Deep within the tunnels of the Sharikere Mountains a huge black wolf with glowing blue eyes looked out into the swirling snow. His right front paw scrapped against the flat rock floor where he lay. His eyes showed a great deal of anxiousness and frustration. Suddenly he slapped his paw against the floor and roared, "Where is Mydnyte! He was supposed to be here hours ago! I can't let him join our pack if that wolf is lazier than a turtle. I should kill him the next time I see him."

This wolf, Kaveh looked towards three black wolves sitting nearby and said to them, "Bring me Mydnyte dead or alive. I want to know why he hasn't claimed any new territory for the Kamarian pack when we have so little nowadays." Kaveh remembered the war, or at least a tiny bit of it, the whole thing had been an ongoing ordea that hurt all the wolvesl, but for his pack it seemed to have hurt them the most. Mydnyte's family branch was dead and Kaveh's leadership of the current pack was the only thing holding them together because he was the only one who currently owned any land. They were deep in the Sharikere Mountains, but it was better than nothing. Kaveh couldn't even remember where his pack's ancestral lands were anymore since it had been so long since they had lived on them.

The wolves he looked at quickly followed his orders and scampered out of his caves. It would not be long before Kaveh could try Mydnyte for treason. It might be good to get rid of him since this rebellious wolf's actions, or well his anti-pack feelings had caused some of the Kamarian wolves to split from Kaveh's rule. Kaveh remembered having killed quite a few of those wolves to set an example for the rest of the pack.

In coldest mountains in the world Kaveh waited impatiently for his subordinates to return. They had not and had been gone for many, many hours. He let out a loud bark which caused his clan members to jump up in fear and run towards their master to protect him and stop him from possibly becoming aggressive and violent. That was a bad idea. In an instance five Kamarian wolf guards were hit in the head by five separate spheres of dark energy. These balls of black energy slammed into them and sent them flying into the walls of the cave. Thus crushing their backs and skulls in the process.

"Where are those IDIOTS I WANT MYDNYTE bring him HERE so I can tear out that traitor's flesh!" Kaveh spat as he stood in his cave looking at his terrified soldiers. "Mydnyte promised to find us land, but has not returned at all!"

"Sir-"

"Don't SIR me!" he said cutting off one of his grunts from speaking. "It's time to meet with Rasheed or Rashid that one wolf who thinks he can brainwash the whole wolf world to make them his slaves. I need him to instigate a war, a really big one because I'm tired of sitting here freezing my butt off. I want land and hundreds of acres of it."

Kaveh walked out of his cave and as he did looked back at it and fired off two beams of dark energy from his eyes. The beams slammed into the rocks over the mouth of the cave and blocked off the entrance for his Kamarian troops.

"Stay here until I get back with news of my efforts and think about how you can help the mighty Kamarian Empire." Kaveh shouted to his troops before running off towards Rashid's prison.

Kaveh walked down through the Sharikere Mountains covered in a heavy coat of white ice. The moment he reached the Vulcan Mountains though this ice dropped from his black fur and turned into pools of water at his feet. He felt the warm vapors rise up off the earth and heat his body and said, "I've finally arrived here, so now where is Rashid's Prison? I've heard the fool lives here, but I cannot seem to smell him."

Kaveh could not smell him because the blizzards coming down from the mountains had been especially thick and had nearly frozen his nose. He could see water droplets trickling down from his nose and sighed.

"Hm, there's a cave up ahead." he noted as he raised his head and sauntered towards it. Inside he could hear a few screams coming from the entrance and thought, "I must be close... The legendary Rashid likes to torture wolves that don't listen to him. I'll need his help, but how do I not fall under his influence."

Kaveh thought about this as he stepped into the cave and sought Rashid. He looked around the empty looking entrance and called out, "Rashid, are you here! Come out you mind freak and talk with the great Kaveh. I have a proposition from one evil person to the next!"

