Speaks Dog and Spirit
The spirit of a dog, he wears no clothing. In places on his form, he is vibrant in color, but often appears opaque and devoid of such beauty. His body elongates at his whim. Tadashi loves to curl around the perimeter of a room he is protecting, head situated at the door. When riled or ready for battle, his colors grow deep and dark. The red streaks that accompany his illusion of fur appear to be streaks of blood, the blues turning black with his rage. When in this state, he appears to himself and other inugamis completely black[center]He loves food, for it was his dying wish. For food, you will have a fierce and loyal ally. Beware the wrath of this inugami, however, for it will be twice as strong as his love.
Unable to witness suffering, especially starvation, he will do anything he can to aid those who are at such hardship.
Tadashi fears the Yama Uba
Upon death, the canine spirit acquired the ability to see color, but only reds and blues.
Gifted with the ability to possess, he can enter the body of one who is sick or frail, and cure them of their ailment. The downside (for the possessed) would be that he has half the control of their mind, and half the control of their body. Tadashi's will comes before the will of his host. Due to the obedient nature of his spirit, his wills are rarely present. However, the possessed will find themselves unable to help behaving like a dog.
Tadashi can see faeries, goblins, and elves in their true form provided they are attempting to disguise themselves. If they are attempting to do no harm, he has no reason to oust them. In fact, he often prefers to go along with the joke on mortals. Once they attempt to harm, Tadashi becomes vicious, doing everything in his power to warn the mortal (provided the mortal doesn't deserve what is coming).
Normal mortals cannot see Tadashi, unless they possess the ability to communicate with spirits. On the contrary, they can feel his presence. If he wishes to show himself, then he will be seen. Don't expect a show unless you are in distress.
Playful in nature, he loves to dance with other Inugamis. It is rare he comes across one unbound, but when he does his colors become more vibrant with joy. The red will take the illusion of appearing a bright magenta, while the blue becomes aquamarine. When in this state, he appears to himself completely gray.
