Himeko sighed a bit as she looked in the fridge and noticed that she needed to go shopping. She looked in her father's wallet and grabbed a few bills, which would normally be taboo, but not in this family. Her dad worked a lot, so Himeko had to pay all the bills and do all of the shopping. Her mother was too ill to do the errands, so the responsibility fell on Himeko.

The strawberry blonde slipped on her converse, brushing her hair in front of the living room mirror. She put the brush down and ran out the door.

She walked the streets, keeping to herself. Himeko wasn't a very social person unless she was in the company of her friends. She hated boys, mostly because thanks to Kurou Kitomura she had to move schools. Her brother died after the move, thus her dreaded return to the school that ridiculed and bullied her constantly after she was denied.

She jammed her hands into her royal blue Abercrombie hoodie, sighing to herself. Finally the grocery store was in sight, and she ran ahead. She picked up a gallon of milk for her parents and a few other items for dinner, treating herself to a cup of coffee since she was lactose intolerant and thus wouldn't be able to drink the milk. She paid the cashier and hurried out the door, turning the corner to begin her way down the first block that led to her house.

She was about to break into a sprint, but found herself walking straight into something hard that caused her to spill all of her coffee out on herself and whatever she hit, "O-ouch! Hot!"

She fell backwards due to the impact and dropped her bags of groceries as a result. When she fell, she looked up only to realize that she bumped into someone instead of something. In fact, she bumped into a very tall and gorgeous male. He had silver hair and piercing eyes that kind of gave her the chills. His face was familiar, but she wasn't sure why. She knew for a fact that she'd never met him before.. He's.. Intimidating..

Immediately Himeko pushed herself back onto her feet and brushed herself off, apologizing to the stranger, "Gomenasai. I guess the streets here are a bit different than I remember." She laughed in an anxious attempt to make amends.

She finally noticed the coffee on his clothes and felt a sudden pang of guilt, then offered him her handkerchief so he could wipe off his clothes, at least a little. She didn't use it herself, because she was just going home and her clothes were no where near as expensive as his! She had no idea where this guy was going, but she felt bad considering she possibly ruined his clothes permanently, "I will pay you back if those are ruined, even if I have to work the money off!" She exclaimed, bowing in shame. She was still eating herself up inside about it, realizing how angry she would have been if she had been in his shoes.

"Are you alright? Did the coffee burn you at all?" she asked with a concerned tone, unaware that the two of them were being spied on the entire time. A certain paparazzi was hidden, still snapping shots of the duo as she spoke. Sure, the white haired stranger was a guy, so she automatically felt a sense of resentment towards him, but he wasn't hitting on her at the moment so he was still eligible for her concern.

It was a very tiring day for a certain top male model named EDGE. His fashion show had just ended and of course, it was a success. He was even given great accolades for his style and presence on the runaway. This was a great boost as he was modelling for a very prominent fashion label which was Gucci. It wasn't surprising even if he was practically a newcomer to the fashion scene. Actually, he is still in his first year of modelling. This is because many of the products he had endorsed gained such fame and were always sold out. He had also walked the runaways and make sure it sizzles when he's on it. Actually, there had even been offers from international modelling agency which could expand his career on a global scale. This would be a great opportunity but, he rejected it, stating that he has yet to gain a status that he is satisfied with in his own country, Japan.

The actual reason for this is that he didn't want to be in a place far away from his light who the public commonly knows as Ichigo Fuwa. But, he knows him more as Yukito Kitomura. It's helpful that he is the son of the Talent Agency's President that the young Pop Icon is enlisted in. It allows him to have certain private information to be declassified. Speaking of which, he had requested to attend a certain school which was at first a surprise to his father. He had already stopped going since all of them gave up on him. He was an absentee student and a scary delinquent to boot. It was because of that history of his that he earned the nickname the Silver Monster. But, that was in the past. Now, he just opted not to attend one since, it would get in the way of his work and all. But, he changed his mind ever since the last conversation that he and Yukito had the other day.

Anyways, his father agreed and his transfer is good as complete. All he has to do is go to school on its first day. That won't be a problem, he has his primary motivation in life attending it. For now, he focused himself on avoiding attending the after party of the fashion show. The owner of the Gucci label was inviting him along the other models, but he suavely declined, stating that he has a very important promise to keep. This was of course a lie and the only appointment he has would be with his bed. He was tired from all the activities he had for one day. He left the party and made a slip from the awaiting car sent by the agency. It had been stated by his father that he'll be picked up by the agency's car wherever he is, but it doesn't mean he would not escape that routine sometimes. This was one of those times.

He mixed with the large crowd leaving the building where the fashion show was held. He did well to cover his hair with a cap and wore an over-sized coat to hide his built, but he didn't expect that his disguise would not work on the keen eye of a certain paparazzi who followed behind him. His reason for not using the car was that he simply wanted a moment to clear his head. There were still things he wanted to think about and he couldn't do that while riding the car. The breeze was also a welcome to him. It seemed that he finds comfort in the streets more than anything else. When he was sure that he was a distance from the agency's car. He removed the coat and the cap, showcasing a rather expensive looking clothes. Well, they are. It didn't strike him odd if people would recognize him. That's because he's a model not an entertainer, so his exposure are only on limited media. But, he underestimated his popularity however...

Thinking about it, he saw from the distance a grocery store. He could buy some snacks to have later when he gets back to his apartment. With that line of thinking, he went towards the store and was caught by surprised as he turned around the corner and something or more appropriately, someone came out, colliding with him. It was not enough to make him falter or miss a step. Instead, he remained unmoved from his position, but somehow felt a hot sensation seeping through his clothes. He looked at it and noticed a brown stained forming at the area around his stomach. He could judged by the temperature and the scent, that it was coffee.

He only remembered the someone who bumped him when he heard someone apologizing. He looked at that person and saw it to be a girl. She was pretty that he won't deny, but it wasn't something he would get excited on. He had seen many beautiful people and really, he only had one person now in mind. She then offered her handkerchief to him, but he didn't take it immediately as he was still listening to what she was saying. She was quite talkative, earnest, and was quite a busybody from what he is seeing. It was just coffee and it was hot, but he didn't think he was burned from it. "Don't worry about it." He finally spoke as he lifted his shirt a bit which showed his very fit stomach with a remarkable show of abs, just around that portion of course. The skin held a light red tint, but nothing that won't go away in a few minutes. "See. I'm fine. You don't have to pay me." It was to show her that she shouldn't worry about him being burned as he returned his covered his stomach again.

His eyes of beautiful purple found the discarded grocery bags as he grabbed hold of it. "Here." He handed the grocery bags to her while looking at her clothes. "You're more of the victim than me. Sorry." He then took the offered handkerchief but not to wipe himself, instead he placed it on her hand, which was redder than his stomach. "Put some ice on it. It would be bad if it scars you." That small gesture appearing intimate at a distance was caught by the paparazzi who was smiling with pure happiness. It was his lucky day. As for EDGE, he pulled back unaware of the topic which would be headlining tomorrow. "Watch where you are going next time. Bye." His words never once held any apprehension. It was calm and oddly casual as he walked passed her without another look.

At that moment, all he could think about was what snacks he should buy at the grocery store.

"Don't worry about it."

[color=Navy][b]"O-oi!!"
She called out in a embarrassed tone, her voice squeaking from her initial shock. It had been a long time since she'd seen a boy's abs other than her late brother's, but even her brother Ren had been dead for several months, "I-It's strange to just flash a stranger!" She snapped, a dark blush on her face, covering her eyes with one hand. What was this guy, some kind of pervert?!

"See. I'm fine. You don't have to pay me."

"I noticed.. so did half the block.. Are you sure you about the money?" She replied in a distant tone, biting the inside of her cheek, peeking between her fingers to see if it was safe to look. Once she saw his shirt returned to it's proper place, she lowered her hand, "Thank god.. That coffee was fresh. It could have burnt you really bad." She stated, her hand on her chest now as she let out a sigh of relief, glad that the stranger was alright. The last thing she needed was to deal with an angry pedestrian. She was further surprised when he picked up her groceries, and she tensed in humiliation. She totally forgot about the groceries due to the accident!

"Here."

"You didn't have to do that, Arigato!" Himeko stated in an awkward manner. She didn't really feel comfortable talking to a guy, especially one that was so comfortable flashing his abs around.. but she did spill her coffee on him, she was the villain in this saga.

"You're more of the victim than me. Sorry."

Himeko flinched when the handkerchief touched her reddened skin, a faint and muffled hiss escaping her lips. She wasn't even aware that she was hurt. She knew that she spilled it on her coffee, but she was so worried about the silver haired stranger that she didn't even feel her own burn until he brought it to her attention.

"I didn't realize I was.. I ran into you, I did this to myself." She stated in a matter-of-fact tone, taking full responsibility for her actions. Himeko hated being at fault, but she hated irresponsible individuals more.

"Put some ice on it. It would be bad if it scars you."

"I'll do that if I can find some at the house.." She then looked to the milk in her grocery bag, then back up to the silver haired stranger. She wanted to leave now, mostly because in the end, despite being polite, he was still a man. She had bad luck with men, and grew to detest them. The guys she liked never seemed to like her, and she was constantly harassed by creeps. It was annoying, and she grew to dislike men in general, despite being physically attracted to men alone. She was equally unaware that she would have her fifteen minutes of fame, but tomorrow, all hell would break loose.

"Watch where you are going next time. Bye."

Despite the lack of judgement in his tone, the words still rubbed her the wrong way.. Though she held her tongue and waved, "Bye-bye." And she ran off in the opposite direction. She didn't even care that she had coffee on her favorite hoodie, she was too concerned with the stranger she met. He was exceptionally good looking, which was rare for this part of town. How old was he..? Immediately she stopped in the middle of the sidewalk before she got to her house, her face exploding into a blush. What if he was some kind of adult who was trying to seduce her?! He did pull his shirt up.. and he looked older than her..

Himeko managed to make her way to the house, putting away the groceries in a daze before she remembered that he told her to put ice on her hand, "What does he care if my hand scars or not..?" She asked herself, only to be overheard by the last person she wanted to eavesdrop, well, aside from her father. Make that second to last!

"My Himeko is talking about a boy? What is his name? How old is he? Have I met him?" She began bombarding her daughter with questions, retrieving ice for her daughter's burnt hand. She pressed the ice to the burn, waiting for answers. It wasn't often that she heard her daughter speak about guys, at all. She wished to be as involved as possible, hoping to live vicariously through Himeko's experiences.

"No! ..I mean, well.. he is a boy..." She trailed off, a blush creeping it's way back across her cheeks. She turned her gaze away, shaking her head, "I don't know his name or his age... I doubt it.. It's not like that!! I don't want a boyfriend, so don't turn this into something it isn't!" She snapped in desperation. She really wished that her mother would simply accept that she didn't want to put herself in harm's way anymore.

"You don't have to have a boyfriend to have a little fun, sweetie." Her frail mother winked at her, and that was the end of the conversation as far as Himeko was concerned.

"We're done. Gross, mom." Himeko hissed out in disgust. Her nose was crinkled as she strutted to the bathroom, stripping as she made her way through the house. She ran some warm water and took a long bubble bath. She soaked for what felt like forever as she thought about her first day at Aiyazaki High tomorrow, cheerleading, and what her mother said.

Himeko swirled the bubbles around with her index finger, sighing to herself. She relaxed in the water, leaning back until she was staring at the ceiling, "Guys only chew up your heart and spit it back out in the end.." She muttered, blowing away any bubbles that dared to approach her face. The water was definitely relaxing, but she still couldn't get the accident out of her head, "No thank you.." She added in a depressed tone, closing her eyes. At this rate she would never get out of the tub, but she had to settle her thoughts. The tub was the only calming place she had to think.

"Not ever again..."

"It seemed that Christmas arrived early this year. I have received new two new toys to play with to my heart's content.

Yukito raised an eyebrow about Nemui mentioning about working part-time. It seemed both sisters do it. He wasn't opposed to it at all. That was their business and he wasn't going to stop them, but he did notice that stop in regards to Kurumi's work. There's a story to that. He would get to than in another time. For now, he was a bit disappointed. It's just that he already had his mind set that his brother would have companions to hang around the house and to have him gain a sense of responsibility towards the girls would be a fun thing to watch. There goes his source of entertainment, but he could do something about it to make it still worth the fun. He could also suggest to his brother to work part-time too. His thoughts made him inwardly smirked while his mask still perfectly intact. "I see, I'll give you and Kurumi-san keys for the gate and the house then." He noted casually. "If it wouldn't be too much, would you tell me what time do you and Kurumi-san get off from work?" His question came out as normal as day without a hint of anything. "I just want to have a baseline so, I wouldn't worry about you girls too much." He ended it with a smile and a playful wink.

Another point of interest for him was the affirmation of his suspicion. That's why Nemui looked familiar to him. They are classmates. He missed her probably because she was a wallflower. It fits her current appearance which he wouldn't tell her right now. There are other times where he could use those descriptions. "Classmates, if that's the case. Would you like to go to school together tomorrow?" His words came out of his lips as if they were the most common thing to say in this situation. It's like he's unaware of the implication of him being seen together with a girl or maybe he just didn't care, but that was one-sided. He might not, but the other party might care a lot. "We're going to be siblings by the end of this week. I've always wanted to walk with a pretty sister by my side." Usually, there should be a wink at the end, but he simply had a warm smile on his face and then entered the house without another word about it.

"We're back! Did you two behave while we're out?" He announced as he found Kurou and Kurumi at the living room. His orange eyes locked on to the two, but nothing was revealed about his current interests or intentions. He was just being playful and cheerful as he had been depicted so far. "Don't worry about it too much, Nemui-san." He stated while looking at Nemui's very formal bow. "It was no trouble at all." He noted with an airy smile before walking on ahead of her. "Let's have dinner before it gets too cold." But Nemui's words about a test, did earn his attention for a bit. He wasn't that worried about Kurou's grades academically. The guy was good with it. There's a bit of a decline, but that was understandable with what's going on in their lives. Anyways, Kurou was in no danger as much as he could tell. Their mother had always taught them to have a good education, so it kinda stuck on them. "Is that so? Well, I guess it's best for Kurumi-san and Ku-nii to get to bed early then." He noted as he took his seat and waited for everyone else to do the same. "Go ahead and dig in!"

Truth be told, it had been a while since he had cooked for anyone. This past vacation, he was busy with work that he often called Kurou to ask for deliveries or make his own meals. They barely ate together nowadays since he began his pop idol career. He wasn't pleased about the whole remarrying idea and being family with such dimwitted girls who shouldn't be here in the first place, but he was thankful for them for one thing. He was able to cook for his brother and have dinner with him along with the added spice. May be, this wouldn't be that bad as his brother was probably brooding about. Still, he couldn't blame Kurou for hating the arrangements. For now, he was enjoying the thoughts of having new toys to play with. He would make great effort to always play with them. "Itadakimasu!" He announced as he grabbed his chopsticks and began his meal along with the others. Well, food seemed to taste a bit better than before.
On another area, someone was having a rather lonesome dinner. This was none other than Shin. It wasn't that lonely. He had been used to it for a long time. He had just returned from his grocery shopping and was now lounged at his couch while watching some movie with aliens and predators. He just popped in the first DVD he found and just rolled with it. He was living on his own at an apartment he rented through his earnings as a model. He didn't want to depend on that man who was mandated as his father. He grabbed a few chips from the snack he was holding and then looked at the nearby wall clock. It was too slow for his comfort. He wanted it to be morning already. The idea made him smirk. Who would have thought he would be so excited to go to school? He never pegged himself to be. He stood from his seat, turned off the movie, and then decided to take a shower.

Once inside, he removed his shirt and noticed a very pale red mark around his stomach. That's right. He bumped into that girl. It didn't do much damage and his clothes are going to be sent to the dry cleaner's. The girl was flustered by his action, but that was normal. It made him smile, just a small one. It's meaning only known to him and then he ended that encounter with that. He had no idea that tomorrow was going to be more than he bargained for. But as of now, he placed his phone at the sink as he played some songs installed on it. The song playing was actually Yukito's as he stepped on to the shower and just relaxed. Tomorrow was going to be a great day, that's what he assumed. If only, he would know.

"Ne-chan, you could have been.."

Nemui nodded her head, fully aware of what could have happened to her. She'd watched far enough Law and Order and CSI: Miami to know what happened to girls who weren't careful. Her eyes shifted from her sister in shame, "I know Kuru-chii... Gomenasai.." Her voice was soft, as if she were about to cry. Honestly she could have, but she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of her brothers twice in the same day. She withheld her tears to the best of her ability, gripping the oversized sleeves of her light blue jacket.