Cerise watched as Rakunam had left the cave and ran towards a howl in another direction. She turns her head to face Nova. "I wonder who that could be..." she says quietly before turning her head back to the mouth of the cave. The howl was deep and loud so it had to have been a Tenneth. Either that or a Dimitrios.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rashid chuckled as screams of agony and pain filled his ears, but this was all completely interrupted when a sudden yell, not a scream, penetrated the cries. Rashid growled and got up from his pillow and made his way towards the yell. On the way he called to some of the guards and they quickly followed. The loud clanking of his armor could be heard all through out the cave and, as if on cue, everyone went silent. He looked over a small cliff inside the cave and saw none other than a Kamarian alpha. Rashid grins menacingly before he quickly flies down in front of the alpha creating a gust of wind around them as his paws set down on the ground. He folds his wings up slowly. "Oh... And what proposition do you have in mind oh great Kaveh...?" He says darkly.
Kaveh stepped inside the Rashid's Prison area officially and stood before Rashid without moving an inch chuckling.
"Well, I've just gone and abandoned most of my pack in the Sharikere Mountains. I've let them be holed up in a cave I've been occupying since my pack is very broken up and won't listen to my orders and follow through. I want to give you all the unfortunate souls in there to add into your mind slave army if you'll let me become your battle tactician in the coming war. I know you want a war, frankly, with the number of wolves disappearing or moving about in these lands I don't know why no one has come looking for someone like you. You, who seem to have the most organized of groups thus far. I'm willing to offer my services to you wholeheartedly, but without your signature brain washing." he explained fully.
(Hey, Storm if Rashid was last in Rashid's Prison wouldn't the place you should have put your post been in the place called Rashid's Prison? I'm just wondering. I put my last post only in the Vulcan Mountains considering that Rashid's Prison was in that area I now officially have moved him within the prison. This is what I meant by that one OOC comment I made. If you make areas but don't use them they are going to look empty to role players. If a character is in one area that is defined as one of the places you created then they really should try to put their posts there.)
Kaveh chuckles. "A pack of your own kind to be in my control. My, My. Your mind is about as horrible as mine." He chuckles some more. "Bravo, bravo!.." He suddenly stops laughing and looks at Kaveh in the eyes. At first you might think he would deceive the alpha but instead he speaks darkly and intensely. "Now tell me where these Kamarians are and you will be the Tactician of my army..." He says.
The Tenneth controled by Rashid, Erebus, followed the scent. He had left Icarus with the other wolf trusting that he would finish her off. About half an hour of walking he finally come across a small cave with an Ausi licking at the streams of water that fell at the mouth of the cave. Erebus growls and starts to approach the wolf or wolves silently in hopes he could get this quick and over with.
"They are in a cave are in a cave north of here not too deep in the Sharikere Mountains. I used my dark energy blasts to knock them around a bit and then close off the cave." Kaveh answered Rashid.
He turned away from the black wolf and said, "Come on, I'll lead you through this lava bed and up into the mountains." Within a few seconds he stepped out of the cave and back the territory that was the Vulcan Mountains. He made sure to walk slowly, yet quickly side stepped a tiny steam geyser when it erupted at his feet. He looked back and hoped that Rashid would follow.
(Um, I think we can have the next post in the Vulcan Mountains. If you want to we can play out the part about them traveling into the Sharikere Mountains or do what I like to sometimes do which is wait a few posts to indicate that one wolf traveled x number of minutes or hours to get from one place to the next. I apologize if my posts have been short with a lot of my characters, but I never tend to write long ones unless I'm one hundred percent sure where actions, or dialogue in a story are going or unless I have more confidence with a character.)
Erebus was unmoved by their remarks. "Hmm... This is going to be harder than I thought..." Erebus said blandly before he turned to the mouth of the cave and let out a deafening howl. His grey eyes glowed some what and other howls could be heard through out the woods. He then slowly turned back to the others and growled. He wasn't in the mood to fight and with out Icarus this could be harder but he knew help would come soon. By then though, it might already be too late. Erebus breathed in a little before he opened his mouth and fire gushing out and going towards them. He didn't want to kill them since he needed them in Rashid's army, but if they started getting to close then he would have to.
Cerise growled and got into a battle position but gasped when fire started to head towards them all. She gulps and uses her wings to send a gust of wind at the flames to direct them away, but even this did not stop it from getting burns on her wings, legs, and face. Cerise staggered back a bit and leaned on the wall. Smoke was starting to fill up the cave and she needed a second to catch her breath.
Traveling into the foothills of the Sharikere Mountains Kaveh led Rashid until they reached a large cave surrounded in ice and a large mound of fallen rocks. Inside the sounds of whimpering and howling could be heard. "This is the place, do what you need to open the front door and wipe their brains clean." Kaveh stated. He stood in the snow and watched and waited to see what Rashid would do.
Rashid nods and cackles before using his powers to lift the boulders up and at his sides creating a path to the entrance. Rashid walks in and sees that it was a fairly large group of Kamarians, but all of them were weak and starving, yet that's what most wolves were at his prison so he didn't pay much mind to it. Once he entered the cave, all eyes were set on him. Most of the wolves started to growl and some, who recognized him or have heard of him, whimpered. Rashid laughs as he examines the group."Your lives are mine. I will use all of you well, so dont fear. But if you regain your true self for a second, a moment, then I will end your life." He whispers darkly and raspy like before he spreads his massive wings and flies up in the air. All wolves look up and wish they hadn't for Rashid's eyes start to glow white and soon all of the others to before all of them collapse on the ground. Rashid lands on the ground and walks out to where Kaveh is. "We will wait here for the night. When they wake, they will be completely under my control." He says.
Kaveh watched in awe and silence as his entire pack of Kamarian wolves was put under Rashid's control. He was impressed and barked at Rashid in a friendly manner. This wolf would certainly be helpful.
"I have great power too and greatly admire yours." he stated to Rashid. If we were outside I might show it to you since my power has a wide enough ranged to have taken out this cave earlier.
Cerise just watched as the Kamarain wolf took down the Tenneth so quickly. She shivered slightly and turned to her burned wing. "Great..." She mutters as some of the dead feathers start to already fall off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Why, thank you." Rashid cackles. "I admire Kamarians too. In fact, it just gives me shivers the way you wolves can control the darkness around you and how you could just disappear just like that!" He cackles some more before heading up and onto the rocks and looking over the group of unconscious wolves. "We are almost done here." Rashid states before flying onto the ground and walking through the group.

