Baron became the king of Aeia, a tyrant who ruled with a merciless hand. He has consumed the country of Aeia, draining its resources for selfish desires. Many live in filth and hunger because of him. Two centuries of his rule had turned the country into a barren skeleton of what it once was. But now he’s hungry for more. His thirst for power has given him the idea of starting a war with the world, consuming it all to be the one true ruler.
Descendants of Baron; Raiden Aventus and Blaire Aventus want to stop that. Their great uncle was a monster sitting on a throne bones. The two need an army, but with no legitimacy of their bloodline, the two must settle for something smaller. With only themselves and five others, the twins will set off to cut the head off the serpent.
But that won’t be such a simple endeavor. Their uncle has an army of ghouls and beasts, blood magic seeped into the throne. They cannot be open about their quest. Their uncle knows and wants their heads. If they want to survive through this and kill the king, it must be done in secrecy.
With this long journey, the group must undergo great battles and travels. They will discover things they’ve never seen. This is no simple task. They are going to change history. Either as heroes, or villains – Fate has yet to decide. The siblings are very close, clever and determined. Skilled in combat, these two mercenaries will fight their way to the king. But what kind of characters will follow them along their journey? Mischievous thieves or noble paladins? A conflicted oathbound knight or an anarchist oracle? That’s your decision.
In a world with dragons and mystical beasts, anything goes. This is a tale about a ragtag group on their journey to become legends. One that is passed down, told to children for a bedtime story. They will do anything in their power to take out the tyrannical Baron, and this is their tale.

Bastards to the King Baron, Raiden and Blaire have lived a life full of poverty. Their mother died of consumption young, leaving two children to fend for themselves. They grew up as thieves, turning into teens doing odd jobs for money. Because they depended so much on each other, the two grew an inseparable bond. This went well into their adulthood where they made a name for themselves. Being members of a mercenary guild, the two became some of the most infamous pair.
Now, they're asking for help. Have only sent out ten letters, the two wrote to only the best people they knew they could trust.
The Aventus twins write to you in hope for a hand.
We have an important quest to go on and will only speak of it in person.

1. Typical Don't Dos of any roleplay, no godmodding, no controlling other's characters. If you want dramatic dynamics between characters please discuss it in a private message.
2.) Character reservations are going to be in OOC, as well as the character sheet. To reserve a character, tell me what species, and the faceclaim. And, what your favorite fictional creature is. Make sure you use REAL people.
3.) This is not first come first serve, I have the right to deny applications.
4.) As a mature RP, there will be violence. The whole premise is violence. Other heavy digressions would be alcohol, drugs, sexual themes, and language. But keep it PG-15. I'm not hear to read smut, either, I just want to see some bloodied up monsters.
5.) BE DEDICATED. Life gets to be a bitch, I get it. But do not join if you do not think you will be able to post very often.
6.) Obviously, have fun.