"Never mind. You're safe, so let's just eat, okay?"

Nemui nodded her head, closing her eyes as she delivered a kind smile to her sister, glad that she seemed to understand. Kurumi always understood, regardless of her mistake, and it made Nemui feel more than lucky to have her as an older sister. She couldn't imagine life without someone as kind as Kurumi as her sibling, but suddenly, she didn't have to imagine...

"You'd better not do it again."

Nemui blinked a bit in shock, tilting her head a bit. She wasn't sure if she had imagined it, but Kurou was far less kind about it. She finally realized that it wasn't her imagination when her eyes flickered to Kurumi, who was gazing at Kurou viciously. Nemui chewed the inside of her cheek, but decided to ignore Kurou. There was no point in engaging if he would respond harshly. This was definitely not the family she envisioned the past few nights, and she couldn't help but feel disappointed. Grumpy pants (Kurou).. Kuru-chii... and My death warrant (Yukito).. What kind of joke is this..? Was I a horrible person in my past life? She followed her sister and went to sit down, but was startled by Yukito's voice.

"It was no trouble at all."

Nemui couldn't conceal the small smile that formed on her lips when Yukito was reassuring that it wasn't a big deal. It was ironic that the brother who was nice to her would also be the brother that got her slaughtered tomorrow at school. This scenario came across as very rom-com to her, so much so that she almost wanted to laugh, just almost. To get a move on with dinner, Nemui sat beside of her sister at the table and waited for someone to start things off. She didn't look up, but Kurumi definitely seemed to be in a slightly better mood after Yukito's comment, so Nemui felt a little more confident in the group than she had been before, perhaps dinner wouldn't be a complete disaster?

"Is that so? Well, I guess it's best for Kurumi-san and Ku-nii to get to bed early then."

Nemui nodded in response to Yukito's question, but also to agree that their older siblings needed a bit more rest than they did. She let her gaze shift to Kurumi to gauge her reaction, but to her relief, Kurumi didn't seem angry with her for blabbing it out. She didn't even bother to look over to Kurou, not really appreciating that she was already getting harsh remarks at home. He didn't know her, and he was definitely not her boss. He wasn't her step brother yet, and even when he was, he would have to earn respect from her, she wouldn't simply hand it out freely. If anything, he lost a decent portion of her respect for his rudeness earlier.

"I'm going to go shortly after dinner so that I can get a little studying in on my own."

Nemui knew that Kurumi was lying, but she couldn't say otherwise in front of Yukito or Kurou. If she were to, both of the boys would know that Nemui was insinuating that Kurumi was a lying. Nemui refused to do make her sister out to be a liar.. even if Kurumi's grade depended on it, she wouldn't stain her older sister's reputation. Kurumi had to have a good reason to lie to every point blank, didn't she? Nemui hoped so, she also hoped that this wasn't some sort of bad influence from being around the brothers.

"Itadakimasu."

"I-Itadakimasu..." Nemui's tone was definitely more genuine and organic, and she did her best to pretend that Kurumi's version wasn't a bit.. overdone. She let out a soft sigh, closing her eyes before putting food on her plate. She grabbed a small portion of everything, gingerly eating with her chopsticks. She noticed Kurou's eating habits, and crinkled her nose before she could reprimand herself.

"Thank you, Kitomura-San. You really worked hard."

"I-I agree... It was very good..." Nemui complimented, but she did not make eye contact, she instead ended up staring down at her plate awkwardly, so she decided to finish off what little was left on her plate. She didn't want to be so awkward, but ever since her father died, her entire life was Topsy-Turvy.

"Bed does sound good."

Nemui said nothing, assuming that he just didn't want to clean his corner of the table which he'd somehow turned into a pigsty over the course of one dinner. She was utterly disgusted. There was no way in hell Nemui was going to clean after that slob, no one could pay her enough. She hated being this negative, but so far he wasn't making a very good impression, especially after how he acted when he was first introduced to them. He was rude to Kurumi earlier that day, and now he was rude to Nemui just before dinner? She couldn't help but feel that her thoughts were justified.

"Excuse me, I am turning in early tonight. Goodnight Ne-chan, Kitomura-kun."

Nemui grabbed up all of the dishes aside from Yukito's and began washing them, "I'll get the dishes, and you get the table then, Kitomura-san?" Nemui inquired, looking over her shoulder for a moment as she awaited his response. She couldn't let all of the work fall onto Yukito, especially where he had cooked dinner for everyone.

TIME SKIP: Next Day: 7:45 A.M.

Nemui sat in class with the girl's school uniform on (Boy's is also in the pic), and waited for class to begin. She left extremely early, so she would have an excuse to not walk to school with Yukito or Kurou. She didn't want to add to any of the bullying she would surely already experience this year. She tapped her fingers on the desk, reading a random page out of her history book as she waited. The classroom was completely empty, but considering how early she'd come in, that wasn't out of the ordinary. This is ridiculous... My life has come to dodging my new family like landmines every morning...

It was not that hard for Shin to wake up in the mornings. He had gotten used to it because of his line of work, and also, he's looking forward to attending the first day of school. He was already done with his morning rituals and was donned in his school uniform. The black color contrasted greatly on him. He wasn't a prim and proper dresser with his jacket not buttoned at all showing his white shirt and necktie, but it suited him which wasn't that hard to do. He is a model after all. He grabbed his school bag and exited his flat. It didn't take him long to reach the lobby of his building where a familiar figure is waiting along with a familiar car. "I don't need a ride, tell him that." He walked passed the figure who released a small sigh and turned around to look at Shin who was about to exit the premises.

"I'd like to do that, but you got a bit sloppy, squirt." Shin wasn't fond of being called names, but this person was given the privilege for he was the closest to a relative he has in this country. It was a middle-aged man working as the agency's driver. He looked over his shoulder only to be met by a picture on a newspaper. "You're in the headlines. EDGE having a romantic rendezvous with NEW Lover." He narrowed his eyes in irritation as he grabbed the newspaper and began to read it in detail. He didn't notice anyone tailing him and from what he could determine from the picture this happened last night after the fashion show, specifically this was when he bumped into that girl. Whoever took this picture made it look like that the girl was leaning for a kiss and being flirtatious towards him as written.

"This is just an accident. I don't even know her. Tch." He clicked his tongue in annoyance. He was fine with the speculations of the media about his love life and so. He was a rather popular one being single and him being attached to other female celebrities by assumptions. The one thing that really irritates him is that getting this kind of news early in the morning and having a total stranger get involved in this which was a big fat lie. "Well, these kind of stories don't care about the truth, just the spark, the tension, and the thrill." He released a big sigh as he crumpled the newspaper and threw it at a nearby trash bin. "It's idiotic." The stranger couldn't help but agree, and still. "That's just how it is, so the boss' order is to give you a ride. Commuting won't be good and stay clear of the girl. The agency thinks that she might be involved in this fiasco to entrap you." He narrowed his eyes dangerously at those words.

"Ease down boy, it's not my words. Anyway, let's go, can't get you late for school." At that point, Shin can't help but to agree as he followed the older male towards the car. He had always thought that he was happy for the first day of classes, but right now, not so much. Anyways, he would just put this matter aside for now. It's not like he could meet that girl again and if the agency's accusations were true, that girl would just disappear. So right now, he could focus on the reason for getting back to school, and that is none other than Yukito.

It wasn't that long when he arrived at Hajime School. The students who were already there looked at the car in curiosity. It was quite a luxurious one, so the passenger must be some rich person. "We're here sport, good luck and keep a low profile, kay?" Shin shook his head at that incredulously. "Yeah, with this car? I don't think so." The elderly man laughed a bit as Shin stepped out of the car which earned quite the 'oohhs... wows.... ahhhhs...'. The girls recognized him as some squealed in delight and was in excitement of his appearance, especially with him wearing the school uniform. "Isn't that the EDGE?" He could hear some whispers. "Our school is becoming a hot spot for celebrities!" They must also be referring of Yukito's attendance to the school. Well, that is also the reason why he is here.

"Hey sport, I'll pick you up later, kay?" Shin looked over his shoulder and gave a curt nod. "Fine." He then went towards the guards who looked at his presence in awe. He was quite the male specimen after all. "Excuse me, where's the Principal's Office?" He stated as the guards gave him instructions where to find it. He muttered his thanks and went ahead. After a few while, he soon reached the office and processed his papers. The secretary was obviously flustered and eyeing him like some candy. He was used to it especially being a model. "Here are your papers, Shin-kun." Shin raised an eyebrow at how the secretary called to him, but he didn't say anything else other than, "Thanks." He then exited the room before the secretary could say another word. He didn't like people who quickly assimilate themselves to him in such an overly casual manner. It would be another story if he was working or he couldn't find a suave way of getting out as not to damage his so-called reputation.

For now, he focused on where his classroom could be. Shin looked at his class schedule as he began his search. The students he passed by all looked at him while hearing words like another new one, EDGE, Lover, handsome, and so on. He was used to it, so he just takes it in stride. He turned around the corner and instantly stopped on his tracks. Students began another string of talks, because in front of his eyes was his light.

"School has finally began. As they say, this is the most fun in a youth's life. So, I'm ready to see what kind of fun awaits me, especially this year. There are a lot of different prospects and toys to play with. It seems I will indeed have a busy year."

This time the alarm did its job and brought Yukito back to the real world, but he stayed in bed for a few seconds while staring at the ceiling of his room with a disturbing empty eyes. He closed his eyes briefly and muttered in a rather bored tone. "School..., huh..." He then finally got up and prepared his morning rituals. It was still a bit early and he assumed the his brother and the new residents of the house were still sleeping. He had no idea that the girls were already gone. That's right, it's not just him and Kurou. He exited his room with his clothes and toiletries in tow. It seemed that no one was in as he entered and did his every morning hygiene. He was soon done and returned to his room to pick up his things for school. He did offer to walk in the mornings with that Nemui girl, but she never did give a definitive answer.

There goes his fun...

Anyways, he needed to prepare breakfast and took a look at his cellphone. There were a lot of messages and missed calls again, most were from his manager. She was a busybody as always, he scrolled down through the messages as he went towards the kitchen, now donning his school uniform for the first time as a high-schooler. "Work,,, work... work... oh... wedding... that's right." He looked at the nearby calendar hanging at the wall. It was tomorrow. His father sent him a message to have him arrange everything for the girls and his brother, there was also the request of him to sing for the reception. He released an annoyed sigh as he also clicked his tongue. "Tch... a hassle." He scratched the back of his head to show his frustration of the situation and then he took a deep breath. He must keep his mask on after all.

It was only at that point, he answered the messages and was no longer in the mood to make breakfast. He went to refrigerator and found a box of cereal and a breakfast meal which could be made through microwave. "This would do." He then made a note saying that breakfast is in the ref and placed it on the kitchen counter which could easily be seen by anyone. He just grabbed a few strawberries and munched on them as he exited the house. He didn't bother to check if anyone was up. He wanted some time to his own before he goes to school because once he's there, well, he would have to entertain full-time. Once he was at front, he hailed a cab, using public transportation won't be good for him. He actually did that and he got an earful from the agency and Haruko. He was literally mobbed by fans. Haruko offered to give him a ride, but he declined and chose this alternative.

He couldn't wait to be an adult and have his own car to drive.

The drive to school was quiet as he looked out the window, enjoying the scenery in his own way. He did notice though that the driver was looking at him through the rear-view mirror. "Something wrong?" He queried while finally meeting the cab driver's gaze. The older man was a bit flustered for being caught and managed to answer nervously. "Ah! N---Nothing's wrong... I---It's just that you're that famous Ichigo Fuwa, right?" Oh, the guy recognizes him? He gave the older man a bright smile. "Keep it a secret mister, okay?" The driver nodded in full agreement and finally got to the point. "Of course! My daughter is a huge fan of yours! So..., could I have your autograph?" Typical. He gave an energetic nod. "Sure, no problem at all." He was soon done with it at the exact moment they arrived at the school gates. "Here you go and my payment. Say hi for me to your daughter and thank you for supporting me." The driver was very pleased. "Absolutely!" He exited the cab and was instantly welcomed by amorous, envious, and curious eyes of the student body. There was even some excited squeals and chatter in the background.

His mask already intact as he welcomed the girls who immediately circled around him with a cheerful smile. "Good morning, Yukito-kun!" He answered them with such cordial and friendly manner. "Good morning, everyone! How's your vacation?" There were various answers and a lively conversation started around him. The guys also approached him, they were his classmates last year in middle-school, though he hadn't spend much of his time in classes, because of his current career. As expected, he was the center of attention. It was that point the clouds were getting darker and the rumbles of thunder echoed. He looked up and said, "We should go inside, we wouldn't want to get soak at the first day of classes." Everyone agreed with him as they enter the school building and began changing his shoes when a question perked his interest. "Yukito-kun, you know the model EDGE, right?" He looked at the one who asked.

"Yeah, we worked together and have the same agency." The girl asked was extremely happy at his answer. She was probably a fan of that guy. "Then... do you know if he really has a girlfriend? The news said he has one!" Then, he was shown the newspaper article as he looked at the incriminating picture and the article attached to it. There was silence around him as they waited for his answer, the confirmation. He couldn't help but smirk inwardly. This was something nice to play with him. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I could confirm or deny anything. We don't usually talk about private things, but if this is true, shouldn't you be happy for him?" The girl seemed to be taken down by a peg by his commentary which was done with a gentle smile.

After that, he continued on his way to the hallways. There were still a lot of people around him, engaging him conversation, but it soon stopped when they seemed to be interested in what was in front of him. He followed their gaze and saw the guy he being asked about. This day was certainly not boring. "Good morning, Leech-kun. I did hear you'd be attending school. This is a surprise." His voice was cheerful and friendly, but somehow there was a tension between the two. Shin seemed to finally regain his senses and answered back. "Yeah... Good morning." He approached Yukito within a few paces. It wasn't hard with his long legs and then placed his face near Yukito's ear. "It's Shi-Shi, remember?" The mere gesture and the closeness between the two made those around them blush and squeal in excitement. Yukito was unfazed as he looked at Shin, not minding the closeness between their faces. "You should be more mindful of your actions, I wouldn't want your lover to get a wrong impression." His smile didn't show anything dark, nor he's demeanor. But his words were enough to put Shin into a state of surprise as the older male took a step back. "That's not---"

Shin wasn't able to continue as Yukito cut him off. "Congratulations! Well, time to go to class. We can't be late now. Leech-kun." There was a sing-song tone ending to that as Yukito went on his way. Shin's appearance was surprising to him, but he would deal with that later. He went to his classroom and found familiar faces there. One was Nemui, so she was already here? Then, the neighbor guy. They seemed to be talking, but he was never the kind to find awkwardness in interrupting. "Good morning, Nemui-san," He started and then looked at Ren. "Good morning to you too, I didn't get your name last night. But, isn't this a coincidence, we're classmates." His expression than changed into something thoughtful. "Oh, Nemui-san. I forgot to give you this." He gave her the gate and house keys. He knew well what it meant doing this in front of many and he's going to enjoy it. "I did say I'll give you one, right?" His smile was very pleasant and good-natured as if what he's doing is completely right, but his intentions were not at all perfectly covered with that mask of his.

Then, the rain fell.

Shin could not say anything else as he watched Yukito walked away from him. His eyes narrowed into annoyance as he scratched the back of his head. This stupid tabloid just destroyed his good impression on Yukito. He couldn't help but click his tongue. "Tch. I hate those rags." He muttered under his breath as he decided to get to his class. The students murmured if the truth of rumors that Yukito and him being more than friends have any truth. He cast a look at them which effectively silenced them while taking their leave. It wasn't threatening or anything really, his look. He didn't like to display himself irresponsible especially with Yukito around. He would just think of a way to make it up to Yukito, but he couldn't help but be a bit disappointed. The younger male appeared to be unperturbed about him having a lover even if it was just a bunch of lies. "He could show a bit of jealousy." He stated inwardly as he soon found his room, but at that time, it was already raining and the school bell rang. There was also a suspicious wet trail by the door.

The teacher seemed to notice his presence by the door and determined that he must be one of the new students. Apparently, this is the best time to introduce the two new additions to the class. The teacher could already see the commotion about to happen, the two new students were very appealing in every angle. "Quiet down. This year we have two new students who would join the class." The teacher motioned for Shin to enter and then looked at the very exotic student present in the class. "If you two would come here in front of the class and introduce yourself." Shin entered the room where the female populace immediately swooned at his appearance, some squealed in delight knowing who he is. As for Aina, he stood from her seat and the males inside the classroom couldn't help attached their eyes on her form. "Settle down!" The teacher shouted to silence the class while pinching the bridge of his nose. He then looked at the two. "Go ahead."

