a relief to know he wasn’t the only one there. Once close enough he looked to the older demon, ”Laurence present, Sir.” The mage wasn’t sure if he had to introduce himself or not, but he figure doing so couldn’t hurt. A moment later he faced the cat-girl and gave her a smile. ”Hey Cleo, you must’ve gotten here pretty early, huh?”

He wondered when the others would arrive, especially Venom. He hadn’t seen her since he left with Mr. Kurayami, but he figured she’d arrive sooner or later. For now though he just stood and crossed his arms in his attempt to retain some warmth.

Momoko was relieved that the demons seemed to comply with what she said, and that no more trouble had arisen as consequence. Relaxing her shoulders the girl stood upright, happy that at least Kou would come with her. Ruzik however, for some reason did not wish to accompany them. Was he avoiding her? She hoped not, she didn’t wish to make the redhead feel uncomfortable around her, though Momoko decided to give him space if that was what he wished.

”If that is what you want Ruzik, I don’t mind…and I don’t want you putting yourself out either, you are very welcome here as any of us are. Please don’t feel bad about earlier,” She tried to reassure the demon, hoping that they could get past the incident from earlier. ”You know where to find us if you change your mind, I’d love for you to join us at some point, when you’re feeling up to it maybe?” Not wishing to pressure the demon into it the mage dropped the matter and gave him a quick bow, before offering a nod to Kou and making her way towards the door and propped it open a little. ”Yep, let’s go, I’m actually kind of starving now that I think about it, haha.”

Making her way outside Momoko waited for Kou to follow her out of the room, and once the rabbit had done so and shut the door, the mage gave a sigh and quietly asked the other girl, ”He’s going to be alright, isn’t he? I hope he doesn’t view me too badly because of what happened.” Shaking her head lightly the girl turned on her heel, riding her mind of such thoughts and keeping herself calm. ”We should keep moving.” Moving forward the mage took the lead and began to walk down the hallway, though she hadn’t looked back to the rabbit during her short walk to the corner of the hallway, until the girl finally stopped and waited for her demon to catch up. She knew where the cafeteria was vaguely, though would need Kou to get there without becoming lost completely.

When Kou did reach the mage again, Momoko turned to look at her only with a wide smile this time. ”Oh, I know! If he doesn’t join us later I can bring something from the cafeteria to him, whatever thing he likes to eat! Maybe a cake or something, or some proper food. It could be a peace offering to make it up to him, I suppose. Though I do wish he'd come to us, rather.”

Ruzik gave a nod to the two girls to confirm he wasn’t joining them, though surprisingly both the mage and rabbit wanted his company which caused a small smile to form on his lips. ”You two go on ahead and if I feel up to it then… maybe I’ll come find you, since you’re so eager to have me with you.” He told the mage somewhat teasingly and then watched the young girl heading for the door, soon taking her leave. Redirecting his gaze onto Kou afterwards, the demon slid off the bed and took hold of the lollipop she had placed out for him and walked up to her. ”Fine, fine, if I need anything I’ll come find you, I swear. Don’t worry so much.

Wrapping his arms around her, he stole a quick hug from the rabbit as he held Kou close to him for a minute or so. It was merely to reassure the girl that he would seek her should he need the rabbit, since Ruzik wasn’t exactly the best keeper of promises and Kou knew that, but he would at least try for her sake. ”Now go, I’ll see you soon.” Releasing her, he moved to the side to let Kou pass and quickly unwrapped and stuck the lollipop in his mouth. ”Don’t worry I won’t cause any trouble while you’re gone, you can trust me, you know.”

Standing there he waited for the rabbit to leave and follow on after their mage, giving her a warm smile as Ruzik leaned against the drawers and crossed his arms. He waited until Kou was out of the room before moving himself, listening behind the door to ensure both girls were perfectly gone before he slowly opened the door and quietly let himself out. Suspicious perhaps, but the incubus instinctively felt the urge to sneak out whilst the girls were gone. His initial thoughts being that of bad things that he would inevitably do, however the notion quickly past and the demon was left standing in the hall feeling a little uncertain of himself. Unsurprisingly it was in his nature to be bad and do wicked things, but what Ruzik had learned only some time ago was that his sense of fun was not quite like everyone else's. Was that why others didn’t like him?