"Are they all under your control now? If they are I'd like to use my powers on them to demonstrate a little bit of what I can do." Kaveh stated as he followed behind Rashid through the ranks of his former wolf pack. Kaveh liked the feeling of not having to worry about his own group anymore. It wasn't something he liked to do, more like he'd put up with his job because he had to. He knew they'd be in better hands under Rashid's control because he could control them all with a simple thought.

Kaveh though had something on his mind, actually two thoughts and quickly brought them up as he stopped before one of his warriors laying on the ground in agony. "If I bite this warrior here in front of me he won't know that I'm hurting him right?" Kaveh voiced to Rashid with a turn of his head. "I'd like to know because I feel like using some of these wolves for target practice."

Kaveh's eyes glowed blue and he added, "I don't feel any evil in their hearts anymore, but I suppose that's because you took away their thinking abilities. Anyway, I'd like you to know that this is only a small contingent of my pack. We have a slightly larger group of females and pups nearer to the top of this mountain since we can't live in our deep valleys anymore. If you find it in your interest to take them under your, even though they're few in number and worthless, feel free to do so."

Cerise just stared in shock. Here eyes darting from where Nova was and Schemeko. She started to panic for her friends' sake and paced whilst whimpering. "W-well w-we c-could," she stuttered badly at first and tried to keep calm but nothing worked. She then thought about Rakunam and seeing if he would help. He was a more experienced wolf. Maybe he knew a little treatment for Hemlock blood toxins. "Uh, Stay here." She said quickly before darting off into the forest. Oh how Cerise wished she could fly again. With that in mind, she glanced at her wing and as a small breeze blew through the air, new, better, feathers began to form. She sighed and ran a little faster until she saw Rakunam in the cave. "Rakunam!" She shouts as she skids to a halt in front of him. "Nova has some how been infected by Schemeko's poison. Do you know of a way we can help?" She asked... no, pleaded.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rashid turns his head toward Kaveh. "Yes, they are completely under my control." he says just as the sun began to0 lurch out of the clouds way. His ears flicked slightly as Kaveh spoke once more. "Oh..." He begins to cackle menacingly. "They can feel pain, they just can't fight back, even if they wanted to. I could even make them be under your control as well..." He laughs but suddenly stops when Kaveh mentions more. "Hmm... Feel free to do what ever you please to the wolves. Ill take care of the others." Rashid didn't particularly like controlling females because they weren't as strong, and pups because they were useless so he just likes to make them his slaves.
Kaveh listened to Rashid and said, "All of that sounds good. But I'd like you to do one more thing, please demonstrate your powers on the weaklings I have told you about and kill all the pups in my clan. I'd like to start a new clan, a fresh one that is, and I can't have mothers becoming docile and caring towards pups. I need them to fear me. If you could have my former Kamarian pack destroy them I'll lead you much deeper into the Sharikere Mountains where they are."
He looked up at the ceiling and said, "First though we need to bring the old mountain down if you don't mind. I'd like to live in your nice little prison area because you've really outdone yourself with the "decorating" it'll be useful too since I'll always be on hand."
Rashid stopped flying and landed on the ground. "Hmm..." He thought a moment. "Now alright." Rashid chuckles. He calls a few wolves that looked the youngest, not the brightest, and weakest out of the group.Rashid howls and the strongest of the pack stand and immediately attack the wolves in front of him. In his mind he forces the wolves to not fight back and he laughs as he watches the wolves tear at them until they are nothing. Kaveh nodded and started jumping up the sharp slippery rocks covered in ice. He bounded higher and higher to the top as some of the wolves followed. When he stopped he landed on a ledge at the entrance of a cave even smaller than the one below it. The winds up there buffeted his fur and made it extremely cold. He snarled and walked into the cave with the other Kamarians following him. Inside were about 10 female Kamarians and about 20 pups.
"Good evening ladies," he said as he entered the cave. They bowed on all four paws before him and said, "Good evening Master Kaveh." It was a typical ritual that they followed whenever he visited, which was not often. The pups bowed before him too.