Shin looked at the girl standing beside him who also glanced at him. "Would you like to go first?" Aina asked in a very gentle manner. Her presence was extremely hard not to notice and makes one very docile and comfortable. At the same time, Shin knew for a fact the girl was natural in every way. There was no make-up in sight at all. "Ladies first." Shin noted and Aina nodded gently as she faced the classroom. "Good morning, my name is Aina Malik. It is a pleasure to meet you all. I hope I can be friends with everyone." Her smile was sweet and gentle. There was no air of malice or a signature of her faking it. Her eyes of purple glistened with sincerity. She definitely stood out in terms of physical assets without doubt and probably even the inner ones. The class immediately roused to liveliness as questions were thrown at her way especially by the boys, like 'do you have a boyfriend" and so on.

Aina was a bit overwhelmed by the reaction as she did her best to answer the questions being thrown at her. She also seemed a bit troubled, but did her best to accommodate. The teacher began to get annoyed once more as he silenced the class. "Shut it!" He then looked at Shin when the class quieted down. "Your turn." Shin nodded at this and looked at the class. "Morning. Ogawa, Shin. I'll be in your care." This time, it was the girls' turn. Shin did his best as well to cordially answer the questions. He was used to it. Somehow, the teacher could not help but shake his head. It seemed that those reactions couldn't be helped with these two students. It made him wonder how the other homeroom teacher where Yukito is in charge is holding up. "Anyway! That's enough. You two take your seats. Malik-san, you can seat in the chair you already have. Ogawa-san, take that seat beside Fujioka-san." They both nodded as they made way to their seats.

Shin took his seat beside the one known as Fujioka. He cast a glance at her earlier at the front since the teacher pointed at her. She was obviously wet and from the water trail he found at the entrance, she must be part of the cause. He took his seat and kept to himself. The students would occasionally steal glances at him especially the females. Others would do their own way of getting his attention with the offer of friendship. He of course, answered in amicable manner, but not before the teacher would scold them as the lessons were underway. It was also the same for Aina who was apparently sitting beside Kurou, but this was put to a stop with the teacher's intervention. It was only now she noticed that his seatmate was soaking wet. It must be rather cold especially with the rain still pouring outside. The kind-hearted person as she is. She took out a towel inside her bag. Her mother reminded her to be always prepared. That flash of memory brought a tint of sadness in her, but she shook it off for now. "Excuse me, here please dry yourself." She offered her towel to Kurou with a gentle smile. "It would be terrible if you catch a cold." She was seriously worried about his health and nothing else. She was also unaware of Kurou's temperament, but this is simply how Aina is.

As for Shin, he removed his jacket which made the girls looked at him as some kind of eye candy. It's true that the girl beside her was having herself dry with a towel, but it wouldn't be enough to cover the wetness of her clothes in which most of the boys were liking the spectacle. "Hey." He called out to her. "Here." He then unceremoniously wrapped his jacket around her. It smelled rather good probably from his perfume, but then again, it seemed to have sweet scent seemingly natural. After doing that, he returned his attention at front and didn't say another word. Classes were starting after all.

"Quiet down. This year we have two new students who would join the class."

Kurumi felt her interest increase a bit as the teacher mentioned new students. She blinked a bit, her blue eyes scanning the room for new faces, but didn't notice anyone new, except for a foreign looking female. Where is the other new student? Her question was immediately answered when an ivory haired male entered the room. Kurumi's eyes widened slightly at the sight of him, but not for the same reason as the other girls. Kurumi tilted her head a bit while she tried to wrack her brain. This boy was vaguely peeking through her memories, and it was driving her nuts that she didn't remember anything else about him aside from the fact that she definitely had met him before.

"If you two would come here in front of the class and introduce yourself."

The girls around the room went into a frenzy, and she blinked in surprise. Was she supposed to know who this guy was from the get go? He looked familiar to her, but not on television like the other girls were yapping about. She felt as though she'd met him before, but she wasn't sure when. She didn't know him well enough to remember his name, but his presence was strangely familiar. Why does it feel like I've met you somewhere before..? Kurumi thought to herself as she dried her hair to the best of her ability. She wasn't worried about how she looked, she was the 'it' girl after all. Most of the girls in their school copied her fashion and makeup style, so she didn't care if they saw her natural skin for once, it'd only give them another reason to be jealous. The boys seemed to notice the dark skinned girl, and it caused Kurumi to quirk a brow. Would she be like the other girls? If she challenged Kurumi, she would knock this girl down a few pegs.. but if the girl didn't try to steal her crown, she'd share some of the limelight with her, so long as she didn't get too greedy.

"Settle down!"

Kurumi smiled a bit, silently giggling at the teacher's irritation. Then her attention turned to the class and she pressed a finger to her lips with a wink before turning her attention back to the two students. She was very interested, and she wanted to hear them without the annoying chatter of the class as well.

"Would you like to go first?"

The girl's voice sounded sweet and welcoming, but Kurumi knew better than to judge a book by it's cover. Kurumi wasn't nearly as cheerful or energetic as she portrayed herself to be, so she wouldn't trust her first instincts when it came to this girl either. Her own facade was enough to make her skeptical. It was at this moment that Kurumi realized she wasn't the only one who wasn't wearing makeup today. The dark skinned girl wasn't wearing any as far as she blonde could tell, and that was enough to make her grin. The girls at this school would put her through living hell if she didn't stand up for herself. Nemui experienced it enough, so Kurumi knew what other girls would do to a cute face if they weren't confident enough to defend themselves.

"Ladies first."

The boy told the girl to go first, and Kurumi felt his voice clawing at her memory. His voice was just as familiar as his presence, but she still couldn't remember anything. Not knowing how she knew him was quite maddening. She wasn't sure if he was trying to be a gentleman, or if he was stalling, but she tried to have a little faith in chivalry. Ironically enough, Kurumi was currently sitting mere feet from the ex boyfriend who mercilessly shot her view of chivalry in the head.

"Good morning, my name is Aina Malik. It is a pleasure to meet you all. I hope I can be friends with everyone."

...Well isn't she a dreamer. Kurumi thought to herself, but couldn't help smiling a bit. She was a bit envious of the dark skinned girl's ability to honestly believe such a delusional fantasy. Kurumi was slapped with reality a long time ago, and she opened her eyes to the harsh truths of the world. She wasn't naive enough to think that she could get along with everyone in the class, and she hoped the other girl would wake up from that assumption before someone else crushed that aspiration with their cruelty. The boys asked their typical questions and Kurumi rolled her eyes. A girl like that would never date average guys like them... Did their father's forget to explain what 'out of your league' means? She asked herself with a hint of curiosity, but her mood was laced with irritation more than anything. The boys of the class were being annoyingly disruptive.

"Shut it!" The teacher snapped at the class before returning his attention to the new male student, "Your turn."

Kurumi's eyes landed on the white haired male once more, growing a bit anxious. She was so upset that she could have punched herself in agitation. She couldn't place her finger on it, but she was absolutely certain that she'd met this guy somewhere before.

"Morning. Ogawa, Shin. I'll be in your care."

Everything finally clicked into place as he spoke his name. Kurumi finally remembered him! She had seen him around her mother's studio. They did a photo shoot together! Him and Mama, it all makes sense now. Kurumi thought to herself with a nod. She knew that it wasn't a big deal, especially since Nemui and her were just doing their homework just a few feet off of the shooting site. It wasn't something that should have been very memorable, but she did remember him. She tilted her head, wondering how disruptive Yukito and Nemui's class was compared to this one, especially since the Junior class was typically the boring class aside from girls swooning over Kurou every year.

"Anyway! That's enough. You two take your seats. Malik-san, you can seat in the chair you already have. Ogawa-san, take that seat beside Fujioka-san."

Kurumi couldn't help but tense up. Did he remember her? She doubted it, but she hoped that he didn't. She'd gotten in a huge argument with her mother that same day, and she didn't want anyone outside of her mother's fashion agency to be aware. That day was one of many where she'd completely shut down her mother's attempts to recruit her as a model. Shizuka always spends half of her time around Kurumi begging her to do a photo shoot, and if her classmates knew that she was turning down a chance for fame, it would bring up unnecessary questions.. She didn't want anyone to find out about her health or self-consciousness. If all went well, she'd be just another new face to Shin, and that is what Kurumi prayed to be.

"Excuse me, here please dry yourself."

Kurumi overheard the new girl as she spoke to Kurou, bringing it to Kurumi's attention that Kurou had gotten rained on as well. He ddidn't seem to be near as drenched as she had been, but in the midst of her haste, she hadn't noticed him much at all. He looks so different now.. She thought to herself with a solemn expression, turning her head so that she was now facing the front of the room. She closed her eyes and let out a silent but heavy sigh. Was it all just a lie? She rhetorically asked herself, fingers gripping at the towel she was still gently massaging over her now damp hair.

"It would be terrible if you catch a cold."

A cold..? That's not unlikely.. especially considering how cold it is in here.. Kurumi thought to herself, a shiver running down her spine. She didn't even realize that she'd been trembling this entire time, but the air conditioning in this building was top notch so she wasn't all that surprised.

"Hey." She heard Shin call out, but she wasn't aware that she was the recipient of his words. She was so lost in thought that she didn't immediately realize she was the one that Shin was currently talking to, "Here."

It wasn't until he spoke again that her head quickly turned to look at him directly. Her blue eyes shifted to Shin and a questioning look adorned her face. She still wasn't certain if he was referring to her, and she was even more confused about why he was half dressed, at least by the school's dress standards. Shin came across as even more aesthetically pleasing without the school's jacket than he did with it on, and she noted that the whispering got a bit louder now that he'd removed it. Though when he draped the jacket over her shoulders, she finally responded as any girl would have. Her cheeks exploded into a deep shade of pink, and she blinked several times just to be sure that this wasn't a figment of her imagination. EH!? J-Jacket? This is really embarrassing.. Everyone is staring! She realized that her mind definitely wasn't playing tricks on her, and she found herself at a loss of words.

She could smell faint traces of cologne or perhaps shampoo, she wasn't certain which it was.. but it was a relaxing scent, especially during the ongoing storm. She could almost physically feel the envious glares against her back, and she bit her lower lip in response. It was a little embarrassing wearing his jacket, but he definitely restored a lot of her faith in chivalry. She finally found her voice so she leaned over just slightly, one hand grasping the jacket to keep it from falling off of her shoulders, "I'm Fujioka, Kurumi and I'm very grateful. Arigato, Ogawa-san." She whispered in a hushed tone to Shin. She avoided making eye contact so that the teacher wouldn't catch them, but also because she was still blushing. She at least owed him her gratitude, so she forced the words out before she lost her nerve.

Kurou Kitomura
I'm evil, stop laughing!

Eww, kindness. Pleasantry. Friendliness.

Although Kurou had originally decided to take the introductions as an excuse to relax his eyes for a little bit, he could not drown out the sound of the students as they gave them, which meant that he had gotten to hear everything that was spoken, and because of his dislike for anything to do with 'kindness' and the like, he really couldn't react any other way than with disgust. Perhaps it may have been a disguise to fool the class, but something about the woman's tone and voice made it clear that she was at least used to such words. When Kurou tried to say the word "friend", it was noticeably more difficult than when this Aina chick did it. Well, he could just be overthinking it. Maybe she was just really great at acting? That was best to assume. After all, he learned firsthand that being nice got you nothing in return. It actually took things away. Important things. Kindness and chivalry.... they were just such flawed traits nobody should bother with, at least he thought so.

Placing his head back on the desk, Kurou tried to enjoy the rest of the introductions as much as he could. From what he gathered, the other student didn't seem to stray much from the generic intro most kids gave, which was perfectly fine by him. Even still, when he was done the rest of the class seemed just as interested in him as they did the girl who came before him. He hadn't actually bothered to get a really good look on the guy, so maybe he was just attractive? Typically, this was the case when the class got excited. They really were quite fond of their prettiest members. Though Kurou shouldn't be thinking about this as though it does not related to him. He may not be the "hottest" guy in the class, but he was definitely up there.

"Excuse me, here please dry yourself. It would be terrible if you catch a cold."

In all honesty, Kurou hadn't even noticed that this new girl had even approached him, let alone grab something from her bag and offer it to him. He looked up at her for a minute as if confused, before looking down at the towel she had presented to him. Now that he had thought about it, he was rather cold. It didn't really help the air conditioning was probably what this school blew most of its budget on. But soldiering onwards, he accepted to proposed towel, but not before noticing the pleasant scent it had. Girls really do like smelling good, don't they? Well, now it would have wet Kurou smell on it, however bad that might be. He wiped his face, hair, and neck thoroughly. Females who weren't staring in awe at Shin were gifted with the sight of something Kurou pulled off much better than anybody else: unkempt hair.

Of course, the bishounen shine and slow-motion came with it.

He felt much better now that he wasn't as damp. But... he had acknowledge this lady's generosity, even if it were a bit sickening. Looking back up to the young woman, he saw a disturbingly-bright smile on her face. It was actually almost painful to look at. Did she do this genuinely, or.... ? It didn't take a very good detective to solve that mystery. Her smile was not faked, or so it appeared even to the skeptical Kurou. This, of course, made him feel really awkward. Part of him resented the ability to do that, because that's exactly what he used to do. But another part just.... felt envious around people who could smile like her.

Maybe he should do something to wipe that smile off her face?

"Yeah.... thanks." He finally replied, offering the towel back to her and turning his face away. He then added, "Kurou Kitomura, by the way. Try not to forget it. I don't care to introduce myself more than once." There were, of course, many excuses for this exact response, when normally he'd go out of his way to make sure she wasn't so kind to him again.

Because it's the first day of school, so I don't want to bother right now!

The teacher would just give me a lecture if I caused a scene!

She's new here, so I can't just destroy her day!

Kurou tried not to think about it. Most others were paying attention to the other new kid anyways, so it wasn't likely to cause much of a fuss to start with. Speaking of, what was that new guy doin---

Oh, perhaps I was mistaken?

Kurou watched as Kurumi's face went from a normal, fair shade to a color quite similar to his thought font color a beet. Of course, this was incited by the most generic of gentlemanly moves, one that any man should know if he were looking for love in highschool or even college or university. The old "give her your jacket" trick. Yes, such a wonderfully easy move that required one to have but a jacket, and for the female in question to either be cold or wet, or both (Giggity). Kurou had seen it done many times before, and even done it himself during one point of his life (that was, of course, before the shooting). Generally, it was more effective the more attractive you were, and how suave your voice sounded. Kurou wouldn't be able to pull it off anymore on any of the students that knew him for obvious reasons, but because this young man, Shin, was new, then he had no problems doing so.

What a beast.

Kurou admired the man's technique. While some birds sang to court their partners, and some crabs danced, humans were unique. Instead of dancing, singing, or the like, they instead offered but a jacket. That, or depending on the vanity of the woman, copious amounts of jewelry, but that was not the case here. One jacket to swoon them all.

....

....

....

Kurou, of course, did not actually find the sight entertaining. Instead, he immediately became disappointed with the fact Kurumi was blushing so easily. Simply throwing a jacket on a girl should not evoke such a fierce blush at this day and age. Maybe when they were younger, sure, but that was back when the scariest and most intimate things kids could think of were holding hands and kissing.

Well, it wasn't like it concerned him anyways and unless someone else spoke to him, he just returned his head to the desk.

ImageWell, Yukito had initially thought that school would be as boring as he had remembered before. That was not the case at all. He was instead welcomed on his first day by many events that at their own stood out to be an opportunity for him to have his delectable time playing with. There was the fact of having the chance to toy with his so-called stepsisters, and then there was the Leech, now, this paranoia girl who reminded him of a certain individual. This year was starting to be a salad of many chaotic opportunities for him.

His thoughts stopped for a while as he watched the two new additions introduced themselves. In order for him to perfectly unnerve his prey, he was naturally perceptive and keenly observant.

That's why he noticed that look which the paranoia girl had given Ren. What could be the meaning behind that? It seemed to be triggered by what the neighbor boy had said which has only three important points as far as he's concerned. The name, the place, and the meaning of Ren's casual greeting, among those factors something struck a chord on that girl. Another fine point, he would use to his advantage in the near future. At the moment, his attention shifted to Nemui who also seemed to be affected by Ren's introduction. This one was not of surprise, but of pleasantness. She giggled and had a smile on her lips. He elegantly tilted his head and placed his elbow on his desk while his chin was delicately placed at the back of his hand. The mere movement was without doubt dazzling as some of the girls were overly delighted by that sight.