It was certainly a strong possibility, and the incubus did feel a degree of guilt towards how he had treated his mage. The poor girl had only said she had never been kissed by a boy, and yet the incubus felt the instinct to react in what he would have considered an appropriate way. But clearly he was wrong. Walking down the hallway somewhat aimlessly at first Ruzik eventually settled on a course of action, perhaps joining his teammates sooner or later, however something sparked in his mind that compelled the demon to act upon it. He was looking for someone, a mage. One who owed him an apology, but if the redhead was to truly better himself, and prove himself to Kou, he would need to tend to some loose ends and mend any issues affecting him, primarily regarding those who hated him.

Walking around the academy the demon was in search of Liliane. He didn’t know where she was however, she could have been in the infirmary, her dorm, or anywhere. It was rather troublesome to say the least and Ruzik had asked countless figures if they had seen the mage, to which gradually but surely lead him in the right direction. Soon enough he found the girl on her own, though for how long that would last the incubus wasn’t sure. That lousy woman would likely appear soon enough and come running to the girls defense, whatever her name was. Rayne, or something.

”Liliane,” He called to gain the girls attention. He didn’t care what she was doing or if he was bothering her, but he wanted to talk and that was what he would do. ”I’d like to make amends with you, for earlier. I may have acted inappropriately towards you… so I’m just here to apologize.” Forcing a smile the incubus approached the mage and took a few steps closer to her, though still maintained some distance between them. ”You almost killed me and rightly I should despise you, which I sort-of do. However, similarly it’s not often I meet someone who’s came that close to ending my life, so I guess what I’m trying to say… in some way… is that I know now that I was maybe pushing some boundaries with you. For that, I'm sorry.”

Tilting his head to the side he looked to the mage-girl rather curiously. Whether she believed it or not the demon meant no harm to her, thus his rather cautious nature towards the girl. ”In all honesty I’m trying to build bridges, you could say. I’d rather not start any trouble with you and instead, I guess, get along with you in some way. Which is also why I’m here,” Pausing for a moment the incubus thought over his words carefully, figuring out how to word his intentions exactly. ”I'd like it if we hanged out and showed the teachers we can get along. I also have a new mage you see, a young girl about your age I imagine. I think you'd get along with her, and I think it would do her good to be surrounded by others who weren't like... myself. Maybe you could get to know her a bit, that sort of thing. Maybe even give her tips on how to handle me since you seem so good at it, heh.”

Despite his innocent enough request, the demon always had some form of ulterior motive behind everything he did. This was no exception either, though Ruzik did wish good things for Momoko it was not his exact goal to achieve, so to say. ”She should be heading for the cafeteria about now with Kou, I’ll be going there soon enough. So, what do you say? Do this for me and I won’t have a reason to bother you anymore, in fact I may even return the favour and do something for you if you'd like? I'm trying to be reasonable with you, even though your reasons for hating me are beyond my knowledge. We don't have to be friends Liliane, but we can tolerate each other if we help one another out, right?”

Cleo Gardenia

Image

Cleo smiled to the young mage who approached her, the boy being Laurence who she had met before in the infirmary. ”Yeah I guess, though it’s great to see you made it here too.” It was just the two of them there for now, as well as the Headmaster. At least it was a small chance to get to know some of the others better before things kicked off, so she’d enjoy her time with Laurence for now. ”I hear you got a big part to play in the mission tonight, are you excited?” She asked with a slight purr, shifting herself over closer to the boy. He had crossed his arms and looked a bit cold, so Cleo instinctively wrapped an arm round his shoulders and pulled him a little closer to her to give the mage more heat. ”It’s a little chilly tonight so we best stick together, you look cold.”