"I am here," he announced, "because you all are failures, I've brought a friend form a land a short distance away and he and I have made some special arrangements to make you much better than you are. Therefore, since he's here I'll be distributing what he said I should." He shifted his head slightly as if to command the male Kamarians behind him to attack. They lunged at the group of bowing she-wolves and pups and targeted the pups snapping their necks in a single bite, pinning them down under their great paws until the couldn't breathe, even going as to viciously kick them around like discarded bones. The she-wolves fought back, some of them, and were given similar violent treatment by being slammed into the cave walls. The out come was a pile a of small Kamarian pups and a remaining group of Kamarian she-wolves shocked out of their wits. They had never seen Kaveh go this far, but their was certainly nothing they could do at the moment. It seemed the Kamarian males with him would not listen, or it looked like it. They didn't look any different, but they acted clearly as though they were following his orders.
Kaveh raised his head and said, "Now that all that is done, I, Kaveh will continue to rule this pack, but now you will have a higher authority than me. If he gets up here in good time I want you to meet my friend Rashid the Brain Washer. He's going to be the supreme head of all packs and you all will follow him. I have killed our pups today on the grounds that we will be moving in with him and erasing this horrible existence we live in currently. We've lost the location to our canyon homes, so we need a new place and this was never it."
The females nodded knowing the name Rashid. It was a feared name, more feared than Kaveh's but even Kaveh had great power. They suspected that since they were moving out he was going to do something to destroy their cave. So they stepped out of the cave and into the cold, not gathering their belonging on the way out. It was not like they had much anyway.
Nero the Ausi listened patiently to the Dimitrios she-wolf that yakked away behind him. He couldn't quite remember her name, something like Sedi. What was that short for, her wondered. Sediment? Not the most graceful of names, but nonetheless Sedi had seemed to have taken a liking to him. She always insisted on following him wherever he went, ever since her pack had first arrived. He didn't really mind it, she reminded him of Nova in a way. Well at least their coloration was roughly the same.
Nero had been walking through the lonely peaks with her on a graceful nature walk. He had been given some time to himself, and he decided that he would finally relent to this earth wolf's desire to take a tour of the mountain. He had insisted there really wasn't that much to see, especially above the treeline, but she was persistent. So there he was, listening to Sedi complain of the cold, compliment the sights, and remark upon the weather. He told her that you would get used to it after all, and the arctic always seemed to have a beauty of its own. She retorted with how he needed to see her homeland before he could be a judge of beauty. Nero began to crack a smile, when he suddenly heard a disturbance farther down the mountain. He could hear one of the most imperceptible of sounds, the sound of a paw crunching down on snow. Multiple paws, from the sound of it.
Motioning his follower to be quiet, he told her to stay low, especially considering her fur stuck out like a sore paw in this white wilderness. Crawling on their bellies, they came to a precipice, and looking down they were able to see a large gathering of wolves. In the middle of the group was a pile of furs, however it was hard to make out what creature they came from. Shocked at their discovery, the two wolves quickly retracted their heads over the edge to hide. Nero had always known their had been other wolves in this mountain, in recent months there were the occasional muted sound coming from within the mountain. But whenever an Ausi patrol was sent out, they could never find this illusive pack. Now they were here, vulnerable, and in the open.
"Sedi, run back to the fort and summon as many warriors that are ready. Tell them to only put on armor if they can do it quickly, we have an opportunity of a lifetime." Nero instructed quietly. At his nod, she reluctantly peeled herself away from the action, and Nero continued his cautious gaze down on these unknown Kamarians.
Kaveh raised his nose in the air and sniffed around, "Ah, I love the smell of blood." The brainless Kamarians with him nodded in agreement as members of their own pack huddled together and whimpered, well those who were being oppressed that is.
"You'll have every right to know that Rashid, as I may have said, will be taking good care of you all." Kaveh announced, "If you're all out of the cave now. I'm going to bring it down."
Kaveh stepped in front of his brainwashed warriors and when he did his eyes glowed blue. "It's time to scream," he muttered as the fur on his back rose up like sharp spikes. "It's time to die," he opened his mouth to show the world elongated canines, "It's time to bring out evil minds."
Blue energy floated off Kaveh's body, "Darkness, despair, pain, suffering, terror, I only live to watch those things pass by." He dug his claws into the ground, slightly scratching the rock beneath it.
