Maximilian Ray:

A human. He was once considered a powerful seer by his people. While exploring the future he was set upon by Gram, a demon from the nether. Gram transformed him, and turned him into a murderer. He killed his village and traveled to more civilized land. After antagonizing the people of Wing City for ten years, Maximilian's soul now houses another being. Seraph.

Grahm:

A demon. He was born in the eternal fires of the Nether, and spent a million years trying to find a suitable host. He found Maximilian, and attacked at the man's most vulnerable time. When he was out of his body. The demon assumed that he'd break the connection with Maximilian's body, and be able to keep it for himself. Much to his dismay, Maximilian stayed connected with his body and must now share it with the demon and the being of Justice.

Seraph:

A being of Justice. He isn't an angel, but a doer of good. A good Sumeritan. He invaded Maximilan's body and gave the human the controls to his body again. Now Seraph and Gram must battle for control, and all the while try to convince Maximilian to do their bidding.

Max had to brace himself against the stone bench. They were fighting, and he could feel it. His back contorted and he let out a strained cry before he dropped to his knees next to the bench. Lights flashed around him. Red, blue, red, blue. It was almost as if two invisible forces were duking it out.

His eyes flickered different colors, and his features would become angry and then soften again almost instantly. His being was caught in a sort of soul tug-of-war with two other beings that occupied his body.

Max looked up at her, "I'm f-f-fine." He said, his voice stuttering and changing rapidly in tone. He grabbed his head, and let out a pained grunt. If she listened closely she might hear the beings inside of him colliding and shouting. "Please... Go- Go away!" His voice grew angry and it changed completely. Instead of the voice of a young man it sounded like the voice of a grinding stone.

He backed up a little, "I-I-I'm sorry." He said, his voice softening.

Max grabbed at his throat for a second, and then it looked like a thousand pound weight was lifted off of his shoulders. He let out a slow breath. "I'm sort a host for two spirits that fight over my body constantly. They could easily overpower my human spirit, but one or the other needs to be gone first." He said, pulling himself up to sit on the bench.

"I don't mind telling people because if anything happens to me, I'll get out of this cycle of fighting and draws." He quickly pulled up his arm and coughed heavily into it. A bit of blood was left in the sleeve, but he moved his arm so she couldn't see it.

Max gripped the bench, and raised an eyebrow, "Why are you talking to me? I'm just some guy you saw screaming in a garden." He said, wondering why she was walking to him. Maybe she was one of those compassionate people. What if she was one of those people that wanted to kill him, and extract the souls in his body? She asked about the blood.

"When they fight, I get some collateral damage." He said quietly.

Max placed his hand on his stomach, and shrugged, "I don't know, it normally stops after a day or two if they don't fight during then. He heard a quiet voice in his head, 'She seems sweet, Max. Max blinked a few times, and flinched a little as another voice sprang up, 'Kill her! Kill her!' it shouted at him.

He looked down at his fast, and it was balled. He let out a slow breath, and relaxed.

Max looked at her for a second, "What are you, a therapist?" He asked, raising his eyebrow. The way she was talking reminded him of the doctors. He hated doctors. 'Murder!' the voice in his head shouted.

Another, sweet voice spoke, 'Let her talk to you, maybe it'll comfort you Max.'.

Max shook his head, and turned his eyes from her and to the plants across the pathway, "I don't take any medicine. I don't want to see anyone for it, either." He said, gripping the bench tightly.

Max looked over at her, the evil voice in his head quieting down, "I.. Not really.." He said, turning his gaze from her. He was ashamed that he didn't have a home, but the beings in his made getting a job hard, and even harder when he had money to spend. His eyes blued slightly, and when he spoke he sounded slightly different, "Do you know anywhere to stay, or anyone to speak to?" He asked, his now blue eyes looking at her and then to the flowers surrounding them.

Max stumbled down the street. How had he gotten here? It had been days since he'd slept and despite Seraph's warnings, he'd attempted to get some rest. While he was sleeping, the demon that was inside of him must've taken control and take him somewhere. The question was, where had he been taken?

As he braced himself on a corner, he felt something lightly gripped in his hand. Had he taken that from somewhere? He couldn't quite tell what it was in the dim light that was cast by the broken sign above him.

Max turned, and his eyes glowed red for a moment before he exploded into a run down the street. The young man was listening to his iPod and walking down the street was thrown out into the road by Max as he pushed past him. Max turned down a side-street, and tore a gate open to keep running.

He didn't know why someone would be chasing him, but he assumed that is what she was doing. Chasing him.

Aneres Coreveon wasn't dressed as obscurely as she would have liked to believe. The shimmering white kimono-style overlayer embroidered with golden moons down the sleeves, the long-hemmed fringe coming to rest just above the hemline of golden bell-bottoms. Beneath was a plain white top. A golden chain poked out from the collar but the rest of it was tucked beneath the shirt.

There was nothing Aneres could do about the bodyguards who followed her, but she had grown used to that to some degree. At least they let her style them at this point. It made everyone's job easier.

Aneres flicked golden braids to look one way up the street, then the other, then back again. A grunt from one of the bodyguards signaled that it was alright to cross. Halfway across the street she felt a slight tremor of energy. The bodyguards picked up their pace and hurried Aneres across. She didn't protest. They came to stop a stone's throw from a mercedes, a man perched atop the back.

"Did you feel that?" Aneres asked the man, half looking down her nose despite the fact that he was literally seated higher up than where she stood. Her tone wasn't pretentious but there was something about it that dripped with royalty.

"Bristol, very nice to meet you," Aneres extended her own hand and delicately gripped his. She frowned upon hearing that he didn't know what it was either.

"I am Aneres, as I prefer to be called," She regally addressed Bristol with a smile, "Princess of Aurealas. A pleasure to meet you. Is that what brings you here? Looking for the source of the disturbance? I will admit I haven't felt it anywhere else but here."

One of her Over's coughed. She rolled her eyes. They were always concerned she would reveal too much. Aneres had yet to do so.