"I'll be there in one minute," Kou told Momoko as the mage practically ran out the door. She wondered if the female could find her way on her own to the cafeteria then thought better of it and realized she should probably catch up to ensure the human did not get lost. Just when Kou was about to leave Ruzik hugged her tightly and for a moment she wondered if he did not want her to go. Then he promised to meet them in there and that he would stay out of trouble and come to her if he needed anything. Kou smiled, satisfied with this answer and turned to exit. "See you later then," Kou said and ran to catch up with their mage who had since disappeared.

The rabbit caught up to the girl in no time and listened to the human's question. "He'll be fine," Kou said it more to herself because she hoped this would be true. Ruzik always seemed to bounce back, nothing could really keep that boy down. She looked up only to see that Momoko was no longer in her sights. Kou sighed and ran a hand through her blue hair, shaking her head and walking a bit faster. Where had Momoko gone? She hadn't gone down a hallway when Kou was spacing out had she? Thankfully the rabbit turned the corner and spotted Momoko once more.

Kou picked up her pace, attempting to keep the mage in her sights. She shook her head at the comment Momoko made, an ear flopping over one of her eyes. "Ruzik doesn't eat normal food, he likes lollipops but that's about it." Kou wondered if they ever served hearts in the cafeteria. Obviously not human ones, but would animal hearts satiate his constant hunger? The demon wondered and took the lead, guiding Momoko through a maze of hallways until they reached the double doors that signified they were at the entrance of the cafeteria.

"Here we are," Kou held the door open for the girl and went inside. The place was empty save for a few souls studying to themselves at various tables. Kou headed up to the line and grabbed a tray, wondering what she had a hankering for. The demon tilted her head, pushing her fallen ear back up and looking at the array of food. She wasn't that hungry and so the rabbit settled for a parfait and a cup of tea. "So you said before you don't eat a lot of meat, do you not like the taste or is there a different reason?" Kou asked, waiting for Momoko to make her selection so that they could sit down.

Liliane was taken aback by the Headmaster's outburst. She didn't expect someone of high authority to lose their composure like he had. Shortly after he left Etelka left as well saying she really didn't want any help at all. If the demon didn't want any help then it had nothing to do with Liliane. The demon wouldn't be her problem when danger came. Even Sarah left while muttering her sudden dislike for Memphis. Everyone else had left already so Liliane closed her eyes and let out a sigh. It was quiet despite being at a large school being well populated. But the quietness was suddenly interrupted by a voice Liliane had learned to hate. He said he wanted to apologize despite the hard feelings between the two. When he suggested the two "hang out" Lili's eyes widened. Hang out with the enemy? That would be like her mother's killer asking to go and hang out at the movies and do some bowling. Then he mentioned the new mage. Liliane hadn't seen the person yet but Ruzik suggest they get to know each other.

"I'll go but this is extremely suspicious. I don't trust you as far as i can, literally, throw you if I had the strength of a gerbil. I will not take your offer. I don't negotiate or make deals with demons." Liliane went to stand behind Ruzik. "I'll let you lead the way. If you make a move I don't like then you will know what it's like to have your neck snapped quickly." Ruzik wanted to be on better terms with Liliane but the mage didn't buy it. It was only this morning that he threatened her. And it was to do things with her body. No way was she letting that slide by like it didn't happen. Liliane was very protective of her body and broke the fingers of the last person to touch the girl against her wishes.

"I expect you to hold your word about not bothering me after I see your mage. In the meantime I expect you to keep at least three arms length away from me at all times. You are correct in assume I have a deep hatred for you and your kind. So i hope you don't give me a reason to release any of it." Liliane wasn't the type of person to issue out so many threats before. She wondered if it was her anger getting the best of her. The girl didn't know if threats were exactly the best approach but she hoped Ruzik at least now knew what it was like for Lili when she had tried to apologize to him that morning. The two made their way towards the cafeteria with Liliane remaining several paces behind the demon.