As for him, he was inwardly seething on how to rip that smile of hers apart. Yes, he was rather diabolical and cruel isn't it? But much like how his brother outwardly changed, he did so inwardly, it was more perfect for his sadistic tendencies. She was simply unlucky for allowing her mother to marry his father. This is what they must call an unfortunate coincidence. "Hmm... I feel a bit envious." He muttered enough for Nemui to hear. His eyes never left her profile. "Do you like Suzuki-san?" He asked in a manner that did not betray any emotions. It was but a friendly question of course. "Well, if you need advice on such matters. I'd be happy to help." He added with a hint of cheerfulness and then proceeded to look at the front for the teacher began the roll call. Ah that's right, there was something else to be said.

"Just call me Yukito-san if it's alright. After all, I do call you Nemui-san. Plus if my brother and I are at the same place and you call out to any of us like that, also if my father is present. It would be confusing, right?" He ended it with a kind smile and then responded to the teacher's call who had called the name of the Paranoia girl first, and then his. "Kitomura, Yukito." He looked at the teacher and then gave a friendly smile. "Here, sensei." and, it continued on. He didn't strike another conversation with Nemui after that as he focused on the lessons. It was not every day that he would be able to attend. He does have a busy schedule for next week as his manager had shown him. That's why moments he could get to spend in school was important, but that was not the case for Ren who seemed to have the knack of being a comedian.

The guy had obviously stated the most common used excuses that even if it was the truth would not be judge as that. The result, detention. He couldn't help but laughed inwardly at that. The guy was fine on his book as far as he is concerned, more than that; Nemui seemed to like the guy, although not on the romantic level for now. It would be useful for him to have the guy nearby. "Daidouji-sensei." The teacher looked at Yukito. "What is it Kitomura-kun?" He smiled kindly at the teacher and spoke his piece. "I would like you to reconsider giving Suzuki-san, a detention. This is the first day of school. Why not give him a second chance? I'd take responsibility for it, next time." The teacher looked at him with surprise and then considered what has been said. He soon caved in by sighing. "If you're willing to go that far… Suzuki-san." He looked at Ren. "You better be thankful for Kitomura-kun's intervention. Detention lifted."

That went well as Yukito aired his gratitude for it of course. "Thanks, Daidouji-sensei." At the same time, that was another plus point for him as his classmates looked at him in a more adoring light than before. For him, he was making his move one step at a time.
ImageShin's actions were for the most part by instinct than because of other intentions that people might think. He simply disliked the idea of a girl being taken advantaged of especially when he's around and can do something about. It was some of the morals his mother raised him with and he kept it with him as much as possible. It was in a way of a memento, right? At the same time, he wasn't bothered by the possible rumors that could start because of this. It wasn’t true anyway. He was also used to it since he is part of the entertainment industry.

On the other hand, his eyes roamed a bit towards the new girl Aina who seemed to be offering assistance to a boy who was also wet. His eyes narrowed a bit, not because of any negativity, more like the guy resembles that of Yukito, and some features.

Could it be possible that they’re relatives? That’s right he did hear that Yukito's older brother studies here as well. Could this be him? If that was so, then-- But his thoughts did not continue on that path as he heard a voice beside him, his eyes of pale blue, almost like lavender looked at the girl named Fujioka, Kurumi as she introduced herself and said her thanks.

It was clear to him that she was blushing. He had been around women to know how they react, but he didn't see this as a bad thing. He also didn't make anything big out of it. She was already trying her best to speak her gratitude to him, by the looks of it. Somehow, her reaction reminded him of that girl from last night. That's right, that simple interaction has now become a bane of his existence this morning. Oh well... "Don't worry about it." He spoke in a smooth yet thick baritone voice. There were no underlying intentions identifiable behind his words. He was simply imparting what he believed is logical and right. "I don’t want you to get sick and you’re not a piece of meat." His eyes then returned at front, hoping that lunch would come. That way, he could see his light again. It was he's only reason coming here anyway.
ImageAina was smiling with the purest intentions towards her seatmate who soon took her towel. She was truly happy for that as he made quick work of drying himself. It was a good thing that he was really doing his best in that. It seemed he didn’t also want to get a cold. She was of course completely oblivious to his charms that actually most girls find very attractive. It was probably due to the fact; she knew that love and such things would be impossible for someone like her. It will just cause further heartbreak on both sides. That's why there was not a sparkle of interest within her.

Her towel was soon returned to her as he said his thanks. She took back the towel and noticed how he looked away afterwards. She wondered if there was something wrong, but he appeared to be fine. "You're welcome... Uhmm"

That's right she forgot to get his name. It was rude of her. She has no idea who he is exactly, but that was given to her soon enough. Her eyes widen a bit and then had the brightest smile at this very moment. "Of course, Kitomura-san!" She was happy at his response even if most would found it crass and rough. For her, it seemed that she had made a friend. She did, didn't she? It was a good thing as they were going to be seatmates now. She quickly turned to her journal and began writing down on it. She wouldn't want to forget this. It was clear that she was happy with what happen.

She finished writing what happened and then she folded her towel and placed it back inside her bag. She was glad that the wisdom of her mother helped her made a friend quickly. She completely has a different perception at the moment, but that’s simply how she is. She glanced at him and noticed something else. Oh, Kitomura-san, you have something on your face. She pointed out as she tilted her head and adorably peeked at her face. She wasn’t thinking anything behind her actions. It was simply normal for her.

Kurumi couldn't help but notice that Kurou and the new girl, Aina, were getting along rather swimmingly. Something about it irked her, but she wasn't aware that the feeling was jealousy. Kurou and Aina were conversing in a friendly manner, at least as friendly as Kurou was ever going to get these days. She understood that he started changing when his mother died, hell, it was all over the news for weeks.. Yet, she couldn't accept that he was still behaving this way. Her father died a slow and painful death right before her eyes. He battled his illness for years and she was there to witness him shedding pounds and vomiting blood. She understood how death could change a person, especially a child... but how did that give him an excuse to be sour to everyone even years later? His behavior made her blood boil sometimes. He pushed everyone away slowly in the time after his mother's murder, Kurumi especially.

He currently seemed to be doing fine as far as interacting with the new girl went, and that drove her a bit crazy. She wished that he would have given her a real reason, some kind of tangible closure. Breaking up with her without giving her a solid reason was simply bewildering. Did he want her to suffer trying to make heads or tails of his behavior, or did he simply not care enough to end things properly?

"Don't worry about it."

Thankfully she received a reply from her seatmate, Shin. He was the boy who lent her his jacket and the boy she was currently expressing her gratitude to, well, before her mind wandered off that is. She blinked a bit at his casual tone. Was there really anything she could say to that? He didn't leave her with a lot of room to reply, not that she blamed him. They were in the middle of class after all.. What was I honestly expecting him to say..? Kurumi thought to herself, slightly disappointed in herself for expecting more.

"I don’t want you to get sick and you’re not a piece of meat."

She was left speechless for a moment, taken aback by Shin's words. He wasn't flirting or anything, in fact it was the exact opposite. To hear that he didn't see her as an object to be sought after or 'piece of meat' as Shin put it, that was a huge relief and brought a warm smile to her features. Most of the boys in their class treated her like a trophy or porcelain doll, and it was maddening. She liked being popular, but she didn't like the ogling and awkward perverted stares that accompanied it, "Arigato, Ogawa-San." She replied with a smile, before returning her attention to the teacher. She didn't want to get Shin in trouble, especially after his act of kindness.

She was growing bored, but she listened to the lecture, that is until the next surge of thunder roared through the building. Kurumi's blue eyes widened in a pure, unfiltered sense of fear. She immediately shot from her desk without giving anyone in the room any obvious warning. However, she managed to play off her fear with unexpected grace, "Sensei, please excuse me, I am not feeling well!" She alerted the teacher in rushed manner, who excused the blonde that sprinted out of the classroom shortly after she was given the 'go ahead'.

Kurumi made a beeline for the girl's restroom once she was in the halls. The bathrooms were one of the only rooms with no windows, so as a result the sound didn't tear through them as loudly as it would in the classroom. The girl's bathroom was an ideal spot to wait the storm out at. Kurumi sat in one of the stalls, sitting on the back of the toilet (the part where the water builds up) with her hands over her ears. She kept this position until the storm cleared up, and she exited the stall. She was now fully dry, and she combed through her hair with her fingers, successfully salvaging her light blonde locks.

She ran Shin's blazer under the hand dryers for a few minutes before returning to class, giving the teacher an apologetic look. She received a warning glare, but apparently the teacher wasn't aware of her habit of leaving class on stormy days. It was a bit of gossip among the teachers, but most of the students hadn't made the connection either. Kurumi was present for the last subject before lunch, but missed half of the first and all of the second. She'd have to get a photocopy of the day's notes or Nemui would skin her alive when they got home..

She retrieved her bento from her locker in the back of the room and returned to her seat. For some reason her lunch felt heavier than usual, and she tilted her head in confusion, but the cause for it quickly dawned upon her. She didn't notice it earlier, because she was late, but there were two bento lunches in her makeshift bag. The two were identical, so she gave the lunch to the only human pig that she knew in the room. She would have offered it out loud, but then most of the boys would have fought over it. The easiest and least violent way to rid herself of the extra food was to just give it to Kurou, the boy who lacked table manners.

"Ne-chan made too much. Sometimes she forgets that she's already made mine and makes my bento twice. You're the only person I know who can eat two. Knock yourself out." That was all that she said to her 'ex' and 'brother' before returning to her seat. He was in the second seat of the second row, and she was in the fourth row and sat in the second seat of that row. There was one student that was sitting between them earlier, but they were out socializing for the lunch period. Aina was on the opposite side of Kurou, and Shin was to Kurumi's left, in row five, the second seat from the front, just like the others that she noted.

She knew that giving a boy a bento meant a lot to those around her, but she simply opened her original bento, "Itadakimasu.." She mumbled under her breath, and began eating quietly. When she reach for a second bite, she suddenly remembered something. She retrieved Shin's jacket from the back of her chair, seeing as she couldn't have handed it to him in the middle of class, "Oi, Ogawa-San.. I forgot, here's your jacket." She handed him the jacket, realizing that it probably smelled like a mixture of Shin's cologne and her favorite strawberry-vanilla perfume, but there wasn't a lot that she could do. It wasn't like there was a washing machine in the building, at least not one she was allowed to use. At least the perfume didn't actually smell like most perfumes. The scent was light and fruity, and actually smelled like real vanilla and strawberries. It took her ages to find the brand, and now she swears by it, although it is a bit expensive. I hope he doesn't mind the perfume smell.. Do boys even like strawberry and vanilla scents? she thought nervously, discreetly biting the inside of her cheek.

Shin did not fine the need to answer back when his female seatmate offered another word of thanks. He wasn't exactly sure what for as he simply stated what he thinks. He just continued drowning himself in the the waiting game and would occasionally allow himself to listen to the teacher's lectures which was mostly useless to him in his honest opinion. For most part, the class continued without anymore hassle. The only thing that can be noted was the sudden loud sound of lightning filling the room like electricity. It was at that point Kurumi suddenly stood and excused herself.

People appeared not to connect the dots from that reaction, but somehow he believed that her getting out of the room was related to nature's spectacle of loud lights. It was rather strong for a reaction. This meant that she was very scared of it. Well, he wasn't going to say something about it. It's normal for people to have something they fear. It is even true to him. Yes, he does fear. That's why he didn't spare any attention to it and focused himself on other things, like classes and just like that, time passed on. He would at times converse with others who would initiate small conversations, especially the girls.

The teacher was actually having a hard time making the class behave around him and even towards the new girl. Somehow, he does feel bad about the teacher who was rather upset since everyone was more attentive of them than the lessons. Well, that's life and that's when lunch finally came. The bell rang meaning that morning classes have ended and that instantly lit up his mood. He was going to find where Yukito's classroom is and ask the guy to lunch. It shouldn't be that hard since he knew for a fact that the young pop idol was famous even more so in this school.

He didn't have those boxed lunches and no one is going to prepare anyone for him in this case. It is only right that he get his lunch at the cafeteria. It was at that point, some of the girls immediately surrounded him, asking if they could have lunch together and the dreaded if what was on the magazine was true. He really didn't have time for this, but he must adapt. He politely turned down their offers with telling them that he would make it up for them next time since he has an appointment with someone and then, he denied any truth to the article. It was all in a day's work he would say and that was when he heard the familiar voice of his seatmate, Kurumi.

She handed his jacket back since she doesn't need it judging by her appearance. "Okay. Thanks." He took it and aptly wore it and that's when he got a whiff of something foreign. "Strawberry?" He muttered under his breath as the surprise registered on his face briefly. He then looked back at Kurumi. "Is it your perfume?" He asked out of curiosity. It's not because he hated it as he listened to his answer. "It's nice. I like it." He stated while taking another whiff of the scent from his collar before properly wearing it. He just didn't close the buttons. "Later." He then left the room and began his search for Yukito.

On the other hand, the said Yukito was having a fun time with Nemui. Her flustered reactions were something he would like more to see. This is his sadistic side speaking actually, but he was a bit disappointed when she settled with calling him by Fuwa. It wasn't an issue really. For now, he would let it go at that and soon enough classes ended for the morning and lunch was underway. Thinking about it, he didn't prepare any boxed lunches. It had slipped his mind as he inwardly shrugged about it. There was always the school cafeteria. It would suffice for now. He then stood from his seat as girls and even boys surrounded him in a dozen. Everyone was asking about eating lunch with him or those who were brave enough wanted to confirm, if Nemui was truly his sister.

ImageOf course, he answered it all as pleasantly polite as he could. He confirmed that Nemui is indeed his soon-to-be sister. There was no help in denying that. Plus, it would also allow him certain privileges now it has been exposed. From the corner of his eyes, he could see that Nemui went to Ren. The guy had thanked him earlier for his intervention, but there was something else that interested him, that interaction between him and Nemui. Yukito was surely going to use that to his advantage in the near future. He was only taken from his moment when his classmates if they could join him for lunch. Well, he had no other plans and was about to answer when someone else did for him. "I'm sorry, but I would like for him to have lunch with me instead."

At that point, girls immediately screeched in surprise and in delight, because there he was in all of his glory, Shin leaning casually at the doorway. Yukito could not help but inwardly rolls his eyes. He wasn't selfish in terms of attention. He was fine sharing it. It is also a fact that Shin was such a vision and that's why he's a model, but the screeching could be toned down. It's rather deafening. He might go deaf and that wouldn't be good for his career for starters. He then released a soft sigh and that playful smile was on his lips. "I don't believe I made an appointment with you, Leech-kun." Yukito retorted with all of his cheerful politeness as his orange eyes landed on Shin. He should have known the guy would seek him out quickly. As for the said man, he shrugged his shoulders and removed himself from the entryway and casually took a seat in an empty chair beside Yukito. The one who owned it was probably off having lunch somewhere.

Image"It's Shi-Shi, and since you are technically my senpai, would you not be kind to your kouhai?" Shin offered a smile at the end which made those around them blush furiously. Yukito sighed at this and contemplated defeat, since the man was using their status in the agency. That's when he remembered someone inside the room which would be entertaining. "I see, but would it not be disrespectful to your girlfriend that you would chose lunch with me than with her." His eyes of citrine gold held nothing malicious about anything. It was like declaring that it's raining outside. Shin raised an eyebrow at this and shook his head. "What are you saying? That's---" Shin said as he looked at the direction where Yukito pointed and his eyes of lavender widened slightly in surprise. "It's you, that girl..." He muttered under his breath.

Yukito then stood from his seat. "I would be leaving you both to it then." He then went towards the exit as Shin quickly returned his attention to the younger boy. "Huh? Wait, Yu--" Yukito smiled at him. "You better clear things up. No one wants a player, Leech-kun. I'll see you later then." He exited the room with only a wave of hand while he had that devilish smile inwardly, because his outward appearance never betrayed any of his malicious deeds. As for Shin, he released a rather frustrated sigh and could feel the stares from the other students. It was like piercing wanting to know the truth between him and this girl who he had thought never to see again.

In regards to the other newcomer to the school, Aina was rather pleased in the overall experience she is having thus far. Everyone was rather friendly including her seatmate. When she told him about something on his face, he immediately removed. "It's all gone now. You did a good job, Kitomura-san." She noted as she pulled away and settled comfortably in her seat. She was like that for the remainder of the classes and she was rather studious as she listened intently to the teacher. The thunder and lightning did not bother her as much as her seatmate is concerned or another girl in the class who excused herself. It made her wonder if the girl was fine. It would be terrible if she got sick or something. Perhaps, she could offer some medicine. Her grandfather is quite the apothecary.

