History

Lucifer was the apprentice of Asmodeus or Asmodai (Hebrew: אשמדאי‎ Ashmedai) (see below for other variations) is a king of demons mostly known from the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit.[1] The demon is also mentioned in some Talmudic legends, for instance, in the story of the construction of the Temple of Solomon. He was supposed by some Renaissance Christians to be the King of the Nine Hells. Asmodeus also is referred to as one of the seven princes of hell. In Binsfeld's classification of demons, each one of these princes represents one of the seven deadly sins (Pride, Lust, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, and Wrath). Asmodeus is the demon of lust and is therefore responsible for twisting people's sexual desires. It is said that people who fall to Asmodeus' ways will be sentenced to an eternity in the second level of hell. When the previous demon got bored, Lucifer took his place giving up both his soul in exchange for immortality and the chance to influence the world with his new powers and abilities. Lucifer wants nothing more then to feel the love of the world, and happily accepts when the world loves him back.

Lucifer Kerrin took a long sip of his own drink, satisfied with the flavor despite the strong taste of alcohol the small sting it always sent to a persons senses. He titled his head in the direction of the other partrons in case the meaning was misguided, though how could it be when there were shootings and fights breaking out every minute.

Lucifer Kerrin couldn't help laughing, it was a soft and musically kind of sound barely heard about the racket surrounding them. Lucifer turned to face the girl properly, taking a seat upon one of the bar stools next to Nichole rather then continue to lean against the bar itself. "It's quite a show, for sure." Lucifer commented with a thoughtful smile. "But doesn't it make you feel a bit left out, sometimes?"

Lucifer Kerrin was definitely enjoying the company this apparently wallflower offered. He mulled the question over a moment and took another sip of the drink in hand, though he already knew full well the answer that was going to be given. "I come ususally to see if anyone interesting might be around. The entertainment mostly, draws everyone here. Though as it turns out a really don't have very far to look for either." Lucifer replied calmly, turning and placing the now empty glass on the counter. "Shall I buy you another?"

Lucifer Kerrin laughs and shakes his head. "Trust me, it gets very annoying after a while." He replied, running his long fingers threw purposefully ruffled blond hair. Honestly, who didn't want someone to open doors for them? People where weird. "And I meant, that the guy over there just winked at you - though it seems he chickened out when it came to anything further." Lucifer added with an amused grin. If still within earshot, that should rile up the other fellow a bit and he didn't mind. "So where is your husband or wife, I'd expect a lovely girl like yourself wouldn't be out without an escort."

"My attention only drifts in fear of compitition, though I am surprised that the 'one' hasn't already found you. I'd think people would be racing to do that."

Lucifer Kerrin slid off the stool quite gracefully and took Nicholes hands, which were folded gether ever so perfectly, gently placing a light kiss to the back of her palm. "It was a pleasure chatting with you, as well." He reiterated her words easily. "And I'm sure it will happen again." Lucifer released her hands, nevermind the card with his information he had so easily slipped between them and took his leave with a wave farewell. Parting were always so hard and slightly painful when it meant leaving company so sweet, but falling asleep inside a bar could prove just as painful and Lucifer wasn't willing to have that happen tonight or anytime soon.

Lucifer Kerrin thought a bit odd to be in a bar so early in the afternoon, but when you have little else to do in your day it seemed to quickest way to find entertainment and there was nothing better then a nice relaxing drink to start what was sure to be an interesting evening. These reasons in his head, Lucifer pushed threw the front doors of Gambits bar. Blonde hair purposely messy in just the right way, clothes pressed and clean. He wandered leisurely to the bar and took a seat, once again letting his gaze cross over the individuals that filled the room.

Lucifer Kerrin purposefully tangled blonde hair refused to be tamed by the long fingers that racked threw it, trying to bring the fluffy strands into some sort of respectable order. With a disatisfied sigh Lucifer gave up and let his hands return to the warmth of his favorite demin jacket, turning away from the shop window that he'd been using for a mirror with a final wink and smile to the young women working on the other side and stepped back onto the sidewalk.
Deep blue eyes took in the surrounding area with little interest save someone grumbling to themselves nearby, but besides this there really wasn't that much to be see so late in the day when most people had already either scuttled home to dinner or found their way into one of the many bars. He'd likely reconsider the second option himself when the sun disappeared from the sky and the chance to meet Nichole seemed much more likely.
Curiousity and Lucifers inability to let anyone continue to look unhappy if he could help it and around to make a different made the decision for him and he walked leisurely over, easily keeping stride with the young man carrying a violin.
"You know, you shouldn't talk to yourself else people will think you're a bit nutty." Lucifer began, instead of any introduction of helpful hint. Talk about calling the kettle black. "You alright?"

Lucifer Kerrin certainly was not a mugger of anything of the sort and would have been quite offended if he knew of the others thoughts toward the offered company and assistance. As it was, Lucifer was oblivious and thus happy as a clam sitting out on a sunny beach.

He fixed Damien with a peculiar look, glancing first up and down before walking a tight circle around the other man that had wandered up. Nevermind that the three men continued to walk forward; for this did not seem to bother or hinder him from keeping up in the least. It also didn't seem to registered in the young blonds mind that it could be interpreted as rude to be so boldly checking someone out in public, though it wouldn't have stopped him regardless.

"I've seen you before, I think.....somewhere." Lucifer spoke his thoughts aloud as he wracked his mind to remember from when and where, though when he couldn't come up with any answer to the rhetorical question he let it drop and let his attention fall back to the shrinking man he'd first spoke too.

Unforunately for Sion, Lucifer also lacked any sense of personal space whatsoever. Throwing an arm around Sions shoulders Lucifer pulled the man closer as if to shield him from any protentional harm the new company would intend.

"You don't look okay, you look like you're about to melt into a crack between the sidewalk blocks if that were physically possible." Lucifer commented lightly to the way the other seemed to try to shrink inside their own jacket as they walked further down the street.

Lucifer raised one perfectly shaped eyebrow in Damiens directions, the bond comments the other was making toward his currently companion definitely not going unnoticed and igniting a flicker of jealous within the blond that was oh so hard to ignore. If that was what the others intentions were it wasn't going to be an easy.
A second arm found its way around Sions shoulders, and without too much effort at all Lucifer pulled Sion to a stop. Luckily none of the trio were in any danger of harm nor in the way of blocking any other traffic that might happen along in the middle of the sidewalk. His arms wrapped around Sions shoulders in a comfortably loose complete with fingers entwined, Lucifer shot Damien a challenging and slightly amused look that dared the other to keep going or run.
"Go on your way where?" Lucifer asked politely, an extra sense of sweetness and courtesy in his voice as he address Sion. "You just said you were lost."