Laurence welcomed the closeness of the feline and the warmth that she brought with her. Smiling, he gave a nod to her earlier remark. ”Yeah, I guess you could say it’s a big part… and yeah I am excited though also nervous, I suppose.” Giving a sheepish laugh, he noticed then that Midora had arrived and joined the small group. Now there were four of them, and only four left to arrive. Looking back to Cleo the boy asked, ”Are you nervous about tonight? You don’t seem it, but I was just wondering if I was the only one, or not.” Sighing quietly he moved his gaze away from the cat-girl for a moment or so, taking a breath to calm himself a little. So far he’d kept his nervous under control somewhat and he couldn’t afford to really express his inner anxiety so much.

Momoko gladly followed Kou as the demon lead her through the hallways and towards the cafeteria. She was thankful that she had Kou with her, or else the mage might have gotten lost! With a smile she simply said, "Thank-you." Following her demon the girl walked over and picked up a tray, before joining the line and casting her gaze over the array of food on offer for the girl to choose from. Really she would have eaten anything though decided to not be greedy, eventually opting for a salad and sandwiches, as well as a milkshake and a few little chocolate treats.

Not long after settling on her meal Kou asked the girl as to why she didn't eat a lot of meat and the reasons behind it. "Oh, there's no special reason." She spoke before leading the pair over to a close by table and set herself down in one of the seats. Once Kou had also seated herself the girl continued, "During my early childhood my family was a bit poor and couldn't afford a lot of meat, so we just ate what we could grow in our garden instead for a while. Mostly vegetables and fruit really and I guess... I just got use to it even as we got a bit richer over the years."

Unwrapping her sandwiches she picked one up and took a bite out of it. It was a plain cheese sandwich though Momoko seemed to really enjoy it regardless. A moment or so afterward she then added, ”I try to keep up a healthy lifestyle so I suppose fruit and vegetables is a better alternative. Why do you ask? Is meat important to you?” Continuing to nibble on her sandwich the girl kept her eyes on the demon, slightly curious of her answer. Maybe Kou did not like meat, or maybe she did. Momoko wasn't sure.

Though, the mage had a question of her own that she felt the urge to ask at that moment. ”I‘ve been meaning to ask but… your ears are that of a rabbits, right? Does that mean you were once a rabbit, or have you always been like you are now? Sorry if that sounds rude but I’ve never seen anyone like you before.” Dropping her head to the side slightly Momoko gazed upward towards the girls ears, somewhat fascinated by them and their fluffy appearance. ”And is there any do’s and don’ts? Like, anything I shouldn’t do towards you? Such as touch your ears or tail, or things like that? I know if I had ears like that I'd probably not like everyone touching them, so I figured I should ask.”

It didn't surprise Ruzik that the mage was wary of him, given how the day had progressed it was unlikely that Liliane was going to accept him with open arms. But still, at least he was making an effort. Albeit he was rude earlier the incubus was now attempting to overlook their previous encounters and start anew. "I was only wanting to spend some time with you, I wasn't trying to imply anything else," He said and smiled towards the girl as she passed him. "I don't want your body so you can relax, I was only trying to have some fun with you this morning. Besides you bet me anyway, shouldn't that be enough to make you happy?"

Rolling his eyes a little the demon turned round to face the mage. He had gotten fairly use to having threats made against him since coming to the academy, and yet just now despite what Liliane had said the incubus appeared unfazed by it. Whether she lived up to her words or not, he didn't really care during that moment. "Of course I'll hold my word, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it if I never planned on keeping to it." Grinning a little, he spoke his words in a light teasing manner before the pair began to head for the cafeteria. Ruzik taking the lead, he guided the girl towards their desired location though on the way there the two students ran into Mikari.

