They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with.
Some people just want to watch the world burn..

Miranda Mimoura A'tachimo || Twenty-Eight || Female
Bisexual || Foundry Worker/War Vet. || Fire/Steel Type
As if the world isn't already ass backwards, now you have lil' ten year olds running around as trainers? Back when I was a kid, Pokèmon used to mean something to us and not everyone had one. Back then, you had to go through the army if you wanted to get into battles, in some towns and cities, well...battles weren't allowed. Stirred up too much trouble you see, back then everyone was in gangs, hell..everyone was fighting. It wasn't just a left and right thing. Nor was it a good and evil thing. Everyone. Fought.
Why? Hell, now that I think about it; I can't for the life of me remember why we fought, it was just a violent era. The war itself lasted a damn good...shit...ten years? Fifteen? I was about seventeen when I joined up because I wanted to fight and I wanted to do what's right. I'll tell you what, the army was the best and worst thing to happen to me in my entire life.
Disregard the family drama, forget about gossip with friends. When you're given a gun and told to shoot another human being or a Pokèmon on the other side of the battle, it changes you. When you're giving orders to your team to kill their fellow brethren it corrupts you. In a way, there is no solid victory when it comes to war. There is no winning side. Everybody loses.
Still, I got lucky somehow. Ended up getting a nasty wound in my leg, had the bone replaced of course, that and I have plates in my head from where I got shot. I got my medals though and I did my duty to my country. And yes, the money was nice too. Still, I've never recovered from my war ways. I'm still Seargant Bitch to a few close friends, I suffer from Shell Shock or whatever they call it, and I never got over my love for fire and steel. The heat of battle, the iron stench, the roaring flames, and the steel bellows of combat. Glorious if not morbid.
But the war's over, people've forgotten about it, or most don't think it even existed. One side of me is angered by what our government enjoys keeping from the text books, but another side of me is grateful. Knowing such a bloody past and discovering that Pokèmon were merciless killers on both sides can fuck with these kids heads. Ignorance is bliss they say...
Anyways, if you want to get to know me then go right ahead. I'm not that blushing/shy type. Quiet? Sure, but it'd be wise not to mistake that for something.."innocent" or whatever. I'm a mature woman, I have bills to pay, I have a job, a decent house, and shit to do. I'm an adult. Plain and simple. Meaning I usually don't have much time for Pokèmon battles as much anymore. Do I enjoy battles? Sure, but I'm getting to that age where starting a family or thinking about other things than running off and having adventures like kids do.
Sad thing is? I envy you kids. Running around in the yard or in parks with your Pokè friends and rivals, but I passed up that freedom when I was younger so you could have it today..so I'm happy for you lot. Prideful? Fuck yes I am. Got every right to be too! Hmm, anything else you want to know? Detalied past? Favorites? Likes? Dislikes? Pfft- the fuck you wanna' know that for?

Spine | Lvl. 90 | Male | Rock Head
Spine was the first Pokemon Mimoura has had since she was fourteen. Though at the time the Onyx was her grandfather's, the Pokemon has been in her family for a good two generations so far and is often disputed with family members of being the main family emblem for their insignia. Being miners and owners of mines, the Onyx often represents strength, power, and of course their ability to dig through great mountains with ease. Whereas other kids were getting Bulbasaurs or Charmanders, Mimoura was given the youngest Onyx of their mining company. Though their relationship at first was a bit rocky (no pun intended), the two developed a strong friendship and love for one another. The Onyx was respectfully given the name Spine due to being the backbone and support of the team. It wasn't until around the time Mimoura was sixteen that Spine evolved into a Steelix, which she was greatly happy about. When in the war, Spine was a fantastic fighter and one of the few well known veterans in various infantries for not only his strength, but his cunning and often merciless, if not brutal, acts when in battles. Mimoura admits that she has a hard time controlling Spine and rarely brings him out in battle due to his trigger happy lash outs and his difficult temper. Nevertheless, he's surprisingly a mild mannered and caring Pokemon if he's not fighting.
Lovelace | Lvl. 89 | Male | Flame Body
Mimoura has always had a love for fire and she's always been around smelters, foundries, and heat to match her fiery soul. Lovelace was the first Pokemon she caught, a devious little Magby that was always giving miners trouble. He too went along with Mimoura in the war and for the longest time, Lovelace and Spine were her only two Pokemon until she obtained the others by incident or gifts. Lovelace himself is a devious sort of character, he's intelligent and crass with taunting other Pokemon, but he's got plenty of power to match up with. Yet over the years, the crass and obviously rude Magby has grown into a tactful Magmotar. He's the brains and the planner, he knows where to be at the right time, and he knows his way in battle to where even water types have a hard time keeping up with him. Loyalty is something he sticks by proudly and he's not too keen on new members joining the team from the get go, but over time he accepts other Pokemon.
Tyr | Lvl. 60 | Male | Keen Eye
Tyr is naturally a very mean spirited thing. He doesn't like strangers approaching, and he's not very kind towards other trainers and Pokemon. His trust and loyalties only lie in with Mimoura. A proper explanation is needed of course; You see, Tyr was once on the opposing side of the war and wasn't treated by the best of soldiers. Often he was exploited as a scout to observe and lead soldiers to enemy camps or even civilian areas to be claimed and raided. Neglect and abuse were high, but after a rather disputed battle between Mimoura and raiding soldiers whom were unlucky enough to try and loot the civilian village she was hiding in, Tyr didn't stand a chance against Lovelace and Spine. His great disdain and dispute with Lovelace due to tempers constantly clashing. Yet after the battle, Mimoura managed to take in Tyr and heal his wounds. Three weeks of bitter winter in a now destroyed village and a broken wing left Tyr in a ripe and bitter mood. Still, Mimoura persisted and in the end she managed to persuade Tyr to join her team.
Lamp | Lvl. 54 | Female | Sturdy
Ahh..what a sweet creature this Aagron is. Truly the motherly type and the one that tries her hardest to take care of others. Another abused and neglected Pokemon that was picked up by Mimoura during her travels. Mimoura is sweet on Lamp, she loves the affectionate brute and knows full well that the Aagron knows little of her own surprising strength, still Lamp is a decent powerhouse and a still in training Pokemon trying to learn how to properly fight, though her intentions of just playing it safe and lazing about is often more important to her than being involved in conflict. Yet don't let her affectionate attitude be mistaken for weakness! If her teammates or Mimoura is danger she'll fight through hell and back to save or protect them.
Milo | Lvl. 40 | Male | Gluttony
The trickster and prankster. Also the quick moving one too! Mimoura is currently training Milo to be the Flash of her team by practicing with his agility and dexterity so he maneuver through challenges. Milo's a gifted Pokemon, one Mimoura obtained after a close friend of her's passed away, though at the time he was just an egg, she raised the flaming simian as if he was her own child. She admits that his shenanigans and jokes are often dangerous, that and his love for food gets her into some awkward situations, but she wouldn't give up the monkey for anything.
Laguna | Lvl. 16 | Female | Flash Fire
A recently obtained Pokemon. Laguna is the "baby" of the team and treated as so, mostly by Lamp's affections. Though the poor Pokemon tries her best to keep a mature and confident demeanor, she's often sold short as the "weakling" and "runt" of the team. Mimoura's a bit protective of her sometimes, but Laguna is becoming a strong part of the team and in time, Mimoura knows she'll be just as strong as the others. It's simply a matter of patience, hard work, and education to get the Pokemon in top gear. Still, Laguna is overconfident for her own good sometimes and that gets her snapped at a bit too damned much for her own good.