She jotted it down and soon lunch had arrived. She stretched her arms forward and noticed that Kitomura was already out. He must be going to the cafeteria for lunch. As for her, she prepared her own packed lunch. She took it out as other of her classmates mostly boys asked to have lunch together. She did not see any harm in that and was about to agree, but the girls quickly blocked it and instead invited her. "Why don't we all eat lunch together?" And that is what exactly happened, as they all eat together. Aina's friendly and comforting presence made the transition of having lunch rather a pleasant experience. It was at that point, they started to leave her when Kitomura returned, but not before saying that her cooking was exceptional. Well, it is.

ImageAina was oblivious that Kitomura rather has a bad personality reputation which most students try to be out of the way for. Soon, it was just her and Kitomura but then, the female student who was not feeling well appeared and gave him a bento. That was a very nice gesture and the two seemed to know each other. She gave them their space as she simply jotted the events in her journal to remember by. She was only startled a bit when she remembered there was still some fruits she packed for deserts. She took it out and then opened it which revealed it to be strawberries. It was quite a lot since someone gave them to her grandfather. It would be best if she shared them. She was still in her thoughts when she heard Kitomura saying oishi, that meant delicious as she looked at him.

"I'm glad you're enjoying your lunch Kitomura-san." She warmly smiled and then remembered her strawberries. "Oh, would you like some for dessert?" She added as she then showed him the strawberries. She was unaware that it was something that her seatmate liked it very much and here she was going to share it to everyone in the class.

Himeko had just removed her bento and chopsticks from her bag, but she immediately dropped them on her desk. Thankfully, the boxed lunch did not open, but she didn't even glance to check on it. She was mortified as she stared at Yukito and his companion. It was THAT guy, the guy she bumped into yesterday, and the cause of this huge mess! What was he doing here, in her class to beat it all! Her blood was boiling. She couldn't tell what he was saying to Yukito, because she never was any good at reading lips, but she didn't care. The fact that those two were friends, suddenly didn't surprise her very much. They physically complimented each other, which kind of sickened her more. She lost a bit of respect for the white haired male for associating with someone as cocky and teasing as Yukito. Perhaps it was just a bias? Likely. Did Himeko care? Not really.

"I see, but would it not be disrespectful to your girlfriend that you would chose lunch with me than with her."

"Eh?!" She asked in a surprised tone, blinking several times to make sure that she had heard him right. Immediately Himeko rose from her desk, smacking her hands down on the wooden surface with a glare, "I am NOT his girlfriend!"

"What are you saying? That's--- It's you, that girl..."

She didn't even hear what Shin said, to the boy in return, mostly due to her loud denial, but when she saw him saying something quietly while looking in her direction, she immediately grew irritated. Why was he acknowledging her!? Especially after Yukito had said 'girlfriend'! Was he TRYING to spring about more rumors!?

"I would be leaving you both to it then."

"You can't go around spreading lies then tuck your tail between your legs, you scardy cat asshole!" Himeko snapped at Yukito in a loud tone, her teeth gritting now. Despite being quite pretty, she definitely had a temper. She also had it out for all males. She began to imagine the violent things that she would do to Yukito, but since he was across the room, she'd have to make mental notes for later. She'd never catch him.

"Huh? Wait, Yu--"

She was a bit surprised when the other guy tried to stop Yukito, but she shoved her thoughts aside. He was probably just asking the guy to wait for him. She doubted that he intended to tell the truth about the article. Why would he? Guys enjoyed being able to say that they had been with multiple girls after all. Whether it was true or not, she was now seen as one of his hookups by the general public at the very least, and that angered her even more.

"You better clear things up. No one wants a player, Leech-kun. I'll see you later then."

"The next time I see you, Kitomura-Teme..." Himeko hissed, clenching her fist tightly. Her left eye was visibly twitching out of irritation. She wanted to pummel Yukito to death, but she had a feeling that several of the girls in the room would get in her way before she got a chance to strike him even once, at least right now. She'd wait for a chance some other time, but she vowed to herself that she would let him have it if she ever got another chance.

She noticed the dagger-like glares that she was receiving, a sour expression crossing her lips. She thought that she had squashed this for good, yet she was once again caught up in this mess, "He might enjoy the publicity, because it boosts his popularity, but I don't want it." She snapped, her voice not nearly as cheerful as usual, in fact she looked fairly pissed. Her eyes were narrowed, her her voice was sharp, demanding attention. Her tone refused to accept nonsense, and her stance was strong. She was fed up with this, but in truth, she felt alone. She didn't want to be friends with any of the boys, and thanks to this guy, all of the girls would hate her too, "I don't want anything to do with this guy. Honestly, I don't care about boys, especially attention craving ones." Her voice was a bit lower, and she was slightly shaking under everyone's gaze. Despite her strong front, she was utterly terrified. Was it happening again? Would she have to switch schools again? Why was she always judged because of this school's pretty boys?

She grabbed her bag and shoved her way through the crowd, stopping near Shin, "I have no feelings for this guy, he's a stranger to me. He's all yours, he's not my type anyway." She stated to all of the insanely jealous girls in the room, wishing to get them off of her back at any cost. She didn't care about his feelings, after the way she was treated in middle school, she felt that boys didn't have hearts anyhow. Her gold eyes kept straight at the wall, but she whispered to only Shin, "Tell your boyfriend that I don't give a shit who you are, and I don't need or want this attention that circles you... Just stay away from me." She had a strong start, but her voice finally hitched toward the end, when she demanded that he keep his distance. She wanted to befriend the girls in her class, which would never happen if this news article didn't blow over. He was ruining her high school experience before it even got a chance to start.

As the class began discussing whether or not to believe her or the news article, Himeko could feel tears beginning to swell up in her eyes. This felt just like before, and the faint whispers were driving her nuts. She had to get out of here. Painful memories of Kurou denying her love confession and the bullying that followed were surfacing, and she didn't want anyone to see her like that, because they'd probably misunderstand the cause of it, or worse, remember her.

She was so upset that she left her bento and chopsticks on her desk without taking even a bite out of it, but she had to get out of there. She made her way up to the roof. When she opened the door, she noticed that although the storm was over, it was still lightly sprinkling. She stepped out into the sunlight, approaching the protective fence that was put up to prevent suicide. She let her forehead press against the cold, wet metal and she gripped at it with both hands and closed her eyes. She was of course getting a bit wet, but she didn't really mind. In fact, it was helping to soothe her angry soul. This day is the worst, Ren.. In fact, there's a boy in my class named Ren too.. Every time that someone says it, it stings a little.. I wish you were here.. It's so hard without you, Ren..

"No."

"T-That's a relief." Nemui didn't realize that what she had said was strange or could have been taken as a joke. She wasn't very comical, and seldom caught on to jokes when they were told to her. She was quite oblivious to most forms of humor, mostly because she didn't spend much time watching television, "Uhm, I-If you want we can print out copies from my textbook in the library until you get a new one...?" She offered, turning her attention the window and lowering her gaze. Though there was so much commotion in the room that she was distracted from her nerves for a bit. Yukito was giving the new girl a hard time, even though she knew that he heard her say the rumor was false.. Why would he do that... Revenge? Is he really that kind of person though?

"I forgot mine at home."

Nemui couldn't help but giggle at Ren's reaction before he told her that he had left his food at home. He wasn't intimidating like Kurou and Yukito, or even Yukito's friend that was in the rumor article Himeko was also in. Ren was somewhat silly, and easy to talk to, well easier. Nemui still was a shy person, so it didn't matter if he was Siri, she'd still get nervous while speaking.

"Y-you can have half of mine, I have a second set of chop sticks..just in case I drop mine." Then her cheeks flushed as she realized how sharing a lunch might have sounded. She sat the decently sized bento on his desk, then raised her hands in a defensive manner, "W-we don't have to eat out of the same compartments." She stated quickly. She read a lot of manga and deeply understood the meaning of an indirect kiss. She found it a bit embarrassing to eat out of the same rice that has touched the chopsticks that touched his lips, but the baked chicken was safe for them both to eat since they were in slices and did not touch each other. She knew it might have been strange to worry about an indirect kiss, but she had never even shared her bento before with a girl, let alone a boy.. But she couldn't let him starve, he didn't call the police on her for trespassing the night before, after all, "Y-you can pick whatever dish you like and I won't touch it with my chopsticks. T-The rice we can each pick one side to eat from." She was definitely nervous, but it was against her nature to not help out when she could, especially when he told her directly that he had nothing to eat. He had looked so pitiful, like a starving baby kitten... No, not like that. Not like that at all.. She did NOT want to compare him to a cat right now, or ever. She had bad luck with cats..

Before her mind wandered too far from having lunch, She opened her bento to present an arrangement of food including rice, macaroni, baked chicken, and scalloped potatoes. Nemui presented him with a fresh pair of unused chopsticks and pulled out her own chopsticks shaped like samurai swords. Nemui left to quietly pull a seat over to where the bento and Ren were. Once she returned, she smoothed out her skirt in the back and sat down. She waited for him to sit again, and clapped her hands together "I-Itadakimasu.. I-I'll eat the right side of the rice? Oh! D-do you like chamomile tea, Suzuki-San?" Nemui inquired and she pulled out a thermos filled with tea. She was definitely ready to dig in, but it would have been rude to not share her tea with him, wouldn't of it? She definitely thought so.

"Should I take that as a compliment?"

Kurumi wasn't exactly ignoring Kurou, because as much as she wished she could, it wasn't possible for her. She actually just walked away so fast that she was too far away to respond casually. She wasn't too concerned though, he had the new girl to keep him company after all, and being around him was extremely stressing, and she had enough of that in her life without Kurou. She still didn't know how to break it to her sister and mother about her disease, she was beginning to feel that she shouldn't say anything at all. It'll only worry them more if I tell them.. I should keep my mouth shut.... I should deal with it by myself, right? I can handle this on my own.. Besides, telling them won't fix the problem.. I'll still be sick..

She noticed that Kurou was eating the bento, but she couldn't tell if he was enjoying it, mostly because he ate all of his meals as if he were a starving Ethiopian child. She overheard a rumor about Shin, but she couldn't hear his reply. So he.. has a girlfriend?

"Okay. Thanks."

"No, thank you. You saved me after all." She replied back in a grateful manner, smiling with closed eyes to conceal her confusion and inner turmoil. She could barely focus on the conversation now that she's heard the rumor about him and the 'mystery girl'.

Shin accepted the jacket, and she only realized when she felt the fabric gently slip out of her hand, "It took a while, but it's dry." She informed him, her eyes shifting to the far off wall to her left rather than meeting his eyes. She didn't catch his look of shock, but turned her head when she heard him speaking, though his muttered words were unrecognizable to her.

"Is it your perfume?"

"Hai. It's foreign. I couldn't find a good one in Japan. Most strawberry and vanilla scented perfumes smell like anything but strawberry and vanilla..." She explained nervously, wondering if her perfume would get him in trouble with the girl that he was seeing. She hoped not, because she would feel guilty, especially since he seemed like a decent guy... She couldn't help but think about the other girl though.

"It's nice. I like it."

"Arigato, Ogawa-Sa-" her appreciation was cut short when he sniffed the blazer. She had managed to keep her cool when he mentioned liking the smell of her perfume, but watching him intentionally sniff it was a bit embarrassing and she felt her entire face erupt into a light pink blush.

"Later."

"B-Bye-Bye." She managed to stutter out. Then her thoughts returned to the rumor she overheard about Shin, i should have known a guy that hot had a girlfriend. Oh darn it.. I probably shouldn't have accepted his jacket.. I'm so stupid.. She was definitely disappointed. She thought that he was simply being chivalrous, that there was genuine hope for chivalry, but she was quickly reminded otherwise. Why was I so embarrassed..? I'd of thought my heart had learnt it's lesson.. I need to just stop getting all doki doki for these bad boy types.. Or maybe I was just trying to hurry up and get over Kurou.. She mentally scolded herself, letting out a soft sigh before her friend that loaned her a towel drug her back to her seat. A barrage of junior girls began asking her questions, especially since she had spoken the most to Shin since class had started. She didn't know a lot about him, other than he modeled with her mother a bit in the past. A lot of girls were jealous, but since they knew Kurumi was the 'it' girl, seeing as her mother was a well known actress and clothing designer, they were fairly silent about their jealousy and avoided shooting her dirty looks. Instead of being rude, many begged to come to the set, and Kurumi laughed nervously, "Ogawa-San hasn't worked with my mother in some time. It would be a wasted trip if you'd be going just for his sake." She assured the girls with a quick wave of her hands.

She took a few more bites of her bento, but she couldn't sit in the class any longer. She needed a break. She put her food away, and excused herself from her friends. She made her way across the room with her head kept down. She didn't want to see how much fun Kurou and Aina were having together. Kurumi made it to the hall, but her legs refused to stop. She quickly shifted through the crowded halls, not really paying attention to who she passed. Once she was outside, Kurumi let out a soft sigh, stopping for a second to catch her breath. The building was so.. suffocating. Everyone in there was so cheerful and optimistic, believing her to be the most, yet she was far less cheerful than they realized. No one ever noticed when she was depressed, but she was always there to listen when anyone else was.. No one even noticed that she was sick.. No one cared to notice that she was drastically weaker than she had been in middle school. No one cared, so long as she looked pretty. She was just something to admire, like a poster. They didn't care about how she was feeling or if she was ill.

Before she even realized it, Kurumi found herself sitting under a tree, well, kneeling to avoid getting her skirt wet. She gazed up to the sky just in time to catch the birds beginning to fly around. Now that the rain was weak, they returned to their lively business and it caused her to smile a bit, but it wasn't enough to fully cheer her up.

She really didn't want to think about it, but her mind ran over her time with Kurou when they dated, then the breakup, and finally the past two days.. It was unnerving living in the same house. She hadn't seen him shirtless or coming out of the shower in only a towel, but she was sure that it would happen eventually, that or Yukito, perhaps even both. She wished she could see the two boys as genderless beings, because the wedding was tomorrow. She just wanted to see them as her harmless and platonic siblings, but that seemed to be impossible. Not to mention she had a test before school was out. She hadn't studied a single bit. I'm going to fail!! Nemui is going to slaughter me! Though, on the bright side, work will get my mind off of things, for a few hours at the least... if Nemui lets me live... Will they send me home if I am severely maimed..? She thought, cheering up just a tiny bit more at that thought.

"It is not like I detest having interactions with people. I just feel it would be too much for me to handle, so no forcing okay?"

The offer about getting copies of her textbook was a solution that was not going to give him a lot of effort. That's why he had no reason not to accept it in the first place. It would conserve his energy (another term for being lazy) "That would be good." Ren answered with that casual tone of his before letting his attention turned towards the commotion which was centered around Yukito, Katsukawa, and a new guy with white hair. Whatever was being said, Katsukawa threw into a fit of rage. Well, it was not like he didn't hear something about 'not her type' or 'girlfriend'. He just didn't want the effort of involving himself in something like that. It was going to be tiring and just cause him trouble in the end. He was sure of it.

That's why Ren instead returned his attention to Nemui who offered her bento to share with. Outwardly, there was no expression on his face, but his brown eyes shimmered in delight like a kitten who was given some delicious treat. Furthermore, those imaginary cat ears of his were now perking up. Well, this was a great bonus as he wouldn't have to worry about what to eat for lunch and the hassle of buying one. However, he was not understanding why she was really being defensive at the moment like eating in different compartments or something like that. It felt like he was going to infect her, if that was so, "Do you really want to share with me?" His question was to determine her aversion in having to eat together as if whatever he touches is banned from hers. He was not offended as there are reasons for that.

"You don't have to force yourself if you fear getting something from me." He added, but there was no animosity in it, just curiosity and he wouldn't want to force her. She was even asking if he liked chamomile tea. The answer to that would be. "No. It's fine." He really did not want it and it was not done to offend her. "I don't like tea." This was not out of contempt. That was simply the truth of it. He just likes water and other beverages were something in his preferences of dislike. That is just the fact of that. Anyway, there was another matter he would like to discuss.

"I can find another way to have a lunch." Ren suggested as he did not take the chopsticks offered to him even though the fact that the contents of the box were very enticing to him. He could already feel that his stomach is grumbling. It seemed that despite his very observant and perceptive skills, his lack of interest in the romance department had blunted his analyzation in terms of what Nemui was really concerned about. Whatever it may be, he waited for her response. It was only polite to do so. "It is not like I don't appreciate what you did. Thank you." He continued on as he bowed his head to emphasize that point and with those eyes of his gazed at Nemui. "I just don't want you to feel forced into doing this."