Without even greeting the man the incubus remarked, ”I’m not a kid, Mikari. You should know that by now.” Playfully pouting to the mage, Ruzik clasped his hands behind his back and looked sweetly up the blue-haired man. ”Don’t worry we’re not going to kill each other just yet, we’re actually going to the cafeteria. Oh, and have you heard? We got a new mage, again. Don’t scare this one off. As to why their group seemed to go through mages at an unhealthy rate, it was probably best to try and hold onto this new one for as long as they could. ”Sure, whatever. Your life must be pretty boring old man if you’ve got nothing better to do than tag-along with us.”

Continuing onward, the redhead lead the small group through the remaining few hallways before reaching the cafeteria. "Here we are little mage," He said and turned to look at Liliane once stepping into the cafeteria. Raising a hand he pointed to the blonde girl that accompanied Kou at a table, though whether they noticed him he couldn't tell. "That one, the blonde girl in the kimono. I want you to be her friend and make her feel welcome, sounds simple enough, right? Do that and I will not cause you any more trouble from now on. I'll keep to my word I can assure you, Lili." Grinning once more to the mage he then raised a hand and patted her head, quickly forcing a sweet smile before turning his focus onto Mikari.

”Don’t worry I’m not plotting anything bad Mikari,” He reassured the teacher and crossed his arms against his chest, still maintaining his smile towards the man. ”Anyway, I’ve been quite good, more or less. I’ll be expecting a reward at some point you know, say, maybe some of my power? Or, I’d also happily take some more of that stuff you gave me to satisfy my hunger, I really liked it.

His attention was distracted at that moment as he spotted Etelka eating alone by a table, just the sight of her fuelling a deep feeling of despite within the incubus however oddly enough he chose to ignore it. Where had hatred got him so far? It was pointless furthering whatever petty issues he had with the girl, but he would never forget the threat she had made towards Kou. If anything, that was his only reason for disliking Etelka and yet when watching the demon eating alone he couldn't help but feel... sorry for her.

"I’ll be back in a minute." Having already told Liliane what he wished of her, and even pointing out his own mage, Ruzik felt he could leave Liliane on her own as he walked through the room and then sat himself down at the table where Etelka was already seated at. Like with the mage, this demon also would probably not appreciate his presence near her but Ruzik didn't care. However, with Mikari nearby it forced the incubus to behave somewhat as the man would likely be watching him. "Hey Etelka, don't worry I'm not here to cause trouble with you," He greeted the girl, although for once he didn't try to display any sense of forced happiness or displeasure to the girl, and instead gave her a rather blank expression of some sort.

Etelka wasn't that stupid, she'd see through any fake attempt he made and so the incubus would treat her respectably and be frankly open with her. "You look lonely, you should join them," He said and looked over to where Kou and Momoko sat before gazing back to the demon. "Kou views you as a friend and it looks like you could use one, despite what you said earlier I now know you wouldn't do anything to hurt her, since I also know you'd much rather hurt me instead. I’d be willing to even allow you to do just that to me, if it meant leaving Kou unharmed. Would that persuade you, Etelka? Hurt me and spare Kou, would that suit you? "

Grinning slightly, he rested his elbows against the table and leaned over closer to the girl. ”I want our issues to stop, I can’t be bothered with this anymore. I want to make amends and settle our differences, since we seemingly got off on the wrong foot yesterday. So, my offer still stands. You can have me if you leave Kou unhurt, torture me instead and I won’t even complain. I’m ready whenever you are.

Getting up from his seat he remained leaning over the table and had his hands against it, propping himself up as he leaned in closer to the girl with a slight smirk. "It’s your choice, Etelka." He teased in a slight whispered, perhaps even seductively as he winked at her and flashed his sharky-teeth. ”What do you say? Do you want to make me scream? Make me cry?… Watch me beg for mercy? My powers are sealed for now, so I'll feel every ounce of pain forced upon me. However, you can say no if you wish, either way I want us to cease our displeasure's and try to get along. I'll do anything to create peace between us.”
