Description
Shizu has black hair that she keeps in pigtails and dark eyes. She normally wears a black dress that goes just past her knees, and she is short for her age. Her face has worry lines and laugh lines that aren't well defined. In her succubus form, she faces the same changes as Midori.
Personality
As a person, Shizu is wise, quiet, and gentle. She considers herself a steady, reliable person.
Equipment
Like Midori, Shizu is an excellent marksman, but perfers a bow and arrow over a gun. She has a copy of Midori's locket.

Meanwhile, inside the store, a lone woman sat alone at a table, her hood down. This woman was Midori's mother, Shizu. She looked out the door to see a farmilar face. "Midori..." the succubus mouthed out her daughter's name before moving further to the door, hoping to hear her voice.
Shizu smiled. It really was her daughter. "You don't have to go in at all." she said, walking out of the store. "Midori, it's been a long time..." she smiled, and held out her arms.
Shizu looked up at Leer as she hugged Midori. "I know. I had Midori when I was, well, about as old as she is now." She said, with a smile.
The setting changes from main-street to Gambit's Bar
Shizu glanced at Proto. "Wait, you were with my daughter, to, so mabye it's you" she smiled. "Mom, cut that out!" Midori blushed as she walked over to wake up Leer. "I'll get Leer to confirm it, I'm not-"
"That's what they all say" Shizu giggled back.

Shizu drooped her head sadly. "You can't use it yet" she said simply. "It's only usable when your opponent is near- death, and even then, it's near impossible to pull off..." she looked down. "You're supposed to open the locket like so..." she reached for her own locket, which was an imperfict replica of Midori's, and opened it. "Mine is different from yours, and inside yours, there should be a piece of the Lillith mirror..." she shuddered at the name of the artifact, but that was another story for another day.
"And you," Shizu turned her attention to the man with the gun. "What are you doing, staring at my daughter like that? She IS a succubus, but she's not part of the, ahem, service" she placed her hand on her hips, glaring at him. "Mom..." she started, looking over at the man. When she saw him, her blood ran cold. Midori couldn't saw why, but this man was terrifying her.
"I see..." said Shizu, untensing her muscles. "In any case, this guy-" she motioned to Celion, "Is causing a commotion, would anyone mind if I set up a magic barrier around him?" she asked, changing into her Succubus form. Midori held a steady gaze on the man, unsure as she changed form herself, just to be safe.
Shizu finally found the right spell. "Ah! Here we go!" Shizu started. After a moment, she began chanting in Latin, and a magic circle appeared under Celion. "Nine gates... activate!" A burst of red aura came up from the magic circle, intending to hold him in place. "There, all better." Shizu smiled as she put away her spellbook.
Shizu looked at Check. "No problim, he was giving me a headache" she rubbed her tempole to demonstrate. "Anyways, you really wanna thank me? Just kick his ass" she nodded in approval. Then, Shizu turned to her daughter, "Something wrong, dear?" she asked.
Shizu coughed up blood, attempting to pull herself up. She motioned to Proto, who was in his mouse form. "Help" she mouthed out, dragging herself tword the door. Dispite Celion's line of fire, she had to get to her daughter. Even as the scent of blood filled the bar, that did not deter the succubus. Nothing was stronger than a mother's love.
The setting changes from gambits-bar to Main Street
"Wait..." coughed Shizu. "He... he has..." Midori knelt by her. "He has the locket... I can feel it" she mumbled to Leer and Midori. "Mother, you shouldn't be talking" said Midori, not quite hearing what she said. "I'll take you to Under, he'll know what to do..." she said, hoisting her mother up. "The locket... he has..." Shizu's vision became blurry. "He has the locket..."
Meanwhile, in Under's shop, Shizu was just waking up. She had a pounding headache. "Ugh... what the..." she sat up as realization flooded her. "Midori! Midori, where are you!?" the succubus looked around, her daughter was nowhere in sight.
Shizu looked around, attempting to take everything in. "Alright? Alright!? Storen, THEY have her!" she grabbed the coller of Under's shirt and pulled him down so the two were eye- level. "If they have her, and she doesn't give them the locket, they'll kill her!" she started hyperventelating.
Midori growled. "Take another look, I'm a GIRL..." she growled, stopping struggling. She couldn't die here, her mother wouldn't like it. "It'll only open if your opponent is near death... and, for the love of god, I'm a girl."
"Damn it, I'm getting too old for this, Storen..." she sighed. "I'm not gonna live forever, but with that locket, Midori might..." she sighed. "I failed once by nearly letting my bitch of a mate kill her with his 'research'... I can't let her die here..." she sighed.
"If you know how important it is, why do you keep charging her?" she asked, placing a hand on her hip.
Shizu rolled her eyes. "Storen, need I remind you where research got us last time? It almost killed our life- link... not to mention I lost my tail because of it..." she looked down, upset.
Midori silently walked by the man. "Please... if you really do kill me, at least tell me why this locket is so important." she requested after they were out of Leer's range of hearing.

Shizu sighed. "Not that again, Storen, why don't you just stay with the council, like everyone else did?" she asked. "And we sure as hell know I can't go back... if I do, it'll only get THEM closer to Midori... by the way, her chest isn't THAT flat." she pointed out.
"Ow!" Midori said as she was pushed to the ground. "Damn... now we're dead..." she mumbled, before rushing back to Leer and Proto. "Guys! ...first off, I'm a girl. Seccond of all, you didn't give him the real locket, right?" she grabbed Leer by thr shoulder. "RIGHT?"

Shizu sighed. "Well, as long as Midori stays alive, the council can't intervene... is that why you left?" she asked. "You and I should just be bystanders, but we had to go and get ourselves involved... we're just as stupid as that kid, Leer..."
Midori tilted her head. "Really? You really saved it? You know, if the locket falls into the wrong hands, we could all die. I'm glad you didn't do anything stupid..." she smiled. She was tempted to break out into tears. "I'm sorry... it's my fault..."

"The dark council is going to end the world, Storen!" Shizu herself began tearing up. She stopped herself before she broke out into tears. "Damn... now we don't have a choice..." she bit her lip. "Storen, I'm going after my old mate. If I don't come back alive, take care of Midori" she said, looking back at him.
Midori ran. She didn't know what she was running from, she simply ran. At that point, she didn't care about the locket, the council, not even Leer. All Midori wanted to do was get as far away she could from everyone.

Shizu sighed. "Storen, am I doing the right thing? If he makes a replica of the locket, who knows what the price will be? And the last time I gave him a request, I paid the goddamn piper" she pointed out, taking a few of Under's cookies.
Midori growled. "You bastard... if I die, I'm taking you down with me" she said, not letting up on the trigger. "And who knows? That locket might just be another, more realistic copy..."