This was indeed being troublesome more than he wanted to invest his effort in. Shin had decided to ignore this rumor mill and have the agency launched an official statement that he has no relationship with that girl in the tabloids. That it was just a misunderstanding and just a passing interaction between two strangers. It was already been approved judging by the SMS he received earlier while looking for Yukito's classroom, but that won't be the case anymore. He and that girl attended the same school, this would certainly feed the fires and Yukito was not certainly being helpful in the matter, more like the idol has no intentions of lending a hand at all.

Speaking of feeding the fires, the girl caught up with him in the rumors was like a blazing one. She was obviously a firecracker with that mouth of hers. He was right to think that she was different from those run-down the mill girls he had often been dragged to socialize with. He had only one problem with that. His eyes instinctively narrowed in displeasure which only lasted for a second. He is after all in front of an audience. He was fine if people speak nasty things about him. He's used to it all of his life. He would proudly say that he's immune to it, but it was a different matter when it comes to Yukito. This girl was earning points in his negative ranks, a place no one would want to be in.

He wasn't able to say a word since the girl took the high and mighty approach and left. It seemed his conclusion that was drawn last night about her being caught up in her own thoughts was true as well. She just took her interpretation and didn't care for the others. He understood the trouble of the rumors on someone like her and he didn't want that on anyone especially someone who was innocent in the first place. That's why... "Hey." His voice was low but was loud enough to make everyone else remaining in the room and others from the outside peeking in because of the commotion hear him. "She has nothing to do with me and those rumors are lies." His voice was calm yet stern, meaning that what he was saying at this moment was equivalent to a law.

"I would like it if you don't connect me with her any longer as it clearly bothers her and me. If you want details, I suggest waiting for my official statement later in the day. If you would excuse me then." That is all he would have to say about that topic. He then left the room without another word. There was no use after all staying there since Yukito was not there anymore. The students started to make their own conclusions and were actually pleased with his words because it meant, the ever-popular model was still a bachelor. As for the said person, he strode the hallways looking for Yukito. He was actually irritated and wanted to say a few things to that coffee girl in regards bad-mouthing his light. Shin decided against it, since he wouldn't want to further blacken his mood or be infected with idiocy.

That's when he turned to a corner and saw a group of guys, encircling his classmate, that should be the term. They were like a pack of dogs in heat and that was disconcerting not only to him but to the girl they had their eyes set on. "You should leave her alone." They looked at him and the guys instantly knew that he was someone not to be trifled not only because of his physique, but of his spreading reputation in school, moreover when he reached for one of the boys hand that held his classmate's wrist. He pried it off with enough strength to imply he was not someone to be messed with. "You guys should know your limits and pay attention to others." The group of guys immediately apologized and took their leave, more like have their tails tucked underneath their legs. "Malik-san, you should know when to say no. It's not a bad thing to do so." He noted as he looked at his fellow newcomer. "Be careful." He then continued on his way.

It seemed that Kitomura-san liked the strawberries which made her happy and bid her goodbye. "Yes, see you later Kitomura-san.". Aina said with a gentle smile and then she finished her own meal and took a few minutes to settle herself. There was still time before classes start so, she decided to take the liberty of looking around. She knew that it would be wasted since she would forget it tomorrow, and that's why she took her journal to write the directions down. It would be awfully suspicious to others if she had been here for months and still couldn't find her way around.

There were other students she passed by who were obviously gossiping about her. She does stick out like a sore thumb due to her uncommon features and the fact she's exquisite to look at. Boys ogled at her and girls envied her, but she was completely oblivious to it and not because she was arrogant or something. She was just simply not paying attention to it as she was fixated on her physical surroundings and taking down notes. It was because of that she bumped into someone. She recognized her carelessness and immediately offered her apologies. "Oh, I apologize for my carelessness." Her eyes of of silvery purple gazed at the one she bumped into. It was a male student accompanied by his friends. "I hope that you did not get hurt. Are you fine?" Her very existence radiated pure concern which was taken advantage by the boys who instantly identified her as a beauty to possess even for a while.

They started to speak over-exaggerated lies about having a broken bone and that she should compensate which she was actually willing to. "This is my fault. Please tell me what I should do to compensate." That was the boys' win as they began to ask her out and even started to grab her hand as she was going to be dragged to some place where they could do anything with her. She was increasingly feeling uncomfortable, but held strong as she was filled with guilt for causing harm. It was during that moment when a voice entered that roused her to reality. It was her fellow newcomer and from what she had gathered a famous model. "Ogawa-san..." She was surprised as Ogawa grabbed one of the boys holding her wrist and pried it off effortlessly.

It didn't take long before those boys left them while apologizing profusely and then Ogawa telling her to say no and be careful. He then turned his back at her and began to leave. She instinctively reached for him and grabbed hold of the ends of his jacket. "You seemed in a hurry, but I just want to properly thank you for your assistance." She then released his jacket and formally bowed her head, something she had learned to be a proper way in Japanese of saying thank you. However, she was the kind of person who show her appreciation in a physical manner. Not able to hold back her joy, she closed the gap between her and Shin and embraced him with her arms finding its way around his torso. "Thank you so much, Ogawa-san!" It was at that point that other students began to fill the hallway. It seemed, there was another rumor that would be going about with the every intimate and incriminating scene between her and Ogawa especially, when that playful yet polite remark echoed as a certain idol witnessed it, to Shin's further problems, and due to Aina's ignorant innocence.

Well, Yukito knew from the very beginning that Nemui's new female friend was an interesting person. School life was starting to be his own stage of entertainment and that wasn't bad at all. It also meant he won't be bored anytime soon. He wasn't even offended when the paranoia girl lashed out at him verbally. He actually found it cute like a hamster who didn't get it's meal. Anyway, that leech was there to clean it up. That guy was dependable on those matters, something like that of a dog who would stand by his side. He absolutely finds it pathetic, but it does have its uses. His mind was indeed becoming very dark which was the opposite of what he's presenting outwardly, like how he was having lunch with others in a friendly manner. He was even laughing a bit and joining in with their lame jokes. It was a perfect act that no one ever sees through.

He was even asked about Nemui being his older sister as he had announced it earlier and he answered it with an effortless. "Aren't I lucky?" matched with that smile of his. No one attempted further to pry and soon, they were going to return to their class. It was at that point, his phone vibrated, he had placed it on silent as he took a quick look what it was, apparently it was a call which he wouldn't dare to miss. "Why don't you guys go ahead first? I just have a call I need to take." He was soon left on his own as he found a place where he could not be interrupted and have a moment of peace with just himself and the one calling him. "Hello. Good evening. It should be night there, right?" He leaned on a nearby wall and a female voice filtered through. "Of course, I know. So, how is the shooting going on?" It was clear as day that there was deep affection seeping through his voice. It was far different from the ones he casually showcases.

"That's amazing, but that was a given with you. You should rest since you would have an early day tomorrow." His eyes crinkled in delight as he even taken a moment to chuckle lightly. "Ah, yes you are far older than me, but senpai is less mature than me." There was objection on the other line and he couldn't help but smile at that. "So, what is it that you had to call me for so late over there? It must be important." There was a moment of silence before it was answered and those words related to him made his eyes darkened ever so slightly. His hold on his phone tightened and his silence evident. "Oh... Ah, yes I'm still here. Congratulations to both of you!" He managed to end his sentence with joy though, his expression was the complete opposite of that. "So, I'm the first one to know? That makes me feel very special."

His eyes were now covered by his bangs and his head lowered, though his tone did not change from its upbeat nature. "I shouldn't hold you for too long senpai. He must be waiting for you and I do have classes, so..." He removed himself from the wall and approached one of the windows in front of him and opened it. The petrichor of the dwindling rain welcomed him completely to reality as he placed his arms on the sill. "It's no bother. I'll see you two when you get back then. Yeah, goodbye." The call ended at that as he lowered his phone and kept it. He took a deep breath and sighed. "Special, you say... Not special enough..." His eyes revealed itself as he looked at the scenery before him. That's when he noticed someone under the tree, a familiar face.

"What are you doing over there, Kurumi-san?" This was a good thing. He needed a distraction and she will do. There was his usual friendly expression. His eyes related a gentle concern and his lips revealed a kind smile. "Did something happen? Are you feeling sick?" He then removed his arms on the sill and instead placed his hands on it. There was not a second of hesitation as he pushed himself up and athletically got himself out of the window, and believe it or not, he did it with such poise. "If so, would you like to share it with me? They say that a burden is lessened even for a bit if you have someone take a share of it." He noted as he approached her and reached out his hand towards her, an offer to stand with that kind smile on his face.

"But, I won't force you." He added and whether Kurumi took his hand or not, it was fine with him. "We should get back inside, classes will start soon and I wouldn't feel fine if I leave you here alone, in the rain even if it's already weak." Whether, she answered positively or not, Yukito was forceful just a little bit though by holding her hand and pulling her towards the building. It goes without much saying that the students they passed by looked at them with jealousy and with gossip. It's because those two were still holding hands together and apparently, Yukito was not mindful of it. That was at that point in the hallway where another scene was unfolding as Yukito stopped on his tracks. His orange eyes widened a bit in surprise which soon reflected interest. There it was Shin and an unknown girl embracing each other. Shin's hands were on the girl's shoulders while the girl's face was filled with cheer while placed on Shin's chest. It was quite romantic.

"My, what a wonderful scene, Leech-kun. So, she's your real girlfriend?" He noted with his cheerful self and that friendly smile. "But, I suggest that lovey-dovey scene be limited. We wouldn't want everyone to be jealous." He was actually having a grand time even if outwardly, he was acting cordial and polite. That was when the the bell rang, meaning lunch was over. "I guess. It's time to go back to class then." He then looked at Kurumi which he noticed that he was till holding hands with. "Oh, sorry about that, I guess I just liked holding your hand. You won't mind doing that again sometime right?" He then released her hand and waved her goodbye as he proceeded to go to his class passing by Shin and the girl which would be known to him as Aina.

"What are you doing over there, Kurumi-san?"

"Eh..? Oh, uhm.. I suppose you could say that I'm just kind of sorting my thoughts." Kurumi responded with a surprised and shaken tone. She wasn't lying, in fact, she hated liars with a burning passion. Her mother could be blamed for that pet peeve. Kurumi was actually simply telling the most basic form of the truth that she could fathom at the moment. She quickly followed her words with her signature candy sweet laugh, the exact one that helped her rise up the ranks and become the 'it' girl of their school. At a moment like this, it was fairly clear as to how she accomplished it. Her smile that met his happily was like a bead of summer sunlight shining through a window and that unique laugh of hers was so inviting and warm, like honey. This expression was the one that made it so easy to forget how troubled she was just moments ago, especially the troubled expression that had been erased by her smiling face. Most of her 'admirers' often did forget that she, like everyone else, experienced grief, sadness, and stress. Sometimes, she couldn't help but feel truly and utterly alone, even in a room surrounded by her classmates. Everyone seemed to forget that she was human, not an always smiling porcelain doll. Most assumed she was constantly posting selfies and pictures of sunshine and kittens on Facebook. That wasn't her, at least not all of the time..

In fact, Aina was nearly the only girl in the entire school that compared to her asthetically, other than perhaps Himeko, but at the same time, she was cancelled out because that sour attitude of her's trumped Himeko's aesthetics by a landslide. Aina on the other hand was far kinder and much more naive than Kurumi. She couldn't help but wonder if it was possibly lethal to be that innocent. Now that she thought about Aina, Kurumi couldn't help but realize just how silly it was for being so mad at her, she barely even knew anything about her. I'm such an idiot..

"Did something happen? Are you feeling sick?"

"No, no. I'm fine. Stormy days just aren't my favorite, that's all." She assured him, but she was also attempting to reassure herself in the process. She was taken aback when Yukito changed position at the window, but even more so when he shot out of it. She felt her heart skip a beat, wondering if he would land correctly or not. He couldn't be reckless like most boys, he was a pop idol after all. She knew that he had to be careful, so she couldn't help but worry, "You're lucky that a teacher didn't see that, but you're also lucky that you're not hurt, Yukito-San." Kurumi responded in an impressed tone, but it was also lightly scolding. She was in fact going to be his older sister starting tomorrow, so she had a right to show concern, right?

"Would you like to share it with me? They say that a burden is lessened even for a bit if you have someone take a share of it. But, I won't force you. We should get back inside, classes will start soon and I wouldn't feel fine if I leave you here alone, in the rain even if it's already weak."

Kurumi hesitantly accepted his hand, pulling herself up with his aid. She didn't let him do all the work of course, because she REALLY didn't want any boy to know her weight, or even be able to guess at it. Regardless of how skinny she got, she always gazed into the mirror and saw a morbidly obese girl staring back at her. No way was she letting him get an estimate of her weight, ever, "I guess it's just..." Kurumi trailed off, blinking a few times. How could she answer him without being exceedingly dishonest? She didn't want to be deceptive, but she couldn't tell him what was TRULY bothering her either. She was in quite a predicament, and she had to tread lightly. The last thing that she wanted was for her soon-to-be brother to assume her to be a liar. She let out a slow breath, and began, "I guess I'm just worried because I have a test in a few minutes and Ne-chan is going to slit my throat if I fail.." She couldn't think of anything, so she resorted to a lie. She felt so dirty.. Before her eyes had a chance to betray her, she closed her eyes slowly. Kurumi could truly care less if she passed or failed the test, but she couldn't possibly tell him the truth. She didn't want anyone to know that she had been involved with Kurou, even if their time together was child-like and innocent. If anyone ever found out, she feared that she wouldn't have the guts to face anyone who knew, ever again.

She was a bit shocked when Yukito kept her hand, but let him lead her to the building anyhow. She wasn't Nemui, even though she received several glares, there were very few girls in the school who were brave enough to stand up to her. Kurumi had a lot of female friends, and was very well liked, not to mention she used to be in Judo and ballet, before her illness. She still kept to ballet, but it was growing increasingly difficult to participate, what with her legs acting up. On several occasions she had to be seen by a nurse, but it wasn't a big deal. She went to a private studio and blamed it on blood pressure, no one at the school or in her family were aware, yet. She hoped to keep it a secret for as long as possible, because it wasn't like there was a cure out there for her. So, Kurumi, being Kurumi, simply waved towards the hate-filled glares, then playfully stuck out her tongue. She wasn't being particularly mean about it, but she really didn't understand what there was to gossip about... then she remembered, no one else knew that the Kitomura and Fujioka family were combining tomorrow. Perhaps they thought she was dating Yukito? She suddenly giggled, a light blush crossing her cheeks. No way! He may look older than me, but he's still fourteen. I'd feel like a child molester. Though I suppose I did have a crush on him when I just knew of him as Fuwa-sama..~ Kurumi couldn't help but smile knowing how much their lives had changed in a mere forty-eight hours, it was so unreal.

"My, what a wonderful scene, Leech-kun. So, she's your real girlfriend?"

Is that...O....Ogawa-san? Is Aina his girlfriend...? I don't think she's the girl that they were talking about from the article... She had a perplexed expression as she tried to understand the situation. Shin and Aina had been in a fairly compromising position. Though, as Yukito's words rang out, she came to a rather abrupt assumption. P-Player?! O-Ogawa san is a womanizer?! She was wide eyed and completely frozen in shock. He is just a slimy casanova? What else could Yukito have meant by 'real' girlfriend other than Shin having several? Suddenly Kurumi's eyes shifted to the clock. She didn't want to be here anymore. She felt dirty for accepting his jacket. Was he just trying to make a move on her using false pretenses? Did he even mean a word of 'you're not a piece of meat'? Suddenly she was forced to reconsider their entire interaction. She didn't even hear the bell ring or the rest of what Yukito was saying prior to the bell.

"Oh, sorry about that, I guess I just liked holding your hand. You won't mind doing that again sometime right?"

When she felt his hand slip out of hers she was jolted back into reality, "Of course not. I don't mind if you don't, Otouto-san~!" Kurumi chimed out, feeling a bit better about her living situation now for some reason. However, when she gazed up at the clock again, it was short lived. The blonde girl's eyes widening in horror. Why did this always seem to happen to her? Did the universe have some kind of personal vendetta against her or something? She wouldn't doubt it, because judging by her bad luck, her past life must have been backed up with bad karma.

"Ee!? Is that really the time?! Sayonara, Otouto-kun! I'm going to be laaaaate!" With that, she waved her hand at Yukito and bolted down the hall, and up the stairs towards her classroom. She didn't look back for even a second. She made it to class, plopping down in her seat and allowed her forehead to rest against the cold wood of her desk. She was slightly out of breath, but ultimately happy that she didn't make it to class tardy. Also, when she was this exhausted, she couldn't worry about being in the same class as Kurou. Besides, after this test, the other two classes would fly by, and she could go to work. Speaking of her work, she hoped that neither of her new siblings ever found out exactly what her job was, because THAT would redefine the word embarrassing.