He opened his mouth wider and began to gather all the evil thoughts he had into an energy form, a blue sphere of energy formed at the front of his maw and slowly grew in size. First one foot across, then two feet across, three feet, an ever expanding sphere of energy. A bomb of hatred. In regards to the coming blast, the brainwashed Kamarians who'd helped him seemed to still have some understanding to stand back from Kaveh and did so. The blast that was to come would shake the earth, rattle the minds of the people, show Kaveh's extent of his hatred, and all that it required was a little blood shed here and there once in a while. He'd killed enough pups for what he intended.
Rashid flew out of the cave and watched as Kaveh had turned it to rubble. "Bravo!" He barks as the cave collapses. Suddenly his markings glow brighter and his eyes start to pulsate along with them. In his mind he was viewing a battle of some kind. Wolves in armor fighting the Kamarian pack he had just controlled. Once the battle was out of his mind he knew they had to get out of here. Rashid wasn't like Kaveh. At the first mention of battle charge immediately. He was smart enough to know they were weaker out here. Rashid would know, he used to be a battle strategist in his pack. So why turn evil? That was another story to be told another day.
Rashid sniffs the air and turns to Kaveh. "Now, follow the route back to my prison immediately. Make there as fast as you and all of these wolves can. No breaks." He didn't sound hasty in any way but Rashid made that up with strictness. He wouldn't be going with them. He had his own duties to take care of. Once he had finished with his order, he flew off and shouted out to Kaveh in the air. "If you ever need my help just howl!" He shouts before flapping his huge wings and taking off towards the woods.
Rashid looks around and finds some of his guards. He dives down and lands in front of them. The mindless wolves bow a little then return to their normal positioned. "Rashid. Wolves have been spotted in the deepest parts of the woods." Says an Avira. The Aven one finishes. "They mentioned they were working for... Mykeishah." The wolf pauses a moment for this name isn't common for wolves. "I believe that... Mykeishah is human." The Avira says. Rashids face perks up slightly. "A...Human..." The others nod. His mouth curls up into a menacing grin. "You two come with me and see if we can talk to this... human." Rashid chuckles darkly as he takes off into the sky the Avira follows and the Aven follows but from the ground.
Nero waited for up to a quarter of an hour, pacing, pondering, and peering down on the proceedings below him. He couldn't tell who the leader was, but they were all staring at something or someone that was out of his line of sight. Nero shared the seemingly universal distaste for Kamarians, their dark arts and untrustworthy demeanor were well founded, and seeing them so close to his homeland was all the worse. A mighty explosion shook the mountain, and a section of the ground he had been laying near seemed to simply melt away into the earth. He realized he had been laying on the roof of the cave, and only by some divine intervention he had not fallen into the merciless rubble. Shocked to the core, Nero pulled himself up and skittishly continued to watch the group below him, and watched a winged male peel off from the group.
A paw on his shoulder made the Ausi whip around and off the ground, when realizing it had been a friend, not a foe, that had startled him. Sedi had returned with a well armored contingent of warriors, a roughly equal split of Dimitrios and Ausi. She explained her punctual return had been due to her happening upon a group out for a routine patrol, and she had warned them of this danger. Seeing that there was no officer among them, they all now looked to Nero to lead, seeing he had the most information of the group. Feeling the greatness that had been thrust upon him, he explained to the soldiers a plan he had been formulating for a good while. The Kamarians had a poorly picked spot for defending, it was in a natural valley, from where one could easily be surrounded. From the looks of it, the Kamarains were uncomfortable in this icy terrain and were poor in terms of morale. Probably cooped up in their cave too long. Granted diplomacy failed, which he assumed it would, he would give the signal, and a two pronged attack would commence, from air and earth. Icy shards would be rained down from the heavens like knives of silver by the Ausi, while at the same time the Dimitrios would open mighty fissures beneath the Kamarians, throwing them off balance and maybe even crushing them in rubble. Finally, after they were softened up, the warriors would charge in for the kill.
He ordered the contingent into a circle around the valley, laying low and out of sight until the opportune moment. "Those blasted pup killers!" Nero heard one Dimitrios lad shout angrily. Nero followed his eyes and was shocked at what he saw. What he had earlier mistaken as hides of small animals were actually the corpses of pups, brutally murdered by their own pack. Nero gritted his teeth. The scum were no longer worthy of diplomacy now. The attack had to happen - now.