"You know, I don't believe anybody's ever been this nice to me before."

She took a single, subtle step back as he finally decided to speak up, and part of her was tempted to leave the rooftop. She didn't realize it in her distress, but this roof was a lot higher than she had thought. It was starting to make her really nervous and dizzy, "E-Eh!? What did you say? Are you being a smartass?" Himeko hissed, keeping a tough front despite her fear of heights. Her right eye twitched a few times in irritation as he made fun of her, just like old times. He was still able to get under her skin with ust one sentence, which only enraged her even more in the end. Even though she felt no romantic feelings for him anymore, his words still retained a certain level of weight, and she couldn't understand how or why. It was mind boggling, and it made her want to pull her hair out in frustration.

"Why, with the way you laced my name with sugar, I had almost thought you were about to confess or something. You really do sound like you like me, after all. To what do I owe this admiration?"

Forget it, you're still just as vile as the Kitomura that I remember. Himeko glared, her fists gripping the edges of her uniform sleeves. She wanted nothing more than to punch his lights out, but she knew that violence would get her nowhere fast. Her brother Ren was a violent person, and all it did for him was put him in an early grave. She never found out what really happened to him, and that was the hardest part. She was rather startled when he mentioned 'confessing', and was terrified that he had finally associated her with the girl that he publicly humiliated, "Who would confess to someone you?" She asked in a defensive and mocking tone, quirking one eyebrow at Kurou as if the mere notion were absurd. She didn't feel the same way about him now, not anymore, once she realized what kind of person that Kurou truly was, she wanted no part of it. She couldn't believe that she had spent so much time pursuing a guy with such an ugly soul.. He had ruined her life here, and despite moving on, she could never forget that. She no longer held him accountable for the bullying, but part of Himeko couldn't help holding a grudge against him. The way Himeko saw it was; if they never would have abruptly transferred schools, then Ren would have still been alive today. Although she forgave him for what he had done to her, she doubted that she could ever forget what his actions brought upon Ren. Even if it was indirectly, Kurou put Ren on that path, and despite her typically forgiving nature, she's held a grudge against men ever since.

She almost took a step towards him, despite her better judgement, but the bell rang just in time to snap her out of her anger. She was glad to have had the wake up call, finding herself quite relieved that it caught her before she did something stupid, like busting Kurou's nose. That would have been a bit suspicious and she was almost certain that someone would have put two and two together if she had done something so blatant and personal, "Whattya know? There's the bell. Sayonara, Kitomura." Himeko mumbled putting harsh emphasis on his surname, not even bothering to wave as she made her way to the door, opening it and making a casual stride down the stairs as if nothing had happened. On her way down, she noticed a poster about tryouts, and signed up for cheerleading. She was a cheerleader before she left, but now she had the aspiration to become the captain. She had gotten a lot better at her last school, what with all of her pent up anger and all. Ren used to joke her that she only grew taller due to her hatred, because she was lactose intolerant, so she couldn't grow any because of milk. Somehow she kind of believed him, yet she eventually had gotten over her hatred for Kurou... yet it quickly returned the day the police officer knocked on her door with Ren's bloody Letterman jacket.

She wasn't out for revenge or anything, that would be petty, which was something Himeko typically tried to avoid becoming. Besides, how does one get revenge for a dead brother anyhow? It wasn't like she was willing to kill anyone to make things 'even'. Regardless of what she chose to do to Kurou, it would never be equal to her brother's life, at least not in her opinion. Though she was torn from these thoughts when a girl from her class named Ayusuri, Shino grabbed her by the wrist and drug her towards their classroom, "Wah!" Himeko called out, but kept up with the nerdy looking girl, despite nearly tripping every so often. She was glad to have another girl looking after her, but she didn't understand why this girl was helping her, "A-Arigato, Ayusuri-chan.." Himeko said to the girl who pulled her along. They passed the guy known as Ogawa, Shin, the one who she wished to avoid with another, not to mention, beautiful girl. She probably had unnecessary paparazzi lined up outside of her house, and it would no doubt continue for a week or so if it ever was released that they attended the same school.. Coincidences are maddening... This is so troublesome. I just wanted a fun and peaceful school year, how did I get stuck with this? She let out a depressed sigh, but was in the classroom before she knew it. The other girl smiled to her and offered for her to sit with her, which meant she'd be sitting behind Nemui this time around. Nemui wasn't back in her seat yet, in fact she was sitting with that boy named Ren, which perked Himeko's interest, but she kept silent. She sat down, even if it meant it brought her a little bit closer to that demon, Kitomura, Yukito. She made two friends, and she couldn't be happier that she got to sit near them both. First Nemui, and now Shino.. She felt so lucky, despite all the horrible things that were happening to her in the last two days. Himeko's eyes landed on her unopened bento, and she suddenly regretted leaving it behind. She let her eyes dart to the teacher's desk, smiling when she realized he was not yet present. She quickly leaned toward her previous seat and reach over to retrieve her bento. It was a long stretch, but she managed to grab it without losing balance. She sat upright again, letting out a relieved sigh as her stomach softly growled in anticipation. She hurriedly snuck a few bites in before the teacher arrived and put the bento back inside of her bag, as if nothing had ever happened. I'm so hungry.. Himeko thought to herself as she closed her eyes, wondering if she'd even be able to pay attention like this.

"E-Eh!? What did you say? Are you being a smartass?"

Why yes, yes I am being a smartass, and I am glad you could tell.

The reactions he was getting from this unnamed girl were entertaining, to say the least. Perhaps it was a bit cruel to tease someone he did not even know, but she was being quite hostile, and judging from the intensity, he could not claim he did not know her with his full confidence. That being said, he could not figure out who she was just yet. So tease her he did. As he continued, he noticed it got to her more and more, especially after he mentioned a confession. Maybe she was unpopular and never got a confession herself? He could see that. Despite her attractiveness, she'd been nothing but aggressive since he'd arrived up here. If she was this way with everybody, then it wouldn't surprise him at all, hypocritical as it may seem. But he liked to believe it was just him, since the anger in her voice betrayed that she held some sort of contempt for Kurou himself.

"Who would confess to someone like you?" at this point, she seemed more than just angry, her hands keeping her uniform in quite the deathgrip.

So he continued, hoping to see just how far this anger would go. "Quite a few, actually. I've been getting confessions since I was 12, you know. Must be because I'm devilishly handsome or something" he shrugged his shoulders, still too dense to notice that she was one of the first to actually confess to him, despite giving himself a very big hint. Thankfully, he had never claimed to be a genius, or he'd have rosey cheeks right about now.

Before he could do much else, the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch and his interaction with this girl. It was very hard to tell given her excellent ability to hide what she was feeling, but he couldn't help but notice that she wanted to get away from him as soon as possible. She left down the stairs without a moment's delay. Kurou shook his head. "People are just so rude nowadays." he muttered as he looked over the roof and then realized something. He was on a roof. He didn't realize it before because he wanted to get away from the physical manifestation of kindness, and then because he was dealing with that girl, but now he felt a bit nauseous. He quickly departed from the roof after he was sure he wouldn't just run back into that girl.

Class was not so far away from him that he panicked to get back. So he walked at a leisurely pace, trying his best to recall that girl from before. Aside from him being a dick just then, he couldn't imagine any reason she should be that mad at him. He could only think she was jealous of something, but even then he couldn't figure out just what that was. He begun to think back to when he was younger. Did he do something back when his mother di-----

....What is she even doing? Aren't there rules in place against PDA?

Whatever train of thought Kurou had just then was immediately cut off by the sight of Aina intimately hugging some guy, who Kurou would have assumed was her boyfriend if it weren't for the fact she had just got here today. Unless she knew him from somewhere else, or was just really quick at finding a partner. It was not as if he particularly minded, but seeing that kind of stuff in the middle of a hallway was not normal.

"You two know class is about to start, right? I would suggest finding a room if you plan on ditching, or hurrying up. Either way, nobody wants to see that stuff." he commented while briefly stopping next to them, then continuing to head to class once he'd finished.

Today is.... eventful.

At that familiar voice chiming in, Shin knew that he was yet again in a very compromising position. He could already hear the other voices of the students chattering about, no doubt starting another rumor. He was yet to clear up the misunderstanding with the other one and here comes another. What is it his luck with women, really? There's also the fact that any woman near to him would be attached to him instantly. What's up with that? In any case, he gently pushed Aina away from him and quickly rose to his defense. "This is not what it looks like." He ignored the sound of the bell ringing or the other commentaries (Kurou) thrown at him as he came after Yukito who was walking away without a care in the world after giving friendly wave to Kurumi. "Let me explain. Wait Yuki!" His voice was raised to a tone as he ignored the people around him who risked their time just to watch the interaction between the two celebrities. It was same for Shin who didn't care that he would be late. There were more important things than classes.

Yukito stopped in his tracks and effortlessly pivoted to face Shin who was running after him. His orange eyes had a threatening glaze, but would only be known to two people. One of those two would be Shin who also froze in the spot. "Leech. I would appreciate if you do not call me that since you have no right to do so." His voice was still awfully cheerful and politeness. "You also don't have to explain anything to me. Whoever you take as your lover is your business. I would support you all the way. I also think it would be good for you." Every word that Yukito dropped were like knives being stabbed to him awfully slowly. It was pure torture as Shin clenched his fists. "Then, if you would excuse me. I would not like to be late for class." Yukito ended that with his usual smile and a brief nod of the head before continuing on his way.

Shin did not follow him anymore and just released a frustrated sigh while clicking his tongue. "Tsk." He even punched the nearby wall, good thing the hallway was now vacant so, no one saw that outburst of his. This day was getting worse and far different from what he had imagined yesterday. He took a deep breath and decided to return to his classroom as well. The rumors or anything else at that matter was no use to him. All he wanted was to have a rosy school life with Yukito and that was not easy to achieve from the looks of it. Speaking of which, Yukito seemed to be in a bad mood. He could tell from how Yukito barbed at him. It made him wonder what caused that. Well, that was the least of his problems. He soon reached the classroom and took his seat which was besides Kurumi. He was preoccupied that he didn't catch that she called Yukito her little brother back there. It was clear that he was obviously troubled, but kept his cool and collected face. It's a good thing the teacher was still not there for another harping about him being late was not going to help him at this moment.

Aina can be oblivious, but she does know when her actions had caused trouble which she never intended to do so. She could see it from how Shin acted as he pushed her away gently despite her actions as he ran after a younger boy who she could tell was rather handsome. She stood there for a moment as other students began to whisper. She could pick up some of it relating to her and Shin. "I humbly apologize for what happened. It is a misunderstanding. Ogawa-san is not at fault at all." She did a formal bow as the students were not sure what to about her sudden apology. Somehow, it made everything awkward and them feeling guilty. In respect to her, she had been warned by her grandfather that she should control her expressions of happiness as the culture here was not as open as other nations.

"I apologize again." She then properly stood and went on her way. She must make amends especially to Shin. He was kind enough to come to her aid and this what happens. She must clear the misconceptions of what happened, but first, she must apologize to him. She reached the classroom, but Shin was not there. It made her wonder if he must be with that younger boy. Instead, her eyes landed on her seatmate. She remembered that he also saw that scene and even commented about it. She approached him. "Kitomura-san, I would like to apologize for what had transpired earlier. It would not happen again." She bowed her head in apology. It was clear that she was serious in what she's doing and there was not an illusion behind it. Her eyes of violet glistened to show that she was indeed regretful of the consequences of her action, even if it was just an innocent gesture of happiness.

At that point, she raised her head and finally noticed that Shin has returned, but she could tell that he was not in the brightest of moods. Still, she had to make amends for what she did and now would be a good time since the teacher is not present. "Excuse me, Kitomura-san." She then went towards Shin and called out to the silver-haired male. "Ogawa-san." She was expecting that Shin would ignore her, glare at her, or even shout at her for the trouble she caused him. She would find that acceptable, but that wasn't the case. Instead, Shin looked at her calmly. "Yeah?" He was casual about it and she instantly bowed her head. "I am truly sorry for what happened earlier, Ogawa-san. I was so happy that I was unable to control myself and hugged you. I am really sorry for the inconvenience I caused you. I feel very awful after you were kind enough to help from those boys. Please, allow me to make amends."

Her voice trembled with the mixture of fear of being hated, but she would accept it. Other than fear, there was also her overflowing guilt and determination to make up for her ignorance. Her sincerity showed like the rising sun. Shin looked at Aina who was still bowing before him after saying her piece. This certainly earned the attention of the class. Well, if someone apologized to him like that, he couldn't get angry, not like he blamed her at all. "Malik-san." He started as he reached out his hand and placed it on her head. "Don't worry about it." She looked up meeting his gaze which was not reproachful, but was actually understanding. "I was really surprised back there." He patted her head much like how a parent would do to a child, a sign of comfort and acceptance. "I'm not sure if you know, but here, hugging someone is reserved for those who you are very close to or very familiar with." He then removed his hand from her head. "You should be more mindful because you might get taken advantage of. Be careful next time, okay?"

She stood straight as she lifter her head and nodded in agreement. "I will, Ogawa-san. About my amends, I---" Shin cut her off there. "I don't need it. I didn't help you or forgive you because I want something in return. It's fine already that you know you did something wrong and apologized. You should return to your seat. Class would start soon." Somehow, Aina was now truly understanding why the girls in their class or school are mesmerized by him. It was not just because of his looks, he was truly a kind person. "Yes, thank you very much Ogawa-san." She then returned to her seat and had a gentle and happy smile on her face. She was meeting such wonderful people and without waste, she wrote it down on her journal.

As for Shin, that was another chip off his shoulder. He was still oblivious why he's always linked to women. It's because of how he interacts with them, but that was not his concern really. He now needed to think on how to appease Yukito and just as so, the teacher entered the classroom and school resumes.

Image

In another classroom, Yukito had returned to his seat. He knew that he ratted out on Shin. Well, that was just bad luck since he was still hung up on that phone call he received. Plus, that guy has tough skin. It was something he was very sure of. In any case, he noticed that there was something different from the seating arrangement as the paranoia girl was closer. This was a new development. His eyes studied her as he noticed her leaning towards a bento which probably belonged to her in the first place. It was her seat previously. He then looked at front seeing that the teacher was not there and that Nemui has returned to his side after having lunch with their neighbor, Ren.

Somehow, he allowed his mind to focus on the little things happening in the classroom to distract him. Yes, he must not stop, because if he did, he would think about that again. The teacher soon entered the room and began doing the roll call. There was another scene with Ren, but somehow, he has a feeling that would be quite often from now on. Afterwards, he then procured some strawberry-flavored gum from his pocket and then handed it. "Nemui-san, here have some for dessert." He stated in a low voice so that the teacher won't notice as he has a kind smile on his face. He then looked at the paranoia girl. "Katsukawa-san, have some as well." He knew that she was hungry from what he had seen earlier and with that he has that pristine kind smile that no one can see through.

After that, he took one as well and began to listen to the class lecture. As far as he is concerned, this day was really something.

Once everyone had returned to class, the teacher began roll call, and with every name Kurumi's anxiety grew. She knew that the test was coming. Although she really didn't care if she bombed her homework and tests, she knew that if she got a failing grade on a test it would make Nemui get all bent out of shape.

The younger sibling wanted her to succeed, so much that it was kind of annoying. Kurumi of course enjoyed spending time with Nemui, even if it was wasted memorizing mind-numbingly boring facts and equations for Kurumi's upcoming tests. She wanted to spend as much time as she could with Nemui, but studying wasn't what Kurumi had in mind... She wanted to travel, go bike riding, visit amusement parks, you know, all of the thighs she wouldn't be able to do when her disease finally becomes violently active. She couldn't help but feel as though she was wasting her few good years with Nemui, but at the same time she didn't want to disappoint her sister.

"Fujioka, Kurumi?" The teacher called, their eyes landing on Kurumi just as she quickly raised her hand to confirm her presence.

"H-Hai!" She announced in a clear, but also nervous tone, but she succeeded in making her presence known to the teacher before lowering her hand. Kurumi closed her eyes and let out a single slow, calming breath. She exaggerated the breath, before doing it again, only this time in reverse. This time, she slowly inhaled, and quickly exhaled once she felt more at peace. This was a calming exercise she learnt from her mother, which was something Shizuka often did before a performance. It wasn't a well known fact, but Kurumi REALLY idolized their mother. As a child, Kurumi wanted to be an actress, just like her mom, but she grew to hate the business as she got older. Once her mother began missing every other birthday and almost every Christmas, Kurumi's dream to follow in her footsteps slowly died.

The teacher handed out the test, which unlike the test that the freshmen received, was NOT a Pretest, this test was the real deal and would definitely count against them if they failed it. She gulped quietly, staring at the face down paper as the clock began to tick.

"Anyone caught cheating will be forced to throw away their test and will receive an automatic score of zero. If you fail this test, you will be on the cleaning committee for an entire week, and will help clean the school after classes each day until you have earned your freedom. This test counts against your grade, so I hope you studied over the summer.... Once you've finished your test, class is dismissed for the weekend. BEGIN!"

Kurumi nearly jumped out of her skin when the teacher shouted towards the end of his announcement, and she retrieved her pencil from the corner of her desk, quickly flipping her test over and scanning the test for questions that she knew. She answered the fifteen questions that she knew the answers to, but the rest were quite difficult. I-I'm never gonna pass! The one hundred question test covered all of her class subjects, and she was only proficient in mathematics. Kurumi guessed on the remaining eighty-five questions and turned her test in. She was the first to the teacher's desk, causing some to snicker. Any of the students that were in Kurumi's class after the eighth grade knew that she had given up on her grades.

Kurumi returned to her seat and gathered her personal belongings before walking out, letting out a sigh of relief when she was free from the classroom. She kept a slow pace as she made her way through the halls, trying not to think about what just conspired. Even though she's given up on her education, she never realized how many of her classmates were aware.

In fact, ever since the middle of her eighth grade year, it was extremely rare for Kurumi to receive a score above a 70% on her tests, a severe decline from her solid B+ average the years prior to eighth grade. It was due to her breakup with Kurou, but that wasn't the sole reason for her academic decline, her mother also immersed herself deeply in her work after that point, believing that Kurumi and Nemui were then old enough to manage each other alone. They spent more time home alone than they spent at school, and both girls had nearly perfect attendance.

Kurumi made it to her shoe locker in a zombie-like fashion, but thankfully she managed to not bump into anyone. She opened her locker with robotic precision before dropping the lock inside of her locker for a moment in order to remove her school shoes. She lifted her left foot behind her, removing the shoe, careful to not accidentally flip her own skirt up, and then removed the right shoe the same way. She dropped her converse onto the ground, slipping her feet into the blue high tops. She closed her locker and latched the lock again, turning to gaze up the stairs. I'm a junior in high school... Shouldn't I have a boyfriend..? Or experience some epic love story? There is always an epic love story when girls enter high school in all the anime.. How pathetic... Kurumi thought to herself, remembering all of the romance anime that she ended up watching with Nemui.

She noticed the time, and decided to get moving. Perhaps if she showed up to the maid cafe early they'd give her extra cash for doing overtime? Besides, she absolutely loved the job. Kurumi called a taxi, looking around quickly in attempt to make sure that no one was paying attention to her actions. She handed the man a decent chunk of cash, "Kawaii Desu Cafe`. Circle a few times if you feel that we are being followed and you can keep the change." Kurumi ordered in a flat tone, sliding into the back seat casually, flipping her hair behind her back before shutting the cab door. The car pulled out fast enough, but she was always paranoid that someone would one day follow her and discover her secret.

Once the taxi arrived at the high profile cafe, and she was confident that she was not being followed, Kurumi snuck in the back entrance of the cafe and went to her dressing room. She styled her hair and slipped into her usual dress, and began practicing her French accent. She knew both Japanese and French quite fluently because of her father. Despite being of full Japanese descent, her father was born in France and he had been raised there as a child. He insisted that both of his daughters learn the second language, and she finished teaching teaching Nemui where he had left off.

"Kurumi-chan~! School let out early? That's great! Natalia is the customer's favorite hostess and they were beginning to miss her! Go give the customers their daily dose of their favorite French maid before there is an angry mob!" Reiko laughed, gently shoving Kurumi out of the dressing room and into the serving area. Yes, Kurumi went by the alias: Natalia. When she worked, Kurumi didn't exist, only Natalia, her favorite persona. She told the customers that she was an eighteen year old girl named Natalia, just a small town girl who moved to Japan from France to get a fresh start.

"Okaerinasaimase Goshujin-sama~!" Kurumi chimed, using her pseudo French accent to give herself an exotic flair. She began her work as a maid, even serving some of her classmates, albeit only the rich dimwitted boys. Not one of the idiots that walked in recognized her as Kurumi Fujioka, not a single one, and she hoped to keep it that way. This cafe was first rate, and she didn't want to do anything to jeopardize her job here, because she enjoyed every minute of participating in the cosplay cafe.

There was an air of melancholy around Aina as she was up and about the shrine grounds doing some of her chores as it's shrine maiden. She was wearing the garb of a shrine maiden too as she released a huge sigh. Her day started with the typical hysteria and readjusting herself to the current timeline with calming down and reading her journal. She knew she was the one who wrote it, but she felt completely a stranger while reading it. The feelings she had felt during writing what happened yesterday were all gone. She stopped sweeping the grounds and looked at the sky above her. She wondered how many times she had felt this way. It was silly of her to think about it, because she won't remember anyway.

One of the things she wrote that stuck to her was meeting Len. The feelings she felt during those childhood days remained and made her smile and even her heart beating in a warm and nervous manner recalling that promise, but, according to her journal... She said something awful. Her eyes looked down at the ground as she bit her lower lip. She told that grown-up Len to kindly forget about the past. Her exact words were written on the journal as she recalled it.

"Len-san, don't worry about the past. I have forgotten about it. You should too. Being grown-up and all. It's a bit childish to think about it right?"

She released another sigh and even went to the point of slapping her cheeks. That was really not a nice thing to say, even if she really couldn't remember it, but she didn't want that Len of her past be embroiled with her, someone who has no future. Her feelings also reset making all that she had experienced before meaningless, even if she had done that, she was not that person before. It was a separate person from her and that's how she felt every day she wakes up. She might be alive, but she can never move forward is it... no, she tries to step forward but then take a subsequent step back.

"I should have just died then..." Those words echoed inside her head as her grip on the broom handle tightened, reflecting her frustration and her sadness. "Ai-chan, would you like to have tea with me? I believe it's time to take a break." Her grandfather's words took her back to reality as she looked behind her, a smile on her face, as she hide the dreary thoughts in her head. "Ah, yes. I would love it grandfather." Her grandfather nodded as he returned to the house in which shortly, she followed behind him, but stopped midway because... "Meow... Meow..." That took her attention as the sound was accompanied by a light jingling. She looked at where the source is and found it to be a small black kitten.

Image

"There you are Negai!" Aina called with cheerfulness as she went to the kitten who looked up at her with its tail wagging ever so delicately. She went towards it as she lowered herself to the ground and gently pat its head which liked it. This was a stray kitten in the shrine she had taken in. She remembered from the journal and good thing, the kitten has bell collar as well. "Where have you been? Hmm?" Little Negai purred while rubbing its face on her palm. "Let's go inside. I'll give you some milk." She scooped the feline into her arms and noticed something odd. "Negai, is there something different about your collar?" She wasn't sure really since the description of the bell collar wasn't written explicitly, but she read it was supposed to be pink, not blue.

"Ai-chan, the tea will get cold." Her grandfather stood by the door looking at her. She wasn't able to think about the collar anymore. "Ah, yes, I'm sorry grandfather!" She went towards him while little Negai in her arms, "Meow..." and the bell jingled. When she entered the house, she was welcomed with a song that was playing on the radio. It had a nice tune, but something she was not expecting her grandfather to listen to. "Do you like that song, grandfather?" Her grandfather was already sitting upon the porch overlooking their backyard. "Ah... yes... it has a nice meaning, don't you think? I think, it was sung by some boy named Ruwa... Ichigo." She nodded while putting Negai down and prepared the kitten's milk before joining her grandfather as she listened to the lyrics. "It is nice..."

She was oblivious that at the bottom of the shrine stairs someone was looking for that feline she named Negai.

Today was his day off. Haruko had managed to deal with his other schedules on her own like confirming appointments, interviews, rehearsals and the works. He wanted to have a full schedule which would give him a good reason not to attend, but his father asked for him specifically to handle some things for the wedding that would be taking place soon. It was obvious since Kurou won't even raise a hand. That's why it all falls down to him, typical. He was starting to dislike this occasion as time passed on. It was nothing but a nuisance for him as it also reminded him of that call he had received yesterday. The moment he thought about it, he could feel his annoyance increasing, anyway, that's why he arrived later than his family did and the other family involved in this particular event.

Image

"U--Uhm... Fu--wa-san... Ah-- Kitomura-san." The nervous way he was being called was a good way to stop him from his irritating thoughts as he looked at one of the assistants assigned to help him in getting changed to his so-called outfit. The girl who called blushed further as she couldn't believe her luck being inside the room and be this close to the famous pop idol just because she works for Shizuka Fujioka who was just a few moments away being the mother to this man she idolizes. "Hmm? No need to be nervous, what is it, Seo-san?" Yukito gently said with that eyes of his reflecting that friendly kindness. His answer only made Seo blushed even further because she had no idea that he knew her name. (He just read it on her ID though)

"Go--Go-oo-Gomen! The clothes you'll b--be wearing is he-re.." She showed it to him and she really wanted to see it on him. It would be like a dream come true but as for the one who was going to wear it, he could clearly see the whimsical fantasy of his father's soon-to-be wife. "Is that so? Thank you." He walked towards her and took the outfit with a smile while inside he wanted to incinerate it at once. He did not hate the clothes itself as he does wear various style of clothing especially when he's performing. He just hates the one who made it, since the clothes had all been arranged by that woman. "I guess it would be time for me to change then." He stated in his effortlessly carefree manner. Seo nodded her head in full agreement.

Yukito was soon wearing the clothes specific for him as he entered the car prepared for him. He had made arrangements for the honeymoon and the performance asked of him by his father to serve as sort of a gift. It sickens him really... doing this gesture for a woman that their father believed would be able to become their mother, his and Kurou's. That was despicable! He closed his eyes to hide the rage fueled inside him, so the driver won't notice. There was only silence in between the ride as his thoughts fiddled with his memories of his mother, that brightened anyone's day. He misses her deeply and he was sure that Kurou as well. He could also agree on his brother's belief that their father chose the easy way out... forgetting and even worse replacing... as if that was ever possible.

"Sir, we have arrived." He opened his eyes and looked at the window beside him. "Yes, we have. Thank you." He noted as he smiled at the driver as the door was opened for him by another staff. He stepped out and in his hands was a bouquet of red roses. The people present could not help but gawk and swoon at his image. His hair was not in his usual state, but neatly combed, creating a perfect image of him, much like a white prince. "Ku-nii, I see you have come." He smiled at him and then handed the bouquet to him. "Your gift to our soon-to-be stepmother. It's common courtesy."

Oh my, is that you Kurou-kun? Yukito-kun?" He looked at the one who called them and it was one of their relatives from the father side, specifically, their overbearing Aunt. "Do behave, Ku-nii. I don't want them to think badly about our mother... ever." His voice was awfully low, so it could only be heard just the two of them, but it was filled with conviction. He then had a brilliant smile on his face. It was flawless. "It's nice for you to have come Aunt Shizuka!" He greeted with cheer as the older woman had a faint blush. "Of course, I would! You two boys have splendidly grown into such a fine young men!" That's right, weddings are really troublesome and these people around him were also annoying, but he kept his perfect acting on. He will entertain them, until this farce is over.

Haruko had told him that Yukito was attending a family affair which he had known to be a wedding. It seemed his father was getting remarried. He didn't think that was a smart move family-wise especially the situation that Yukito should be in right now. He remembered the call he had received from his cousin. "EDGE, look this way please." He listened to the instruction and did that. "Perfect!" The photographer said happily. He was currently in a photo shoot for a fashion campaign. "We got all we want! Thanks for the good work!" He gave a polite small smile. "Yes, thank you as well." He then went back to his dressing room, but before doing so, some of the staff called out to him.

They were asking about the announcement he made yesterday about the news of him being linked to that coffee girl. He officially denied any links and established that there was nothing behind it, but a coincidental accident. "That's right. I really don't have any girlfriend." They noted that he should get one, it would be very easy for him so, the rumors would just stop. "That is one solution, but that would be unfair." They all looked at him questioningly. "I want to fall in love. " He winked at that statement and excused himself afterwards. The people he was talking to had flushed faces and even noted that he was a romantic, if only that was true.

He was now inside his room and looked at the wall clock. The wedding should be taking place soon. He couldn't help but worry about Yukito, not physically, but emotionally. "You can really be dense sometimes, Layla..." He muttered under his breath as he changed into his clothes and left the studio. There the car assigned to him was waiting as he entered it and leaned on the leather seat at the back with clear weariness and frustration. "What's wrong, sport?" Hus driver looked at him through the rear-view mirror. "Love is hard..." The older man chuckled at that and began to drive. He already knew where to go since Shin's schedule had been told to him earlier.

"It always is." The older man then turned on the radio as the current number one song played through the car. It was the song that Yukito introduced yesterday. Many had noted that it was completely different from the upbeat and playful songs he had been known for, but his fans loved seeing this new side of him as can be seen as it easily skyrocketed to first place. He could tell very well that this was personally written by Yukito. He took a deep breath and prepared himself for the consequence of his decision. "I want to go somewhere else." The older man looked at him. "What about work?" He loosened his collar and took out his phone. "Cancelled." His driver shook his head, but followed Shin's wish. "All right, you're the boss."

Soon, he finally arrived as he exited the car. He had managed to wring out the location of this place from Haruko. He could be very persuasive when needed. It seemed he would be what people would call a wedding crasher, but whatever as he entered and began to look for Yukito.

The wedding kiss just ended, and Himeko handed the photographer her camera, albeit it didn't seem fast enough, because the woman gave her a sharp glare filled with annoyance. Himeko loved taking pictures, but it wasn't worth this treatment. Why was she here you ask? She was working as an understudy to gain photography experience. She wanted to take pictures of children or nature, but any experience would do. No one would hire her though if she didn't get a sufficient amount of work study hours under her belt, so here she was, the last place that she ever wanted to be. The Kitomura-Fujioka family was finally combined, and soon her classmate, Fujioka Nemui would carry the Kitomura surname. She wondered how Nemui felt about it, but she was more curious about whether the school would implement her name change by Monday.

If this was me, I don't think I'd be able to do it.. This is all so fast, I doubt I'd be able to breathe.. How do people with children marry at the drop of a hat? Did their parents even ask for their opinions? She felt bad for the four kids that went to her school, even if she despised two of them. When her eyes landed on Nemui, Kurumi, and their mother, she immediately could tell that they were family, especially Nemui and Shizuka. The youngest looked so much like her mother that it was almost iconic. She didn't even realize it, but she was so beautiful.. She looked just like a model once she got out of all of those baggy clothes, and Himeko couldn't help but snap a picture of Nemui with her personal camera. S-sugoi... She was in awe, but quickly shaken out of it when everyone began to disperse to let the couple through.

They were leaving for their Honeymoon already? They weren't having a reception? Himeko found that to be quite odd, but she stepped out of the way, holding her boss's film as the married couple made their exit. On the bright side, her job was almost over. She'd get to go home soon, which was something she was definitely looking forward to. There was some chicken casserole left over in the fridge and it was calling her name. She left so early that she forgot to eat breakfast, and she was definitely feeling the repercussions now. The photographer snapped several photos from all angles, but eventually the limousine with Shizuka and Kaoru inside drove off and everyone was left to leave at their discretion. She immediately helped the photographer pack up, noticing Yukito, Kurou, Nemui, Kurumi, and Shin in the crowd. Honestly, she didn't want to be noticed by any of them.

At worst, they'd think she was stalking them. She wasn't stalking, in fact, she just found out upon arrival that this was their parents wedding. She wouldn't have agreed to show up had she known otherwise. She let out a sigh, loading up the camera supplies into the back of the photographer's van, "Please don't see me.. Please don't see me..." Himeko whispered to herself. She half hoped that she could simply be a wallflower, at least just this once. She wasn't prepared to defend herself or explain why she was here. She wasn't sure who she was avoiding more at this point, but she definitely did not want to bump into Ogawa, Shin or Kitomura, Kurou.

Once the van was loaded up, Himeko smoothed out the crinkles in her dress and looked around. If the coast was clear, she was going to make a break for it. She could make it to the bus stop, and hopefully, no one had seen her earlier, "On the count of three... One....Two..." she whispered quietly, ready to sprint off, at least as fast as her high heels would allow her to.
